Daniel Ortega set to win Nicaraguan election, Western powers throw hissy fit

Nicaragua's authoritarian leaders, Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo, appeared to have secured another five years in power in an election that the US president, Joe Biden, condemned as an undemocratic "pantomime".

In the early hours of Monday, Nicaragua's supreme electoral council said Ortega, a one-time revolutionary who has governed continuously since 2007, had received 75% of votes, with about half of the 1.3m ballots counted.

During a rare public appearance on Sunday, Ortega, a former Marxist guerrilla who helped defeat the US-backed Somoza dictatorship in the 1970s, painted the election as a choice between the peace and economic stability he claimed to offer and the conflict, chaos and "terror" of the opposition.

"This is a historic battle," declared the 75-year-old Sandinista, who was seeking re-election alongside his influential vice-president and wife, Rosario Murillo.

Comment: More lies from so-called experts. The National Endowment for Democracy led an unsuccessful coup against Ortega with 54 projects to overthrow Ortega from 2013-2017, with the 2018 failed coup being the culmination of their efforts. Students were used as pawns and provocateurs were inserted at protests who fired at police. The formula is well known across the global chess board.

Unsurprisingly, the US is refusing to recognize the results and last week laid out their plan to destroy Nicaragua's economy because reality hasn't conformed to their delusions. From Sputnik:
US Special Envoy to the Northern Triangle Ricardo Zúñiga said that Ortega's rule is "a dictatorship that lacks any democratic mandate," adding that Nicaragua's dismantling of democratic culture and institutions requires a strong regional response.

"No one is fooled by the false election on November 7," Zúñiga told reporters, adding that "joint measures must be taken to limit the [government's] resources to repress the population."His comments came just after the Organization of American States (OAS) published a report denouncing the vote and saying that "the international community must demand the annulment of the elections on Sunday, November 7, and call for the holding of a new electoral process, with guarantees, electoral observation and true electoral competition."

Last week, the US Congress passed the Reinforcing Nicaragua's Adherence to Conditions for Electoral Reform (RENACER) Act, which laid out a framework for crippling the Central American nation's economy. As Sputnik noted at the time, the plan involves sanctioning individuals in Ortega's government and blocking international financial transactions along the lines of those used against Venezuela in the two years leading up to the 2019 US-backed coup attempt by opposition politician Juan Guaido.

First-ever known drone attack against US electricity grid, DHS reports

Last year, US authorities reported a series of incidents involving unidentified drones buzzing US infrastructure and military assets. However, none of the past reported cases were known to involve direct attacks on facilities or equipment.

A modified drone which crashed near a Pennsylvania power substation in July 2020 was "likely being used...to specifically target energy infrastructure," a law enforcement bulletin by the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and the National Counterterrorism Center has revealed.

The memo, obtained by ABC News and CNN, said that authorities still do not know what individual or group may have been operating the drone, which crashed on a roof close to the substation. No details were provided on which power facility was targeted, and no damage was reported. The memo did not specify the cause of the crash.

Comment: It remains to be seen just who is behind the recent attack, but the incident brings to mind a number of other events, such as the spate of drone sightings above France's nuclear power stations back in 2014; the sightings of "drones" at UK airports in 2018; the unexplained blackouts striking a number of different cities; and more recently the so-called tic tac UFO videos released by the US military.

These incidents also share similarities with the unidentified "sonic attack" on the US embassy in Cuba reported in 2016, as well as the ransomware hacks. These cyberattacks have, coincidentally or not, been occurring with a greater frequency since the warning of a future 'cyberpandemic' by the Great Reset gang at the World Economic Forum's Cyber Polygon event in January 2020:

Asked if she had a plan to lower the skyrocketing gasoline prices at US pumps, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm laughed it off as a "hilarious" idea, before falling back on the Biden administration's talking points about OPEC.

Granholm, who is in Glasgow for the COP26 UN climate summit, appeared on Bloomberg TV on Friday morning to talk about Biden's energy agenda. Asked what the "Granholm plan" would be for lowering the prices at the pump, she leaned back and laughed.

"That is hilarious. Would that I had the magic wand on this," she said, then pivoted to arguing that high oil prices are due to a "global" cartel and therefore not something the US can do much about.

Speaking from the private jet and super yacht owners gathering, otherwise known as the COP 26 summit, Al Gore touted his latest solution to curb carbon emissions, mass surveillance via satellites, sensors and artificial intelligence.

In the interview with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell, Gore declared that technology created by the so called Climate TRACE coalition will monitor greenhouse gas emissions and root out the culprits.

"We get data consistently from 300 existing satellites, more than 11,000 ground-based, air-based, sea-based sensors, multiple internet data streams and using artificial intelligence," Gore explained, adding "All that information is combined, visible light, infrared, all of the other information that is brought in, and we can now accurately determine where the greenhouse gas emissions are coming from."

There is a curious story out this weekend on reported FBI raids of writers or associates of Project Veritas, the conservative investigative journalism outfit. Project Veritas has been described variously as "Gonzo" or "guerilla" journalism and some insist it is more of a political than a press organization. However, it fits the definition of journalism, in my view, and that makes the raids troubling. All the more troubling is the cause: the missing diary of President Biden's daughter Ashley. [Update: The FBI reportedly also raided O'Keefe's home]

The New York Times reported that the FBI searched two locations in New York in search of the "stolen" diary that went missing days before the 2020 presidential election. Project founder James O'Keefe questioned how the Times received the story within an hour of the first raid.

While the United States descends deeper into the quagmire of woke insanity, where school students are being inundated with mask mandates, sexed-up studies and critical race theory, the residents of the nation's second largest state have a message for Joe Biden and the Democrats: 'Don't Mess with Texas'.

Ever since Biden shuffled into the White House, with a pack of crazed Cultural Marxists in tow, Texans have been attempting to distance themselves from the leftist blob now engulfing large swaths of the country. From passing the most restrictive abortion measures in the country, to battling the draconian mask and vaccine mandates enforced by the Democrat-controlled White House, Texas is living up to its rebellious, Lone Star nature.

For many Texans, however, like Senator Ted Cruz, the legal bulwark being erected against the encroaching madness is not enough. In order to fully inoculate themselves from the creeping virus of hyper-liberal progressivism, Cruz believes that Texas' secession from the United States is an option that cannot be ruled out.

Joe Biden has only been the lesser of two evils for privileged white people thus far. The Democratic Party is where movements go to die. Joe Biden killed the immigration justice movement and the #MeToo movement the same way that Barack Obama killed the anti-war movement and Occupy Wall Street. Conservatives are intellectual light weights who, at the end of the day, always lose the battle of ideas. The number one threat to social movements and the barrier to change are the white moderates, who play interference for the forces of oppression. Liberals attempt to justify crimes against humanity committed by the institutions they prop up, by blaming their failures on mismanagement. This is why I feared Joe Biden. It was so obvious Joe Biden was going to put liberal activists to sleep because they viewed him as a competent manager.

Comment: It is obvious Washington has become a battleground of revenge and self-service, versus the servant of the people. If we are disillusioned, if we are not represented, it is ours to address, correct and hold accountable.

Some qualifiers to points addressed in the article:

- Media pictures of children in cages, falsely attributed to Trump by MSM, were from the Obama presidency.

- Consider the numbers of migrants during Trump's discouragement policies and protocol, versus Biden's free-for-all without end in sight - growing worse by the day. It is hardly a viable comparison. Biden, by abolishing control policies, is being forced to expel. Meanwhile, reports indicate Biden is clandestinely flying night deliveries of young migrants to destinations around the country.

- Ice age approaches. It is this climate change that is not being addressed and cannot be reversed.

Moscow has said that a visa crisis hampering travel between the US and Russia can be fixed, but only if the American side is ready to make concessions and restore the functions of its consulates across the world's largest country.

In a statement issued on Monday, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said there were hopes to rescue struggling bilateral ties after US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland visited Moscow last month for talks.

According to Zakharova, Nuland has a "specific task" to solve the impasse over travel permits, which has seen American diplomats cease to process all non-immigration visas from the country since May. Instead, Russians have been told to apply for entry to the US through a 'homeless nationalities' scheme. Washington blames the situation on a ban on hiring local and foreign staff, and has suspended work in its Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok consulates.
"If they want to move on from this, into any future state of normal bilateral relations, including in this area, they must undertake a number of practical steps. They need to unblock the situation in which they've run themselves into a dead end."
Zakharova went on, saying US President Joe Biden's administration has it within its power to fix the crisis.

While indirect talks over a prisoner exchange between Hamas and Israel continue without any concrete progress, Gaza's armed groups threaten retaliation to any deaths which may occur amongst Palestinian political prisoners inside Israeli jails. This already volatile and tense scenario has been further complicated with the release of a video of two alleged Mossad agents.

Late Friday night, an investigative program aired by Al-Jazeera's Arabic channel broadcast footage claimed to have been filmed and leaked to them by a little known group called 'Hurriyeh' (Freedom). The documentary, which focuses on abuses carried out against Palestinian prisoners in Israel's military prisons, claims the two were Israeli agents who were "executing secret security missions outside Israel."

Malfeasance behind the FDA Vax OK for children

On October 27 the US Food and Drug Administration Advisory Panel on Vaccines recommended the agency allow Pfizer to amend its Emergency Use Authorization for its COVID vaccine to include children 5 through 11 years old. Two days later the FDA officially approved the rollout. Major media are treating this as a positive development to protect young children. On closer inspection it is anything but that. The FDA is today shockingly corrupt under the Acting Director and is little more than a rubber stamp for Big Pharma, and especially Pfizer, where the former FDA head sits on the board.

The FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee voted 17 to 0, with one abstention, to give a green light allowing Emergency Use Authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech experimental mRNA to children between 5 and 12 years. The expert who abstained later explained he did so because of limited safety and efficacy data provided. Previously the FDA had approved the vaccine for 12 and older. Adding to the stench of corruption around the latest vote, the Biden Administration a week earlier announced it had already purchased enough Pfizer vaccine to inoculate all 28 million 5- to 11-year-olds in the US. Did they know the fix was in?

'...Just the Way it Goes'

The record of the FDA, the major drug oversight agency in the US Government, regarding safety and risks of the experimental gene-altered mRNA vaccines of Pfizer, is one of criminal malfeasance, defined as willful violation of a public trust or obligation that causes harm or death. Their latest ruling is even more egregious for blatant conflicts of interest and scientific fraud. Both Pfizer, who conducted the tests on the efficacy of their own vaccine on the 5-11 year age group, and the FDA experts, admitted that they had no idea if the vaccine was safe for such a young population.
