Bill Gates warns of pandemics 'far worse than Covid'

As Covid-19 cases driven by the Omicron variant surge across the world, Bill Gates has warned of pandemics worse than the current one.

His comments came as The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and British biomedical charity Wellcome Trust on Tuesday pledged $150m (£109,995) each to the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovation (CEPI) in the fight against Covid and to prepare for future pandemics.


Comment: As has become clear throughout the last 2 years, these 'donations' could be considered as controlling stakes.


The global partnership CEPI was co-founded five years ago during the Ebola epidemic. It co-leads Covax, the initiative to distribute Covid vaccines across the developing world.


Comment: A number of stories have come out showing that the developing world doesn't want the West's expired, experimental jabs, and they've been dumping them. They've also fared much better throughout this manufactured crisis than the developed world, so they have no need for them.


Fourteen vaccine projects, including those of AstraZeneca, Moderna and Novavax, were also funded by the CEPI.

The Times reported that Tory MPs keen to see the back of Mr Johnson have secretly recorded 'heated' conversation with the chief whip Mark Spencer, as well as text messages to support the accusations.
Rebel Tories are threatening to release a secret recording of Government whips' 'blackmail' threats as their battle with Boris Johnson took an astonishing new turn.

Backbenchers pushing for the Prime Minister to be replaced amid Partygate chaos claim to have taped party enforcers attempting to bully MPs, as well as having copies of text messages.

Mr Johnson insisted on Thursday he had 'seen no evidence' to support the claim made by senior Conservative William Wragg that his critics were facing 'intimidation' as part of an effort to prevent him being ousted from office.

Comment: Documentary footage from the BBC shows that this kinda of dirty dealing, and even blatant criminal activity, has been par for the course for decades. Below you'll see a former MP admitting that the Whips would help an MP out with "debt", or "a scandal involving small boys" so that they will "do as we ask forever more":

Russian deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov suggested on Thursday that if an agreement is not reached between the United States, NATO, and the Kremlin with regard to Ukraine, Russia may station military forces or missiles in Cuba or Venezuela.

Ryabkov stated that he could "neither confirm nor exclude" the possibility that the Kremlin was weighing such a course of action. "It all depends on the action by our U.S. counterparts," he told the Russian RTVI television network.


Comment: If it's OK for the US to do so with NATO in Europe, then surely they won't mind Russia doing the same in Latin America? Bear in mind that Russia is doing this as a defensive measure, whilst the West's is deliberately antagonistic.


According to Russian president Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin has sought additional "military-technical measures" to take if negotiations over Ukraine fail.

The same US "intelligence community" that brought us 'weapons of mass destruction in Iraq' and 'Trump-Russia collusion' claimed in November that Moscow is preparing to invade Ukraine any day now.

The harder Moscow denied it as 'fake news', the louder - and more vivid - the allegations became. Things went into overdrive after high-level security talks between Russia and the US appeared to end in failure, with Washington rejecting Moscow's 'red lines' out of hand.

Daily Mail draws maps of 'full-scale invasion'

"Moscow [has] moved as many as 100,000 troops, as well as tanks and missiles, close to the border" with Ukraine, the Daily Mail claimed on Wednesday. Variations on this line have been reported by just about every major outlet - and many minor ones - in NATO countries over the past six weeks.

Comment: Nice maps. The graphic design department must have been busy. However the investigative journalists with integrity seem to have been holiday.

This might have worked 20 years ago but a significant number of people get their information online these days and unless claims like these are backed up by actual footage and alternative media reports, it's going to be a much harder sell than the Iraq war; which, even back, then drew protests numbering in the millions.

Renowned Russian academic Sergey Karaganov describes Russian President Vladimir Putin's speech at the latest October Valdai Forum[1] as the "first major and strong call for reinventing Russian ideology for Russia and the world."[2] Indeed, Putin's speech can be viewed as an ideological manifesto that tries to put Russia back in the center of the world's political map.

Karaganov, who has been the Kremlin's advisor on foreign policy for twelve years, explains that for many years the economy was the central factor for countries and societies ("it is the economy, stupid"). However, history proves something else. "Yes, people are driven by economic interests, but when they are partially satisfied, when at the bare minimum no one starves, they turn to other interests like security, national pride, ideological views, cultural stereotypes and needs - that is, phenomena and values of a higher order," Karaganov states.[3]

For this reason, Putin believes that if Russia manages to shape a new ideology, it could have the same attractive power that it had under the Soviet Union with Communism, despite its shrinking economy. However, since Communism failed, Putin needs new values and ideas to counter the West.

CIA says 'Havana Syndrome' not result of sustained campaign by hostile power

In about two dozen cases, however, the agency can't rule out foreign involvement, including many of the cases that originated at the U.S. Embassy in Havana beginning in 2016.

In a new intelligence assessment, the CIA has ruled out that the mysterious symptoms known as Havana Syndrome are the result of a sustained global campaign by a hostile power aimed at hundreds of U.S. diplomats and spies, six people briefed on the matter told NBC News.

In about two dozen cases, the agency cannot rule out foreign involvement, including many of the cases that originated at the U.S. Embassy in Havana beginning in 2016. Another group of cases is considered unresolved. But in hundreds of other cases of possible symptoms, the agency has found plausible alternative explanations, the sources said.

The CIA declined to comment.

Comment: In recent years there have been a number of incidents whereby the US appears to be the victim of forces outside of its control; the US Navy's acknowledgement of UFO sightings near its ships is another.

However, whilst indeed a 'hostile power' does appear to be behind these incidents, it's more reasonable to suppose that it's actually the same nefarious forces working within the US, who, when the time is right, will suddenly find 'proof' that the foreign power of their choosing is actually to blame:

The White House on Wednesday clarified President Biden's position on Ukraine after an earlier press conference caused some confusion.

Biden told reporters at a marathon press conference that Russia would be held accountable if it were to invade Ukraine, but there seemed to be a caveat when he went further and said it depends on the actions Moscow takes.

"It's one thing if it's a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about what to do and not to do," he said.

Detractors saw the comment as giving Russian President Putin permission to invade.

Comment: Apparently the Biden administration seems to think the Russians are stupid. Lavrov has run himself ragged explaining that NATO's creeping occupation of so many of the former Soviet state is, in Russia eyes, essentially the equivalent of the Cuban missile crisis.

This is by design. Directly threatening Russia's borders (the "red-line") is how the warmongers in D.C. hope to bait Moscow. War is good for business.

It is 2022 and regime change formulas don't work, color revolutionary magic which worked for decades doesn't work and even expanding old-school military hardware around the troublesome Eurasian nations of the multipolar alliance no longer works.

The old magic doesn't work the way it used to for the ghouls in Washington, London and Brussels.

It used to be so easy to wave that old wand and watch a troublesome president have his brains blown out on live TV or suffer a violent coup.

There were a thousand and one ways to eliminate a pesky nationalist politician which had been honed over the Cold War years, and it seemed that all 1001 had been tried... several times over in some cases.

If two towers were required to collapse into rubble or a nationally elected government (or twelve) overthrown by a conveniently weaponized mob, then a shadow government apparatus would get the job done without too much ado or resistance of merit.

The beat went on and on like a broken record until some time in 2013... when something changed.

In the early 1960s, at the height of America's original Cold War with the Soviet Union, my old service branch, the Air Force, sought to build 10,000 land-based nuclear missiles. These were intended to augment the hundreds of nuclear bombers it already had, like the B-52s featured so memorably in the movie Dr. Strangelove. Predictably, massive future overkill was justified in the name of "deterrence," though the nuclear war plan in force back then was more about obliteration. It featured a devastating attack on the Soviet Union and communist China that would kill an estimated 600 million people in six months (the equivalent of 100 Holocausts, notes Daniel Ellsberg in his book, The Doomsday Machine). Slightly saner heads finally prevailed — in the sense that the Air Force eventually got "only" 1,000 of those Minuteman nuclear missiles.

Despite the strategic arms limitation talks between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, the dire threat of nuclear Armageddon persisted, reaching a fresh peak in the 1980s during Ronald Reagan's presidency. At the time, he memorably declared the Soviet Union to be an "evil empire," while nuclear-capable Pershing II and ground-launched cruise missiles were rushed to Europe. At that same moment, more than a few Europeans, joined by some Americans, took to the streets, calling for a nuclear freeze — an end to new nuclear weapons and the destabilizing deployment of the ones that already existed.
