President Donald Trump has not conceded the election to Joe Biden as of Sunday morning - but his tweet claiming Biden has "won" the contest by fraud was immediately taken by the mainstream media as an admission of defeat.
"He won because the Election was Rigged," Trump said of Biden on Sunday morning, in his latest tweet pointing to allegations of voter fraud. The president then blamed Biden's apparent win on "NO VOTE WATCHERS OR OBSERVERS allowed, vote tabulated by a Radical Left privately owned company," as well as "the Fake & Silent Media, & more!"
The Trump campaign is currently challenging the results of this month's election in court, with lawsuits in multiple states alleging fraud and illegal voting. Though Biden has claimed victory and pressed ahead as president-elect,
Trump has not conceded, and has demanded that "every legal vote" be counted.Still, his description of Biden as having "won" the election was enough for the mainstream media to roll with. Sky News immediately declared that Trump "appeared to concede the US election for the first time."
Comment: Top Biden aide Ron Klein
says the federal government "needs" to sign off on his team's transition "this week", so they can begin receiving national security briefings and "address Covid." Sorry guys, you can't steal an election THAT easily.
Swamp moustache Bolton
appeared on ABC telling GOP leaders that they need to "explain" to voters that Trump lost. A) They don't. B) He didn't. Bolton said the election fraud claims are "baseless." Turns out he has examined all the ballots, audited the voting machine software, and interviewed all the dead voters, and found nothing wrong. Oh wait, he didn't do that. So maybe he can politely explain to himself that he's an idiot, a liar, and a warmonger. Here's Trump's reply:
QED.
Comment: The MSM continues its full-court press for Biden. Sad, actually.
