Flashback SOTT Focus: What War Was Trump Trying to Stop by Killing Iranian General Soleimani?

trump netanyahu
The day after two US drones fired missiles that killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, President Trump gave a press conference where he explained his action by saying: "We took action last night to stop a war. We do not take action to start a war."

To what war was Trump referring?

Dems complain that reporting Biden's Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen earns MILLIONS from Wall Street speeches is SEXIST

janet yellen
© Reuters / Leah MillisJanet Yellen is shown speaking to reporters on December 1 in Delaware, after being chosen by President-elect Joe Biden as Treasury secretary nominee.
Politico is being branded as misogynistic by Democrats, including media figures, for daring to report on the millions of dollars that incoming Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen made in Wall Street speaking fees.

Yellen, whom President-elect Joe Biden chose as his nominee for Treasury chief in November, made more than $7.2 million in speaking fees from Wall Street banks and other large corporations in the past two years, Politico reported on Friday. Yellen, who stepped down as Federal Reserve Bank chairwoman in 2018, brought in nearly $1 million from speeches given for Citibank and more than $800,000 from hedge fund Citadel.

Politico noted that financial disclosures filed by Yellen and two other Biden cabinet picks could erode support from left-wing Democrats. But the party faithful were circling the wagons on Friday and focused their outrage on Politico for reporting on Yellen's Wall Street riches.

Life under the Great Reset: What the future might look like in 2021 if the controlling elites have their way

With vaccine rollouts underway, humanity looks set to win the fight against the coronavirus. But some elites planning a post-coronavirus 'Great Reset' don't want to go back to normal. Here's what they have planned instead.

As lockdowns and mask mandates became a part of daily life over the last year, politicians the world over asked their citizenry to accept "The New Normal." The phrase became ubiquitous, but as vaccines inched closer to deployment, that phrase was replaced with a new one, "The Great Reset," used to describe the monumental changes to human society needed in a post-coronavirus world.

Unveiled in May by Britain's Prince Charles and the World Economic Forum's Klaus Schwab, the 'Great Reset' is an ambitious plan to create a more equal, cashless, integrated and sustainable global society. World leaders have seemingly signed up to the plan, with its catchphrase, "Build Back Better" featured prominently in incoming US President Joe Biden's campaign messaging.

Comment: The establishment have their dastardly plans but there is still a chance - probably the last chance - for people to see through their blatant lies and to begin to live their lives accordingly: And check out SOTT radio's:

There are reports tonight that Beijing Biden canceled his inaugural parade.

We are still looking to confirm this.

However, we know for certain the parade viewing stands were taken down this week.

Comment: Hmmm. This has a familiar ring to it:

Do they already know the result? Clinton campaign cancels celebratory fireworks five days before election night

How Israel deployed an intelligence deception to justify killing scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh
Israel's Mossad has spent years on a propaganda campaign aimed at convincing the world Iran possessed a nuclear weapons program - and legitimizing its assassinations of Iranian academics.
The Israeli assassination of Iranian defense official Mohsen Fakhrizadeh is being treated as a triumph of Israeli intelligence, with ubiquitous references in the New York Times and other major media outlets to the killing of "Iran's top nuclear scientist". In fact, Israel's Mossad intelligence agency eliminated Fakhrizadeh, a defense official, despite the knowledge that its public depiction of him as the key architect of an Iranian nuclear weapons program was a deception.

For years, US media outlets have portrayed Fakhrizadeh as Iran's equivalent to J. Robert Oppenheimer, marketing him to the public as the mastermind behind an Iranian version of the Manhattan Project. This image was developed primarily through a carefully constructed Israeli disinformation operation based on documents that displayed signs of fabrication.

Red Flag

The gray curtain descends

Let's dispense with the obscenity that expressed intentions excuse all crimes and consequences.

It's a close contest between which officially approved story is more implausible: Coronavirus as the Scourge of Humanity or America's Free and Fair Election. The former enabled the latter, and they were propagated by the same people pursuant to an all-in power grab. Both are riddled with glaring inconsistencies and fraud, none of which are mentioned in polite society.
It was strange, she thought, to obtain news by means of nothing but denials, as if existence had ceased, facts had vanished and only the frantic negatives uttered by officials and columnists gave any clue to the reality they were denying.

Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand, 1957
The stories' propagators don't address the inconsistencies and fraud because they can't; they simply deny their existence. They suppress questions, inquiry, and exploration of actual evidence and facts, and promote mindless slogans. The legacy media censorship has been overt, but not as effective as hoped, thanks in large part to the alternative media. The censorship itself is a red flag. If the approved stories are Shining Truth, why can't they bear challenge?

Republicans must stop the big banks from destroying the First Amendment with 'financial deplatforming'

Mitch McConnell and other
© revolvernews
Right now, the single most existential threat to free speech in America is the rise of financial deplatforming. If conservatives want to preserve the ability to think and speak freely in the decades to come, they must act to prevent the country's most powerful financial institutions from imposing a brutal censorship regime on the entire country.

Lenin never actually said "the capitalists will sell us the rope with which to hang them," but that apocryphal quote exactly describes the present-day hapless Republican party's relationship to Big Tech and the left. In Congress and across fifty state legislatures, the GOP's shortsighted support for laissez-fair economics is allowing left-wing corporations to plot their destruction.

Conservative writer Bay Buchanan recently summed up the danger in a piece for CNS News:
"Time and time again, corporations [have] bent the knee before outraged activists and stifled the free speech of ordinary Americans. We see this when social media giants regularly censor and ban individuals who run afoul of liberal orthodoxy. ... Less noticed is the threat of financial de-platforming. This growing menace means those who dissent from the official left-wing line won't even be allowed to bank or use a credit card."
Throughout the Trump era, the left has increasingly leveraged its cozy relationships with oligarchic corporations to make it difficult or impossible for patriots to raise money or obtain other financial services essential to modern life.

Iranian Foreign Minister: 'Intel shows Israel plotting strikes on US forces in Iraq to trap Trump in Middle East war'

Zarif/Trump
© azertac/AP/Patrick SemanskyIran FM Mohammad Javad Zarif • US President Donald Trump
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif urged U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday not to be "trapped" by an alleged Israeli plan to provoke a war through attacks on U.S. forces in Iraq. He issued the warning on the anniversary of the U.S. killing of top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani by a drone strike in Iraq. There was no immediate comment by Israel.

Washington blames Iran-backed militia for regular rocket attacks on U.S. facilities in Iraq, including near the U.S. embassy. No known Iran-backed groups have claimed responsibility.

"New intelligence from Iraq indicate(s) that Israeli agent-provocateurs are plotting attacks against Americans — putting an outgoing Trump in a bind with a fake casus belli (act justifying war)," Zarif said in a tweet.

"Be careful of a trap, @realDonaldTrump. Any fireworks will backfire badly," Zarif wrote.

Comment: It's interesting to see the Iranian govt publicly give Trump a tip-off about Israeli subterfuge. We suspect similar (though private) cooperation was central to the assassination of IRGC General Soleimani last year.

$2,000 stimulus checks dead as Democrats give away leverage on defense bill

Schumer
© MediaPunch/BACKGRIDSenate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer
President Trump's request for $2,000 COVID-19 stimulus checks is essentially dead after Senate Democrats on Friday gave up on using a $740 billion defense bill as leverage.

The Senate easily cleared the 60 vote threshold to proceed to a vote on making the defense bill law over Trump's veto.

Democrats led by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders had used the override vote as a last stand in favor of the $2,000 checks, which passed the House on Monday. The Senate overrode Trump's veto ahead of the start of the next session of Congress on Sunday. It was the first veto override of Trump's presidency.

Trump vetoed the defense bill because it did not repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which shields social media companies that host third-party content and because it seeks to hamstring his drawdown of troops in Afghanistan from 4,500 in November to 2,500 by Jan. 15. He also opposed a provision forcing the renaming of 10 military bases that honor Confederates.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky) refused to allow a vote on the proposed $2,000 checks unless Democrats agreed to repeal legal protections for social media companies and to establish a voter fraud commission.

Any bill to increase just-approved $600 checks to $2,000 will need to again pass the House and then the Senate.

Comment: Congressional priorities? They are not: the welfare of the public, nor the future of the country!

Video released of vans removing ballots from GA warehouse with armed guards to Sherrif Jackson's office - They got a map!

Patrick Byrne

Former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne dropped a teaser on Twitter on New Year's Day.

According to Patrick he learned this morning, on New Year's Day, that he learned something very important from a certified forensic document examiner about certain ballots in certain counties in a certain state. Byrne says they are going to lynch every politician involved in this scheme. Starting with a certain governor and Secretary of State.

Patrick followed up that the information must go through the lawyers before it is released. Later today Patrick released photos from the Fulton County Warehouse where the ballots were stored. However, those ballots were reportedly tampered with as we reported earlier.

Comment: Caught ya! Pallets of fake ballots identified, filmed and sampled:
And what's with the 'broken water main'?
The fraudulent ballots that were shipped from Arizona were addressed to a Mr. Dwight Brower with the Fulton County Department of Voter Registration and Elections. He appears to be involved in election fraud based on his being involved in receiving these tens of thousands of fake ballots.
The Fulton County whistleblower who alleged improper ballot processing in an affidavit was removed from working as a poll manager or in any polling positions for the runoff election. It is unclear whether this decision will extend to future elections...Fulton County Elections Consultant Dwight Brower signed off on the letter. On election night last month, Brower was one of the officials that told reporters that a hours-long counting delay was due to a burst water pipe.

"There was a pipe that burst in the room where we actually had ballots; thank goodness that none of those ballots were damaged," Brower told The Atlanta Journal Constitution. Subsequent reports from other officials discovered that a pipe hadn't burst, as election officials originally claimed.
There was no water main break in State Farm Arena in Atlanta election day.
So who's colluding with whom?
The Arizona firm who is named as the sender of the alleged fraudulent ballots sent to Georgia which were uncovered in a warehouse in Fulton County, has very close ties to the Democrat Party. The ballots had mailing instructions on them which showed that the firm mailing the ballots was from Arizona.

Rey Valenzuela, the Director of Elections for Maricopa County Arizona is listed on the front page of Runbeck's website. He provides the one and only testimony of Runbeck where he shares:
Runbeck Elections is a subject matter expert on process. They are always involved and want to know more. Runbeck is reliant as a partner not a vendor; their competence helps them identify issues before they become an issue.
