As a social worker known for her expertise when handling high-stress conflict management cases, Angela Loerzel Swafford figured she'd navigate her own concerns when it came to addressing her employers' vaccination mandate last fall.

And she definitely had concerns.

Like many hospitals and health systems across the nation during that time, the hospital where the 46-year-old was and is still employed required their health workers to get the jab. But Swafford suffers from a venous malformation, a condition where veins in the body develop in an unusual way. Because the abnormality can increase the risk of developing blood clots and deep vein thrombosis, she was hesitant about getting the COVID jab.

The excess deaths crisis continues, with 1,232 excess deaths - 12.3% above the five-year average - registered in England and Wales in the week ending October 28th, according to the ONS. Of these, 804 were attributed to an underlying cause other than COVID-19, bringing the total excess non-Covid deaths since the wave began in April to 23,287.

I have previously noted what appeared to be a correlation of excess non-Covid deaths with the rollout of the spring vaccine booster in April and May.

Professor Johan Giesecke, who first recruited Tegnell during his own time as state epidemiologist, used a rare interview last week to argue that the Swedish people would respond better to more sensible measures. He blasted the sort of lockdowns imposed in Britain and Australia and warned a second wave would be inevitable once the measures are eased.

"The Swedish Government decided early in January that the measures we should take against the pandemic should be evidence based. And when you start looking around at the measures being taken by different countries, you find very few of them have a shred of evidence-base," he said.

Giesecke, who has served as the first Chief Scientist of the European Centre for Disease Control and has been advising the Swedish Government during the pandemic, told the UnHerd website there was "almost no science" behind border closures and school closures and social distancing and said he looked forward to reviewing the course of the disease in a year's time.

"I think that the difference between countries will be quite small in the end," he said. "I don't think you can stop it. It's spreading. It will roll over Europe no matter what you do." — Stuff, April 22, 2020

Giesecke was almost correct. But, the difference between the countries in the end was not quite small. Sweden did much, much better - ten times better than Chile, in fact, notorious for having the strictest lockdowns 'despite' also having one of the most 'successful' vaccination campaigns.

As of reporting date June 19th 2022, of all the countries analysed by the OECD, Sweden has the lowest overall cumulative excess deaths tally.

Guidance documents given to Canada's providers of medically assisted death say that doctors must bring up medical assistance in dying (MAID) as an option when it's "medically relevant" and if the person is likely eligible, as part of a doctor's duty to provide informed consent.

The National Post reports that most jurisdictions in the world with legalized MAID prevent doctors from raising the practice with patients.

In Canada, there are no legal restrictions on who can bring up MAID. Some ethicists say that doctors introducing death as a treatment without having the patient having asked about it is a serious issue, especially as MAID expands in Canada to allow a wider array of people, with fears that some may be influenced into having their life ended, "Given the power dynamic of the doctor-patient relationship."

Most recently Dr. Thorp has focused his research efforts on the COVID-19 pandemic and published several peer-reviewed scientific publications documenting the dangers of the vaccine in women of reproductive age and in pregnancy. His publications conclusively demonstrate that the COVID-19 "vaccination" experiment has been one of the greatest disasters in the history of medicine. Dr Thorp has clearly shown the mass death from COVID-19 pandemic that would have been prevented had the healthcare system and governmental agencies NOT prevented the widespread support of early and safe treatments proven successful by multiple experts around the world.

A new peer reviewed article in the journal Vaccine has been published comparing surveys data on attitudes to vaccination from before the pandemic with attitudes now.

The authors report that "paradoxically, despite the success of COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, vaccine confidence has significantly declined since the onset of the pandemic".

I am not quite sure why the authors appear so surprised at their result but a clue can be found in their use of the word "despite". In many countries the "success" of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign relied in large part in pressuring, bullying and sometimes coercing people to get vaccinated.

A few days ago, I came across Dr. Viki Male, qualified with a science PhD in pathology rather than a medical degree, who lectures in reproductive immunology at Imperial College London. Dr. Male, cocooned in a white coat to provide the necessary medical gravitas, was the star of an NHS video promoting COVID-19 'vaccinations' (more properly experimental gene-based therapies) to pregnant mothers.

According to mainstream media, hospitalizations for respiratory infections are on the rise and "experts" warn of a potential "tripledemic" this winter, as people contract COVID,¹ seasonal influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).²

"The CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] reports a 1% increase in new admissions of patients with confirmed COVID-19 in the U.S.," Yahoo! News reported at the end of October 2022.³

Far from being a pandemic of the unvaccinated, however, most COVID patients are now, in fact, fully jabbed. As noted by Yahoo! News (before urging everyone to stay up to date on their boosters):

"The state with the most COVID hospitalizations is Maine even though it has one of the country's highest full vaccination rates, which means a person has received their primary series of vaccinations (whether that's one or two doses) and two weeks have passed since their last dose."

According to Section 53 of the Adult Support & Protection (Scotland) Act 2007: "Harm includes all harmful conduct and in particular, includes, conduct which causes physical harm and conduct which causes psychological harm (for example: by causing fear, alarm or distress)."

On November 2nd 2022, the Daily Sceptic published my article which set out the steps leading to the removal of routine mask-wearing in social care settings in Scotland. The Daily Sceptic titled the article, "Scottish Government finally admits that mask-wearing is harmful." The article has been shared thousands of times on social media, attracting the attention of fact-checkers who asserted that the Government did not deem masks were harmful. A Scottish Government spokesperson told fact-checkers at Reuters that the article was a "gross distortion of what the Government has said". He or she also stated that the guidance was "relaxed in line with the latest clinical advice after a sharp drop in infections and a reduction of severity of illness".

Clinical advice most likely played a part, but the guidance was updated on September 7th in direct response to the recommendations made at the round table meeting on August 16th, which I attended, where stakeholders met with key Government officials. Harms caused by mask-wearing to both users and providers of social care were clearly identified in a position statement which was shared with Government ministers in advance of the guidance being updated and published. We discussed and agreed on physical harms resulting from the detrimental impact of masks on quality of care and provision of person centred care, especially for those in the advanced stages of dementia. We also shared grave concerns in relation to psychological harms, mainly distress, caused to those with cognitive and sensory impairments.
