Reckless courts codify chaos

Flagrant election cheating in several swing states, it seems, is of no interest to the self-appointed watchdogs of American democracy or even to those specifically tasked with investigating such unlawfulness.

The U.S. Department of Justice, despite its preachy corporate motto, is thus far blind to it. Journalists and professional pundits on both sides of the aisle downplay talk of what has happened as "baseless conspiracy theories" pushed by cult-like Trump loyalists. Most Senate Republicans are eager to move on while ignoring provable instances of voting fraud in their own states and urging the president to concede "for the good of the country."

Even with a potentially power-shifting Senate election on January 5, no one seems particularly motivated to quickly remedy how absentee ballots have been mishandled, manipulated, and doctored in the 2020 presidential election.

And the entity usually considered the final and most impartial arbiter of injustice in the country โ€” the court system โ€” now, too, is in on the election fix.

Comment: The Dems did not play by the rules and this is a massive problem. It is equally unfair if the courts do not exercise stark neutrality. To be awarded anything other than unbiased legal determination means corruption at the highest level. Is it perfect? Hardly, and we'd be foolish to think so. But if it all goes sideways - and it can - probably will, system corruption and legal inadequacies will become glaringly evident for all to see. It's sad to think this may be the best we've got at a time when we need justice the most.

Bin Salman allegedly favours closer ties with Israel as Saudi Princes' opinions split

In September, two Arab states, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, signed agreements with the State of Israel to recognise and formalise relations with Tel Aviv under the Abraham Accords initiative, launched by the administration of US President Donald Trump earlier this year. Later on, Sudan and Morocco announced a willingness to do likewise.

Saudi Princes are split in opinions over whether to recognise and normalise relations with Israel, with the Kingdom's Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman likely to be open to signing a peace deal with the Jewish state, the Daily Mail reported on Monday.

According to the publication, MBS "favours closer ties" with Tel Aviv after two Persian Gulf states, the UAE and Bahrain, officially signed normalisation deals with Israel. The two Gulf states were followed by two other Arab countries, Sudan and Morocco, which expressed readiness to normalise relations with Israel.

Despite the alleged openness of MBS to the deal, some members of the royal family are said to oppose the move. The Crown Prince is the country's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence as well as the head of Saudi Arabia's Council of Political and Security Affairs.

Comment: Bin Salman and Netanyahu? Some Saudis have enough sense to question this proposed 'kumbaya' turn of events.

Russian Deputy FM says American hackers tried to meddle in country's vote amid growing row over online espionage

American operatives tried to hack Russia's constitutional vote last summer, one of Moscow's top diplomats has said in a series of explosive allegations, claiming the US is responsible for the majority of online attacks.

While America is currently gripped with hysteria over supposed Russian hacking, Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov says Washington is behind the raging cyber war. He told journalists on Monday that Russian specialists estimate that the US is behind the lion's share of online breaches. He said:
"As for cyber threats in the information sphere," "most of the malicious activity is coming from within the US."
Citing a study conducted in July,
"which provided statistics on the impact [of hackers] on Russia's digital systems during this year's Constitutional Vote... we can see that large-scale attacks were recorded from the US, [but also from] Germany, the UK, Singapore, Taiwan, Ukraine and a number of Eastern European countries."

Comment: The DeepState and MSM are desperately trying to keep alive the "Russia did it" story, despite the overwhelming evidence that they are the bad guys that are meddling everywhere in the world.

The hidden truth about the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA 2021)

American flag
While the media has you concerned over Donald Trump's threat to veto the annual military budget, there are bigger implications for the controversial NDAA 2021.

The U.S. Senate recently voted 84 to 13 in favor of the 2021 version of the annual military budget, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The Senate's vote follows a 335 to 78 vote by the House of Representatives. Despite promises of a veto from Donald Trump, the bill currently has a veto-proof two-thirds majority in both the House and Senate. Trump has until December 23rd to decide if he try to veto the $740.5 billion bill.

Most of the media discussion about the 2021 NDAA has revolved around two issues: Trump's opposition to renaming military bases named after Confederate war heroes and the battle over Section 230 of the Communication Act.

Trump has stated that his admin "will not even consider the renaming of these Magnificent and Fabled Military Installations". He also threatened to veto the massive spending bill if Section 230 of the Communication Act was not "completely terminated" to allow internet providers and Big Tech companies like Facebook and Twitter to be held legally liable for the content on their websites. Trump has argued the social media giants should be treated like publishers to reduce online censorship or deletion of content falsely labeled "misinformation".

Surprise! Climate change is the new Federal Reserve 'mandate'

Jerome Powell
Officially, Congress sets the Fed's priorities but the Fed has independence on how to carry out its mandates. Unofficially, the Fed just adopted its own new mandate.

The Evolution of an Idea

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond explains the Evolution of an Idea.
Since 1977, the Federal Reserve has operated under a mandate from Congress to "promote effectively the goals of maximum employment, stable prices, and moderate long term interest rates" โ€” what is now commonly referred to as the Fed's "dual mandate." The idea that the Fed should pursue multiple goals can be traced back to at least the 1940s, however, with shifting emphasis on which objective should be paramount.

Comment: This signal from the Fed indicates that it is on board with the global 'Great Reset' agenda of restructuring Western society around "Green" policies, and making crickets and soy a part of your daily diet among other things. While we're not surprised about this development, it is interesting to see how they would make such an overt statement to this effect.

AG Barr: There's no reason to appoint special counsel for Hunter Biden probe

Attorney General William Barr AP

Attorney General William Barr said Monday there's no reason for the Justice Department to appoint a special counsel to investigate President-elect Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden.

Barr said at a press conference, "I think to the extent that there's an investigation, I think that it's being handled responsibly and professionally currently within the department and to this point, I have not seen a reason to appoint a special counsel and I have no plan to do so before I leave."

Asked by another reporter if he was concerned that the Biden administration would end the Hunter Biden probe, Barr said: "I'm hoping that the next administration handles that matter responsibly."

Comment: Anyone else get the impression Barr is protecting someone (maybe himself)?

'Santa's going to be very good to me,' NY Gov. Cuomo says, praising himself for 'working hard'

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has once again set off his critics by claiming he's not on Santa's naughty list because of all the hard work he did this year.

"Santa's going to be very good to me. I can tell. I worked hard this year," Cuomo claimed at a Monday press conference, encouraging New Yorkers to have a "healthy holiday."

The governor also jokingly gave Santa Claus an exemption from New York Covid-19 pandemic traveling restrictions.

Cuomo's comments have invited backlash on social media, with critics reminding the governor of his numerous controversies this year.

Comment: Apparently it takes a lot of work to be that big a screw-up!

Dollar

The next dollar problem has just arrived: Bank lending contracting, hyperinflation looming and investors safeguarding

liquidity crunch
Abstract

It is not for no reason that cryptos are roaring, and precious metals are playing catch-up. In the last month there have been developments that point to a new phase of accelerating monetary inflation for the dollar, and fiat money is only just beginning to be exchanged for these inflation hedges at an increasing pace.

Hyper-inflation of the dollar is now becoming obvious to a growing cohort of investors. It is driven by factors on both sides of bank balance sheets, with evidence that large depositors are reducing their term deposits and increasing their instant access checking accounts. This appears to be behind the increase in M1 money supply fuelled out of a shift from the M2 statistic, which includes savings deposits.

It amounts to a hidden run against bank balance sheets. Meanwhile, increasing supply chain problems against a background of covid lockdowns are leading to the withdrawal of bank credit from non-financial businesses, potentially imploding bank balance sheets as a bank credit contracts.

Foreign support for both the dollar and dollar-denominated fixed interest assets are being withdrawn, which is sure to lead to rising bond yields and dollar interest rates in the New Year, undermining the equity market bubble.

"Betrayed from within": Patrick Byrne blasts White House staff after attending election meeting with Trump, Powell and Flynn

Patrick Byrne
Patrick Byrne at the White House Friday night
Former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne blasted President Trump's chief of staff Mark Meadows and White House lawyers in comments posted online Sunday about a meeting at the White House Friday night with Trump about the contested presidential election that Byrne attended with attorney Sidney Powell and former Trump national security advisor Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn (U.S. Army ret.), saying that Trump is being "betrayed from within." Byrne also denied the reporting that a military coup or martial law were discussed.

"My involvement is I was in the room when it happened. The raised voices included my own. I can promise you: President Trump is being terribly served by his advisers. They want him to lose and are lying to him. He is surrounding by mendacious mediocrities."..In addition, any suggestion if there was talk of a military coup or martial law is also a flat lie. 100% false. I was there for 4 1/2 hours, I heard the entire conversation, that is a 100% fabrication."

Comment: The above story clearly suggests that even among Trump's staff he is fighting a very steep uphill battle to show that massive and pervasive fraud of the election occurred. Obviously VERY few in Washington's upper echelons have the will, values or guts to fight for the Truth.

And speaking of will, values and guts Sidney Powell was seen leaving the White House on Sunday night in what was probably another strategy session. When asked by a CNN reporter what she was doing there, she responded accordingly...
When questioned by a CNN activist "reporter" about the reason for her visit, Powell put him in his place โ€” telling him that "it would be none of your business."

"SPOTTED tonight at the White House: attorney & conspiracy theorist Sidney Powell. @abdallahcnn & I saw her leaving the residence side of the White House shortly before 9p. She denied meeting with Trump tonight. When pressed again, she said: 'It would be none of your business' CNN White House correspondent Jeremy Diamond tweeted.

Dream of alliance from Lisbon to Vladivostok dies: German efforts to create a Europe without Russia forged a Europe against Russia

MerkelPutin
© AFX Maxim ShipenkovGerman Chancellor Angela Merkel โ€ข Russian President Vladimir Putin
German-Russian friendship is over with 'Ostpolitik' dead and buried. Future relations will largely be based on confrontation, as Moscow no longer cares what Berlin thinks and Germany has lost its unique leverage with Russia.

Many observers believe the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) needs an overhaul. With countries such as Brazil, Germany, India and even Japan suggested as potential permanent members. Reaction to Berlin's recent two-year stint on the body suggests the present five (China, France, Russia, the UK and the US) will be keeping the gate locked for a while.

Instead of the customary pleasantries and recognition for Germany's contributions on its way out, Russia and China scolded the German Permanent Representative to the United Nations Christoph Heusgen. Russian Deputy Permanent Representative Dmitri Polyansky lambasted Germany's "hypocritical behavior" and in no uncertain terms stated that "we will not miss you." China also denounced Germany for its behavior and asserted Germany's path toward a permanent seat at the UNSC "will be difficult."

Comment: By exercising the right of choice and loosening problematic ties, Russia has grown stronger. Can't say the same for Germany which remains locked in the Western sphere of influence, ideology and commitments.
