US 'cynically' using children - Russia

Russia has accused the US of "cynically" using children to settle geopolitical scores after the White House announced sanctions on a youth summer camp in Crimea.

Earlier this week, the administration of President Joe Biden unveiled measures targeting people and organizations involved in "the forcible removal of thousands of Ukrainian children to Russia."

The sanctions list shared by the US State Department specifically mentioned Artek, an international children's center on the Black Sea coast which dates back to the Soviet era.

In a statement on Thursday, the Russian Embassy in Washington dismissed the US allegations as unfounded, branding them "shocking because of their odious, cynical nature, and faint-heartedness."

'Putin didn't complain about the sanctions at all': Scholz, Macron wonder why sanctions weren't mentioned during 2022 Ukraine peace talks - Bild

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron were surprised when during their telephone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in March 2022 the Russian leader did not mention the sanctions imposed on Moscow, the daily Bild reports.

"Something bothers me more than the talks: he [Putin] didn't complain about the sanctions at all. I don't know if he did so in the conversation with you [Macron]. He didn't even mention them," Bild quotes Scholz as saying while talking to the French leader after talks with the Russian president. "Not with me, either," the newspaper quoted Macron's response.

'Nothing to congratulate' on Ukraine's Independence Day - Moscow

There is little cause for celebration on Ukraine's Independence Day, the Russian ambassador to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, told a UN Security Council meeting on Thursday. Kiev's policies in the wake of the 2014 Maidan coup have reduced the nation to being "in the hands" of Washington and its allies and sacrificed the country's national interests to serve the West, he added.

According to Nebenzia, the US and its allies had planned a proxy war against Russia as early as 2014 and the Maidan coup played right into those plans. Now, neither Washington, London, nor Brussels are interested in stopping the conflict, Nebenzia stated, adding that Kiev's Western backers prevented it from striking "an almost agreed" peace deal with Russia back in March 2022.

Modern Ukraine is a state that persecutes people for dissent, the diplomat claimed. "We are aware of tens of thousands of Ukrainians arrested for merely visiting Russian websites or listening to Russian music on their phones," he stated, adding that "anything linked to Russia had been outlawed in Ukraine long before the start of [Russia's] special operation."

The former director of Black Voices for Trump, Harrison Floyd, was the first of the 19 Fulton County defendants to be held in jail without bond.

Floyd, 39, turned himself into the Fulton County, Georgia jail Thursday afternoon, after District Attorney Fani Willis gave former President Donald Trump and the other 18 co-conspirators in her election interference case until noon on Friday to show up.

He didn't negotiate a bond so remained in custody after being charged with racketeering, conspiracy to solicit false statements and influencing witnesses.

Comment: Clearly, this guy is a bad apple, but that doesn't mean that voter fraud didn't happen, see also: "2,000 Mules" looking less and less incredible.

Fani Willis' Trump investigation started after Raffensperger's aide Jordan Fuchs lied to WaPo about president's phone call

President Trump made an infamous call with SOS Brad Raffensperger and SOS Official Jordan Fuchs who later lied to the WaPo about the contents of the call. She was caught when the original recording of the call was found deleted on her computer.

In late December 2020, President Trump made a call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger asking him to look at some of the items that were uncovered by his auditor. There was plenty of evidence for a competent auditor or any man of integrity to know that the election was uncertifiable.

Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger's office secretly recorded the phone call with President Trump, then lied about it later on when they leaked it to the far-left Washington Post.

Raffensperger's office later ran to the Washington Post and leaked a fraudulent transcript of the call.

All aboard the Impeachment Express

Beach boy "Joe Biden" will be well-rested when the plan for his impeachment rolls out after Labor Day. Just because you're not hearing any news about it now, with the county fairs on all over the USA, and the pols busy scarfing corn-dogs and kissing heifers, doesn't mean that the key players aren't confabbing among themselves. Hey, have you noticed, you're hardly hearing about anything else these dwindling days of summer, either? Got any idea what's up with that war in Ukraine? Of course you don't.

A preview for you then: Rep James Comer's House Oversight Committee has already assembled a bundle of evidence tracking the exact ways and means of how the Biden family's global bribery operation worked. That includes the bank records, the emails and deal memos, the chronology of meetings, the FBI documents, the phone recordings, the photos of "JB" schmoozing with Hunter's "clients," and the famous video of "Joe Biden" bragging onstage at the Council on Foreign Relations about how he strong-armed Ukraine President Poroshenko into firing General Prosecutor Viktor Shokin.

'We are destroying Europe': Hungarian FM slams EU's self-harming sanctions on Russia

The European Union's sanctions policy against Russia has turned into a laughing stock on the global stage, says Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, warning that Europe is "destroying" itself in the name of supporting Ukraine.

It would be a "baroque and poetic exaggeration" to say that sanctions against Russia have succeeded in crippling the Russian economy, Szijjarto told attendees at the Tranzit political festival on Saturday.

"The policy of sanctions has failed," he said, adding that "everywhere in the world, the European sanctions policy is being laughed at."

European leaders have embraced these self-harming sanctions because they "are in a war psychosis," Szijjarto said.

Ukraine conflict may be lengthy - Canadian PM

Justin Trudeau has pledged that Ottawa, along with the other G7 members, will support Kiev for as long as it takes.

It may still be a long time before the military conflict between Ukraine and Russia ends, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said. He added that his country as well as the other G7 nations are prepared to support Kiev for the long haul.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Seventh Global Environment Facility Assembly in Vancouver on Saturday, Trudeau said that the Group of Seven leaders have always known that Ukraine's counteroffensive "was going to be a long process."
"Certainly from the conversations we've had at the G7 and NATO, we are ready for a war that will take as long as it needs to, because we cannot and must not let Russia win," he added.
Ukraine launched its much-hyped counteroffensive in early June in the east and south of the country, but has yet to make any significant gains. Senior officials in Kiev, including President Vladimir Zelensky, have acknowledged that it is going more slowly than anticipated.

Comment: He represents just one of the many "puppet leaders" across the world who carry out the directives of those in power. The combination of limited intelligence and a significant position of power represents a potential danger. He is an excellent illustration of this.

Elite crackdown on free speech worldwide intensifies

minority report
From North America to Australia to Europe, elites seek censorship, privacy invasions, and the prosecution of wrongthink as "pre-crime"

The leaders of nations, representatives of international organizations, and philanthropists say they are committed to creating free and open societies. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg says Facebook has independent fact-checkers, is open to all perspectives, and doesn't interfere in elections. And, in response to questions from a colleague at Public, a representative from George Soros' Open Society Foundations insisted the philanthropy supported free speech.

"In response to your effort to conflate any attempt to address hate speech as a frontal assault on free speech itself," the Soros spokesperson said, "perhaps the words of the UN Secretary-General will help in illuminating a crucial distinction: 'Addressing hate speech does not mean limiting or prohibiting freedom of speech.'"

But these words are a thin veil covering an aggressive attack on freedom of speech around the world, from Australia to North America to Europe, where the Digital Services Act, which demands Internet companies "Address any risk they pose on society, including public health, physical and mental well-being," goes into effect today.

John Kerry jets over to Scotland, calls climate rationalists 'cult' members

John Kerry
Biden climate envoy John 'private jet' Kerry expended several years worth of the average pleb's emissions to appear in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he said that climate skeptics were in a 'cult,' and accused them of 'lashing out at truthtellers' (like the ones who made a 'major math error' in a widely-cited study? Or the ones who couldn't answer what good throwing $50 trillion at it will do?).

According to the 79-year-old Kerry, climate skeptics "incite a movement against what they falsely label 'climate change fanaticism' as they conveniently forget that the dictionary definition of a 'cult' is 'the dismissal of facts in devotion to a lie.'"
