Just last month Sanna Marin turned 34. This week she is slated to become the world's youngest prime minister, after the Finnish parliament confirms her nomination.

Marin will take over the reins of Finland after her former boss, 57-year-old Antti Rinne, announced last week that he would be stepping down. Her candidacy was put forward by the Social Democrats (SDP), with four other members of the ruling coalition already agreeing to fast-track her nomination so that she could represent Finland at an EU summit on Thursday. Missing the meeting of European leaders would be a bit awkward, considering Finland currently holds the rotating presidency in the union.

Hate Mail: Vegans leave "use a bullet" notes to Australian drought-affected farmers

Farmers across NSW have become the targets of abusive letters urging them to 'use a bullet' on themselves if they 'can't handle' the drought.

Several residents in Dubbo, Walgett and Peak Hill in the state's western region reported receiving the disturbing notes last month, police said.

One of the letters, obtained by The Daily Telegraph, had been typed in a large font on white paper and is believed to have been hand delivered.

'Hey loser, no one cares that you have to send livestock to slaughter,' the note states.

Comment: Many practicing Vegans found out in a hard way that Veganism is not good for the health in the long run. There are many vegan influencers who find meat is beneficial and switched their diet. There are many fanatics that go to extremes to commit crime to punish non-vegans. There are others who find them selves in jail for nutritional neglect of their children.

A gunman killed six people on Tuesday at a hospital waiting room in the eastern Czech city of Ostrava before fleeing and fatally shooting himself in the head, police said.

"We have captured the shooting assailant. The 42-year old man had shot himself in the head before police took action, he is dead," police said on Twitter.

Police received calls about a shooting at 7:19 a.m. (0619 GMT) at the University Hospital in Ostrava, 350 km (217 miles) east of the capital Prague and near the border with Poland.

Officers were on the scene five minutes later.

'Hard to digest': Uber's 1st US safety report finds almost 6,000 sexual assaults reported in 2 years

Uber has published its first safety report detailing the number of serious crimes committed by both drivers and riders that use the platform. "The numbers are jarring and hard to digest," the firm's chief legal officer said.

According to the self-produced report, in 2017, Uber received 2,936 reports of sexual assault in the US, with that number jumping to 3,045 in 2018. Amidst the startling figures are 229 reports of rape in 2017 and 235 reports of rape in 2018. Drivers reported sexual assaults at roughly the same rate as passengers though in 92 percent of the reported rapes the passenger was the victim.

In addition to sexual assaults of varying severity, there were also nine murders and 58 people killed in car crashes. There was no information provided from the 65 countries outside the US where the ridesharing platform operates.

As the Free Thought Project reports on a regular basis, cops across the country are often caught committing the same crimes for which they routinely kidnap and cage people. From stealing from charities to selling drugs they steal from their jobs as cops, many police officers have proven to be as bad or worse than than the criminals from which they claim to protect society. The following instance out of Kentucky of a cop running a steroid ring highlights this hypocrisy quite well.

Below is a post from Scott County deputy Joe Baker from earlier this year in which he is bragging about kidnapping and caging people for possessing cannabis.

He also arrested his own sister for drugs two years ago.

What makes these arrests particularly hypocritical is the fact that deputy Baker, himself, was just arrested last week on similar charges. Earlier this year, Scott County Sheriff Jerry Goodin asked Indiana State Police to investigate after receiving a tip that Deputy Joe Baker and Reserve Officer Phil Thomas were involved in dealing illegal steroids.

The HRD Ministry has directed all schools to set up a kitchen garden and instructions to this effect have been issued by the Centre to all the states and union territories in October. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has issued guidelines for developing and maintaining kitchen gardens in all schools, both in urban and rural areas.

Why are schools directed to set up kitchen gardens?

The exercise is aimed at improving nutrition in schools, inculcating habits among children in an era of rapid urbanization, and mounting environmental issues.
It also seeks to develop among children the skill of growing own vegetables and fruits in schools and homes.
The guidelines lay emphasis on a perception that kitchen garden which is being referred to as a school nutrition garden can be set up anywhere, even in a school in a crowded urban area.

Comment: Kudos to India for encouraging schools to teach students valuable life skills! The Anglo-sphere might want to consider the benefits of a curriculum that actually prepares children for life, rather than inculcating kids with LGBT propaganda and pornography disguised as sex 'education' that is generally inappropriate for young minds.

Heart wrenching body camera footage was just released this week showing a Ceres police officer opening fire on a 15-year-old boy as he ran away. The officer dumped his entire magazine while aiming at the boy's back, killing him for fleeing.

Carmen "Spencer" Mendez was shot and killed in August 2018, however police have only just released the body camera footage publicly. The incident began during a car chase in a vehicle in which Mendez was a passenger. The chase ended with Mendez jumping out of the vehicle and fleeing on foot. Although the police were pursuing the vehicle over an alleged brandishing of a handgun, they were looking for a young man wearing a black shirt and jeans, according to records from Ceres. Mendez was wearing a white top and red pants.

2020 presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) commemorated the death of Beatles member John Lennon on Sunday with a video of her singing the music legend's hit "Imagine," co-written by Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono.

A three-minute video posted to Twitter Sunday afternoon shows Gabbard in the back of her campaign bus alongside her husband, who sings the song with Gabbard while playing a ukulele.

Sunday marks 39 years since Lennon's murder in New York City by Mark David Chapman. Many Twitter users took to the platform on Sunday to post Lennon's song lyrics in honor of the musician's memory, with "Imagine" being a top choice for many fans.

Gabbard appeared at Democratic primary debates throughout the summer and fall but has yet to qualify for the upcoming debate, set for Dec. 19 in Los Angeles.

She previously feuded with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic nominee, who suggested in an interview that the Hawaii Democrat was the favorite candidate for the Russian government in 2020.

The World Anti-Doping Agency is regarded as the top sports authority when it comes to rooting out doping. But experts have pointed out glaring holes in WADA's modus operandi, which cast doubt on its judgement.

Established 20 years ago under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee, WADA has grown capable of imposing its own will on the world of sports through rulings and recommendations almost universally observed by international sporting bodies. Most recently, it once again turned its attention to Russia, accusing it of manipulating doping test data.

It sounds like a serious accusation, but there have been arguments against taking WADA's word for it - in this case and in others. Irrespective of their views on the Russian "systemic doping" scandal, experts have been pointing out the agency's flaws.

French mayor forbids citizens to die on weekends

Laws can be surprising, not to say downright strange. Not convinced? The mayor of a French village has outlawed death on weekends - for a very good reason.

The mayor of the French village of Gresle in the Loire region has issued a decree forbidding her citizens to die on weekends and holidays. The unusual move, however, is a symbolic one: the mayor criticises the acute shortage of doctors.

"A recent death on a Sunday has proved the absurdity of a system, to which the mayor responds with an absurd order," mayor Isabelle Dugelet said in a statement.

On 1 December, it took two and a half hours to find a doctor when a senior resident of a care home for elderly people passed away. Dugelet argued this represented "a lack of respect for the deceased and their families."

The city council added that the decree was meant to draw attention to the "catastrophic health situation" in Gresle and the neighbouring villages. The area suffers from an acute lack of doctors.

Comment: The sadder thing is that there are bureaucrats who would do this un-ironically.
