German officials have been warned to be on their guard against Russian pranksters when answering phone calls, Bild has reported. The media outlet cited a memo from the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), which claimed Moscow was using impersonators to undermine Western governments.

Several top-ranking European officials, including Latvian Foreign Minister Krisjanis Karins and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, have fallen for prank calls by Russian duo Vovan and Lexus in recent months, during which the politicians revealed their thoughts on sensitive topics such as the Ukraine conflict.

In a report on Tuesday, Bild claimed to have seen a warning directed by the German domestic intelligence service to the mayor of Hamburg and senators, urging them to take "precautionary measures against a current Russian disinformation campaign."

The outlet further quoted an anonymous BfV officer as saying that the "faking of false identities is used deliberately to spread false information and publicly make Western politicians look like fools." Bild's source went on to claim that "this is part of the Russian secret service's strategy."

Comment: Maybe if Western politicians weren't such idiots they wouldn't look like fools when being 'pranked'.

UN warns Gaza faces imminent threat of starvation, thirst, and disease outbreaks due to Israel's blockade

UN aid deliveries to Gaza were suspended on Friday due to shortages of fuel and a communications shut down, deepening the misery of thousands of hungry and homeless Palestinians as Israeli troops battled Hamas militants in the enclave.

Comment: There's been very little footage of Israel 'battling' Hamas militants, and that's because Israel has, for the most part, been bombing civilian shelters, residential districts, hospitals, and even the Palestinian parliament building.

The United Nations' World Food Programme said civilians faced the "immediate possibility of starvation" due to the lack of food supplies.

International officials said a humanitarian crisis for the 2.3 million residents of Gaza was entering a new, more dire phase as war entered its seventh week.

Comment: More examples below of Israel's nonsensical propaganda, and war crimes:

Polish company caught supplying Ukraine with munitions made in Switzerland, in contravention of its neutrality rules

ammunition
The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs has confirmed that it is investigating media reports about the alleged supply of Swiss-made ammunition to Ukraine by a Polish company, UMO SP.

Source: European Pravda, citing the Swiss broadcaster RTS

Details: Swiss media outlet Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) published an article on Thursday which claims that Polish company UMO SP re-exported ammunition produced by SwissP Defence to Ukraine.

NZZ also refers to another article published on 1 November in the specialised publication DefenseOne. Referring to customs invoices as evidence, the article reports on two cases in which 145,000 sniper rounds and 500,000 rounds of ammunition for assault rifles were imported into Ukraine.

Comment: Despite signs that the West intends to wind down its proxy war in Ukraine, evidently it's still desperate for munitions; and it's no surprise that it was Poland that was willing to oblige: SouthFront reports on the story:

Social media giants can't dodge all claims that they profit by getting kids hooked

Meta, TikTok and other social media companies must still face some claims of liability over the harm a class action says their platforms cause to young users.

Meta and other powerful social media companies must face parts of a sweeping class action after failing to convince a federal judge to throw out all claims that they are liable for the harmful effects of their apps on young users.

The companies, including TikTok and Snap, tried to get a judge to toss the massive litigation, which accuses them of profiting by making their apps addictive and harmful to children. But U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers ruled Tuesday to dismiss only some of the plaintiffs' five priority claims under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 and the First Amendment.

Hundreds of plaintiffs claim that Meta, Google and others knowingly design their apps to be addictive to children, accusing the companies in a 288-page complaint of making it impossible for parents to ensure that their children avoid harmful or dangerous content.

Florida bill would ban lab-grown meat to protect cattle, farming industries

Florida Republican wants to criminalize lab-grown meat he says USDA, FDA pushing as part of ESG agenda...

A Florida Republican lawmaker has introduced a bill that would criminalize the sale and distribution of lab-grown meat as part of an effort to preserve the state's cattle and farming industries.

The proposal, known as House Bill 435, aims to make it unlawful for any person to manufacture, sell, hold or offer for sale or distribute "cultivated meat," defined as any meat of food product produced from cultured animal cells, in the state of Florida. The bill seeks to establish criminal and licensing penalties, as well as provide that such products are subject to an immediate stop-sale order.

The bill says anyone who violates the ban would be subject to a second-degree misdemeanor, while any establish that distributes or sells cultivated meat is subject to disciplinary action, including suspension of the business' license. The legislation would authorize the state Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to adopt rules to implement the ban.

State Rep. Tyler Sirois, who introduced the bill earlier this week, told Politico that he believes lab-grown meat is an "affront to nature and creation" and is part of the latest initiative in the "ESG agenda." GOP presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has taken a bold stance against ESG, or environmental, social and corporate governance, arguing the globalist ideology threatens economic freedom and other American values.

COO of UPSIDE Foods Amy Chen joined 'Cavuto: Coast to Coast' to discuss the company's latest push to sell lab-grown meat.

Comment: If this 'industry' takes off, the price of farm-grown meat will likely skyrocket.

Short-staffed NYPD will freeze hiring of new cops as part of 'painful' budget cuts to fund migrant crisis

New York City will place a hiring freeze on new police department recruits as part of the city's "painful" budget cuts, sources told the New York Post Wednesday.

Democratic Mayor Eric Adams is expected to announce substantial budget cuts Thursday that will impact the already short-staffed New York Police Department, the sources stated.

The NYPD currently has approximately 33,500 officers after losing nearly 3,000 cops to retirement and resignation since 2019. Meanwhile, overall crime in the city remains high.

The mayor will scale back migrant spending by 20% and announce fewer sanitation department litter basket pickups, multiple sources told the Post.

A source who was briefed by NYC's budget director, Jacques Jiha, told the news outlet: "Everything is being cut. Nothing is being held harmless."

Musk under fire after endorsing 'anti-Semitic' post

Elon Musk

A major advertiser has put its cooperation with X (formerly Twitter) on hold, as platform owner Elon Musk faces calls to step down over alleged anti-Semitism. The billionaire has received backlash after he agreed with a user who many said was promoting 'Great Replacement Theory,' - one of the staples of far-right ideology in the US.

While Musk had previously been accused of tolerating anti-Semitic messages on X, the tech entrepreneur insisted that he does not espouse hatred of Jews. He did criticize Israel's heavy-handed tactics in Gaza earlier this month, arguing that they were bound to create more terrorists in the long run.

On Wednesday, Musk wrote that an X user had "said the actual truth" when he accused Jewish communities of "hatred against whites." The post, which the billionaire agreed with, went on to suggest that Jewish people are now "coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities that support flooding their country don't exactly like them too much."

Not long afterwards, IBM issued a statement saying it had "immediately suspended all advertising on X while we investigate this entirely unacceptable situation." The technology giant added that it "has zero tolerance for hate speech."

Comment: Here's the so-called "anti-Semitic" tweets in question:

It's clear from the tweets that Musk isn't being anti-Semitic. He's just tired of the ADL and similar groups who's bread and butter is endless race-baiting and wants their hateful rhetoric to stop.

Australia passes laws to handle migrant convicts who can't be held indefinitely or deported

Andrew Giles
© AP/Mick TsikasAustralian Minister for Immigration Andrew Giles presents the emergency Migration Amendment Bill in the House of Representatives at Parliament House in Canberra, Australia, Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023. High-risk migrants will face up to five years in prison for breaching their visa conditions under emergency laws that have been introduced to Parliament in response to a landmark High Court ruling that they can't be held in detention indefinitely.
Migrants with criminal records face up to five years in prison for breaching their visa conditions under emergency legislation passed by the Australian Parliament on Thursday.

The new legislation was in response to a High Court ruling that foreigners can't be detained indefinitely as an alternative to deportation.

The government said it has released 84 people — most of whom have convictions for crimes including murder and rape — since the court ruled last week that indefinite detention of migrants is unconstitutional.

The decision reversed a High Court ruling from 2004 that had allowed stateless people to be held in migrant centers for any length of time in cases where there were no prospects of deporting them from Australia.

The decision also undercuts Australia's harsh policies toward asylum-seekers who arrive by boat and criminals who are deported despite long years living in Australia. Boats carrying smuggled people have virtually stopped arriving in the decade since Australia banished their passengers to remote Pacific island detention camps.

Comment: Perhaps indefinite detention isn't the best way forward, but neither is an open border. Having some form of punishment and redress on the books to keep the character-disturbed in check is better than letting those who would do harm to Australians do so with impunity.

Dr. Malone: Plasmid DNA contamination in Covid-19 vaccines is 'clear breach of informed consent' by FDA

Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of mRNA and DNA vaccines, slammed health regulatory agencies for not informing people about potential plasmid DNA contamination in mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

An Oct. 19 preprint study found billions of residual DNA fragments in mRNA COVID-19 vaccine vials. While billions of copies of spike, ori, and SV40 enhancer DNA were discovered in the Pfizer vaccine vials, Moderna vials were found to contain copies of ori and spike DNA. The SV40 virus is a DNA virus known to cause cancer in lab animals.

Talking about the study in a Nov. 11 Substack post, Dr. Malone said that plasmid DNA contamination in the vaccines is a "proven fact" that has been "acknowledged by the US FDA, Health Canada, and the European Medicines Agency."

"In yet another clear breach of informed consent and labeling requirements, this was not previously disclosed to physicians, public health officials, or patients," he wrote.
