Gunman at German university kills one, injures four, student turns gun on himself

Police in the southern German city are investigating after several people were injured and one killed when a single shooter opened fire inside a lecture hall before taking his own life.

One woman was killed and three people injured in a shooting at Heidelberg University on Monday.

Police said at a press conference Monday evening that a man entered a university lecture hall with a double-barreled shotgun and another firearm as a class was running and opened fire.

Four people were wounded. A 23-year-old woman died several hours later in the hospital; the other victims suffered injures in the face, back and legs, police said.

Europe could be headed for pandemic 'endgame': WHO

The Omicron variant has moved the COVID-19 pandemic into a new phase and could bring it to an end in Europe, the WHO Europe director said Sunday.

"It's plausible that the region is moving towards a kind of pandemic endgame," Hans Kluge told AFP in an interview, adding that Omicron could infect 60 percent of Europeans by March.

Once the current surge of Omicron sweeping across Europe subsides, "there will be for quite some weeks and months a global immunity, either thanks to the vaccine or because people have immunity due to the infection, and also lowering seasonality".

"We anticipate that there will be a period of quiet before COVID-19 may come back towards the end of the year, but not necessarily the pandemic coming back," Kluge said.

The Auschwitz Memorial denounced comments made by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s at an anti-vaccine rally in Washington DC on Sunday as "exploiting the tragedy" of the Holocaust.

During a speech at the rally, Kennedy, a conspiracy theorist and prominent anti-vaxxer, warned of a massive surveillance network being created with satellites in space and 5G mobile networks collecting data.


Comment: To clarify, it was an anti-mandate rally, not an "anti-vaccine rally." And calling RFK a "conspiracy theorist" is also intended as a smear (someone who points out conspiracies with evidence is not a "theorist," after all). By mischaracterizing it, The Hill is clearly indicating they've taken sides (not that this is a big shocker).

"Even in Hitler's Germany, you could hide in the attic like Anne Frank did," Kennedy said, illustrating his point that surveillance today is all-encompassing.

Comment: Comparisons of the current totalitarian control system to Nazi Germany are apt. The fact that 'official organizations' like the Auschwitz Memorial refuse to see this gives more insight into their mandate than they likely realize.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla on Saturday said people getting COVID-19 booster shots every four to five months is "not a good scenario" and argued that an annual vaccine would be a better approach to fighting the virus.

Bourla told the Hebrew publication N12 News in an exclusive interview that the best way to combat COVID-19 is a vaccine that can be administered every year, not with boosters received every few months, according to Reuters.

"This will not be a good scenario," he said when asked about people getting booster shots every four to five months, per the wire service. "What I'm hoping [is] that we will have a vaccine that you will have to do once a year."

Over 30,000 people took to the streets in Washington D.C. for the "Defeat the Mandates: An American Homecoming" march to protest "draconian COVID-19 requirements" Sunday, Fox News reported.

The Supreme Court also blocked Biden's private sector vaccination mandate, noting that "Although Congress has indisputably given OSHA the power to regulate occupational dangers, it has not given that agency the power to regulate public health more broadly." However, the Court ruled to reinstate the vaccination mandate for healthcare workers.

Mask mandates have always been more about showing compliance than keeping people safe, and the CDC's latest embarrassing disclosure further proves it.

For two years now, to walk into a grocery store barefaced has been to risk soliciting dirty stares, at least in some parts of the country. But walk in with your face covered by a thin piece of fabric, preferably with some vaguely woke slogan, that you got overpriced on Etsy? You're golden.

Masks have been obvious political theater from the start, back when Anthony Fauci et al. promised we didn't need them and then flip-flopped and promised we did. But when sensible observers tried to point that out, the Big Tech-media cabal gleefully slapped them with "fact" "checks."

When The Federalist ran the headline "Many Studies Find That Cloth Masks Do Not Stop Viruses Like COVID" in November 2020, Lead Stories attempted to "fact-check" the piece, slapping a red "masks work" label over a screenshot of the original article.

Dr. Peter McCullough - a renowned cardiologist and highly published medical scientist whose confrontation of the government's COVID-19 policies has drawn more than 40 million views on Joe Rogan's podcast - told WND in a video interview Thursday night the official pandemic narrative that has been fiercely guarded by establishment media and social-media censors is "completely crumbling."

That narrative, he said, included "false statements regarding asymptomatic spread, reliance on lockdown and masks - which obviously didn't work - the suppression of early treatment, the mass promotion of vaccines that failed."

"And now here we are, almost in complete free fall," McCullough said, referring to the record number of COVID-19 cases as officials acknowledge the vaccines don't prevent infection or transmission.

McCullough noted that in California, with the more contagious but much milder omicron variant now dominant, health care workers who tested positive for COVID-19 and had symptoms were told to go back to work.

David Fincher's cult-classic 'Fight Club' has seen an official online release in China on the Tencent Video streaming platform, but it's not exactly the movie westerners might remember. Most imported films in China go through a censorship filter, making sure that the films are in line with the Communist party's ideals and portray law enforcement as the ultimate force for good, always triumphing over the villains. If that's not the way the original story goes - it gets changed, and the censors don't seem to really care about preserving the plot or maintaining coherence of the films they edit, and the changes are often drastic.

The latest film to get adapted is the 1999 classic 'Fight Club.' The original ending saw the main character (spoilers, if you haven't seen the film), who suffers from a split identity disorder, shoot himself in the face to kill his alter ego, Tyler Durden, and then proceed to watch a bunch of corporate buildings explode, sending an anarchistic message about the dangers and trappings of a society obsessed with consumerism.

Los Angeles school district to require students to wear 'non-cloth masks with a nose wire'

Students in Los Angeles public schools will be required to wear "well-fitting, non-cloth masks with a nose-wire" and staff will be required to wear surgical-grade masks beginning Monday under the school district's latest round of pandemic protocols.

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) on Friday updated its coronavirus guidelines, which are posted on its website, to essentially ban cloth masks.

"Masking will be required at all times, indoors and outdoors. It is required that all students wear well-fitting, non-cloth masks with a nose wire. All employees are required to wear surgical grade masks or higher," the updated guidance said.

Comment: How interesting it is that everything is focused on the positivity rate now. The focus started out on deaths, then moved to hospitalizations, and now it is this all encompassing 'rate'. And also notice that the rare severity of Covid has decreased (and exceedingly, exceedingly rare for children), yet the restrictions continue and in many places accelerate. Such things should give pause to people feebly obeying the Grand Priests of Pharma, but the world population has become so compliant that we are in for the proverbial 'ride' as destruction continues to collapse on all the denial.

A mother who claims teachers secretly manipulated her 11-year-old daughter into changing her gender identity and name has filed a legal case against a tiny California school district.

Spreckels Union School District was responsible for "extreme and outrageous conduct" that led the student on a path toward transitioning as a boy and drove a wedge between mother and child, according to the claim filed Wednesday by a conservative legal group.

Jessica Konen said two middle school teachers who ran the school's Equality Club — later known as UBU (You Be You) — planted the seed that her daughter was bisexual in 6th grade and then introduced the idea she was transgender.

The legal claim — a precursor to a lawsuit — follows a dustup in the district last fall after the author of a book widely criticized as "anti-transgender" quoted the two teachers speaking at a conference about how to run an LGBTQ+ club in a conservative community.
