Cover Cadre: What I saw leading up to the US Capitol attack

US Capitol crowd
© UnknownUS Capitol, January 6, 2021
The deadly riot at the US Capitol bore the markings of an organized operation planned well in advance of the January 6 joint session of Congress. A small number of cadre used the cover of a huge rally to stage its attack. Before it began, I saw from my vantage point on the West Front of the Capitol, what appeared to be four separate cells or units:
  1. Plainclothes militants. Militant, aggressive men in Trump and MAGA gear at a front police line at the base of the temporary presidential inaugural platform;
  2. Agents-provocateurs. Scattered groups of men exhorting the marchers to gather closely and tightly toward the center of the outside of the Capitol building and prevent them from leaving;
  3. Fake Trump protesters. A few young men wearing Trump or MAGA hats backwards and who did not fit in with the rest of the crowd in terms of their actions and demeanor, whom I presumed to be Antifa or other leftist agitators; and
  4. Disciplined, uniformed column of attackers. A column of organized, disciplined men, wearing similar but not identical camouflage uniforms and black gear, some with helmets and GoPro cameras or wearing subdued Punisher skull patches.
All of these cells or groups stood out from the very large crowd by their behavior and overall demeanor. However, they did not all appear at the same time. Not until the very end did it become apparent there was a prearranged plan to storm the Capitol building, and to manipulate the unsuspecting crowd as cover and as a follow-on force.

Comment: Another first hand account, by Wendi Strauch Mahoney, offered additional observations:
Interviews I conducted with two people who did not enter the building tell a different story of the day. Like myself, they recounted tales of people engaging in peaceful, first amendment protected demonstration. The vast majority in the crowd were conversing, singing, and praying. However, each of them also said that they saw evidence of agitators who were trying to gain access or upset people in the crowd.

Whitney Warr, a citizen who was there to show her support for President Trump, recalled one person yelling, "Come on! If you don't go in, you don't really care. Why don't you go in?!" She said they did not share the appearance of the Trump supporters who were peacefully standing outside. Many were dressed in black, covering their faces with bandanas or ski masks, and some even had gas masks — not in any way typical of how the average conservative dresses to demonstrate.

The most compelling evidence I found of the contrast between agitators and Trump supporters came from the first-hand account of LaVelle Banks. He was aware that agitators could be circulating in the crowd. At one point, he asked a few men to stop yelling and fighting. Mr. Banks' Twitter account has since been permanently suspended. He said that there were some in the crowd who "did not seem like patriots, were wearing helmets and goggles," saying that "isn't our way" and that people in the crowd were trying to stop them from going into the building. He said their "vibe was completely different." "At least 15 of the cops standing by the building were just taking video of the people breaking in, filming it and letting it happen."

Much of the video evidence from the 6th is also being scraped from the internet. One can argue that every person there participated in violence just by their mere presence. That seems to be the message the bulk of the media and cowardly politicians are trying to promote. I am not sure what it will take for all people to recognize the damage that has been wrought by censoring Americans with whom you disagree or not allowing an allegedly fraudulent election to be transparently investigated and heard. I think the message needs to be, however, be careful what you wish for.

Mass Hysteria and Covid-19: The numbers do not add up

England britain Nightingale hospital Sunderland

How is it possible that the USA has about 20 percent of the world's cases of Covid-19 and a similar share of deaths, but just 4.2-percent of the world's population?

In very compliant and obedient states, like California, with the first city shut down in the country (San Francisco), and constant stay-at-home orders and lockdowns, things are worse than ever. Why?

Current reporting now says that it is worse all over the country as 2021 unfolds. How are we the worst in the world? We have not done less precautions than in the EU or South America, Asia or Africa. In fact, we've done more. More masks, more lockdowns.

Comment: There could be a number of other factors contributing to the warped data, including the ability and determination by governments to test en masse (to create the numbers they need to foment the hysteria), the faulty PCR tests themselves and how they're utilized, as well as the government's own deliberate manipulation of the numbers.

Regarding the reasons for the media's complicity in twisting the facts, surely a significant number are hystericized, but it's also clear that vast swathes of the establishment are ponerized and are working towards a nefarious agenda, and it just so happens that using the manufactured crisis as cover looks to be achieving those ends.

CNN's Cuomo rages as his own words supporting BLM riots come back to bite him

Chris Cuomo
© CNN.com/ScreenshotCNN's Chris Cuomo
Confronted over his condemnation of last week's riot at the US Capitol, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo has struggled to excuse his seemingly hypocritical endorsement of less-than-peaceful protest tactics by Black Lives Matter in June.

A little over six months ago, Cuomo savaged commentators who dared voice their disapproval for the large-scale property destruction and physical attacks perpetrated by groups of Black Lives Matter rioters. "Please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful" in the Constitution, the news anchor sneered on air.

After last week's unrest at the Capitol, however, Cuomo - the younger brother of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo - explicitly condemned the unruly pro-Trump demonstration, calling out "those who stoked these flames" for "feeding lies" and "moving people" to violence.

After months of bashing Russia's vaccine, Western journalists in Moscow line up for Sputnik V

Since Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the registration of Sputnik V, the world's first vaccine against Covid-19, sections of the Western media have taken aim at a formula they've dubbed both dangerous and ineffective.

However, in recent weeks, Moscow-based representatives of the very same outlets have lined up to receive the much-maligned Sputnik V. Living in Russia, it is no surprise that the correspondents have a much more realistic view of the country than their New York and London-based superiors.

On Friday, the New York Times' Andrew Kramer revealed he had received his first dose of Sputnik V, praising the "bona fide accomplishment for Russian scientists continuing a long and storied practice of vaccine development," even noting that Moscow has avoided some of the logistical problems seen in the West.

Comment: Despite Russia's vaccine having more thorough testing and not being based on the experimental, unproven and potentially dangerous mRNA gene-editing, it's worth remembering that for the vast majority of people no vaccine is needed - and polls from France, Austria, and Russia, show that over half of the population don't want one. Moreover, allowing the harmless virus to spread through the population would lead to herd immunity.

Google admits to running 'experiments' which remove some media sites from its search results

google offices
© Spencer Platt/Getty ImagesGoogle has sought to downplay the significance of the move by noting the company conducts ‘tens of thousands of experiments in Google Search’ every year.
The tech giant says it is 'running a few experiments that will each reach about 1% of Google Search users in Australia'.

Google has been hiding some Australian news sites from search results, in a move media outlets say is a show of "extraordinary power" as the tech company bargains with the Australian government over financial payment for content.

The Australian government is attempting to impose a new code on Google and Facebook that would force them to negotiate a fair price for displaying local news content.

Georgia man 'kills himself' after being charged with 'breaking curfew' following attendance at Capitol Hill protest

Christopher Stanton Georgia

A Georgia man arrested at the violent Capitol Hill siege in Washington DC last week has died, police confirmed Monday.

Christopher Stanton Georgia, 53, shot himself dead at his home in Alpharetta on Saturday. He was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and died by suicide, the Fulton County Medical Examiner said.

Documents obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com show Georgia's wife called 911 on Saturday morning, telling authorities there was 'blood everywhere'. His body was found in the basement of the home they share.

Family members on the scene were described by police as 'extremely distressed' in a police report.

Officers also removed two semi-automatic SKS rifles from Georgia's home, the department said.

According to documents from the Superior Court of DC, Georgia had been charged with attempting to 'enter certain property, that is, the United States Capitol Grounds, against the will of the United States Capitol Police.'

Comment: Suicides on both 'sides', law enforcement on both 'sides', and military on both 'sides'.

The 'Capitol Hill riot' could yet be symptomatic of a serious nationwide fracture developing in the US.

SOTT Focus: Giuliani Presents Evidence - From Their Own Words - That Antifa & BLM Rioters Were at 'Insurrection' on Capitol Hill

John Earle Sullivan BLM Antifa Capitol Hill attack
© Andy Ngo/TwitterOne of the men who was part of the siege of the Capitol building is John Earle Sullivan, an extreme BLM activist from Utah.
Footage shot by self-proclaimed 'professional rioter' John Sullivan, and presented by Rudy Giuliani, is damning evidence of the pre-planned nature of the attack on the Capitol Building. In the video, Sullivan is shown in earlier uploads showing off his 'Black Bloc' tactical gear for wearing to riots, along with his assault weapons. Sullivan, on his own social media accounts, called for fellow activists to marshal in DC on January 6th to 'kick out the fascists' - namely, Trump supporters attending the Stop The Steal rally outside the White House.

In clips of the actual event, he is heard encouraging fellow thugs to set fire to the building. Sullivan was also (magically) the person who was right on the spot to film the murder of Ashli Babbit.

Comment: Here's another thing to consider: the trouble at the Capitol started before Trump's speech (which took place 45 minutes' walk away from the Capitol):

Rush to judgement? Three crucial questions remain unanswered about Capitol siege

storming of the capitol building
What did Nancy Pelosi know? A prior plot or spontaneous riot? Were there inside facilitators?

One thing recent history has taught America is the first storyline of major tragedies or controversies is never the most accurate.

Americans were told by the Bush administration that they were sucker-punched by a surprise attack on 9/11 by terrorists, only to learn the CIA and FBI had significant advance evidence of the plot and its players and failed to connect the dots.

Susan Rice originally told the nation that the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was carried out spontaneously by a mob angered by an anti-Muslim video. The attack, it turned out, was pre-planned and carried out by an al-Qaeda-aligned terror group in Libya.

Comment: This isn't the first piece to suggest there was pre-planning and inside help on the Capitol siege. The more things get investigated, the more it looks like this wasn't simply the work of some bumbling Trump supporters who went too far.

'You can't just spew disinformation and misinformation,' Ocasio-Cortez says

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that Congress is "looking into" media literacy initiatives to help "rein in" the press to combat misinformation in the wake of last week's deadly breach of the U.S. Capitol.

During a lengthy live stream on Instagram on Tuesday night, the leader of the so-called "Squad" discussed the aftermath of the Capitol riot, how she feared for her life during the chaos and what needs to be done going forward.

Ocasio-Cortez says she thought she 'was going to die' in 'close encounter' during Capitol rioting
Dominick Mastrangelo - 01/13/21 07:46 AM EST

...

A mob of angry Trump supporters stormed the Capitol as a joint session of Congress met to certify President-elect Joe Biden's Electoral College victory.

The breach sent lawmakers into hiding and forced the proceedings to adjourn for several hours before police could clear the building. Federal law enforcement officials have said they believe the riots were organized online by far-right extremist groups with a goal among some of them of capturing or killing leading lawmakers.

Several of the demonstrators were seen in the Capitol carrying zip tie restraints, which are sometimes used instead of handcuffs.

House Democrats have introduced a single article of impeachment against Trump in the wake of the riot, accusing him of "inciting insurrection" and riling his supporters to commit acts of violence against them.

During a speech just hours before the riot began, Trump urged his supporters to march on Congress and display "strength" as they protested the Electoral College certification process.

Ocasio-Cortez was one of the first House members to call for Trump's impeachment following the incident last week, also attacking Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) for contesting the election's result.

"I don't want to see the Republican Party talk about blue lives ever again," Ocasio-Cortez said in reference to the death of a Capitol Police officer as a result of the rioting. "This was never about safety for them. It was always a slogan. Because if they actually care about the rule of law they would speak up when people break the law."
And this from RT adds an interesting bit of info into the mix:
Congresswoman claims office 'panic buttons' removed before Capitol riot as Dems demand investigation into 'suspicious activitity'
13 Jan, 2021 22:11

Staff for Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Massachusetts) is claiming there is an investigation into office "panic buttons" being removed before the US Capitol riot while other Democrats are demanding a probe into "suspicious activity."

Democrats are leading the charge into conspiracy theories surrounding the siege of the US Capitol by supporters of President Donald Trump last week, with multiple claims that more could have been involved in the riot.

Pressley's chief of staff, Sarah Groh, has gained the attention of many social media users thanks to a Boston Globe interview this week where she alleged that panic buttons from the congresswoman's office had been removed without explanation or warning from her office, something she and Pressley discovered on the day of the riot.

"Every panic button in my office had been torn out — the whole unit," Groh said, adding that she and other staff had previously used the duress buttons and they had been regularly tested.

A spokesperson for Pressley said in a Wednesday statement that the issue is currently being investigated and new panic buttons were installed in the office the day after the protest.

The House sergeant-at-arms and Capitol Police have not publicly addressed the matter, but it is just one of multiple details Democrats are saying needs to be looked into.

Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-New Jersey) led over 30 members of Congress in signing a letter demanding an investigation from the Acting House Sergeant at Arms, Acting Senate Sergeant at Arms, and United States Capitol Police into "suspicious activity" the day prior to events at the Capitol.

Sherrill claims that lawmakers helped run "reconnaissance" of the Capitol the day before the protest through public tours. She did not specifically name the lawmakers she was accusing.

"Many of the Members who signed this letter, including those of us who have served in the military and are trained to recognize suspicious activity, as well as various members of our staff, witnessed an extremely high number of outside groups in the complex on Tuesday, January 5," she and others wrote in their letter demanding an investigation.

They claim such access to the Capitol was "unusual" since the area has been restricted and public tours were canceled in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The tours being conducted on Tuesday, January 5, were a noticeable and concerning departure from the procedures in place as of March 2020 that limited the number of visitors to the Capitol. These tours were so concerning that they were reported to the Sergeant at Arms on January 5," they said.

They claim those who stormed the Capitol had "unusually detailed knowledge of the layout" of the complex.

Sherill promised in a Facebook Live video that she will hold lawmakers who allegedly gave access to the Capitol to protesters "accountable."

Sherill's accusations follow Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) claiming she did not feel safe around other members of Congress during the riot.

"There were QAnon and white-supremacist sympathizers and, frankly, white-supremacist members of Congress in that extraction point who I know and who I have felt would disclose my location and would create opportunities to allow me to be hurt, kidnapped, et cetera," she said, not identifying exactly whom she was referring to.
