Delusional: Top Zelensky advisor threatens war with Iran

Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has called for attacks inside Iran as the country's drones cause setbacks for the Ukrainian military.

On November 5, Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has advocated for military strikes on drone production sites located in Iran. President Zelensky echoed Podolyak's belligerent rhetoric the following day, demanding Iran be "punished" for allegedly supplying drones to Russia.

Kiev adopted its hostile posture towards Tehran after claiming Russia deployed Iranian-supplied drones to strike Ukrainian civilian infrastructure throughout much of October.

Comment: The only one prolonging the war is the Empire. Ukraine was ready for negotiations back in April, when lackey Boris Johnson was dispatched to wreck the proceedings. Now Ukraine's position is that much worse, even with the temporary re-occupation of the west Kherson oblast.

Did Boris Johnson scuttle the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine?

Reports have circulated in Russian media about secret US-Russian talks hosted by Türkiye. The Kommersant daily reported, citing anonymous sources, that the un-announced meeting is allegedly being held on Monday in the Turkish capital Ankara. The outlet reports that Moscow has sent Sergey Naryshkin, director of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service, or SVR, to the talks.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov later confirmed to Russian media that bilateral talks had taken place in Ankara, adding that they were held at the US' initiative.

Reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was hospitalized after his arrival at the G20 summit on the Indonesia island of Bali are "top-level fake news," Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

Zakharova, who is also on the island, said that she read the US and UK media stories with the foreign minister and we "just couldn't believe our eyes."

In a video, Lavrov showed that he wasn't in hospital. The veteran official likened the reports to years of false Western media allegations about the health of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

With more than 96% of ballots counted, AP, CNN, NBC and Edison Research have called the crucial Nevada race

Incumbent Democratic Senator Catherine Cortez Masto took a narrow lead over Republican challenger Adam Laxalt on Saturday night in Nevada, with multiple major US media outlets already calling the result and projecting that the Democrats will retain their grip on the Senate.

The Republican challenger maintained a narrow lead up until Saturday evening, when with some 96% of the ballots counted, CNN, NBC and Edison Research all projected a Democratic victory. Mail-in votes from the state's main urban areas, Las Vegas and Reno, pushed Masto over the line.

The Road to Totalitarianism (Revisited)

The Road to Totalitarianism
© CJ Hopkins / Substack
It feels like it's finally over, doesn't it, the whole "apocalyptic pandemic" thing? I mean, really, really over this time. Not like all those other times when you thought it was over, but it wasn't over, and was like the end of those Alien movies, where it seems like Ripley has finally escaped, but the alien is hiding out in the shuttle, or the escape pod, or Ripley's intestinal tract.

But this time doesn't feel like that. This time it feels like it's really, really over. Go out and take a look around. Hardly anyone is wearing masks anymore (except where masks are mandatory) or being coerced into submitting to "vaccinations" (except where "vaccination" is mandatory), and the hordes of hate-drunk New Normal fanatics who demanded that "the Unvaccinated" be segregated, censored, fired from their jobs, and otherwise demonized and persecuted, have all fallen silent (except for those who haven't).

Everything is back to normal, right?

Wrong. Everything is not back to normal. Everything is absolutely New Normal. What is over is the "shock-and-awe" phase, which was never meant to go on forever. It was always only meant to get us here.

Where, you're probably asking, is "here"? "Here" is a place where the new official ideology has been firmly established as our new "reality," woven into the fabric of normal everyday life. No, not everywhere, just everywhere that matters. (Do you really think the global-capitalist ruling classes care what people in Lakeland, Florida, Elk River, Idaho, or some village in Sicily believe about "reality"?) Yes, most government restrictions have been lifted, mainly because they are no longer necessary, but in centers of power throughout the West, in political, corporate, and cultural spheres, in academia, the mainstream media, and so on, the New Normal has become "reality," or, in other words, "just the way it is," which is the ultimate goal of every ideology.

Pink Flamingo: The US military will pay for its munition shortage

The military must set realistic requirements for munitions stockpiles based on the certainty of the high rates of expenditures that will be experienced in any future conflict with Russia or China.

The Biden administration's efforts to assist Ukraine in its war with Russia shine a light on two serious national security problems: the Department of Defense's inadequate stockpiles of munitions and the difficulties facing the defense industrial base to respond to quickly increase production of critical items. Unfortunately, these problems were not a surprise to senior defense decision-makers.

It has long been recognized both in and out of government that the Pentagon's inventory of munitions, particularly precision weapons, is inadequate to support a high-end conflict lasting more than a few months. Nor are the munitions industrial base and supporting supply chains in a position to rapidly refill depleted stocks or surge the production of critical weapons systems. Immediate action is necessary to address these two problems.

Comment: Or maybe the US could recognize the fact that they would be hopelessly outgunned in a direct confrontation with Russia or China, eat a slice of humble pie, and act accordingly. Nah, never mind. Carry on US.

FBI admits flirting with banned spyware - NYT

The agency's director told Congress it had bought a license to use Israeli remote snooping tool Pegasus.

The FBI bought a license for banned Israeli spyware program Pegasus, the agency's director Christopher Wray admitted in a closed session of Congress in December, according to a New York Times report published Saturday. However, the agency allegedly stopped short of using it amid a flurry of negative publicity surrounding the tool.

While Wray initially claimed the powerful phone-hacking program had been purchased in 2018 only "to be able to figure out how bad guys could use it," internal agency documents and court records seen by the Times revealed that some agents planned to use it in criminal investigations and had made detailed plans for how to convince the bureau's leadership to sign off on that use. They only stopped short of actually deploying it because of the growing storm of bad PR as other governments' abuse of the tech to spy on their own citizens, journalists and political dissidents came to light.

Another Ukrainian soldier spotted with Nazi insignia

Earlier, a man with an SS-style patch was present among President Vladimir Zelensky's security detail.

Footage of a Ukrainian soldier, wearing the insignia of a notorious SS brigade, emerged online this week, as the Kiev forces moved towards the city of Kherson following the withdrawal of the Russian troops.

The videos, presumably posted online by the soldier himself, show the Ukrainian fighter sporting on his helmet the patch with two crossed stick hand grenades - the emblem of Dirlewanger Brigade, known for mass murder of civilians and other war crimes committed during World War II.

The display of the insignia, popular among neo-Nazis, has met a mixed reaction online, with even some of those who support Ukraine in the ongoing conflict condemning the soldier's choice, given the especially brutal record of the SS brigade.

You've Been Gaslighted - Democrats Just Stole Another Election

election fraud
When something is so obvious, if the outcome makes no sense, if the outcome is literally impossible, then it is what it is. Forget "proof." You know it. You saw it. You felt it. You experienced it. It happened. It's real.

The 2022 midterm was just stolen. Just like 2020.

If you disagree, you're either delusional, or terribly naïve, or brain dead. Or you're in on the fix.

It's time to admit we're all part of a massive experiment in fraud, theft, brainwashing, and gaslighting to a degree never seen in world history.

Think of all the times in just the past few years you've been gaslighted. They lied to you about open borders...they lied about Hillary's 30,000 deleted emails...they lied about spying on Trump...they lied about Russian Collusion...they lied about a perfectly fine Ukrainian phone call...they lied about massive Biden corruption in Ukraine and China... they lied about the Hunter Biden laptop they lied about the origins of Covid...they lied about the need for lockdowns and masks...they lied about the need for Covid vaccines...they lied about the vaccines being "safe and effective"...they lied and covered up all the deaths and injuries from the vaccine...they lied about the success of miracle drugs Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin...they lied about the stolen 2020 election...

US and Western officials considering diplomacy as winter looms and Ukraine war cost may rise to $60 billion

Russia and Ukraine are most likely looking to the slower tempo of battle this winter as a time to reset and refit their forces to be ready for a spring offensive.

Some U.S. and Western officials increasingly believe that neither side can achieve all of their goals in the Ukraine war and are eyeing the expected winter slowdown in fighting as an opportunity for diplomacy to begin between Russia and Ukraine, officials familiar with the matter say.

Comment: Translation: Despite legacy media proclamations, Ukraine is not winning, and, whilst Russia has air capabilities, amongst many other avenues available to it this winter, Ukraine does not, nor does it have reliable energy sources.

However, it's unlikely that this call for diplomacy is sincere, and instead it's possible that it's merely a tactic to stall Russia's progress through the winter, in the hopes that the US-Ukraine can just violate any agreements made come the more favourable spring.
