Tyranny at the hands of a psychopathic governments

"Politicians are more likely than people in the general population to be sociopaths. I think you would find no expert in the field of sociopathy/psychopathy/antisocial personality disorder who would dispute this... That a small minority of human beings literally have no conscience was and is a bitter pill for our society to swallow — but it does explain a great many things, shamelessly deceitful political behavior being one." — Dr. Martha Stout, clinical psychologist and former instructor at Harvard Medical School

Twenty years ago, a newspaper headline asked the question: "What's the difference between a politician and a psychopath?"

The answer, then and now, remains the same: None.

There is no difference between psychopaths and politicians.

Nor is there much of a difference between the havoc wreaked on innocent lives by uncaring, unfeeling, selfish, irresponsible, parasitic criminals and elected officials who lie to their constituents, trade political favors for campaign contributions, turn a blind eye to the wishes of the electorate, cheat taxpayers out of hard-earned dollars, favor the corporate elite, entrench the military industrial complex, and spare little thought for the impact their thoughtless actions and hastily passed legislation might have on defenseless citizens.

Psychopaths and politicians both have a tendency to be selfish, callous, remorseless users of others, irresponsible, pathological liars, glib, con artists, lacking in remorse and shallow.

Charismatic politicians, like criminal psychopaths, exhibit a failure to accept responsibility for their actions, have a high sense of self-worth, are chronically unstable, have socially deviant lifestyles, need constant stimulation, have parasitic lifestyles and possess unrealistic goals.

It doesn't matter whether you're talking about Democrats or Republicans.

Political psychopaths are all largely cut from the same pathological cloth, brimming with seemingly easy charm and boasting calculating minds. Such leaders eventually create pathocracies: totalitarian societies bent on power, control, and destruction of both freedom in general and those who exercise their freedoms.

Rudy Giuliani, one of President Trump's private attorneys, has reported to Delaware police concerns that materials on a laptop purportedly tied to Hunter Biden contained evidence of possible child endangerment.

Giuliani, a former U.S. attorney and New York City mayor, confirmed Tuesday night he went Monday to a local police department in Wilmington to report his concerns of children endangerment and sexual exploitation. Giuliani told Just the News that former New York Police Department commissioner Bernard Kerik joined him when he delivered photographs and text messages to the New Castle County Police Department.

Biden surrogate does a tail spin while failing to address Hunter Biden's emails

Jenna Arnold

During a Sunday interview on Fox News, Biden campaign surrogate Jenna Arnold attempted to spin the New York Post's stories about Hunter Biden selling the Ukrainians access to his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden. According to Arnold, the emails are "unconfirmed" yet she failed to say whether or not they were actually Hunter's.

She said she appreciated the Trump campaign being pressed on the issue "that so much of this is unconfirmed."

"Jenna, it's real simple. You're saying it's unconfirmed. Tell us what parts are not true," Vittert hit back. "Hunter Biden knows what emails he has and hasn't sent. Are you saying, and the campaign saying, these emails aren't his?"

Europeans urged to take responsibility, make sacrifice to overcome virus

european parliament
Leaders and experts in Europe are calling on citizens to take responsibility and make sacrifice so as to help contain a record increase of new coronavirus cases in many European countries.

As coronavirus continues sweeping across the world, the human cost keeps mounting. Globally, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has topped 40 million, with more than 1.1 million people known to have died of the disease, according to Tuesday's figures from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Comment: Johnson is lying through his teeth - we know that the elite's are rubbing their hands with glee with each new restriction they foist upon the populace. And blaming individuals for the spread, because they might have removed their mask to breathe or gave grandma a hug, is just plain evil.

China - the only major economy on Earth to grow in 2020 - is now the world's largest

This week, the IMF presented its 2020 World Economic Outlook providing an overview of the global economy and the challenges ahead. The most inconvenient fact in the Report is one Americans don't want to hear — and even when they read it, refuse to accept: China has now displaced the U.S. to become the largest economy in the world. Measured by the more refined yardstick that both the IMF and CIA now judge to be the single best metric for comparing national economies, the IMF Report shows that China's economy is one-sixth larger than America's ($24.2 trillion versus the U.S.'s $20.8 trillion).

Despite this unambiguous statement from the two most authoritative sources, most of the mainstream press — with the exception of The Economist — continue reporting that the U.S. economy is No. 1. So, what's going on?

Emails and business correspondence from Hunter Biden's associate Devon Archer have been provided to OANN, and show that Archer was engaged in investing funds on behalf of the wife of Moscow's former mayor at a time when there were ongoing sanctions against Russia.

The minutes of a Board of Trustees meeting for an investment company from August 2014 show that Archer's investment company was the recipient of $200 million from Yelena Baturina, who was a billionaire who was married to the late Yury Luzhkov, who was mayor of Moscow until 2010.

US finally enters into START treaty negotiations with Russia, both agree to freeze warhead totals and extend nuclear pact by 1 year

warhead
The last U.S.-Russia strategic nuclear arms control pact gained momentum toward a one-year extension on Tuesday as Washington welcomed a proposal by Moscow to prolong it if both sides agreed to freeze their stocks of all nuclear warheads for that period.

Some experts, however, said major questions would have to be resolved to strike a deal and voiced concern that U.S. President Donald Trump's interest was motivated by a desire for a foreign policy achievement before the Nov. 3 U.S. election.

The step toward an agreement, after months of difficult talks, appeared to narrow the gap over the fate of the 2010 New START treaty, which is due to expire on Feb. 5, 2021.

Philippines' President Duterte says he takes responsibility for deaths during war on drugs since government crackdown

Duterte

Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte has said he has no problem with being held responsible for the thousands of killings under his government's war on drugs, adding that he was ready to face charges that could land him in jail, though not charges of crimes against humanity.

The president's televised remarks on Monday night were among his clearest acknowledgement of the prospects that he could face a deluge of criminal charges for the bloody campaign he launched after taking office in mid-2016.

The killing of nearly 6,000 drug suspects have been reported by police but rights watchdogs suspect the death toll is far higher.

SOTT Focus: Three Steps to Attaining High Administrative Positions During the Pandemic

nursing home ontario huyer covid-19 lockdown
During this era of COVID-19 and the 'Great Reset,' administrative officials' clout has rapidly out-paced that of the judicial and legislative branches of government.

And yet there are just three steps to reaching the highest of these unelected and largely unaccountable positions.

I outline the steps below, focusing on one such official, Dr. Dirk Huyer, Chief Coroner for Ontario, Canada.

I've written about Huyer before, in this article and in this one.

Chief pathologists' positions are pivotal because they can either help or hinder the detection of patterns of murder, foul play or deadly malfeasance, particularly those targeting the most vulnerable such as institutionalized elderly. And as detailed in this article, Huyer appears to have done more of the latter than the former.

Then in late May he was rewarded by being appointed by Ontario's premier to head the testing for the novel coronavirus in the province. And on August 26 his was vaulted into the position of head of Ontario's COVID-19 outbreak response.

The jarring juxtaposition of Huyer's being both chief coroner and being appointed to these positions despite having neither expertise in public health nor independence from the premier or other branches of government underlines that the key to the Three Steps is aligning with the interests of the powerful rather than those of the general populace.
