MSNBC's Brian Williams equates Antifa with D-Day veterans

Antifa

Comment: The bought and paid for elite-conceived propaganda supporting culturally Marxist, ideologically possessed and unhinged radical lefitsts - doesn't get more blatant (or as bad) as this folks!

On the eve of the 77th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, MSNBC aired an ad from The Lincoln Project that called the soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy members of "Antifa" — the left-wing group responsible for mass political violence nationwide.

Brian Williams closed Friday's edition of "The 11th Hour" by showing a portion of the ad, which opens by asking, "Who is Antifa?"

Williams presented the video as a patriotic homage to the Greatest Generation. "Last thing before we go tonight, an important anniversary [is] coming up this weekend," Williams said. "We hope you can take a moment and remember it."

He went on to call Operation Overlord "beyond bold; it was outlandish. Over 150,000 men invad[ed] the French coastline under withering German fire to begin their march across Europe, where they would go on to win World War II 336 days later."

"While others will debate whether or not we could possibly mount such a thing today as broken as we are, there was a time when we saved the world from tyranny and fascism," Williams continued. "If it wasn't our finest hour, it's hard to say what was. And the folks at The Lincoln Project are out with a reminder to all."

Police reveal no guests at party where Sasha Johnson was shot have come forward

No guests at a busy party where Black Lives Matter activist Sasha Johnson was shot have come forward with information, police say.

The mum-of-two, 27, was left fighting for her life after being gunned down in Southwark, south London two weeks ago.

She had been at a garden bash attended by around 30 people - but, so far, none of the guests have spoken out as witnesses, it is said.

The Met launched a probe in the immediate aftermath and arrested five males in connection with the incident.

Comment: Does this speak to the milieu of those attending the party, many of whom are likely involved in the same causes as the victim?

Believe your own eyes about Fauci e-mails, not the fact checkers

Dr.Antony Fauci

Reading through the 4,000-plus pages of Dr. Fauci's emails - where's the bottle of Visine? - has not been the most exciting of literary experiences, but it certainly has been revealing.

After all, Dr. Fauci was the US architect of the lockdowns that smashed all that we believed was true in the good 'ol US of A; namely that we had rights and freedoms and a system of government that protected both. Suddenly we found ourselves housebound by law, prevented from going to concerts, movies, church, or even to the hospital if we didn't have Covid-19 (health care spending fell 6% in 2020).

So, yes, these emails are remarkable. You want to know what this guy was thinking? How and why did he convince President Trump to shut down major parts of the economy? These emails provide hints and clues as to what he was thinking before and after. They are a major key to understanding, and investigators of all sorts will be scouring through them for years.

Whatever you do, however, don't you dare call them a "leak" even though if Fauci had his druthers, they surely would not have been leaked; whoops, I mean released through multiple FOIA requests. The fact checkers are all over that misuse of terms, such that USA Today offers a marmish corrective to anyone who would use that term, while the Washington Post offers a mini-treatise assuring people that they do not say what you think they say.

Say it over and over until it becomes true: there are no smoking guns herein!

Comment: After the public release of Fauci's e-mails, the whole narrative of the PTB about the dangerous virus and the tyrannical inhuman measures that were supposed to protect us is just tumbling down.

The question is, who decided to publish his e-mails, and why are all the manipulations and lies about the false Covid pandemic being exposed now?
An epidemiologist and professor at Stanford University said Dr. Anthony Fauci's credibility is "shot" after his recently released emails showed him flip-flopping on the use of masks.
"I think his credibility is entirely shot," said Jay Bhattacharya, a professor of medicine, during a segment on The Ingraham Angle.
The Stanford professor said people will have a hard time trusting Fauci after his emails, which have recently been made public through Freedom of Information Act requests, show that he did not initially think face masks were effective.
"I think he's been all over the place on masks," Bhattacharya said. "There are emails you can find in the treasure trove of emails that have been released where he acknowledged that the virus is aerosolized — well, the cloth masks people have been recommending, they're not very particular[ly] effective against aerosolized viruses."
Fauci first said masks were not effective, and even privately told one person as much, before reversing his advisement on the matter.
"Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading the infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection," he said in one of the recently released emails.

"The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out the virus, which is small enough to pass through the material," he wrote. "It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you. I do not recommend that you wear a mask, particularly since you are going to a very low-risk location."
Bhattacharya said he was not sure what spurred the flip-flop from saying masks were not effective to imploring the country to stay vigilant on mask-wearing.
"I really don't understand his back-and-forth, and his answer made absolutely no sense," he said.
Yeah, you should change your mind when the science changes. But what is that science that changed that convinced him that masks are the most effective way?" the professor asked.

Fauci ultimately agreed that face masks should be universally worn, advice that has been adhered to by most businesses and states across the country.

Nearly 80% of surveyed Americans won't change their mind and get COVID-19 vaccine, as inoculation rates threaten Biden's July 4 goal

A new poll has found that Americans refusing a Covid-19 vaccination are highly unlikely to change their minds as inoculation rates have also significantly dropped.

More than three in four adults (78%) who have thus far refused to get a Covid-19 vaccination say they are unlikely to change their minds in the future, according to a new Gallup poll. Of that group, 51% say they are "highly unlikely" to change their minds.

Approximately 20% of people who are hesitant to receive a vaccine say they are open to changing their stance, with only 2% saying they are "highly likely" to eventually be convinced to get inoculated.

The poll - conducted among over 3,500 adults with a margin of error of 3% - could spell bad news for President Joe Biden's ambitious goal of vaccinating 70% of US adults by July 4. Recent reports have shown that vaccine rates are plummeting in recent weeks, threatening the president's plan.

While approximately 3.4 million shots were being given out a day in mid-April, that number has now fallen to below one million a day, according to a report from the Washington Post.

Settlers raze more land in West Bank as Israel intensifies Judaization drive in Palestinian territories

Israeli settlers have razed a historic neighborhood near Ibrahimi Mosque in the occupied West Bank city of al-Khalil, also known as Hebron, as the Tel Aviv regime presses ahead with its plans to Judaize the Old City of al-Khalil.

Palestine's official Wafa news agency, citing a local source, reported on Monday that the illegal settlers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, bulldozed 400 square meters of land near Ibrahimi Mosque, also called the Cave of the Patriarchs.

Tawfik Jahshan, head of the legal department of the Hebron Reconstruction Committee, said the Old City of al-Khalil is a cultural and natural heritage site of rare and exceptional value, which requires preservation and protection.

He called on the international community and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) member states to assume their responsibilities towards the Israeli regime's ongoing violations against Palestinians, stressing the need to take effective measures and protect the intellectual and cultural heritage of Palestine. He also appealed to the Muslim community to promptly intervene in order "to stop this destruction and this escalation and dangerous practices by the occupation and its settlers aimed at seizing the Palestinian land and altering its history and culture."

Texas governor to sign bill banning vaccine passports

Abbott
© UnknownTexas Governor Greg Abbott
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) will sign legislation on Monday barring businesses and government agencies from requiring proof that someone has been vaccinated against the coronavirus before providing services.

Abbott signed an executive order in April banning government entities from requiring so-called vaccine passports. The new law, passed in the waning days before Texas legislators adjourned for the year, would extend to private businesses as well.

The law bars those establishments from requiring documentation showing that someone has either been vaccinated against or has recovered from an infection with the coronavirus before gaining access to or receiving services from a business. Businesses that require vaccine passports would be barred from receiving grants from or winning contracts with the state. " Abbott wrote on Twitter:
"I'm signing a law today that prohibits any business operating in Texas from requiring vaccine passports or any vaccine information. Texas is open 100% without any restrictions or limitations or requirements."
Vaccine passports have become the latest cause taken up by Republican elected officials in what they cast as the war between onerous public health restrictions and individual liberty.

Only two states — New York and Hawaii — have implemented vaccine passport rules.

Georgia Republicans overwhelmingly pass resolution to censure Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger

Georgia Republicans passed a resolution Saturday to censure Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger for his defense of the state's election process and refusal to side with President Trump.

Passed at the annual convention on Jekyll Island this weekend, the resolution claims the secretary of state and current Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan "denied that there was election fraud and punished Georgia Republican State Senators who asked for election audits."

Raffensperger was censured for "dereliction of his Constitutional duty," and the resolution "calls on Governor Brian Kemp and all elected officials to repair the damage that has been done and commit themselves to securing Georgia's elections."

The resolution says the secretary of state undermined the security of elections by allowing mass mailings of absentee ballot applications, which "created opportunities for fraud and overwhelmed election offices." It goes on to say that absentee ballots made signature matches impossible and ballot drop boxes were allowed without proper chain of custody."

Both Kemp and Raffensperger are running for reelection.

Comment: Raffensperger was not 'asked to side with Trump'. He was asked to oversee a fair and honest election.

More than two dozen suspected Antifa rioters have been charged in Portland in the past two weeks, signaling an escalation by both local and federal prosecutors following a full year of riots in the besieged Oregon city.

On Thursday, the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office announced charges against 10 suspects following several grand jury indictments.

Maximilian Ryan Jennings, 23, James Walker Prettyman, 25, and Thomas Moll-Rocek, 34, are charged with one count each of felony riot, felony first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal mischief.

The three were indicted over accusations they were part of a black-clad mob that broke most of the windows on the Multnomah County Democrats' headquarters on Nov. 8, 2020. At the time, Antifa accounts on social media promoted the "direct action" to oppose the presidential election.

One of Israel's leading ultra-Orthodox Jewish media outlets was mocked online for censoring the face of Labor Party chief Merav Michaeli, who is set to join the new government.

The news website Behadrei Haredim altered the photo illustrating a story about the so-called 'unity' or 'change' coalition - a bloc of eight parties that agreed to unseat Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by forming a government together.

The outlet blurred out the face of Michaeli, the sole woman in the picture.

Ultra-Orthodox media typically censor or omit publishing images of women due to the religious and cultural beliefs of their audience.

Health minister reveals death rates have fallen to pre-pandemic levels in most of Russia, but some remote regions still struggling

Mortality rates in over half of Russian regions have returned to pre-pandemic lows, the country's top health official has said, as authorities in rural Buryatia scramble to deploy additional beds to meet a rise in Covid-19 cases.

Speaking to TASS in an interview published on Monday, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko announced that the majority of regions in the country were seeing the rate of deaths falling to the level they were at before the start of the coronavirus crisis last year. To boot, these levels, he said, had been "the lowest in history. Covid, of course, radically changed the situation."

Murashko credited two developments responsible for the dip in deaths, the first being effective "measures for the mass prevention of coronavirus infection." In addition, he said, the "resumption of medical examinations" that were disrupted by the pandemic had helped head off mortality from diseases unrelated to Covid-19.

However, in a sign that the fight against the virus is unlikely to be over just yet, the Minister of Health of Buryatia, a Far-Eastern Russian republic on the border with Mongolia, warned that the local epidemiological situation was worsening. Evgenia Ludupova wrote on Instagram to urge residents "to observe safety measures." She added that "in particular, in the last week we have seen an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and new coronavirus infections."
