OSCE violating its mandate - Moscow

Statements by the organization no longer reflect the consensus of its members, the Russian Foreign Ministry has said

The leadership of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), as well as some of its executive bodies, have deviated from their mandate, Russian Foreign Ministry officials told RIA Novosti on Sunday. In particular, the body has been "turning a blind eye to blatant violations" committed by Ukrainian authorities and their Western backers, the ministry said.

The comments follow reports about a possible suspension of Russian participation in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. In early February, Moscow's permanent representative to the organization, Aleksandr Volgarev, told the OSCE Permanent Council that Russia would not take part in the assembly's winter session. It was held on February 22-23 in Vienna.

Comment: If one takes a look at the list and map of OSCE countries, the dominant countries are NATO countries. Perhaps there was another plan back in 1992. From the same source there was an article:

"It's not the Russia that, frankly, we wanted," Nuland told CNN's Christiane Amanpour on Thursday. "We wanted a partner that was going to be westernizing, that was going to be European. But that's not what Putin has done."

Putin's predecessor, Boris Yeltsin, enjoyed Washington's support as he oversaw the rushed privatization of the Russian economy in the 1990s. Yeltsin's reforms saw the rise of the so-called 'oligarchs', who amassed huge fortunes selling Russia's natural resources to Western buyers, while the majority of the population dealt with declining life expectancy, soaring crime and homicide rates, and the collapse of the ruble.

Putin, who first took office in 2000, is widely credited with taming the oligarchs, imposing public order, and reversing the economic and social decline of the 1990s. Putin initially sought friendly relations with the West, telling American journalist Tucker Carlson earlier this month that he asked then-US President Bill Clinton whether Russia could one day join NATO, only to be rejected.

Putin nevertheless reached out to Clinton's successor, George W. Bush, with a proposal that the US, Russia, and Europe jointly create a missile defense system. While Bush's team initially expressed interest, Putin said that "in the end they just told us to get lost."

A combination of NATO expansion, American support for jihadist groups in the Caucuses, and Nuland's orchestration of the coup d'etat in Ukraine in 2014 made it clear that the US and its allies were not interested in cooperation, Putin told Carlson.

Nuland told Amanpour that Putin has "destroyed his own country" by intervening in Ukraine, and that the US will "continue to tighten the noose on him," presumably by supplying Kiev with weapons and imposing additional economic sanctions on Moscow.

The aim is to enable Kiev to "carry out deep strikes" amid flagging US support, President Emmanuel Macron has said

France is leading a new coalition that aims to provide Ukraine with "medium and long-range missiles and bombs," President Emmanuel Macron has announced. He has also not ruled out deploying ground forces to support Kiev in future.

Macron made the remarks following a summit of Ukraine's backers on Monday, intended to demonstrate unwavering support for Kiev amid the suspension of American aid.

According to the French leader, the newly established coalition seeks to enable Ukraine to "carry out deep strikes." There is a "broad consensus to do even more and faster together" to support Kiev, Macron added.

The move comes as continued US aid to Ukraine remains in doubt. President Joe Biden's latest package, which envisages an additional $60 billion for Kiev, has been in limbo for months due to opposition from Republicans in the House of Representatives. Lawmakers have made clear they will only relent if the White House agrees to tighten US border controls and stems the flow of illegal migrants from Mexico.


Comment: So as Ukraine is losing ground every day, the EU wants to commit even more money and weapons into the black hole which Ukraine is fast turning in to.


Comment: Russia will call the bluff of these grand speeches by Western leaders and will not bend to a globalist West. The goals of the SMO was to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. Those goals have not changed but it has become clear that the West could also be in great need of denazification. That task might be left to the farmers and the general population of the West if enough wake up to the anti human agenda which their leaders are trying to implement. Chaos is on the cards.

The emerging multipolar world order led by Russia, China, and the Global South is pushing the old Western arrogant order into historical oblivion.

This week marks the second anniversary of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine that began on February 24, 2022. President Vladimir Putin ordered the intervention of Russian forces for two reasons: to protect the Russian-speaking population of the Donbass region which had endured eight years of NATO-backed aggression; and, secondly, to denazify the regime that the Western powers had illegally installed with a coup d'état in Kiev in 2014. The tenth anniversary of that coup on February 22 was also marked this week.

Two years on, the first objective has been substantially achieved. Russian forces control most of the Donbass region, as well as Kherson, Zaporozhye, and Crimea. These regions are now legally part of the Russian Federation following historic referenda. In sum, Ukraine has lost about 20 percent of its pre-conflict territory to Russia. The concerned populations contend that they have rejoined Mother Russia.

Colorado Democrats killed a bill this month that would have created a mandatory minimum sentence of four years for child prostitution. Under the current law, people who commit sex offenses against children can be charged with probation-eligible offenses.

"Probation-eligible offenses" refers to crimes for which a judge has the discretion to sentence the offender to probation instead of incarceration.

House Bill 1092 was postponed indefinitely in the House's State, Civic, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee — dubbed the "kill committee" by state lawmakers — by an 8 to 3 party-line vote. Postponing a bill indefinitely is a legislative tool used to terminate the main motion without taking a direct vote.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday urged NATO countries to raise their military spending and send more weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, but seemed to herald a Russian victory in the conflict in an apparent slip-up.

Trudeau spoke in Warsaw after meetings with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and President Andrzej Duda - both of whom are vocal supporters of Ukraine, but are political opponents at home.

Rustem Umerov has complained that delayed weapons deliveries are to blame for battlefield losses.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov has said that continuing delays in weapons deliveries from Kiev's Western backers are playing a major role in the loss of troops and ground.
"At the moment, commitment doesn't constitute delivery," Umerov said on Sunday at a forum in Kiev. "50% of commitments are not delivered on time." He added, "Basically, whatever committed that doesn't come on time, we'll lose people, we'll lose territories."
Umerov made the comments as Ukraine's conflict with Russia dragged into its third year amid ammunition shortages and struggles to have a new $60 billion aid package approved by US lawmakers.

On Sunday The New York Times published an explosive and very belated full admission that US intelligence has not only been instrumental in Ukraine wartime decision-making, but has established and financed high tech command-and-control spy centers, and was doing so long prior to the Feb. 24 Russian invasion of two years ago.

Among the biggest revelations is that the program was established a decade ago and spans three different American presidents. The Times says the CIA program to modernize Ukraine's intelligence services has "transformed" the former Soviet state and its capabilities into "Washington's most important intelligence partners against the Kremlin today."

This has included the agency having secretly trained and equipped Ukrainian intelligence officers spanning back to just after the 2014 Maidan coup events, as well constructing a network of 12 secret bases along the Russian border — work which began eight years ago. These intelligence bases, from which Russian commanders' communications can be swept up and Russian spy satellites monitored, are being used launch and track cross-border drone and missile attacks on Russian territory.

In a very unexpected plot twist, Ukraine appears to be in agreement with the Kremlin on Alexei Navalny's death inside a far northern Russian prison which occurred on Feb. 16 and was listed by Russian authorities as officially due to "natural causes". The dominant Western narrative has thus far been that Putin had him "murdered".

Yet now Kiev sources are saying that the anti-Putin activist supported by the West died of a blood clot. Surprisingly, this explanation is being advanced among Ukraine media sources after none other than Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR), bluntly stated it to a group of journalists on Sunday. "I may disappoint you, but as far as we know, he indeed died as a result of a blood clot. And this has been more or less confirmed," Budanov stated.

"This wasn't sourced from the internet, but, unfortunately, natural [causes]," he added in the remarks which were also caught on video. The spy chief's words were also picked up in The Daily Mail, though predictably US mainstream outlets have been slow to acknowledge the assessment.

Comment: Who stood to benefit from Navalny's death? Given that he likely died a 'natural' death (some have suggested that he was jabbed with Pfizer), the West likely just saw an opportunity to rally the Western populations in the daily "2 minutes of hate" against Russia and push for more weapons to Ukraine. It also served conveniently to distract from ever increasing losses on the frontlines.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in late 2022 that his priority was to sign a normalization agreement with Saudi Arabia. He called it his number one objective for Israel's national security. Now, he has lost his dream.

Saudi Arabia stood up alongside 51 countries, and testified at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Israel's attack on Gaza which has been classified as genocide, and apartheid by human rights experts, South Africa and others. The evidence being presented to the ICJ rule is to prove that the occupation of Palestine is illegal, and must be ended.

Saudi Arabia condemned Israel's actions in Gaza, and the Occupied West Bank as legally indefensible. Ziad Al-Atiyah, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the Netherlands, strongly condemned Israel for its actions in Palestine which defy international law.

The Biden administration on Friday restored a U.S. legal finding dating back nearly 50 years that Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are "illegitimate" under international law.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the U.S. believes settlements are inconsistent with Israel's obligations, reversing a determination made by his predecessor, Mike Pompeo, in the Biden administration's latest shift away from the pro-Israel policies pursued by former President Donald Trump.

Blinken's comments came in response to a reporter's question about an announcement that Israel would build more than 3,300 new homes in West Bank settlements as a riposte to a fatal Palestinian shooting attack.

It wasn't clear why Blinken chose this moment, more than three years into his tenure, to reverse Pompeo's decision. But it came at a time of growing U.S.-Israeli tensions over the war in Gaza, with the latest settlement announcement only adding to the strain. It also came as the United Nations' highest court, the International Court of Justice, is holding hearings into the legality of the Israeli occupation.

Comment: Decades, of 'really good' words from diplomats brighter than Blinky, have not phased Israel's trajectory. Then is now...only worse.
