Russia-China de-dollarization almost complete

Western currencies have been almost completely phased out in Russia-China trade, as nearly all payments between the countries are now carried out in rubles and yuan, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov announced on Monday.

Since the introduction of Western sanctions on Moscow, Russia and China have accelerated the use of their own currencies in trade. According to Belousov, 95% of all transactions between Russia and China are now carried out in one of the countries' national currencies, and given the rapid expansion of mutual trade and cooperation, this percentage is likely to grow.

Speaking at a meeting of the Russia-China intergovernmental commission in Beijing, the deputy prime minister said bilateral trade between the two countries will exceed the target of $200 billion this year, and may reach $300 billion by 2030.

He noted that China has long been among Russia's major trade partners and that the scope of investment opportunities for the two countries is expanding.

Authorities in Massachusetts released Slade Sohmer’s booking photo after he was charged with possessing and disseminating child pornography.
The former editor of a left-leaning political news site reportedly has been charged with possessing and distributing child pornography, according to authorities in Massachusetts.

Slade Sohmer, 44, who until last month was editor-in-chief of the video-driven news site The Recount, was released on $100,000 bail on Monday after he was charged in Massachusetts court with possessing and disseminating "hundreds of child pornography images and videos," according to The Berkshire Eagle.

Sohmer — who also has worked as a camp counselor for a New York City-based nonprofit — was arrested at his home in Otis, Mass. on Friday, weeks after law enforcement officials confiscated his electronic devices after obtaining a search warrant, the newspaper reported.

He has pleaded not guilty to two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of dissemination of child pornography.

Comment: Sohmer has some interesting friends. Funny how the MSM hasn't mentioned them:

Dollar's death by a thousand swaps: China, Saudi Arabia sign yuan currency agreement worth $7 billion

The People's Bank of China (PBC), the central bank, and the Saudi Central Bank have signed a local currency swap agreement. The swap size is 50 billion yuan ($6.98 billion) or 26 billion Saudi riyals. It will be valid for three years and can be extended by mutual agreement, the PBC said on Monday in a statement.

The swap arrangement, which has been approved by the State Council, will strengthen financial cooperation, expand the use of both currencies and promote trade and investment facilitation, read the statement.

Amid the continued internationalization of the yuan, experts said that the swap will have a demonstration effect and encourage more countries in the Middle East to follow suit.

Comment: Thus not only weakening the influence of the dollar, but the influence of the US hegemon.

Spike in gun sales - Public confidence wanes in the US

Gun Law
© Armstrong Economics
Another indicator that the people have lost all hope in the public sector is the recent rise in gun sales across America. Gun sales rose 8.3% in the past year, according to the FBI National Instant Background Check System (NICS). Over 1.33 million guns were legally acquired in October alone.

The people do not trust the government to protect them. We have seen the deliberate migrant invasion sweet across the nation. Crime has risen in every major US city and the laws in place prevent the police from arresting criminals. The Israel-Hamas rallies were another tipping point as people are watching their fellow Americans rip down flags and violently take to the streets.

There are about 500 million privately owned guns in the US. The Second Amendment is our key to freedom from an oppressive government. Simply look at history - Hitler confiscated the guns, Mao confiscated the guns, Stalin confiscated the guns, Kim Jung-Il confiscated the guns, Pol Pot confiscated the guns, and Chavez confiscated the guns to name a few. Governments have historically removed the right to bear arms before implementing the most oppressive regimes imaginable. It has happened countless times throughout history, and yet, there are still those who believe we would be safer without the ability to protect ourselves.

Trans indoctrination: Teacher tells 10-year-olds about how an unhappy boy teddy became a happy girl teddy in a lesson from controversial 'inclusion' charity

trans indoctrination video
A recording has emerged (pictured) of a teacher at Prae Wood Primary School, St Albans, reading ten-year-olds a book as part of a No Outsiders lesson that suggests a sad boy called Thomas becomes happy when he turns into a girl called Tilly.
Schoolchildren are being 'indoctrinated' into thinking miserable boys who may be questioning their gender may be happier if they transition to become girls, a promotional video of a primary school inclusion lesson reveals.

Teachers at hundreds of primary schools across the UK are sharing 'nonsense' from lesson plans created by controversial inclusion group No Outsiders.

The group, run by teacher Andrew Moffat, sells £20 teaching guides for babies and children aged 'from birth to 11 years old' that 'present gender ideology as fact'.

Comment: It sounds like "No Outsiders" (a rather telling name, given the general desire of pro-transitioners to segregate children from their parents) is taking up where Tavistock left off. It seems as if schools are no longer safe places for kids!

China's Yuan passes Euro as 2nd top trade currency

The Chinese yuan has past the euro to become the second biggest currency in global trade finance.

That's because companies are flocking to borrow from banks on the mainland because of their rock-bottom interest rates.

Firms have been making a beeline for China's debt markets, issuing record amounts of yuan-denominated bonds and borrowing heavily, as funding costs have risen elsewhere.

Companies and banks are raising record amounts of cash through yuan bonds issued on the mainland and in Hong Kong, known as panda and dim sum bonds, respectively.

Comment: As we've seen on the geopolitical stage, and in the technological arena (such as with chip manufacturing), whilst the US may still dominate in some areas, the balance of power can change significantly, and very quickly:

Israel delivers on its vows to bring hell to Gaza

The Israeli military has delivered on the promises made by the country's leaders to render Gaza uninhabitable for its 2.3 million Palestinian residents, most of them refugees.

The head of the World Food Program said on Thursday:
"Civilians are facing the immediate possibility of starvation. Gaza's "entire population is in desperate need of food assistance."
The meager amounts of food being allowed into Gaza under Israel's comprehensive siege - a collective punishment amounting to a death sentence imposed for more than five weeks - only meets "seven percent of the people's daily minimum caloric needs," the UN's largest humanitarian agency said.

Most of the bakeries in Gaza that weren't targeted and destroyed in Israeli bombing have shut down after running out of fuel, which Israel has refused to allow into the territory. No bakeries are currently operating in the northern half of Gaza.

The World Food Program said that whatever food remains in the few shops that are still open are being sold at inflated prices "and are of little use without the ability to cook."

Israel said that it "had agreed to let in two truckloads of fuel a day at the request of Washington to help the United Nations meet basic needs, and spoke of plans to increase aid more broadly," Reuters reported on Friday.

While COGAT, the Israeli military body that oversees the administration of Gaza, claims "there is no limitation" on the delivery of humanitarian aid, it will still have full control over everything that goes into Gaza.

COGAT says that it will require the UN to provide "lists" of aid and that the military body will check all deliveries. This means that Israel will maintain a chokehold and exercise veto power over the provision of desperately needed life essentials to people that Ghassan Alian, the head of COGAT, described on 10 October as "human beasts".

"You will not have electricity or water, you will just get hell," Alian added, in a clear declaration of intent to commit a crime against humanity.

Nissim Vaturi has argued his country is "too humane" towards Palestinians...

A senior lawmaker in Israel has urged the military to "burn" Gaza and not allow any fuel into the Palestinian enclave unless all hostages held by Hamas are released.

The comments made on Friday by Nissim Vaturi, deputy speaker of the Knesset, are the latest in a string of incendiary remarks by Israeli politicians on the deadly fighting with Hamas.

Vaturi, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
"All of this preoccupation with whether or not there is internet in Gaza shows that we have learned nothing. We are too humane. Burn Gaza now, nothing less! Don't allow fuel in, don't allow water in until the hostages are returned!"
Earlier this month, Netanyahu suspended Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu from cabinet meetings after he suggested using nuclear weapons against the Palestinian enclave.

Worth it? Dylan Mulvaney's six-figure payment for Bud Light deal leaked with marketing team's call

Anheuser-Busch paid "transgender" social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney a six-figure sum to post a video of himself drinking a can of Bud Light earlier this year, resulting in billions of dollars in losses for the company, according to a new report.

Conservative podcaster Steven Crowder said Thursday he had obtained a leaked conference call from June wherein company executives of an AB InBev marketing partner appeared panicked about the then-burgeoning boycott of the brand.

Anheuser-Busch is a subsidiary of Belgium-based AB InBev.

According to a video Crowder posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday morning, Bud Light also misled the public about how much Mulvaney was paid for his costly social media post.

67% of UK's NHS maternity services rated 'inadequate'

midwives nhs
The graphic shows the NHS trusts in England that have logged the biggest drop in midwives between September 2022 and July 2023 — the latest data available. Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust has seen its midwife workforce drop 12.8 per cent over this nine-month period, while Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust has 8.8 per cent fewer staff compared to 10 months earlier, NHS workforce data shows
Every week, it seems, comes more appalling news from the frontline of NHS maternity services.

Yesterday it was revealed that two in three maternity units in England are not safe enough, according to figures from the regulator, the Care Quality Commission.

Officials ranked 67 per cent of services as either 'inadequate' or 'requires improvement', up from 55 per cent a year ago, with a doubling of the proportion of units given the very lowest rating.

Earlier this week, an equally damning report from academics in midwifery called working on NHS labour units 'a warped game of Russian roulette', where there were 'often' less than half the number of staff needed and midwives 'often' did not have enough time for basic care like giving women painkillers or properly sterilising equipment.

Comment: This is merely one consequence of the UK government knowingly underfunding the NHS for well over a decade now. However, from supporting the Covid vaccine coercion, to doctors voting against the training of more medical staff (over concerns it would lead to a decrease in their own salaries) those in healthcare also bear some responsibility.

The incompetence and corruption that is overwhelming institutions in the UK signals that this supposedly developed nation is on the precipice of collapse:
