According to Bloomberg News, the European Union on Wednesday will announce a framework for assessing possible security implications of climate change, which includes a study regarding the possible dangers of re-engineering the atmosphere itself.
"These technologies introduce new risks to people and ecosystems, while they could also increase power imbalances between nations, spark conflicts and raises a myriad of ethical, legal, governance and political issues," a document obtained by Bloomberg states.
The technology, described as solar radiation modification, will be studied by the EU.
"The EU will support international efforts to assess comprehensively the risks and uncertainties of climate interventions, including solar radiation modification," the document states.
Among the options to combat climate change that will be looked at are stratospheric aerosol injection, which would increase the atmospheric concentration of particles in order to reduce the overall sunlight which will reach the Earth's surface.
According to Bloomberg, critics of the strategy say it moves attention away from reducing emissions and could have some unintended impacts, such as changing rain patterns.

The facts are in - the evidence overwhelming.
I believe under common-law if it can be proven entities are performing harmful actions intentional to the "community as a whole", then said entities can be convicted in a court of law. This includes those who conceived the plan willfully as well as those who carry it out because they ought know what they are doing.
The punishment for those individuals who willingly conceived and facilitated this geoengineering should be death per the law of common law and the scale of harm being caused.

The only thing that hurts them is the rain when they go below the cloud ceiling.
It works the same way as nuclear winter or volcanic eruptions.
Material lifted into the upper atmosphere can persist for years.

As you say, "nuclear winter or volcanic eruptions" will put great, huge amounts of solids and gases into the atmosphere where they are blown around by the wind. Millions of tonnes of material are released from these events.
How does mankind put that much material in the atmosphere in the short time frame required? Jet sprayers?
We can't do it.
Weather modifications have been going on since the 1920's in the U.S. with 'cloud seeding' and 'orgone energy' being the first technologies used to bring rain. Those worked over the short term and had local impact.
There is insufficient evidence to support the idea that humans can turn those local impacts into a global phenomenon. You would have more luck convincing me that the Great Pyramids were constructed using hemp rope and wet sand.
That being said, I am always open to new evidence. So long as there is enough information presented to 'do the math' then I am open to pretty much anything.
Well, it depends how you look at it. Ryanair was established precisely for the purpose of global spraying of the atmosphere. They were subsidized with huge amounts of cash for the first few years to become the line as common as it is today.
The global effect will of course last until planes fly globally around the world :-))
Personally, I believe that there are indeed rapid climatic changes and that some kind of solstice is approaching, probably another "ice age".
I believe that all they can do is try to delay this event with their flying, or rather, delay the moment when it becomes widely perceived.

They had noticed long ago that the atmosphere had begun to thin. First, light gases, such as helium or nitrogen, began to escape, then heavier ones, such as oxygen. Subsequently, the atmosphere began to let in moisture.
Its density, at least in theory, should slow down the process, but not stop it.

Same goes for generic drugs. Everything that could possibly mess up the mRNA garbage technology will be banned or pulled from the market. The best example is the ban and vilification of Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine.

I have a problem with using SOx as a global threat - it is the same issue I have with trying to keep solids airborne long enough to make a difference; this stuff is much heavier than air and will 'fall' out of the atmosphere in short order.

You cannot expect a molecule weighing 2.4 Times as much as air to remain suspended for very long. My sulphur dispersion models and years of field work have shown me this.
BTW, Carbon dioxide (CO2) has a density of 0.1146 pound per cubic foot, 1.5 Times that of air. Same problem exists; too heavy to stay in the atmosphere long enough to be an issue (given our limited rate of global, natural and man-made emissions).
