Turkey turns to Russia and Iran as allies, US duplicity threat to stability

Turkey is no longer a US ally erdogan islam
Turkey is no longer a US ally Turkey has made it clear that its interests are linked to those of Russia and Iran, while the US is seen as a common threat that has crossed one big red line, while trampling over many others.

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has slammed the United States in one of his most strongly worded statements to-date. After Donald Trump promised Erdogan personally that the US would cease arming Kurdish militants in Syria, Erdogan has stated unambiguously that this is not the case.

Earlier, Erdogan came down hard on apparent US support for the illegal Fethullah Terrorist Organisation as well as stating that the US is making a grave mistake if it proceeds with recognising Jerusalem/Al-Quds as the capital of Israel.

What Russia scandal? Kushner directed Flynn to call "every member" of UN Security Council about Israeli settlements

Jared Kushner Donald Trump

Liberal mainstream media is desperate to bring down US president Trump.

In a recent Buzzfeed article detailing Michael Flynn's plea deal with Mueller, one would be goaded into thinking that Flynn's deal is the smoking gun to prove Russia helped Trump steal the election from Hillary Clinton.

Diving a bit deeper into Buzzfeed's piece shows that Trump advisor Jared Kushner directed General Michael Flynn to do his job and contact various members of the UN Security Council in relation to an Israeli settlement resolution. Why is the liberal left so giddy about a UN resolution vote connected to Israel...a vote that has absolutely nothing to do with the US election?

The Olympic plot to destabilize Putin's government

Russian olympic athlete
Beauty, brains and talent, banned from the Seoul Olympics because of dirty tricks against Russia
" ... billionaire technocrats, Zionist bankers, Swiss Nazis, corporate mainstream media, and the Queen Mother's bean counting minions with bad teeth seem to have lobbied the Olympic Committee."

The Winter Olympics are coming around once again, this time in Pyeongchang, South Korea, but the world's most iconic sporting festival won't be remembered for excellence and athleticism.

When the International Olympic Committee (IOC) banned Russia from those games, the last vestige of fairness in sport evaporated, and what was a dark cloud looming over the Olympic flame, has mutated into the worst unsportsmanlike conduct you can imagine.

Vladimir Putin entered politics at the national level in 1999, when he became first deputy prime minister, then acting prime minister, and ultimately prime minister. Russia's first president, Boris Yeltsin, announced his resignation during his 2000 New Year address, shifting his responsibilities until the next presidential election onto Putin.

Following his election in March 2000, Vladimir Putin became president and held the office for two successive terms.

"A new generation is taking over from us, a generation of those who can do more and better," Boris Yeltsin said during his 2000 New Year speech. Based on the March 2000 election results, Putin became president and held the office until 2008, when he became Prime Minister.

Delusional: Tillerson accuses Russia of "hybrid warfare" to undermine the West, wants Crimea returned to Ukraine

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Wednesday there could be no normal relations with Russia until Moscow ended its support for separatists in Ukraine and returned Crimea, in comments likely to reassure Western allies.

Speaking after a dinner where he discussed Russia with NATO foreign ministers on Tuesday, Tillerson took a tougher stance than U.S. President Donald Trump, who has sought better relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump said last month after meeting Putin in Vietnam that he believed Putin's denial of accusations that Moscow meddled in the 2016 U.S. election. That was despite U.S. intelligence agencies' evidence of Russian interference.

At NATO, Tillerson criticized "Russia's continued use of hybrid warfare" and its attempts "to undermine Western institutions" in a reference to the mix of state-sponsored computer hacks and Internet disinformation campaigns that NATO allies' intelligence agencies say is targeted at the West.

FBI agent Strzok let Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin walk away scot-free after lying to FBI

FBI agent Peter Strzok is now at the center of the Mueller special counsel investigation into Trump-Russia election collusion.

On Saturday, a bombshell report revealed that last year, the FBI veteran agent exchanged anti-Trump text messages with his mistress who is also an FBI agent.

Strzok was kicked off Mueller's team over the summer, after the Justice Department's inspector general discovered that he sent messages to FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

Comment: It seems there's a great deal of evidence that Strzok was actively working to protect Clinton during the investigation, and it seems there's as much evidence that he was working against Trump during the ongoing Mueller witch-hunt.

Why was that wrong? Flynn told associate Russia sanctions would be 'ripped up' early in Trump presidency

President Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn told a former business associate that sanctions against Russia would be "ripped up" early in the new presidency, according to a whistle-blower's account made public on Wednesday.

Within minutes of Trump's inauguration in January, Flynn informed his former associate that the plan to work with Russia to build nuclear reactors in the Middle East was "good to go," because Flynn was ensuring the sanctions would be "ripped up" as one of Trump's first orders of business.

The whistleblower's account is detailed in a letter from Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), which he sent to Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. The account was first reported by The New York Times.

Comment: Given that the sanctions on Russia are the product of a hysterical campaign to demonize that country, and that they hurt the economy of both Eurasia and the US, then getting rid of them was actually a good idea. Nothing to do with Russian 'meddling' - it was simple common sense. The fact that the Trump administration was never able to lift them just highlights that the president is not really in charge of the country. Indeed, it was the Congress - evidently working on behalf of the 'deep state' or brainwashed by it - that forced Trump to impose further sanctions.

Israel First: House passes legislation to restrict US aid to Palestinians

House passes legislation to restrict US aid to PalestiniansTaylor Force Act, named after US West Point graduate who was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist in 2016, receives overwhelming support in Republican-led House, as lawmakers slam the 'downright disgusting ... pay to slay' scheme by the PA which they say 'incentivizes terrorism.'

The Republican-led House easily approved legislation Tuesday that would restrict financial aid that directly benefits the Palestinian Authority until it takes credible steps to end what lawmakers say is a practice of rewarding Palestinians who kill Americans and Israelis.

The legislation, which passed by voice vote, reflects bipartisan outrage over what members of Congress have called a "pay to slay" program endorsed by the Palestinian Authority.

Rep. Ed Royce, R-Calif., the House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman, said the program "incentivizes terrorism."

Medvedev: Olympic ban decision deliberately made ahead of Russian elections

The anti-doping situation in Russia has been improving and now it is not worse than in other countries, Medvedev said

The International Olympic Committee's decision to bar Russia from taking part in the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics was made, in part, with the intention of influencing the mood in Russian society in the run-up to the presidential election due next March, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a government meeting on Thursday.

"The International Olympic Committee's decision has one more aspect, which is understandable to everyone, especially in the current situation. This is the political component. This decision was made in the run-up to the elections in our country, the presidential election with an eye to shaping the appropriate sentiment in society," he said.

House overwhelmingly votes to defeat Democrat Al Green's bid to impeach Trump

Democratic leaders call effort premature, citing ongoing probes

The House tossed aside an attempt by Rep. Al Green on Wednesday to bring articles of impeachment against President Trump.

Many Democrats joined the Republican majority in voting, 364-58, to table the resolution from Mr. Green, Texas Democrat, after Democratic leaders said Mr. Trump's actions may be upsetting to the party, but that talk of impeachment was premature.

"Legitimate questions have been raised about his fitness to lead this nation. Right now, Congressional committees continue to be deeply engaged in investigations into the President's actions both before and after his inauguration," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer said in a joint statement. "The special counsel's investigation is moving forward as well, and those inquiries should be allowed to continue. Now is not the time to consider articles of impeachment."
