The US effort to preserve its global dominance is a costly endeavor based on threats and keeping the American people in the dark about what is going on, told RT former US congressman and libertarian politician Ron Paul.

Paul, who heads an institute named after himself, says he and his colleagues are trying to alert Americans about the dangers of Washington's foreign policy, which, he believes, will ultimately be detrimental to American interest.

Hillary Clinton makes a fool of herself by bashing Kavanaugh with debunked fake news claim

Hillary Clinton came out swinging against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, bashing the judge for his hardline statements against contraception. The problem: he never said them.

Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings dragged on over three bitter days last week, as Democrats took the judge to task over his opinions on abortion, gun rights, affirmative action, and the president's executive authority.

One encounter in particular drew Clinton's attention. While being questioned by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Kavanaugh appeared to refer to birth control pills as "abortion-inducing drugs." A video of the encounter was shared by Democratic Rep. Kamala Harris, who described Kavanaugh's comparison as "a dog whistle for going after birth control," the term 'dog whistle' being a nonsensical 'woke' liberal term for covertly signalling support for extreme views.

Clinton pounced on Wednesday, describing in a six-tweet rant how Kavanaugh was dog-whistling to the "extreme right," how he "misunderstands the basic science of birth control," and how "safe and legal abortion isn't the only fundamental reproductive right at grave risk if he is confirmed."

Did the FBI & DOJ participate in a politically-motivated 'leak strategy' aimed at Trump?

A congressman has claimed that newly obtained communications show that fired FBI agent Peter Strzok leaked information to the press that was later used to justify surveillance on Trump officials.

Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) said that previously-unexamined text messages between Strzok and his lover, DOJ lawyer Lisa Page, show that the former FBI agent had a clear political motivation when he leaked to the press.

US dollar dominance jeopardized by Russia-China alliance - Max Keiser

dollar eye signs glasses

The cementing of relations between Moscow and Beijing means a new multipolar world with more bilateral trade and different centers of currency concentration and power, according to RT host Max Keiser.

He says that the new Russia-China alliance could not be taken on by the US militarily which means that "the US dollar is in grave jeopardy of losing its status as the world's reserve currency."

Washington is "very aggressive in defending its currency, it tends to bomb anybody who tries to ignore the dollar," Keiser said, adding that if Russia and China pull off the alliance then the greenback will start crumbling.

"So, this is a totally new century, we've got a new multipolar world, the US really has to start tap dancing to a different tune if they want to participate or be left out."

Star of David

"Israel did 9/11, not Muslims. Anyone thinking otherwise 17 years on, is an idiot"

TwinTowersStarDavid

It's been 17 years. 17 long, hard and savagely bloody years that have left tens of millions murdered, maimed and displaced in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Libya, Syria, Yemen, occupied Palestine, Lebanon, Mali, Nigeria and occupied Kashmir. GWOT, the Global War on Terror, has raped the world. And it's all because of what happened at the Twin Towers and the Pentagon on this day, September 11th, in 2001. -T.H.E.Y. - The Hebrews Enslaving You told you, the Goyim, i.e. the 99% majority here on this beautiful little sphere of blue and green called Earth, that Muslims did it. That's right. Those damn Muslamics. Hating 'Murica for its freedom. Being all towel-headed and terroristy! Moozlemicals bypassed the half-trillion dollar air defense system of the US in the most closely-guarded, maximum-security airspace in the world all to trigger an unending war on the Islamicate. Makes perfect sense. Right? I mean... Seriously? Like... for real, for real? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.

At this stage, 17 years in, with all the evidence from engineers, architects, professors, intelligence whistleblowers, military analysts, heads of state and more, if you don't know that the official 9/11 story is the biggest pile of bullshit this side of Wagyu farms in Japan, you're an idiot. Simple and plain. A total moron. We're talking planetary stupidity here. Because two planes can't pulverize three buildings - we call that the STMT... Shlomo's Talmudic Mathematical Theorem. Jet fuel doesn't burn hot enough to melt steel. The "hijackers" weren't capable of flying a single-engine Cesna, let alone 757s and 767s. On this point, let's also note that some of the "hijackers" are actually still alive. Boxcutters? A laptop and some cell phones? Run from Afghanistan's caves around 7,000 miles away from NYC? Were you dropped on your head as a kid or did you just get this imbecilic recently? Passports ain't flame-retardant. NORAD doesn't stand down on its own. F-16 interceptors don't stand down on their own either. Osama Bin Laden was a longstanding agent of the CIA who denied having anything to do with 9/11 in his last actual interview and pointed the finger at the very people we'll be discussing herein. He also died from health-related issues, not a Seal Team 6 raid. And more. So much more. You get the gist of it.

Those of you who know this though and have seen the light - and there are more of you than the mainstream media cares to admit - and who are just looking for that missing piece; that... WHO... Then we're going to call a dradle a dradle, a menorah a menorah and a six-pointed star a six-pointed star and drill it into your head the way that the Sanhedrin drills Christ-hatred into the heads of yeshiva students. You picking up what I'm putting down? Here. These are just SOME - you read that right, SOME - of the names that the Monsters don't want you to call out when you're discussing 9/11:

Haidar Abadi falls with the burned walls of the Iranian consulate in Basra

Protesters march Iraq
© Unknown
The US favourite candidate for the prime ministership Haidar Abadi lost his last chance to renew his mandate for a second term when riots caused arson around the southern city of Basra and burned down the walls of the Iranian consulate in the city. While the inhabitants demonstrated for their justified demands (fresh water, electricity, job opportunities and infrastructure), sponsored groups with different agendas mixed with the crowds and managed to burn down offices, ambulances, a government building and school associated with al-Hashd al-Shaabi and other anti-US political groups. This mob behaviour forced Sayyed Moqtada al-Sadr, leader of 54 MPs, to drop his political partner Abadi and to put an end to his political carreer. Moqtada sought to distance himself from the events in Basra in order to let the blame fall on Abadi alone. He has joined the side of the winning horse, that of Iran.

Iraqi political parties had been divided into two camps: one supported by the US and led by Abadi and Moqtada, and another, led by Nuri al Maliki and Hadi al Ameri, defying the US and aligned with pro-Iran groups. The latter coalition had Faleh al-Fayyadi as their candidate and shared the goal of creating one big Shia coalition along with the Sunni.

In the Basra events of last week 16 were killed and 195 wounded. The prime minister ad interim Haidar Abadi tried to control the riots by imposing a curfew and then lifting it three times. When the situation got out of hand, Moqtada al Sadr took his distance, pushing his MPs to request the resignation of his political partner Haidar Abadi. Sources within Moqtada's inner circle told me that Moqtada never promoted Abadi as the future prime minister even if he was supporting Abadi's group.

Comment: Worn out its never-welcomed occupation in Syria, the US needs Iraq more than Iraq needs the US. In its quest to destroy Iranian influence and partnerships, Iraq is a geo-political essential. Control is key and the events in Basra have all the earmarks of a US/Arab-instigated revolution.

Interview with Dinesh D'Souza: "Death of a Nation" exposes Dem's big lie

Death of a Nation
© deathofanationmovie.com
New York Times best-selling author Dinesh D'Souza explains the truth that Democrats hide and lie about: It it is their party that has been anti-black.

In an explosive new film that Rotten Tomatoes' critics gave a "zero percent" rating, but audiences gave a "90 percent" score, conservative commentator Dinesh D'Souza exposes the Democratic Party's "big lie" that President Donald Trump, Republicans, and conservatives are racists and fascists.

In the film Death of a Nation: Can We Save America a Second Time? the New York Times best-selling author argues that Democrats and progressives are the intellectual heirs of the slavery of African-Americans and genocide of Native Americans, and that their policies helped inspire the Nazis and the Holocaust.

The film, which is igniting a national debate about the largely unknown and long-hidden history of the Democratic Party, compares the political environment Trump faces today with the one that America's first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln, experienced during the Civil War.

"I think the response [to the film] has been fantastic," D'Souza says:

The audiences love the movie, and it's very revealing, if you go on Rotten Tomatoes - which is sort of the official movie review site - the professional critics, who are almost entirely on the left, like the movie zero percent. The audience ranked it at (90 percent on August 11).

Question

Is the US ditching Ankara or expanding dominance as it seeks a more strategic military presence in Greece?

USJoint Staff meet
© US Joint Staff/Global Look PressMarine Corps Gen. Joe Dunford meets with Greek Navy Adm. Evangelos Apostolakis on 4 September, 2018.
The US is looking to boost its military presence in Greece, citing the viable "geographical position" of the country. However, this may actually indicate preparations for a potential breakup with major ally Turkey.

The prospects for strengthening military cooperation between Washington and Athens have come under the spotlight following the recent visit of the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph Dunford, to Greece.
"If you look at geography, and you look at current operations in Libya, and you look at current operations in Syria, you look at potential other operations in the eastern Mediterranean, the geography of Greece and the opportunities here are pretty significant," Dunford said last week.
The top military official insisted, however, that an increased use of bases in Greece is not tied to strained relations between the US and Turkey, and that Washington is looking forward to continuing its use of Turkish Incirlik Air Base - one of the main hubs for US military activities in the Middle East.

A new report from the Wall Street Journal suggests, however, that the shift towards Greece might have "geopolitical" factors behind it, apart from purely "geographical," as General Dunford put it. The Pentagon is in talks with Athens about the expansion of US military operations on Greek soil in a "potential move toward the eastern Mediterranean amid growing tensions with Turkey," unnamed US sources told the newspaper.

Comment: Turkey rides the fence between the Russia and the US, never fully committing to one side or the other. In this sense it is useful but not reliable. If we look back far enough, we may find Greece has been a target on the US' back burner for a long time. Screwed over by the IMF and left with a decades-long debilitating economic crisis, its circumstances may play right into US hands. See also:

Pompeo insists Saudi coalition exercises caution in Yemen but facts show that's a lie

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has told Congress that the governments of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are doing enough to protect civilians in their campaign in Yemen. The facts however, tell a different story.

Pompeo said in a certification statement Wednesday that ending the three-year conflict is a national security priority for President Donald Trump, and that the US will "continue to work closely with the Saudi-led coalition," to end the war.

The certification is a requirement of the National Defense Authorization Act, an annual bill that sets out the US military's vast budget and policies for the coming year. President Trump signed the 2019 NDAA into law in August.

Comment: Pompeo comes from the CIA climate where all actions are acceptable and accountability has no meaning.
