A new paper from esteemed scientists has proved, through their computer models, that an expanding earth, due to climate change, has dramatically increased the odds of an extraterrestrial strike.
As the world heats, it expands. It creates risk that increases exponential. Think of a shooting gallery whose pigeons are ever growing, or billiard where the object ball is expanding in front of your eyes. Big fish are easy to spear. One of the foremost threats comes from a phenomena known as the Taurid meteor stream, named after its radiant point in the constellation Taurus. A cloud of fragments, likely originating from the breakup of comet Encke, their orbit around the sun crosses Earth's path twice a year.
A. Tomic, University of Really, Really Average Climate Science and Phrenology
"The Taurids are the biggest threat, yes, but there are others, some of which aren't even identified yet." said an anonymous scientist, with knowledge of the matter, who requested anonymity out of fear of retribution from climate deniers.
"Look", she continued, "That heat causes expansion is a well established fact. It is settled science."
And the danger doesn't end there, there are secondary and tertiary risks.
"As the world expands, it places exceptional crustal stress on the planet. We talking an increase in volcanic activity, more earthquakes, tsunamis. We're talking about the end of the world as we know it. Fire and brimstone, crops devastated, forests on fire, emus and lamas living together. Everything we know and love will be gone, forever."The danger if very real, and it's happened before.
Will B. Knutso, Prestigious Professor Emeritus
"Yes, asteroidal bombardment is a real threat to the Earth. There is mounting evidence that the temperature drop, which was as extreme as 15OC in some parts of the world during the Younger Dryas, was the result of an extraterrestrial impact. It wiped out 75% of North America's megafauna. Short face, giant bears and camels, mammoths and four hundred pound, giant beavers, even the Clovis people, gone in geological instant." said Prag Matic, an amateur archaeologist, philosopher and stonemason.
"But any expansion caused by global warming is unlikely to amount to much." he continued.
Change has to come, say many, if not most.
You have been warned."If we continue to use fossil fuels, this is the predicable result. Our addiction will cost us our children's future, their children won't have a future."

Somehow our overlords are not the brightest otherwise they would really protect our planet Earth.
