California to provide free sex changes for illegal immigrants

A state memo regarding Medi-Cal stipulated that "gender-affirming care" is a covered benefit only "when medically necessary."

It has been revealed that sex changes and hormone therapy will be included in the healthcare coverage offered to illegal immigrants in California. As of January 1, everyone, regardless of whether they entered the country via legal means, will qualify for Medi-Cal, the state's public health insurance program. This program had typically been reserved for low-income individuals, families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, people in foster care, pregnant women, and low-income people with diseases such as tuberculosis, cancer, or HIV/AIDS.

Prior to the new rules, illegal immigrants were only able to access emergency and pregnancy-related care, however surgical and non-surgical procedures that "bring primary and secondary gender characteristics into conformity with the individual's identified gender, including ancillary services, such as hair removal" are now covered as well.

According to the Daily Caller, a state memo regarding Medi-Cal stipulated that "gender-affirming care" is a covered benefit only "when medically necessary."
"Requests for gender-affirming care, should be from specialists experienced in providing culturally competent care to transgender and gender diverse individuals and should use nationally recognized guidelines."

It's time to start paying people to take vaccines, says Oxford academic writing in Financial Times

vaccine
It's time to start paying people to take vaccines to boost take-up. That's according to Dr. Raymond Duch, an Oxford academic writing in the Financial Times. This is the lesson he's taken from the Covid pandemic, apparently.

Dr. Duch, a Director of the Centre for Experimental Social Sciences at Nuffield College, Oxford, writing in collaboration with Professor Philip Clarke, an economist of the Nuffield Department of Population Health, says that their trial of this measure in Ghana (yes, they actually got ethical approval to try it out - now published in Nature) proves that it works. By works they mean that yes, some poorer people will offer you their arm if you offer them hard cash - in this case an amount equivalent to around 15% of the weekly food bill, which is $3 is Ghana and may be around $14 in the U.S. But by 'works' they don't mean that it successfully reduces Covid deaths or illness. They didn't look at that. And since Ghana had almost zero confirmed Covid deaths, we can assume the (positive) impact of vaccination in the country was non-existent (even allowing that official Covid deaths may be under-counted).

Plaintiff Cernovich: Epstein document dump is a 'cover-up'

Conservative commentator Mike Cernovich claimed the FBI was hiding the deceased pedophile's blackmail stash

A much-hyped trove of nearly 1,000 newly-unsealed pages of court documents from a 2015 defamation case filed by a victim of infamous pedophile Jeffrey Epstein contains "no revelations," conservative commentator Mike Cernovich claimed on Wednesday in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Cernovich, working with Epstein defense attorney and accused sex trafficking participant Alan Dershowitz, sued to have Epstein victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre's defamation lawsuit unsealed in 2017 and has previously claimed credit for the predator's 2019 arrest.

In his post, he claimed the Southern District of New York (SDNY) had arrested Epstein in 2019 the weekend before the documents were first set to be unsealed as a result of his lawsuit, so as to prevent any of Epstein's powerful friends, soon to be exposed in the documents, from being criminally charged.

A long-range US B-1B Lancer bomber has crashed outside Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota, military officials have said, noting the accident took place as the aircraft wrapped up a training mission.

Air base staff confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday night, saying the bomber went down at around 6pm local time while attempting to land at the facility.

"At the time of the accident, it was on a training mission. There were four aircrew on board. All four ejected safely," the statement said, adding that an investigation had been launched.

Unconfirmed images making the rounds on social media were alleged to show a fire outside the military base, though officials offered few details about the aftermath of the crash.

Gender neutral toy aisles mandatory in California by law

Confused Kid

California is facing a massive budget deficit and boasts the largest homeless population in the US. The state is expanding the Medi-Cal program under Medicare to provide 700,000 illegal migrants with free healthcare. Leave it to Governor Gavin Newsom to focus on non-issues like children's toys. His entire platform is based on pandering to the far-left as his state crumbles. California is now prohibiting toy stores from gendering toys.

Any large retailer that fails to implement a gender-neutral toy aisle will be faced with a fine of up to $500. Those who break the law may face civil suits "enforced through legal proceedings initiated by the state attorney general, district attorney, or city attorney." This is a milder version of the original bill that attempted to BAN stores from displaying gendered toys and clothes.

The funding for this should go into mental healthcare. This extremism borders on child abuse. Children do not even understand the term "gender-neutral" nor should they. If your daughter wants to play with a toy car, you're free to walk into the toy aisle to purchase one. The indoctrination starts at an extremely young age. This legislation will teach Generation Alpha that it is not okay to be masculine or feminine. We must live in a genderless society to appease the WOKE.

How the US and its 'friends' keep stealing each other's secrets

Spying

Western spooks targeting Russian industry have long indulged in a spying orgy among themselves

"There is an active hunt not only for promising research, the data and parameters of our weapons, but also for our specialists who are especially valuable," Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov recently said, referring to Western spies and their efforts to seek information about Russian defense production by targeting industry experts.

Well, approaching "soft target" experts for info is certainly a better bet for spies than trying to chat up a soldier whose BS-detector is more finely tuned to espionage. And Western spooks know this better than anyone else since they've been busy practicing - among themselves.

Ultimately, all spying is about getting an economic advantage - whether in conflict or war, where the outcome determines the prominence of any future economic foothold, or more directly through theft of economically valuable secrets or the subversion of trade or competition. The current focus on the military conflict between Russia and the Western military alliance via Ukraine obscures the fact that for all the public proclamations of unity and solidarity by Western leaders, they'd all screw each other over economically if given even the slightest chance.

France detects bird flu outbreak on fully vaccinated duck farm

bird flu france
France has detected bird flu on a duck farm in the Vendee region in the west of the country, the farm ministry said on its website, the first such outbreak since France started vaccinating against the virus last year.

The Vendee prefecture said highly pathogenic avian influenza, commonly called bird flu, had been detected on Tuesday on a farm with 8,700 ducks in the town of Notre Dame de Riez. All of them had been vaccinated, it said.

Bird flu, which is carried by migrating wild birds and can then be transmitted between farms, has ravaged flocks around the globe in recent years, disrupting supply, pushing up food prices and raising concern of a risk of human transmission.

Comment: The reports don't actually state that farms have been 'ravaged' by bird flu itself, just that entire flocks were culled after cases were detected.

Comment: Of the 7 outbreaks, how many of those were on farms that had employed vaccination? Because it's looking like these vaccines aren't working and, if human vaccines are anything to go by, in some instances the vaccines themselves could be partly to blame.

These mass cull and vaccination efforts were already dubious, and it seems that now even more questions are being raised over the handling of these outbreaks, which, despite the authorities efforts, continue to rise: 750,000 birds culled in just 30 days after bird flu detected in 26 US states, 72 MILLION culled since 2022

Why is Germany's economy struggling - and can the government fix it?

Railway staff, lorry drivers and farmers are among those threatening strike action across Germany from Monday in nationwide protests over grievances ranging from pay and conditions to cuts in agricultural subsidies and higher road tolls.

Long Europe's powerhouse, Germany is struggling with a potent mix of short-term and deeper structural problems that - along with a divided and seemingly ineffectual government - have prompted economists to talk of the "sick man of Europe".

Here is a look at some of challenges confronting the EU's most populous state.

Comment: It is more than understandable that the voices are getting louder. For those who can think, it is no secret where all this could lead for the German population. And if we look right and left in these crazy times, these circumstances are not unique to Germany...

Epstein's brother breaks down billionaire's autopsy report, tells Tucker 'nobody seems to know' where key evidence is

tucker carlson
The brother of deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein broke down details of the autopsy report with Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson on The Tucker Carlson Interview, claiming "nobody seems to know" where a piece of key evidence is.

Epstein's brother, Mark, appeared on Carlson's Twitter show to discuss the alleged suicide of his brother, breaking down key information he has found over the years. Carlson brought up the Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation into Epstein's death, questioning Mark on the information from the case.

Mark said while the case recently came out, they had previously been attempting to find out "what position" Epstein's body was in during his time of death for the last four years, noting the report allegedly stated he was in a "seated position" with all of body weight on his neck.

"Well, they came out with the report, you know, a few months ago and, uh, for four years we've been trying to find out what position his body was in when it was found — and we couldn't get an answer to that either," Mark stated.

"But in the report, it described how he was found. It said that he was in a seated position with his legs extended in front of him and he was hanging from the top bunk. So if you picture that, you know, uh, basically all of his body weight, or most of his body weight was hanging by this noose around his neck or the ligature around his neck ... And they said when they cut them down or tore him down his buttocks was an inch — an inch and a half — above the ground. Again, which means his body weight was on his neck."
