Worldcoin: AI requires proof that you are human

"The most programmable machine on the planet today is still the human."— Drishti CEO Prasad Akella
In the opening scene of the original Blade Runner film, Leon, a Nexus-6 replicant is given a "Voight-Kampff Test" to determine whether or not he is human.

The test is designed to provoke an emotional response. Emotions are read by scanning the iris, the colored part of your eye. The color of your iris is like your fingerprint; it's unique to you, and nobody else in the world has the exact same colored eye.

As the questions go on, Leon becomes increasingly agitated. When he is asked to "describe in single words, only the good things that come into your mind about your mother", he's had enough. "My mother?" Leon says. "Let me tell you about my mother." And he pulls out a gun and kills his tormentor.

Replicants have a termination date because if they live too long, they begin to develop emotions and the fear is that they will no longer be distinguishable from humans. Leon and a few other advanced replicants are on a mission to confront their creator, Dr. Eldon Tyrell, and find a way to extend their lives.

Phillip K. Dick, author of the novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? upon which the movie is based, would flip out at what's happening today. Not because it's what he foretold but because it's the exact opposite.

Lawsuit alleges police whisked Mary MacCarthy and her biracial daughter aside for questioning.

A White mother is suing Southwest Airlines for "blatant racism" after an airline employee allegedly assumed she was trafficking her biracial 10-year-old daughter.

Mary MacCarthy, a Los Angeles resident, said traveling to Denver for her older brother's funeral went awry when, shortly after landing, she and her daughter Moira were whisked away for police questioning after an airline employee flagged the duo as suspicious.

The lawsuit alleged that an airline employee called the Denver police while the duo was still en route to the destination and reported MacCarthy for suspected child trafficking. As the pair walked down the jet bridge to the terminal, police stopped them in their tracks.

Vivek Ramaswamy sued the WEF and won

This story has not gained enough attention. GOP presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy took on the globalist elite of the World Economic Forum (WEF) for "creating a false perception" that he was involved in their organization. The WEF attempted to list Ramaswamy as a Young Global Leader but he denied their invitation. After repeatedly asking the organization to remove his name from their marketing, he filed a lawsuit against them in 2021.

"The World Economic Forum's mission to achieve global 'equity' poses a serious threat to the American way of life," Ramaswamy said in a statement. "Our Founding Fathers fought the American Revolution to declare independence from the Old World monarchy. That old monster now rears its head again in the form of WEF's agendas including 'stakeholder capitalism' and the 'Great Reset.' That's why I've been one of the most vocal crusaders in America against WEF, and I am filing this lawsuit to hold them accountable for creating the false illusion of affiliation to undermine its opponents - so that they don't do it again to others," he added.

Christians are under attack in the Only Democracy in the Middle East™: Israel's far right is becoming more brazen

Emboldened by an ultranationalist government promoting Jewish supremacy, young Israelis are increasingly targeting Christians in the holy land with hate crimes

Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, was taken by surprise when he learned that Pope Francis elevated him to the high rank of cardinal last month.

The archbishop, who recently warned against rising Israeli attacks on Christians in the birthplace of Christianity, interpreted it as "a sign of attention from the Church of Rome towards the Mother Church, the Church of Jerusalem".

The nomination, the first extended to the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem since the patriarchal seat was re-established in 1847, is perceived as a clear statement by the Pope against rising Israeli violence in the Holy Land.

Putin critic faces harsh prison regime after being found guilty of charges decried as politically motivated...

A court in Russia has extended Alexei Navalny's prison sentence by 19 years, and sentenced him to a special regime with the harshest prison conditions in the country.

Navalny, 47, once led street protests against the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, built a nationwide political opposition, and revealed salacious details of Kremlin officials' corrupt lifestyles. As revenge, Russia has sentenced him to a cumulative three decades in prison, a term that will most likely keep the Kremlin critic behind bars and out of politics for as long as Putin remains alive.

Navalny attended the sentencing, which was handed down on Friday in a closed hearing inside a penal colony auditorium, in a black prison jumpsuit. Journalists and members of the public have been barred from attending the trial.

He was found guilty on six counts, including inciting and financing extremism, creating an illegal NGO, the rehabilitation of Nazism, and inciting children to dangerous acts. He and his supporters have rejected the charges as being politically motivated.

The latest demented idea being pushed to stop the world ending from climate armageddon is to catch an asteroid, put an umbrella on it and use it to block out the Sun.

What could possibly go wrong?

The Daily Mail reports:
István Szapudi, an astronomer from the University of Hawaiʻi, argued his far-fetched concept was merely an enormous 'solar shield'.

The shield - which would be made of the ultra strong 'wonder material' graphene - would block energy from the sun and cool down our planet.

'Renowned' New York City doctor shoots baby, turns gun on herself in horrific murder-suicide: Police

new york doctor murder suicide
A prominent oncologist in New York City allegedly shot her baby to death and then took her own life in a shocking murder-suicide, according to police.

"A preliminary investigation revealed that at approximately 7:00 a.m., Krystal Cascetta entered her child's room and shot her baby and then turned the gun on herself," New York State Police said in a statement released Saturday.

Krystal Cascetta, 40, was a hematology-oncology specialist at New York City's Mount Sinai Hospital, according to local media. The suspected murder-suicide was carried out at Cascetta's $1 million home, which she shared with her husband in Somers, New York, the Daily Mail reported.

Comment: From the Daily Mail:
Bob Stuart, 71, who lived near the couple's home, told the New York Post: 'They had ambulances and police come to their house two, maybe three times this summer. At least twice.

'I saw the police and ambulances arrive.'

Stuart's wife, Betsy, added that the family were 'very private people, kept to themselves,' to the point that they hadn't heard from them in nearly two years.

The Stuarts said they didn't even know that the doctor was pregnant.

It has not been revealed why police and ambulances were previously called to the home.
A motive for the murder-suicide has not yet been released, as friends and former patients of the New York City oncology doctor rally around her.
