The latest 'indictment' against Donald Trump for what amounts to Crimes Against The Regime has produced a 'mugshot' that symbolizes the biggest political 'own goal' yet for the Democratic Party. Seriously, what the heck are they even thinking?! Trump's even popular in the hood now! Meanwhile, in Russia, Yevgeny Prigozhin is no more: he appears to have been shot/blown out of the sky outside Moscow, ending a half-year of bizarre and politically dangerous antics from the ex-owner of Wagner PMC.

Also on this NewsReal, Joe and Niall discuss the rash of highly-mediatized wildfires around the world throughout August: is it 'climate change'? Or is it people who want you to believe it's climate change? Either way, the media narrativizers are clearly capitalizing on them to attract clicks and drive home fear. Good news is, BRICS doubled in size last week as de-dollarization, multipolarity, and democratization gather pace. A process of global transformation is underway and there's nothing the imperialists in Washington and London can do to stop it...

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva expressed on Saturday Brazil's desire to open a consulate general in Angola's capital city, Luanda, Agencia Brasil reported.

Lula highlighted that Angola is home to the largest Brazilian community on the African continent.

"That's why I instructed Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira to study the opening of a general consulate in Luanda, which would be the first in a Portuguese-speaking country in Africa," he added during the inauguration of the Ovídio de Melo Gallery at the Guimaraes Rosa Institute in Angola, as part of his African tour.

Before heading to Sao Tome and Príncipe for the Summit of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP), the Brazilian leader said, "In relations between Brazil and Angola, we need to dream big and dream very far."

Comment: The West has been fomenting unrest throughout Africa in order to maintain their presence and so that they can continue their looting of the resource rich nations, however, they're going to find this much more difficult with the arrival of the multipolar world and everything they've got to offer: The West's attempt to create a Ukrainian scenario in Niger is faltering - Timofey Bordachev, Valdai Club Director

Question

Who's afraid of Prigozhin and Wagner?

Yevgeny Prigozhin
Yevgeny Prigozhin speaks to camera in an image taken from video released on Wagner-linked Telegram channels on Aug. 21, 2023
There has been an avalanche of western media reports within minutes or hours of the ghastly death on Wednesday of the head of the Wagner organisation of Russian military contractors, Yevgeny Prigozhin, which pointed the accusing finger at President Vladimir Putin as the perpetrator.

It is almost as if a button was pressed at some unknown command centre to launch a new narrative to demonise Putin for serving the cold dish of revenge to Prigozhin, to borrow the CIA director William Burns' recent words, for staging a failed coup in Russia. No one cared to produce empirical evidence.

"Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth" — the law of propaganda is often attributed to the Nazi leader Joseph Goebbels who understood the power of repeating falsehoods. It is now the West's compass to "erase" Russia.

True, Putin had every reason to be annoyed with Prigozhin — a "stab in the back," as he put it — when the nation was waging an existential war against sworn enemies who seek the dismemberment of Russia. But three considerations discredit the hypothesis of Putin's involvement.

Niger puts military on 'maximum alert' over ECOWAS attack fears

niger
Move comes as thousands gather at a stadium in the capital Niamey in support of the coup-makers.
The new military rulers in Niger ordered the armed forces to go on maximum alert citing an increased threat of attack.

The main West African bloc ECOWAS has been trying to negotiate with the leaders of the July 26 coup, but has said it is ready to deploy troops to restore constitutional order if diplomatic efforts fail.

An internal document issued by its defence chief, which was shared widely online on Saturday, said the order to be on the highest state of readiness would allow forces to respond adequately in case of any attack and "avoid a general surprise".

"Threats of aggression to the national territory are increasingly being felt," it said.

'Welcome to the BRICS 11'

'No mountains can stop the surging flow of a mighty river.' With the addition of six new members that add geostrategic clout and geographic depth to the once sputtering BRICS, the multilateral institution is now gathering the momentum needed to reset international relations.

In the end, History was made. Surpassing even the greatest of expectations, the BRICS nations performed a giant step for multipolarity by expanding the group to BRICS 11.

Starting on January 1, 2024, the five original BRICS members will be joined by Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

No, they won't turn into an unpronounceable BRIICSSEEUA. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed the song remains the same, with the familiar BRICS acronym to the Global South or Global Majority or "Global Globe" multilateral organization that will shape the contours of a new system of international relations.

Here is the Johannesburg II Declaration of the 15th BRICS summit. BRICS 11 is just the start. There's a long line eager to join; without referring to the dozens of nations (and counting) that have already "expressed their interest", according to the South Africans, the official list, so far, includes Algeria, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Belarus, Bolivia, Venezuela, Vietnam, Guinea, Greece, Honduras, Indonesia, Cuba, Kuwait, Morocco, Mexico, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkiye and Syria.

By next year, most of them will either become BRICS 11 partners or part of the second and third wave of fully-fledged members. The South Africans have stressed that BRICS "will not be limited to just one expansion phase."

Russia has emphasized that the bond between Moscow and Tehran will withstand foreign pressure and the Russia-Iran military ties will go ahead regardless of US-led attempts to undermine the relation.

"We are independent states and do not succumb to the dictates of the United States and its satellites," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday.

He further emphasized that there have been no changes in the two sides' collaboration within the military sector. "There are no changes, and cooperation with Iran will continue."

BRICS members have agreed to continue pushing for inclusive multilateralism while expressing concerns about "unilateral coercive measures" that put pressure on emerging economies, according to a joint declaration released on Wednesday at their 15th annual summit, held in South Africa.

The historic meeting in Johannesburg heralded a new era for BRICS. The grouping, which previously comprised Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, was joined by six other countries, including Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

In a far-ranging 26-page document, the BRICS leaders reaffirmed their commitment to mutual respect, sovereign equality, solidarity, democracy, and inclusiveness while pledging to promote "sustainable development and inclusive growth."

FEMA order surfaces for media 'blackout' of Maui disaster images

blackout
© millerversusmedia/KJNBiden and FEMA blackout order on disaster footage
Following the Maui fire disaster, there have been concerns of mishandling and a lack of transparency, with claims of media restrictions on the island.

The current media landscape seems determined to maintain a positive image of Joe Biden, especially evident in the coverage of the Hawaii incident. Two significant aspects underscore this narrative.

Firstly, there's President Biden's perceived aloofness, marked by his repeated "no comment" replies to early queries and frequent vacations during this crisis. His recent visit to Maui only magnified his public relations challenges. Secondly, there are concerns about the local administration's measures, or lack thereof, which may have exacerbated the situation. Issues like an unutilized warning system, queries about the fire's initial containment, and an alleged delay by a water management official in redirecting water to combat the flames, are notable.

Among this muffled media landscape comes an anonymous tip:

A reported FEMA letter dated August 19, 2023 that urges an official media blackout on new disaster footage. It was signed off on as Justin Angel Knighton, who is the Director of FEMA's Office of External Affairs.

After Biden admin sues Elon Musk for hiring too many Americans, Musk accuses DOJ of racism

MuskClarke

Elon Musk has accused the Department of Justice (DOJ) of racism after Democrat President Joe Biden's administration sued the entrepreneur's company SpaceX for hiring too many Americans.

As Slay News reported earlier, Biden's DOJ filed a lawsuit against Musk's SpaceX, accusing the company of "discrimination" for not hiring enough refugees. However, the DOJ's Assistant AG for Civil Rights Kristen Clarke, who is suing Musk and SpaceX for "discriminating against asylum seekers," made some awkward comments while at Harvard University.

Among Clarke's racist comments was the statement: "Melanin endows blacks with greater mental, physical, and spiritual abilities."

Musk responded to the person suing him for hiring too many Americans with: "She is super racist and proud of it."
The fact that the Biden administration is literally suing Musk's company for hiring too many Americans should terrify everyone.

Comment: US Gov wins whether Musk is forced to hire asylees/refugees or be financially penalized. Either way he pays per this mandate.
The Justice Department is suing Elon Musk's SpaceX alleging it discriminates against refugees and people who have been granted asylum.

The rocket company discouraged anyone who is not a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident from applying for a job and refused to hire refugees and people granted asylum from September 2018 to May 2022, the lawsuit filed Thursday alleges.

"Because of their citizenship status, asylees and refugees had virtually no chance of being fairly considered for or hired for a job at SpaceX," Musk said.

The lawsuit also cites a 2020 tweet from Musk, claiming U.S. law requires "at least a green card" to be hired at SpaceX that manufactures "advanced weapons and technology."

SpaceX did not respond to a request for comment.

The Justice Department began investigating SpaceX in June 2020 after receiving a complaint of employment discrimination.

The Justice Department is seeking back pay for people granted asylum and refugees who were "deterred or denied employment at SpaceX due to the alleged discrimination." It's also asking for civil penalties and policy changes from SpaceX.

'Crime against humanity' - North Korea on Japan's Fukushima move

Pyongyang has urged Tokyo to immediately halt wastewater releases into the ocean...

North Korea has called on Japan to immediately stop the release of radioactive wastewater from the destroyed Fukushima nuclear power plant into the Pacific Ocean, according to a statement shared by the KCNA news agency on Thursday.

The Japanese move "seriously threatens the lives, safety and the future of humanity," the Foreign Ministry in Pyongyang said. North Korea further accused Japan of committing an "unforgivable crime against humanity" and demanded that it be held accountable.

The statement comes after Japan announced on Thursday that it had started the release of treated radioactive water from the site of the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster into the Pacific Ocean. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida previously announced that plans include the discharge of about 1.3 million metric tons of wastewater.

Tokyo has stressed that the move has been approved by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The UN's nuclear watchdog greenlit the Japanese plan last month, stating that independent on-site testing had shown that the tritium concentration in the water was far below the operational limit, and that the impact the move would have on people and the environment would be "negligible."

Comment: Presumably all containers were equally treated and fear, at this point, is the more destructive mechanism. Do we trust the IAEA?
