RINO Rubio's home targeted by Trump supporter protest - demand he challenge election results

Dozens of Donald Trump supporters demonstrated outside the home of US Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida), demanding that he join a Republican effort to fight congressional certification of President-elect Joe Biden's electoral win.

The demonstrators marched from a nearby park before gathering outside Rubio's residence in West Miami on Saturday, chanting "stop the steal" and waving Trump flags. Footage from Miami ABC affiliate WPLG shows protesters carrying signs with such messages as "Do not confirm" and "Rubio we are watching you."

The crowd made clear its demand that Rubio challenge finalization of Biden's victory when Congress convenes on January 6 to certify the electoral results from across the nation. One man said through a megaphone, "If he does not, his political future is over."

Comment: In the common parlance, Rubio is a 'piece of work'. His most spectacular fiasco to date has been the unrelenting support of soy-boy, self-proclaimed Venezuelan 'president' Juan Guaido, but there have been many more.

Not even a 'highly likely'? Cybersecurity group admits SolarWinds hack came from within the US, but doubles down on blaming Russia

Internet security firm FireEye has revealed the enormous SolarWinds hack that left upwards of 250 agencies and businesses unprotected for weeks was launched from inside the US - but that hasn't stopped them from blaming Moscow.

The mega-hack, which affected 250 networks including US government agencies, went undetected by Washington's security systems because it originated within the US, FireEye told the New York Times. But while one might expect this revelation to pour cold water on the metastasizing, baseless claims that Russia was responsible for the intrusion, speculation about the country's role has only increased.

The western media establishment has remained largely silent about the latest development in the SolarWinds saga, perhaps embarrassed to blame a foreign country for one's own inability to safeguard clients' data. Indeed, the US agencies supposedly tasked with detecting and preventing such attacks - the National Security Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Pentagon's Cyber Command - all missed the breach. Instead, it took FireEye, a firm that even the AP admits specializes in pinning American security fails on the Kremlin, to uncover the sprawling security snafu.

FireEye allegedly discovered the vulnerability only after those "state actors" broke into its own network to steal security tools, and the Times acknowledged the company has "a history of lackluster security for its products." However, the same outlet's coverage suggests such a breach could only have been accomplished with high-level hacking tools backed by a state.

Comment: Alperovitch was in all likelihood the man behind Guccifer2.0 and the DNC/DCCC 'hacks' in the first place. They were false flags. Alperovitch is a scammer and a crook, as revealed in David J. Blake's new book. These big-brains are fond of punching themselves in the face and then publicly blaming Russia. It's a tired old trick. Unfortunately, people still fall for it.

Trump's call with the Georgia Sec. of State was a case study in the media duplicity he has battled from day one

trump cell phone
A cautionary note — grab yourself a fresh cup of coffee and take a "comfort break" before you go further because reading this might take a while.

I have a ton of preparatory remarks that I want to make before I get to the lying sacks of sh!t in the media who covered this story on Sunday.

I wrote a story Sunday afternoon before I was able to listen to the recording itself. I was writing in reaction to a dozen or more "stories" that had hit the 'net from mainstream media outlets far and wide, reporting on the Saturday telephone call. The reporting was consistently negative in terms of the characterization of the call, the President's comments during the call, and the context the authors ascribed to the conversation. I was a bit surprised by the amount of expert "commentary" that seemed to have been gathered in a very short time period. Most of it was some form of condemnation of the President's comments as an abuse of power, and grounds for impeachment. Someone wrote the recorded call was the equivalent of the Nixon tapes being told to "hold my beer". But the Nixon tapes included conversations between a President and his close aides discussing criminal activity and how it might be covered up. In addition, there was an 18-minute segment of the tapes that had been recorded over so the conversation at that point in the recording would never be known.

Comment: The National Pulse summarizes:
Despite the partisan framing from the Washington Post - that the call somehow reflected Trump making demands for votes from his Republican colleagues - the President actually does no such thing. Throughout the call, the President makes clear that his calls are for election transparency, full and transparent audits, and public access. At no point does the President imply he wants votes invented or confected, as the establishment media is portraying. He even offers to recuse himself from parts of the conversation and ends by asking for "the truth... it's just that simple."1. Fulton County

The President and his team repeatedly raise alleged violations in Fulton County, specifically charging Raffensberger and team with pivoting to Cobb County without addressing the more densely populated Fulton.

President Trump says here:
"You sent us into Cobb County, which we didn't want to go into. And you said it would be open to the public. So we had our experts there, they weren't allowed into the room. But we didn't want Cobb County. We wanted Fulton County. And you wouldn't give it to us. Now, why aren't we doing signature — and why can't it be open to the public?"
In response, lawyer Ryan Germany simply replies: "We chose Cobb County because that was the only county where there's been any evidence submitted that the signature verification was not properly done."

Not just an admission of wrongdoing in the state, but also an admission of selectively apply rigorous standards and refusing to allow the President's team into the most populated county in the state.

2. The 'Consent Decree'

This has to do with the agreement signed by Republicans and Democrats in advance of the election, and why President Trump said far-left Georgia activist Stacey Abrams had "outplayed" Republicans by getting them to sign an unconstitutional agreement. The agreement itself is a word salad (read it for yourself) about what constitutes signature matching on ballots. If no side intended to defraud the election, one might argue no such "agreement" would have been required.

Instead of addressing this directly, Raffensberger and Germany set out to nitpick over the term "consent decree" which has been used repeatedly across national, state, and local media to describe the agreement. Even lawyers in opposition to Trump have used the term.

Raffensberger simply states, during the whole exchange: "It's a settlement agreement." His colleague Ryan Germany skirts the crux of the matter, too: "I don't. I don't. I don't believe [it's a consent decree], but I don't have it in front of me."

3. GA Lawyers Refusing Further Transparency.

Toward the end of the call Chief of Staff Mark Meadows is heard to say:
"It sounds like we've got two different sides agreeing that we can look at those areas, and I assume that we can do that within the next 24 to 48 hours, to go ahead and get that reconciled so that we can look at the two claims and making sure that we get the access to the secretary of state's data to either validate or invalidate the claims that have been made. Is that correct?"
Germany quips back immediately: "No, that's not what I said," and attempts to shut down the idea of further enquiries into the Georgia vote totals.

When a lawyer for the President, Kurt Hilbert, suggests, "the secretary of state could deputize the lawyers for the president so that we could access that information and private information without you having any kind of violation?" the President rightly excuses himself from knowing more, stating: "I don't want to know who it is. You guys can do it very confidentially. You can sign a confidentiality agreement. That's okay. I don't need to know names."

4. Ruby Freeman.

Not a fault of the Raffensberger team, perhaps, but the Washington Post audio originally left in references to Georgia voter counter and left-wing activist Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shaye Moss. While The National Pulse makes no claims of the pair, it is bemusing that the Washington Post would redact the names, especially given how well known they have become on the internet.

The names were redacted a total of 18 times by the Washington Post.

5. 'We Just Want The Truth.'

At the end of the call President Trump remarks, repeatedly: "we just want the truth."

Far from being a "pressure"-filled call as the Washington Post reports it, the President went out of his way over 62 mins to go through details, obstruction, and continuously be sure that he was looking for accuracy, transparency, and public access.

Attorney Cleta Mitchell probably states it best during the call where she says:
"...you can keep telling us and making public statement that you investigated this and nothing to see here. But we don't know about that. All we know is what you tell us. What I don't understand is why wouldn't it be in everyone's best interest to try to get to the bottom, compare the numbers, you know, if you say, because... to try to be able to get to the truth because we don't have any way of confirming what you're telling us. You tell us that you had an investigation at the State Farm Arena. I don't have any report. I've never seen a report of investigation. I don't know that is. I've been pretty involved in this, and I don't know. And that's just one of 25 categories."
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the White House made EIGHTEEN attempts to connect with Raffensperger since the November 3rd election, before Georgia's Secretary of State finally accepted Trump's call.

Fascist NY governor Cuomo threatens hospitals with fines if they don't vaccinate at maximum capacity

Hospitals that don't use up their supply of Covid-19 vaccines within a week of receiving them will be punished with hefty fines and barred from receiving further doses, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has declared.

The governor warned hospitals that fail to deploy their vaccine stocks within a week of receiving them that they will not only be fined up to $100,000 but also be cut out of future vaccine distribution. He has repeatedly criticized the rollout of the jab as too slow.

"I don't want the vaccine in a fridge or a freezer, I want it in somebody's arm," he said during a Monday press conference. "They have to move the vaccine, and they have to move the vaccine faster." Hospitals received a letter on Sunday echoing the governor's threat.

The Assange extradition ruling is a relief, but it isn't even close to justice

assange
Julian Assange
British Judge Vanessa Baraitser has ruled against US extradition for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, but not for the reasons she should have.

Baraitser's frightening ruling supported virtually every US prosecutorial argument that was made during the extradition trial, no matter how absurd and Orwellian. This includes quoting from a long-discredited CNN report alleging without evidence that Assange made the embassy a "command post" for election interference, saying the right to free speech does not give anyone "unfettered discretion" to disclose any document they wish, dismissing arguments from the defense that UK law prohibits extradition for political offenses, parroting the false claim that Assange's attempt to help protect his source Chelsea Manning while she was exfiltrating documents she already had access to was not normal journalistic behavior, saying US intelligence might have had legitimate reasons to spy on Assange in the Ecuadorian embassy, and claiming Assange's rights would be protected by the US legal system if he were extradited.

Scotland extends TOTAL lockdown into whole month of January despite no rise in hospital admissions

Edinburgh lockdown
© Murdo MacLeod/The GuardianAn already restricted Edinburgh city centre.
Mainland Scotland will be placed in a full lockdown from midnight on Monday for the duration of January in an effort to stop the coronavirus pandemic spiralling out of control, Nicola Sturgeon has announced.

The first minister said in an emergency statement to Holyrood all Scotland's schools would remain closed for the whole of January, shifting to online learning, because of the risks posed by the new Covid variant B117.

The new "stay at home" rules, mirroring the strict controls imposed last March, would also be legally enforced and greatly restrict who was able to travel, the Scottish government's cabinet agreed earlier on Monday.

Comment: These restrictions aren't new for a significant number of people, because they've been suffering under lockdown for many months.

Comment: They've been forced to issue a new protocol on the experimental vaccines and the dosing because the detrimental effects thus far have been nearly impossible to deny.

'Israel's the worst counter-intelligence threat to US in the Middle East' - US security establishment

Jonathan Pollard
© Getty ImagesConvicted spy Jonathan Pollard, upon release from jail in New York, 2015.
The FBI & Justice Department have declared Israel the 2nd most aggressive nation running espionage operations against the US... the US security establishment has always regarded Israel as its number one counter-intelligence threat in the Middle East...Israel sold U.S. war plans to the USSR...US intelligence officers say Mossad is a 'second rate' operation... 'Israeli intelligence assistance is often of dubious value... CIA is appalled at the lack of quality... They often give the US faulty, misleading intelligence...'

"Israel, Our Best Ally," By Ron Estes, 2 January 2021
In 1987, Jonathan Pollard, a former Pentagon intelligence analyst, plead guilty to performing as a spy for Israel, providing Israel top-secret US classified information. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison for violations of the Espionage Act. Pollard was the only American who has received a prison sentence for passing classified information to a US ally.

To set the stage, on October 25, 1985, Pollard was seen carrying a large bundle from his office to his wife's car, and was consequently placed under surveillance.

On November 21 he was arrested as he approached the Israeli embassy in Washington and charged with espionage. After serving his 30 years sentence, Pollard was released November 20, 2015, and placed on parole in accordance with federal guidelines in place at the time of his sentencing. On November 20, 2020, the parole expired and all restrictions were removed. Pollard was a free man.

Comment: The US is unquestionably used and abused by Israel. Perhaps there is a 'Stockholm Syndrome' for countries.

De-dollarization in overdrive: Russia and China boost settlements in national currencies to 25%

Moscow and Beijing have ramped up the share of settlements in national currencies to 25 percent this year against a modest two percent recorded seven years ago, according to the Russian Ambassador to China Andrey Denisov. He commented, citing Chinese partners:
"The share of national currencies in our [trade] relations with China is steadily increasing. It has reached about a quarter through the nine months since the beginning of the year. This is quite a big progress."
According to Denisov, the very process of converting the mutual trade into national currencies is really challenging, but absolutely necessary under the current geopolitical conditions. The ambassador stressed that the two nations are forced to shift to ruble and yuan due to the constant pressure put on the trading partners.
"China and Russia are not unique in this respect, a wide range of nations have to break up with the US dollar, as it is not just a financial tool, but levers of influence."

'We'll give him protection': Mexico's president promises asylum for Julian Assange

Mexico's president has offered asylum to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, hours after a British judge refused to extradite Assange to the US to face espionage charges.

"Assange is a journalist and deserves a chance, I am in favor of pardoning him," President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador told reporters on Monday, saying "we'll give him protection. Our tradition is protection."

Earlier on Monday, Judge Vanessa Baraitser refused to extradite Assange to the US, where he has been charged with 18 counts of conspiring to hack US government computers, and with the publication of confidential military records. Baraitser did not take issue with the charges against Assange, but found that extradition would be oppressive, given Assange's mental health, and would leave the publisher at risk of suicide.

The US is expected to appeal the ruling, and Assange is still being held in London's Belmarsh Prison pending a bail hearing on Wednesday. His supporters have lobbied US President Donald Trump to grant him a pardon, but Trump has not yet indicated that he will.

Were Assange to take Lopez Obrador up on his offer, he would likely have to weigh the president's promise of protection against the fact that Obrador could be voted out of office in 2024, when his six-year term concludes.
