Exposing some myths about the Ukraine war

All rational Americans agree that we shouldn't get involved in the Russia-Ukraine War. The neocon warmongers with brain dead Biden as their figurehead want to destroy Russia, and they are willing to risk nuclear war to do it. But this doesn't negate what I've just said. These monsters are anything but rational. But speaking of monsters leads to another question. Everybody knows John Quincy Adams's line: "America goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy." Is this the reason we should stay out of the Ukraine war? Is Putin a monster, bringing death and destruction to innocent people, but someone whose actions we have to ignore because it's too dangerous to act against him? Some people who say this don't get what's happening, although others don't view Putin as a monster, but think he made a mistake. I don't agree, but this isn't my target. Putin is a rational statesman, with legitimate security interests and the supposed hero Zelensky is a dubious character.

Why do people think otherwise? One reason is the charges of Russian atrocities in Bucha. These charges are just that "charges". Fake atrocity claims have often been a way to inflame people to support war, and the Bucha accusations are the latest example. Christopher Roche, who isn't pro-Putin, explains why we shouldn't fall for it: "The reports and photographs showing an apparent massacre in Bucha, Ukraine, are truly terrible. They are reminiscent of the atrocities used to galvanize Western opinion during Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s, when the Srebrenica Massacre and the Siege of Sarajevo were seared into Western consciousness.

Of course, pictures do not always tell the whole story. For example, to determine whether a war crime took place we must know who did the killing, why, and how. After all, the United States killed many thousands of Iraqis and Afghans, frequently by accident, in the course of those wars. Few in the United States or Europe would call those actions war crimes. This all became apparent after the United States exonerated itself for the annihilation of an Afghan family via a missile strike during the withdrawal of U.S. forces last summer. Oops.

Like any crime, a war crime must involve intent or at least recklessness. Killing civilians or POWs without trial, or humiliating them as an act of revenge, are each undoubtedly war crimes. The documented abuse of prisoners by Donetsk People's Republic commander Givi was the basis for a Ukrainian war crimes investigation against him, before he was assassinated in 2017.

If civilians were shot and purposefully killed in Bucha, it undoubtedly would be a war crime and a terrible thing. But there are credible reasons to believe the so-called Bucha Massacre was not the doing of the Russian Forces, but rather of the Ukrainians — either local militia or SBU or some combination of thereof — as part of brutal reprisals against 'saboteurs' and 'Russian collaborators.'

Banned anti-personnel mines being used by Ukraine discovered by RT reporter

Internationally banned MON-50 and MON-90 mines used by the Ukrainian forces were discovered in Mariupol, RT's Murad Gazdiev reported on Sunday. In 1999, Kiev joined the 1997 Ottawa Convention, which bans use of such devices.

They were found inside the Ilyich steel mill. Russian troops and the Donbass forces expelled "Ukrainian nationalists" from the facility on Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"This was set up here with a tripwire," Gazdiev said, standing next to one of the explosive devices that was lying on the floor. More mines were found in wooden crates nearby.

CIA bombshell: The Sussmann data was "user created," confirmation of a frame-job against President-Elect Trump

john durham
My late Friday night involved hitting refresh on PACER every so often, incurring the $0.10 charge for each search result as I waited on Special Counsel John Durham's latest filing in the Michael Sussmann case. (Exciting, I know.)

The motion exceeded expectations, discussing CIA conclusions that Sussmann was providing implausible data to federal authorities, providing CIA notes regarding their meeting with Sussmann, and confirmation that they essentially spied on President-Elect Trump.

The motion can be found here. It was filed as part of the government's efforts to convince the court that the evidence it seeks to admit in Sussmann's trial is relevant and admissible. Let's go through the most important parts.

Comment: More from Fox News:
In the filing, Durham responded to objections from Sussmann's defense regarding what evidence could be admissible at Sussmann's trial, which is scheduled to begin next month. Sussmann is accused of lying to the FBI by saying he was not attending a meeting on behalf of a particular client when he was actually presenting the information on behalf of the HiIllary Clinton campaign and a technology executive with whom he worked.

Durham in February first revealed that the government would establish during trial that among the data "exploited" was domain name system (DNS) internet traffic pertaining to "a particular healthcare provider, Trump Tower, Donald Trump's Central Park West apartment building, and the Executive Office of the President of the United States (EOP)."

In February, Durham said data was exploited "by mining the EOP's DNS traffic and other data for the purpose of gathering derogatory information about Donald Trump," adding the data was used to establish "an inference" and "narrative" tying Trump to Russia.

But Sussmann is moving to preclude evidence concerning the "gathering" of that "DNS data" by "Tech Executive 1," who has been identified as Rodney Joffe, and his associates.

In Friday's filing, Durham argued that the gathering of the data is a "necessary factual backdrop to the charged conduct."

Durham's original indictment alleges Sussmann told then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in September 2016 — less than two months before the 2016 presidential election — he was not doing work "for any client" when he requested and held a meeting where he presented "purported data and 'white papers' that allegedly demonstrated a covert communications channel" between the Trump Organization and Alfa Bank, which has ties to the Kremlin.

The indictment alleges that Sussmann lied in the meeting, "falsely stating to the general counsel that he was not providing the allegations to the FBI on behalf of any client."

Sussmann has pleaded not guilty and has sought to dismiss the case. The federal judge presiding over the case denied that request this week.

Ukraine can fight Russia 'for 10 years' claims Zelensky, as neo-Nazi led military suffers heavy losses & demands West supply ever more arms

zelensky german parliament bundestag
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during his virtual address to the Bundestag accused Germany of putting its economic interests ahead of its response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Ukraine is not prepared to give up territory and is ready, if necessary, to fight Russia "for 10 years," President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed. He also appeared to acknowledge that the current conflict effectively began in 2014, when Kiev first launched an operation to re-take the breakaway Donbass.

In an interview with CNN, Zelensky said that for Ukraine "the battle for Donbass is very important" for a number of reasons, adding that it could affect "the course of the whole war." He stressed, however, that a diplomatic solution to the conflict is preferable.

Comment: It seems that Russia agrees Donbass is important, that's why it focused on liberating Donbass, and it did so by luring the US-proxy army in Ukraine away to Kiev.

"We cannot give up our territory, but we must find some kind of dialogue with Russia," Zelensky said, adding that talks will not be conducted "on the basis of the Russian ultimatum."

Comment: It remains to be seen what's left of the Ukraine as we know it in 10 weeks, never mind 10 years. Zelensky's acting experience has certainly fooled a great many people into thinking otherwise, but the facts on the ground, such as the heavy losses of Ukraine's military bases, troops, territory, and its endless begging for more money and arms, reflect a proxy army in dire straits: Ukraine is smashed, this is how it will be repaired

Fauci funded two HIV tracking studies of teenage drug using prostitutes in China

anthony fauci senate hearing
© Chip Somodevilla/Getty ImagesDr. Anthony Fauci testifies before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee about the ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic on Capitol Hill on Nov. 4, 2021.
Strange thing for an American agency to be funding.

Anthony Fauci's National Institutes of Health agency funded research in China tracking Chinese prostitutes as young as 16-years-old.

The unearthed studies, published in 2012 and 2013, follow Fauci's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) supporting "killer" bat coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The Chinese Communist Party-run lab is believed by many to be the source of COVID-19 given its links to the military and controversial gain-of-function research.

Comment: The Wuhan labs were US backed, not Chinese, this is further supported by the evidence of US bioweapons research in numerous other countries across the planet. Moreover, the evidence suggests that the coronavirus likely leaked from Fort Detrick, which was temporarily shutdown over a safety breach in August 2019, shortly after covid was detected in multiple regions across the planet.

A study from March of 2013 - "Drug Use and Sex Work: Competing Risk Factors for Newly Acquired HIV in Yunnan, China" - also counts funding from Fauci's NIAID.

"This study was Supported by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of National Institutes of Health (U19 AI51915) under China Integrated Programs for Research on AIDS (CIPRA); The Twelfth Five-year Plan (number 2012ZX10001001-013); National Natural Science Foundation of China (number 81001291)," explains the paper. The National Pulse has previously exposed the deep relationship between fellow study funder National Natural Science Foundation of China and China's military.

Comment: One wonders why Fauci's NIAID was particularly interested in Chinese sufferers of HIV? It's notable that, over in Russia, Putin sounded the alarm that the USAF was taking biological samples from Russians claiming it was for genetic research. And, since then, it has emerged that in Ukraine a number of its many bioweapons laboratories were stationed near Russia's border, and Russia's space chief alleged that some of these weapons were intended to target specific ethnicity, and the reproductive capabilities females: Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: Shanghai Lockdown - Moskva Hit - Escalation in Ukraine?

Russia accuses Ukraine of hiding military losses

Moscow claims Kiev has lost 23,367 combatants combined from the army, national guard and foreign mercenaries

Ukraine has suffered the "irretrievable loss" of an estimated 23,367 troops since Russia launched its military offensive in February, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow stated on Saturday.

The casualty figures were revealed by Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov, who said that in the city of Mariupol alone Ukraine has lost more than 4,000 fighters, including "foreign mercenaries" and "Nazis" associated with the notorious Azov and Aidar regiments.

In a statement, the general accused President Volodymyr Zelensky of hiding the true scale of his country's losses, saying the president "is afraid to tell the people of Ukraine" how many soldiers have died.

Konashenkov explained that Russia has obtained documents proving the figures, and would soon publish more detailed information from these files.

Ukraine claims to have lost between 2,500 and 3,000 soldiers across its entire territory. This was the figure Zelensky gave to CNN in an interview on Friday, while claiming that the Russian military had suffered as many as 20,000 casualties of its own. Moscow heavily disputes Zelensky's claims. According to a count published by the Russian government last month, 1,351 had died, at that juncture.

Washington's geopolitical appetite has been growing

In recent days, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and State Department spokesperson Ned Price have expressed their views on when the Russia-Ukraine conflict might end. Sullivan said on Thursday that "fighting in Ukraine could go on for months or longer." Blinken and Price said that the clash could last through the end of 2022. There are indications showing that this is not so much a judgment by Washington as it is its real intent.

This prediction is an extension of seven months from previous ones that generally argued that the conflict would end in May. After the outbreak of the Ukraine crisis, almost all Washington's practices have been to push the war into a prolonged one, and all kinds of mobilization and "efforts" have been made to this end. This prediction of Washington's, in effect, is telling Ukraine to go ahead and "we support you." Ukraine has been extremely exploited as a pawn.

As the Russia-Ukraine conflict has lasted for more than 50 days, it became increasingly clear that "rescuing Ukraine" was just a "theater effect" that the US wanted to create ostensibly. Manipulating the pace and taking advantage of the chaos has been Washington's real purpose. The Pentagon on Wednesday hosted leaders of the top eight US weapons manufacturers to discuss faster production of weapons. The stocks of these military-industrial companies appear to be on the verge of another surge. The US military-industrial complex is the most direct and biggest beneficiary of the prolongation of the war. In addition, triggering maximum consumption to Russia, using the "Russia threat theory" to draw Europe to its side, and manipulating NATO to a greater extent are the "geopolitical dividends" tainted with blood that the US expects to gain from this war.

No risks supplying weapons to Ukraine claims German justice minister

Germany faces no risks under international law when it supplies arms to Ukraine amid Russia's ongoing military operation, German Justice Minister Marco Buschmann told Die Welt on Saturday.

Ukraine is fighting a "defensive war," the minister claimed, adding that it has a right to fight back under the UN Charter. This fact, according to Buschmann, allows other nations to send it weapons without fear of being seen as a party to the conflict.

"When it [Ukraine] exercises its legitimate right for self-defense, supporting with arms deliveries cannot lead [a nation] to becoming a party to war," Buschmann said, adding that it is not just his personal opinion but "that of the federal government."

Comment: The Justice Minister has made it clear that he's for the warmongers, however there seems to be fracturing amongst the establishment, because the Defense Minister was concerned that it would leave Germany without adequate supplies for itself, whilst the Chancellor warned that it would mean Germany was directly involved in the war.

Moskva sinking Shanghai lockdown newsreal

Shanghai has been under severe lockdown for three weeks for reasons the Chinese government says are entirely to do with enforcing its 'Zero Covid' policy of playing whack-a-mole with any and all expressions of 'Covid cases'. By their own admission, the city of 26 million people has just 25,000 'cases', mostly asymptomatic, and ZERO deaths. So why put the population under such duress 'to save lives'?

This week on NewsReal, Joe and Niall attempt to explain the real motive for Shanghai's harsh lockdown, discuss what (probably) really happened to the Russian Black Sea Fleet flagship the Moskva, ponder just how far the US and Russia are willing to escalate their proxy war in Ukraine, stand back in awe at the Western media's blaming of all the world's problems on Putin, and comment on the potential takeover of Twitter by 'based' billionaire Elon Musk.
