Durham University introduces Covid status certificates

Student near window
A reader has been in touch to tell us that a Covid certification scheme has been introduced at Durham University, where her son is a first-year student. As she asks, is this even legal?

Elder son, First Year student at Durham University, returned on Sunday for summer term. He has been told he needs to do two lateral flow tests per week and must have a negative email confirmation on his phone in order to do "any university activity". This means that if he wants to participate in the life of the university, as opposed to stay cooped up in his tiny dorm room 24/7, Covid testing is mandatory.

Comment: As time goes by, Covid certificates look to become mandatory for many everyday activities. The University of Durham is just one of the institutions that accepted these pseudo-science- and fascistic measures. They are literally blackmailing people to become more obedient.

People are forced to accept vaccines that are more dangerous than the virus itself and to regularly take inconvenient testing so they could allegedly continue with their normal lives and put the end to the "pandemic."

Living with constant high-level stress from this "new normal" is destroying people's lives and health, speeding up the decline of society as a whole.

Best of the Web: Deleting the reset: The imminent struggle ahead

klaus schwab
A while ago, I wrote an article explaining my journey of learning towards the Great Reset agenda.

I said that I thought this horror-show would continue for some time, but ultimately it would fail, but at great cost to our society and to all of us.

More recently I've been researching information about the new 'vaccines' and like others, now seriously wonder if this is part of something even more sinister threatening our very existence.

For relief from the madness and heavy-reading of the scientific studies, I watch a lot of Ivor Cummins', Dr Mike Yeadon's, and Dr Sucharit Bhakdi's online presentations which are professional, clear and powerful. Dr Bhakdi's recent interview here is brilliant, yet the most terrifying I've watched concerning the vaccines.

There are some experts out there with real passion, intelligence and an amazing ability to cut through the complexities. We should all be grateful to have such brave people setting out the facts.

Live streamer Steven "Destiny" Bonnell was banned from Twitch. The reason? A photo of Hunter Biden. Destiny wasn't the one who showed the image, but his guest did. The image was one taken from the infamous Hunter Biden laptop, obtained by the New York Post, and then shared.

America has a problem with poorly trained police officers, not 'systemic racism'

police officer
In what just might be the most misguided attempt at 'utopian' living ever conceived, progressive Democrats continue to demand the defunding and disbanding of police forces in cities around the country. Yet, like a doctor that has made the wrong diagnosis on a patient, such a radical idea will not bring peace and security to America's ailing neighborhoods. In fact, it will make them virtually unlivable.

The United States desperately needs a national debate on the root causes of police violence, which the political left has prematurely and wrongly attributed to "systemic racism." Missing from the bigger picture are questions pertaining to economic hardship, broken homes, drug abuse and street gangs - and perhaps most importantly of all, poorly trained police - as just a few of the contributing factors that have placed law enforcement between a rock and a hard place.

For every Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged in the murder of George Floyd, there are dozens of cops like Nicholas Reardon, who was forced to make a split-second decision after a Black girl, Ma'Khia Bryant, 16, attempted to stab another teenager. Reardon, who shot and killed Bryant, has found himself something of a celebrity not for potentially saving the life of a young girl, but for being the fresh face of "white supremacy."

NBA star Lebron James led the charge against the cop when he unconscionably tweeted to his 46.5 followers a photograph of Nicholas Reardon with the caption, "YOU'RE NEXT, beside the emoji of an hourglass. Some people may consider that a threat.

What will we lose?

closed playground lockdown
What have we lost? What are we losing? What will we lose?

This is the question is it not? Even though tens of thousands of experts, thousands of skeptics and all of the rest of us have been consumed over the last year debating, questioning, arguing and worst of all, just listening to endless stream of covid coverage it really comes down to this.

After sifting through all of the science-sourced "facts", claims, death statistics, cases updates (so many, many cases) and the dire, ever grim projections from our modern-day high priests with their computer models it really just comes down to this question.

What will we lose?

For many reasons I am reluctant to write about this subject. I know nothing of epidemiology or virology or public health. I really have no business writing about loss due to covid 19, my profession is in high demand for the moment, my wife is gainfully employed and recently promoted and our living situation is quite good.

I will not dare pretend that I can speak about real hardship or suffering due to covid compared to what small business owners would be going through or what the working poor have had to endure but at the same time, only a complete fool would suggest that they have not lost anything in the past year.

Joe Rogan is being attacked by Fauci & the White House for daring to have an honest discussion about Covid-19 vaccines

White House health adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci and communications director Kate Bedingfield have made a point of belittling and attacking podcaster Joe Rogan for daring to have a mixed opinion on Covid-19 vaccines.

As Rogan has skyrocketed over the years to arguably the most influential and successful podcaster around, he has also turned into an intensely controversial figure, mainly for liberals who fear his willingness to give a platform to right-wing figures like Alex Jones and his less-than-PC takes on everything from transgender athletes to Covid-19 vaccines.

The latter is what landed the former 'Fear Factor' host in the hot seat this week as a clip from a recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' made its way across social media and critics painted Rogan as an anti-vaxxer spreading disinformation.

The controversy stems from Rogan saying, during a conversation with fellow comic Dave Smith, he would not recommend that a healthy person in their early 20s get a Covid-19 vaccine as they are not as vulnerable to the virus as older generations (who account for the majority of Covid deaths in the US) and people with preexisting medical conditions.

UK primary school bans 'sexist' phrases like 'man up' and 'boys and girls'

A PRIMARY school has banned a string of phrases like "man up" and "good morning boys and girls" over fears they are sexist.

Sarah Hewitt Clarkson, from Anderton Park Primary, in Sparkhill, Birmingham, has claimed the phrase "good morning everyone" should be used instead of "boys and girls" because it does not create a gender divide and includes those people who might not identify as either sex.

The move has sparked heated debate - with some branding the decision "ridiculous".

A friend of mine who knows about my secret double life as a woke whistleblower for The Spectator asked me the other day how I became so right-wing. I answered that it wasn't me that changed, it was the left. I still have the same political opinions I always had, but my woke friends all seem to have gone completely nuts — or 'retarded' as we used to call it. I apologize to anyone offended by that joke. I'm not making fun of people with mental disabilities. I'm making fun of Wokies who tend to go completely spastic at the tiniest little thing.

A nation no longer divided? How Russians are increasingly remembering, rather than erasing, the country's bloody Civil War history

russian civil war monument
© Sputnik / Max VetrovSolemn ceremony of unveiling a monument in honor of the 100th anniversary of the end of the Civil War in Sevastopol.
The Russian state is often accused of encouraging Soviet nostalgia. A new monument in Sevastopol reveals a more complex reality - an attempt to reconcile the contradictory elements of Russia's past into a single coherent whole.

It is said that modern Russia is a conservative country, but that begs the question - what are Russians trying to conserve? The basic principle of conservatism is that a society should develop in accordance with its own traditions. But in the past 105 years, Russia has twice experienced radical breaks with its past which have thoroughly destroyed its established traditions. Does conservatism mean returning to the pre-revolutionary Russian Empire and the old Tsarist slogan of 'Orthodoxy, Autocracy, and Nationality'? Or does it mean preserving the values of Soviet communism?

Which is the true Russia? Red or White?

The monument in Crimea's famed naval city attempts to bring an end to the century-old conflict between Red and White, recognizing both as patriots who sought to better their country, albeit by different means. Despite their opposing views, it declares, they were both sons of Mother Russia, who should now be reconciled and reunited as one single family.

Entitled the Monument to the Victims of the Civil War, the new sculpture commemorates all those who died in the Russian Civil War between 1917 and 1921. The choice of Sevastopol as a location reflects the fact that it was there in November 1920 that the last major White Army abandoned the struggle and fled Russia, embarking on a fleet of ships and sailing across the Black Sea into exile.

'Drunk driver', 32, who said 'f**k the police' in podcast just hours before killing cop in hit-and-run faces 15 years in jail

Tsakos Beauvais
Investigators survey the vehicle that struck and killed New York City Police Department Officer Anastasios Tsakos
A suspected drunk driver who streamed herself on Facebook Live saying 'f**k the police' while downing shots hours before she killed a veteran cop in a hit-and-run in New York City boasted about carrying a knife 'everywhere I go', it has been revealed.

Jessica Beauvais, 32, posted a 1 hour and 51 minute livestream on her Facebook page Monday evening as part of her Face the Reality radio show where she addressed the trial of white ex-cop Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd, slammed police officers and the justice system and played N.W.A song 'F**k Tha Police'.

In the rambling post, she told her social media followers she likes guns because 'they're pretty' and ranted about being pro capital punishment, while she said 'potential death' is just 'part of the job' for cops.

Throughout the video, Beauvais is seen vaping and drinking an unknown dark liquid from a plastic cup and, at one point, washes down the contents of a red shot glass with a bottle of Snapple. Police sources claim she later confessed to guzzling vodka, wine and smoking weed before the deadly incident.

Comment: People are being herded into accepting life-destroying ideologies that are untethered from reality. We cannot know for sure if Beauvais intentionally hit and killed Officer Tsakos, but it's not a leap to see how at the very least how her anti-police rant fueled her to act recklessly and without regard to human life. It would also not be too much of a leap that her crime was intentional given her statements and her intoxicated state.
