While Clinton, the FBI and the US 'deep state' accused Trump of colluding with Russians to subvert American democracy, the truth is precisely the opposite: Clinton, the FBI and the US 'deep state' colluded to subvert American democracy. Russia was merely the patsy of choice, as usual.See also:
The whole Russiagate "investigation" was based on the Fusion GPS dossier. Every lead seems to come back to that piece of tabloid fiction. But the dossier is now thoroughly discredited, and by extension, so are all those who took it seriously. Everyone connected - from the instigators, to those who facilitated the surveillance, to those who repeated its claims and used them as justification to 'get Trump' - is at risk of being exposed for facilitating this illegal witch-hunt spurred on by pure hysteria.
In short, no one comes out of this looking clean. Except Trump. Which is why the DoJ, FBI and Intel community are doing everything they can to draw attention away from their own complicity and conspiracy. Congressman Jordan is correct. The US needs a new special counsel - not to investigate imaginary Russian collusion, but to investigate the very real, and very extensive, collusion to manufacture a justification for taking down the democratically-elected president of the USA.

The letter was sent to Representative Mike Conaway of Texas, who took over the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election from Devin Nunes, after Nunes recused himself earlier this year.
The letter says that Trump Jr. and his attorneys were promised that the interview would be "kept strictly confidential and not discussed publicly unless and until the full committee voted to release the transcript."
Trump Jr. and his attorney say that while he was still being interviewed, "members of the committee and/or their staff began selectively leaking information provided during the interview to various press outlets, most notably CNN."
"I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office"-- apparently a reference to Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe -- "that there's no way he gets elected -- but I'm afraid we can't take that risk. It's like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you're 40 . . . ."That was just one of the anti-Trump text messages former FBI agent Peter Strzok sent to former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, whom he dated.
"And maybe you're meant to stay where you are because you're meant to protect the country from that menace."Page's stint with the FBI had ended by the time Strzok was removed from the special counsel Russia investigation this past summer when the text messages were apparently discovered by the FBI. The time of the text messages between the two former FBI employees spanned from August to December 2016. Strzok also helped open the investigation into alleged collusion between President Trump and Russia.
"Trump's best tactic is to sit tight - now, no matter what, half the country is going to believe that Mueller's investigation was never motivated by truth. That's a win for Trump, and an automatic loss for Mueller."
Comment: The anti-Trump, anti-Russia "investigation" is coming apart at the seams. If only the people involved could grasp what utter and complete idiots they look like. This is the political equivalent of getting roped in by one of those "Nigerian doctor" email scams. No wonder they're all trying to cover their backsides and hype their trivial indictments of Flynn et al. In short, they've got a lot to hide, lest they admit to the world that they're bungling halfwits. See also:
