While trying to kill a family's dog, cop accidentally shoots 11-year-old boy

Gun, dog, child
Once again, a cop's fear of a dog has put others in harm's way, and, once again, an innocent person was hurt. This time, an 11-year-old boy was struck by a police officer's bullet when the officer was attempting to kill his dog.

This week, a deputy from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department was responding to a call over a possible disturbance at a home. When the deputy knocked on the door, the 11-year-old boy answered and-like most dogs in the world do when they hear a knock at the door-his pup ran out.

Instead of doing what any postal worker, pizza delivery driver, or UPS driver would do-by solving the situation without a gun-the cop pulled out his service weapon and attempted to kill the boy's dog. Luckily, for the dog, the cop is a terrible shot. However, the boy was not so lucky.

Neo-McCarthyism engulfs America: The case of Maria Butina and the NRA

Maria Butina
Maria Butina
The United States Department of Justice would apparently have you believe that the Kremlin sought to subvert the five-million-member strong National Rifle Association (NRA) by having two Russian citizens take out life memberships in the organization with the intention of corrupting it and turning it into a mouthpiece for President Vladimir Putin. Both of the Russians - Maria Butina and Alexander Torshin - have, by the way, long well documented histories as advocates for gun ownership and were founders of Right to Bear Arms, which is not an intelligence front organization of some kind and is rather a genuine lobbying group with an active membership and agenda. Contrary to what has been reported in the mainstream media, Russians can own guns but the licensing and registration procedures are long and complicated, which Right to Bear Arms, modeling itself on the NRA, is seeking to change.

Maria Butina, a graduate student at American University, is now in solitary confinement in a federal prison, having been charged with collusion with Torshin and failure to register as an agent of the Russian Federation. It is unusual to arrest and confine someone who has failed to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, but she has not been granted bail because, as a Russian citizen, she is considered to be a "flight risk," likely to try to flee the US and return home. It is to be presumed that she is being pressured to identify others involved in her alleged scheme to overthrow American democracy through NRA membership.

Utah man dive-bombs Cessna into his own house after fighting with his wife

A Utah man flew a small aircraft into his own house, kamikaze-style, hours after he had been arrested for assaulting his wife during an argument, police say.

Duane Youd, 47, died in the crash, as the light-skinned Cessna disintegrated on impact and burst into flames. Youd's wife and a child, both inside the house, survived and the house remained intact.

Youd had been arrested by police in Payson, Utah, earlier on Sunday, after witnesses reported seeing him assault his wife. The troubled couple had been drinking and had gone to a scenic local spot to talk their problems through, Sgt. Spencer Cannon of the Utah County Sheriff's Office said.

Luton Town CEO asks football fans to stop chanting support for Tommy Robinson

A section of Luton Town football fans have been singing in support of their fellow fan and right-wing activist Tommy Robinson, prompting the club's CEO to write an open letter asking them to stop the chants.

During Luton's loss to West Brom in the Carabao Cup, Tuesday, a section of the 1,100 travelling fans were heard singing in support of the recently-bailed Robinson. The club's CEO, Gary Sweet, published on open letter outlining his disappointment. "Our experience was blemished, for the second away game running, by hearing the chanting of the name of a political figurehead by a small number of Hatters supporters," Sweet wrote.

"This is hugely disappointing for us, as a board, because the individual in question wasn't playing or involved in the squad or staff. Everyone at the club has worked extremely hard and will continue to work tirelessly to create an environment - whether that be Kenilworth Road, Power Court or any away game - for our community of supporters to support their team and enjoy a football match knowing that all prejudice - whether that be political, religious, cultural or racial - can and should be left for another day.

Comment: Tommy Robinson's growing support is becoming a nuisance the UK government, thus we can expect more attempts to silence him and his supporters:

The Saudi attack on Yemeni school bus was just 1 of 50+ attacks on civilian vehicles in 2018

The recent airstrike by the Saudi-led coalition on a school bus in the Yemeni province of Saada was just one of more than 50 airstrikes on civilian vehicles conducted by the Arab states since the beginning of the year, The Guardian newspaper reported on Thursday.

According to the Yemen Data Project, an independent observation team, the Saudi-led coalition has carried out a total of 55 airstrikes on civilian vehicles in January-July, The Guardian reported.

What is more, data from Human Rights Watch suggests that the Joint Incidents Assessment Team, established in the Saudi capital of Riyadh to monitor and probe into incidents involving civilian casualties, confirms the account of events presented by the Saudi-led coalition almost in every case, the news outlet added.

Comment: One of the biggest lies of the past 80 years has been that the U.S. establishment values basic human rights. They don't. It's easy to virtue signal when your 'enemy' does something morally reprehensible. It's somewhat harder to completely manufacture atrocity propaganda when they're not in fact being evil - but that doesn't stop the U.S. from doing that too. But the lie is exposed whenever a U.S. ally flagrantly kills civilians, reporters, medics, children - whether it's Israel or Saudi Arabia. And then the U.S. self-image as a supporter of freedom and human rights is exposed for what it is: a total myth upheld by the most morally reprehensible hypocrites.

US 'refugee' arrested in California after discovery that he was ISIS, killed Iraqi policeman - 'vetting' system slammed as failure

An Iraqi refugee has been arrested in the US after allegedly killing a police officer while he fought for the terrorist Islamic State group in 2014. It has cast doubt on the efficacy of the US resettlement scheme.

Omar Abdulsattar Ameen, 45, is wanted on a murder charge in Iraq over his killing of officer Ihsan Abdulhafiz Jasim in the town of Rawah. He was arrested by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force in May on a warrant issued by the Federal Court in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.

Citing several witness interviews, prosecutors said Ameen had been part of Al-Qaeda in Iraq since 2004 before he joined IS (Islamic State, formerly ISIS). An Iraqi intelligence report also alleges that he was one of the founders of a terrorist group that became affiliated with Al-Qaeda and was a "close associate" of its leader.

He failed to reveal his affiliation with both terrorist organizations when applying for refugee status in the US, instead portraying himself as a victim of violence. It led to his application being accepted by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services on June 5, 2014.

Rather than immediately immigrating to the US, however, Ameen went back to Iraq, where he allegedly murdered the official less than three weeks later.

He was resettled in Sacramento on November 4 the same year, prosecutors said.

Comment: Implication #1: There are dangerous extremists hidden amongst the 'refugee/asylum-seeker' population. Implication #2: The FBI is either incompetent or complicit in keeping them from justice. People power! Venezuelans march to reject assassination attempt - show support for President Maduro

Venezuela protest assassination Maduro
© teleSURPeople gather in Caracas streets for a march in rejection of the assassination attempt against Venezuelan President Maduro.
"I call on the political sectors of the country to condemn the use of terrorist methods to impose their position," president of the National Constituent Assembly Diosdado Cabello said.

The forces of the Bolivarian Revolution and the people marched Monday in favor of peace and in rejection of the assassination attempt that took place on Aug. 4 against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

With joy, enthusiasm people marched as part of this mobilization that supports peace and rejects violence.

Karen Melendez said that "our participation in the march is important and vital, it is a march for peace, sovereignty and independence and consolidation of our achievements and struggles of the people on foot, of the people who go out every day to build a beautiful country."

Comment: Regular Venezuelan citizens recognize that Maduro and his predecessor, Hugo Chavez, have long been a thorn in the side of the US imperialists. Attempts to remove that thorn using local proxies have only solidified Maduro's support.

Ontario's finance minister says province will have 'robust supply' when cannabis legalized in October

Ontario Canada marijuana growers
Ontario's finance minister said the province will be ready with "robust supply" when recreational cannabis becomes legal on Oct. 17, but there's still a lot left of work to be done before it can sell cannabis in stores.

"We have various suppliers to Ontario - numerous, actually - suppliers from across the country, including many in Ontario that will supply [cannabis]," Ontario Finance Minister Vic Fedeli told BNN Bloomberg in an interview Monday, noting the names of those suppliers will be released at a later date. "And the [Ontario] Cannabis Store will be the wholesaler industry bidder."

"There is certainly going to be a robust supply ready for us on Oct. 17," he added.

Ontario's Progressive Conservative government announced Monday an overhaul to the former Liberal government's retail rollout plan for recreational cannabis.

Russia's #1 news anchor makes convincing case for British Intelligence murdering Boris Berezovsky

The miserable fate of a traitor and criminal.

Kiselyov does a great job here explaining who had the ultimate motive in eliminating Berezovsky.

The man was a repugnant con-artist, criminal and murderer, who most likely murdered the American Forbes editor Paul Khlebnikov in Moscow in 2004. He was the epitome of the Jewish mafia that Putin ran out of the country in the early 2000s.

He fled to the UK, and conspired with British Intelligence to fight Russia and Putin at all costs, and was murdered by them when they realized he knew too much.
