Seven ways America is being destroyed

Stephen Moore
Stephen Moore, the senior economist at FreedomWorks and former senior economic advisor to President Donald Trump, gave a half-hour keynote speech at the Freedom Festival Banquet held at the Rusty Rudder restaurant on Oct. 7, in Dewey Beach, Delaware. The event was organized by the Delaware Republican Party. During his speech, Moore listed seven ways in which he believes the United States is being destroyed.

With approximately 100 FreedomWorks supporters in attendance, Moore said, "Let me be serious about what's going on in this country." Moore then said that it does not matter whether or not the Biden administration is intentionally trying to destroy our country, and then he listed seven strategies that could destroy a country, which he sees the White House implementing.

'The first thing you would do is you would destroy its finances.'

"You borrow and spend like crazy until the country was on the verge of bankruptcy. President Joe Biden has done that. In 20 months, this president has spent $4.2 trillion. Now, these numbers are incomprehensibly large.

"So he's wrecked the nation's finances. We're going to be spending decades — your children, my children, your children, our grandchildren, are going to be paying for what Joe Biden has done. It's shameful. And we need to run every single person who wrote it, voted for these policies, out of town. We have to get rid of the people who made this."

More Britons than ever are out of work due to long-term sickness

unemployment line uk
Some nine million working-age people are out of work and are not looking for it either. Figures released by the Office for National Statistics this morning reveal this number has grown by 630,000 since before the pandemic began. This is an increase from the previous quarter and from the same time last year too. Now over a fifth of working age people find themselves economically inactive.

Rising inactivity has been driven by long-term sickness since the pandemic. Today's figures reveal those inactive due to illness hit a record high of two and a half million people. There's debate around what's causing this with some pointing to long Covid, the state of the NHS and poor mental health.

Comment: There's clear evidence that the experimental covid jabs, which over 92.9% of the population took (either voluntarily or via coercive measures), has had a variety of detrimental effects of people's health; including, but not limited to, those who 'died suddenly' of heart and clotting related issues, as well as those who suffered multiple and repeated infections of covid, along with other viruses, as well those whose immune systems were severely compromised. Taken together, along with the deadly disruption caused by the lockdowns, and it's becoming irrefutable that the response to covid will harm a great many more people than the virus itself.

Free speech, Jacinda Ardern and the tyranny of 'kindness'

jacinda world
Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand's prime minister, grabbed the global limelight a few years ago, making headlines by stating she wanted to put "kindness" into politics. In 2019, Foreign Policy, a publication closely associated with the Atlantic Council and the US State Department, published the article 'The Kindness Quotient', a glowing promotion of Ardern.

The strategic marketing of Ardern in various publications has focused on her likeability, pro-environment stance, compassionate values and collaborative nature. To further appeal to liberal sentiments, she was said to represent everything Trump is not.

Ardern belongs to a set of global leaders who were groomed for their positions through the World Economic Forum (WEF) Young Global Leaders programme. Yes, that WEF - the elitist organisation where hard-nose billionaires and their handmaidens gather to set out policies aligned with powerful business interests.

The charm offensive that Ardern's promoters undertook was an investment. She delivered on COVID and is now expected to sell more questionable policies to the public.

Babies born during pandemic-era lockdowns have 'deficits' in social communication: study

father baby story time
A new study out of Ireland has shone a light on the social development of pandemic-era babies, whose crucial first year was spent in an environment altered by Covid-19 restrictions.

Researchers found that babies born into lockdown had "deficits" in communication and other social skills compared to those born pre-Covid.

The study measured ten developmental milestones at the one-year mark in 309 babies born between March and May 2020, then compared them to data gathered from a cohort of 1,629 babies born between 2008 and 2011.

Polish pipeline operator PERN said Wednesday that a leak detected on one of its Druzhba pipelines bringing oil from Russia to Europe was likely caused by an accident.

The leak was detected on Tuesday evening on one of the two lines of the Western section of the pipeline, PERN said in a statement. The incident occurred roughly 70 kilometers (about 43 miles) from the central Polish city of Plock.

PERN said pumping on the damaged line, which delivers oil to Germany, was immediately switched off and the scene had been secured. Pumping through the other line continued as normal, the company said.

Comment: A rather convenient accident.

Orbán's Warning for Europe

Orban
© DPAFILE PHOTO: Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban speaks at a press conference in Budapest.
"Orbán is serenely indifferent to what's said about him in ... American newspapers."

If the United States were a serious power, it would pay heed to the warnings issuing from Hungary about the economic calamity facing Europe. Instead, Team Biden has dispatched a same-sex-married liberal activist as its envoy to Budapest in an apparent attempt to tweak the Hungarians' conservative sensibilities. It's the sort of stunt that would elicit little more than eye rolls — but for the fact that we live in deadly serious times.

At the ruling Fidesz party's annual "picnic" last weekend inKötcse, a village two hours' drive southwest from the capital, the message was dire: The United States is driving its trans-Atlantic allies to ruin by globalizing a local, intra-Slavic conflict in Ukraine. And European leaders are going along, obstinately sticking with sanctions that have failed to force a rethink in Moscow, let alone "collapse" the Russian economy or trigger a palace coup against Vladimir Putin.

France to shut off household smart water heaters REMOTELY to avoid blackouts as nuclear reactors remain offline and energy prices spike 28%

france
While gov't is looking for solutions to ongoing energy crisis, French people increasingly fear harsh winter ahead
According to the French National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies, energy prices for households in France have risen 28% in less than a year.

As the crisis and accompanying inflation are hitting the lowest-income households hard, tenants, of social housing face skyrocketing costs, although 35% of them live below the poverty line.

The Ecological Transition Ministry announced an official decree in late September that Enedis, France's largest electricity supplier, would be allowed to remotely shut off water heaters between noon and 2 p.m. local time, with over 4.5 million people to be affected by these restrictions planned for mid-October-mid-April.

Colorado officials claim they accidentally sent approximately 30,000 postcards last month to noncitizens instructing them how they could register to vote.

First reported by Colorado Public Radio News, Democratic Secretary of State Jena Griswold's office said department employees had sent the postcards on Sept. 27 after comparing a list of 102,000 names provided by the Electronic Registration Information Center, a nonprofit organization aiming to improve U.S. voter rolls and advocating residents to vote.

"The Department has become aware that approximately 30,000 EBU [Eligible But Unregistered] postcard mailers were incorrectly sent to ineligible Coloradans," a spokesperson for the Colorado Secretary of State's Office told local media. "The office is undertaking an internal review of the incident and will take any corrective action that is warranted."

Griswold insisted noncitizens would not be allowed to register to vote.
