Police claim handcuffed teen shot herself in the head during a traffic stop, witnesses disagree

A mother is grieving and also crying foul after police say her 19-year-old daughter killed herself during a routine traffic stop. According to the mother, police told her that her daughter was handcuffed when she somehow got a gun and shot herself. But witnesses tell a different story.

Dawn Wilson, the mother of 19-year-old Sarah Wilson has come forward to speak out about the inconsistencies in the case and the possibility of something far more sinister than a suicide.

"In all of her life I have never known of her to shoot a gun, own a gun, or even hold a gun," said Wilson. "I'm not pointing fingers, I don't know what happened. I wasn't there, but I need to know, and I think that's fair I'm her mom."

Wilson explained to ABC 13 that her daughter was the passenger in a car that was pulled over during a traffic stop. Police told Wilson that during the stop, Sarah produced a gun and used it to take her own life.

"Things are not matching up, somewhere somehow, there is a discrepancy," said Wilson who said that police have told her one thing while telling the media something completely different.

Outrage is erupting among government officials and parents as a decision has been announced to house sex offenders in an 'open prison,' with no fence, right by a children's school. Even the police chief is speaking out about the decision, noting that it is a "serious concern."

Students at Appleton Thorn Primary School in Cheshire, UK will soon start seeing an influx of child molesters and rapists moving in next door as the Ministry of Justice begins relocating sex offenders as part of a new program.

The announcement was received with outrage by Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner David Keane who called an urgent meeting to address this incredibly poor decision.

A scene from a horror movie: Kangaroo crashes into family home window, collapses in a bloody heap beside toilet

A family in Melbourne was given the late-night wake-up call of their lives when a panicked kangaroo smashed through the front window of their home and hopped around, bloodied from a series of flesh wounds.

The startled roo broke into the home of Mafi Ahokavo and his family on Saturday night, creating a significant stir by jumping around several rooms of the property.

According to Australia's 9 News, the animal was wounded when it crashed through the glass. After smearing blood on a wall, the roo then attempted to escape via a second window. The residents of the home eventually managed to lock it in a bathroom, where it collapsed beside a toilet from exhaustion.

Animal rescuer Manfred Zabinska was one of the first responders who called out to the property, which he described as looking like a scene from a horror movie. The rescuer has posted images online showing the aftermath of the incredible incident.

Greetings from Britain, where the Jewish community is facing an "existential threat to Jewish life". At least that's according to an editorial shared by all three of our Jewish community newspapers this week - the Jewish Chronicle, The Jewish News, and the Jewish Telegraph.

You're probably thinking that Her Majesty's Government must have just introduced the equivalent of Hitler's Nuremberg race Laws of 1935. Perhaps it's worse. Perhaps the round-ups have already begun.

Don't worry, you haven't missed a major global news story. Britain remains one of the safest places to live as a Jew on the entire planet. That doesn't mean there's no anti-Jewish prejudice here. It's just that there's a great deal less of it than some people want you to believe. That's true for now, but how long will it last?

Four migrant men have been arrested after a middle-aged woman was gang-raped on the night of France's World Cup win.

The woman was found with a badly swollen face in the commune of Oudon in the Loire-Atlantique department the following morning, Ouest France reports.

Locals were horrified by the crime, and an atmosphere of mistrust is said to have settled on Oudon, with some female residents telling journalists they are now afraid to go jogging in the evening.

A Pennsylvania man was convicted on all charges in the death of his 12-year-old daughter, who was shot by a constable serving eviction papers with a bullet that went through her father's arm.

Perry county authorities said that in January 2016 Donald Meyer Jr, 60, pointed a loaded rifle at the constable. The officer fired and the bullet wounded Meyer but killed Ciara Meyer, who was standing behind him.

District attorney Andrew Bender told jurors Meyer was responsible for his daughter's death.

Comment: It would seem like Meyer is responsible for the events that lead to his daughter's death, but it seems odd to charge him with murder given the bullet that killed her wasn't fired by him. Shouldn't the cop have known better than to shoot someone with a young child standing behind him?

Norwegian Olympic cross-country skiing gold medalist Vibeke Skofterud has been found dead at the age of 38 after a tragic jet ski accident in southern Norway.

Skofterud was found by rescue services near the island of St. Helen at around noon on Sunday after being reported missing overnight.

Police are investigating the cause of death but are treating the tragic incident as an accident, according to Spiegel. The former cross country skier was said to have been traveling alone at the time of her death.

Two men shot 'indiscriminately' in area popular with locals, police say, as city mayor calls for end to violence

Three people were killed and seven injured when two men opened fire into a large crowd outside a New Orleans strip mall on Saturday.

Police said the men shot "indiscriminately", one with a rifle and the other with a handgun. According to the city police chief, Michael Harrison, the pair stood over one person and fired multiple shots before fleeing.

First responders found two men and one woman who were pronounced dead at the scene. Five men and two women were taken to two hospitals. None were immediately publicly identified.

Comment: Random shootings are the new normal. Are we used to this yet?

One of the hundreds of thousands of unwed mothers forced by the Canadian government to surrender their babies after WWII has told RT she thought she would never see her daughter again.

Over 300,000 mothers are believed to have been impacted by Canada's draconian adoption laws between the 1940s and 1970s. They saw unwed women being forced to give their babies up for adoption to traditional families. Some were told to "get a puppy to cuddle" instead.

Hanne Andersen told RT she was impregnated at the age of 15 after being allegedly raped. Yet authorities failed to assess her case thoroughly.

"There was no conversation with me about how I got pregnant, all they cared about was the fact that I got pregnant and that I had a baby that they could take," Andersen told RT.

The Permian shale play in West Texas is once again booming with drilling and is full of oil field workers, some of which are abusing drugs and alcohol to help them get through long shifts, harsh working conditions, and loneliness and isolation.

Drugs are easily accessible in the Permian, which is close to highways and to Mexico. For oil field workers making six-figure salaries, money is not a problem to buy all kinds of illegal substances to shoot, snort and swallow to get through 24-hour-plus shifts. The physically exhaustive work also sometimes causes aches for workers, making them susceptible to getting hooked on prescription painkillers.

The drug and alcohol abuse subculture in the Permian is a known-yet rarely reported or discussed-issue in the most prolific US shale play, where oil production is booming, and relentless drilling attracts oil field workers from all over Texas and all parts of the United States.
