Exorcising the ghost of Russiagate: Rudy Giuliani makes a powerful statement about US media bias after Atlas uproar

Giuliani/RT

Trump's personal lawyer seemed to be making a strong personal statement when he appeared for an interview on RT, just days after White House Covid-19 guru Scott Atlas offered an apology for the same 'offense'.

To understand how significant it was for Rudy Giuliani to appear as a guest on RT's Going Underground program, it is necessary to rewind back to Saturday, October 31. Halloween was the day it became clear that the ghost of Russiagate had still not been exorcised from the global stage. In the 'studio' was White House Covid-19 guru Scott Atlas, who had voluntarily agreed to be interviewed by a Russian 'foreign agent' - in this case, Going Underground host Afshin Rattansi. Are you spooked yet?

To make matters scarier for Atlas, he harshly criticized the response to Covid-19 in the United States, where millions of Americans are currently enduring a harsh lockdown protocol, which has been accepted as religious dogma. The refusal on the behalf of a small number of American doctors to consider a 'second opinion' when it comes to Covid is strange, and flies in the face of conventional medical practice, where doctors are expected to challenge each other.

Austria's terror attacker was known to authorities, Switzerland alerted them to ammunition purchase attempt

© AP Photo/Matthias SchraderA military police officer guard at the crime scene near a synagogue in Vienna, Austria, Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020. Several shots were fired shortly after 8 p.m. local time on Monday, Nov. 2, in a lively street in the city center of Vienna.
Slovakian intelligence told their Austrian counterparts in July that the gunman who killed four people in a terror attack in Vienna this week had tried to buy ammunition there and mistakes were apparently made in dealing with that information, Austrian authorities have conceded.

The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Kujtim Fejzulai, had a previous conviction for trying to join the so-called Islamic State group in Syria and had been given early release in December.

In addition to killing two men and two women, he wounded more than 20 people in a nine-minute attack before being killed by police on Monday night. Bars and cafes were crowded with people enjoying warm weather and a last evening out before a new coronavirus lockdown.

Comment: We've heard similar tall tales before that it's a wonder more people aren't just a little suspicious: An aspiring terrorist some how slips through the cracks of the intelligence agencies, even though he's actively being monitored, or is known to be acting suspiciously, and a curious sequence of mistakes allows the terrorist to commit atrocities. These horrifying events are then used by authorities to justify further power grabs and the imposition of even more draconian restrictions that the general public must suffer.

Russia's top spy was forced to explain the gravity of mass protests in Belarus to its embattled President Alexander Lukashenko. The explosive claim comes from a foreign policy expert with close ties to Moscow's diplomatic service.

The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergey Naryshkin, was dispatched to Minsk for talks with President Lukashenko, in late October, as the rallies entered their third month. The unrest began in August after the opposition refused to accept the results of a presidential election which is widely believed to have been rigged.

Speaking to Russian news agency TASS on Tuesday, Vladimir Zharikhin, Deputy Director of the CIS Institute shed light on how Naryshkin allegedly urged Lukashenko to take the situation seriously.

Best of the Web: Hunter Biden laptop labeled 'national security nightmare'

biden laptop security lapse drivers license
© The Daily MailHunter's laptop contains 11 gigabytes of material and covers the period from when Mr Biden served as Vice President under Mr Obama to when Hunter dropped it at the Mac Store in Wilmington. His driving license is pictured
The son of the man expected by many to be America's next President abandoned a laptop containing a treasure trove of top-secret material, including his father's private emails and mobile phone numbers, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

In an astonishing lapse, Hunter Biden chose to protect his MacBook Pro computer - crammed with what an IT expert last night described as a 'national security nightmare' and 'classic blackmail material' - with a single, simple password: Hunter02.

Remarkably, the 50-year-old businessman and self-confessed drug addict took the machine to a back-street IT store in Delaware in April 2019 to get it repaired - yet never returned to collect it.

Its existence was revealed by the New York Post last month, but the staggering scale and sensitivity of its contents - easily accessible to a hacker with a modicum of skill - is only revealed for the first time today.

Update 1207ET:
In subsequent tweets, President Trump wrote "They are finding Biden votes all over the place โ€” in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. So bad for our Country!," adding "They are working hard to make up 500,000 vote advantage in Pennsylvania disappear โ€” ASAP. Likewise, Michigan and others!"

Comment: Maybe this recent Biden gaffe has something to do with these very obvious irregularities??

Trump tweets that Democrats are 'trying to steal' the election - Twitter flags it as 'misleading'

Trump Twitter
President Trump tweeted that Democrats are "trying to STEAL the Election," while claiming a "big win" โ€” a post that Twitter flagged as "misleading" content.

"We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election," Trump tweeted just before 1:00 a.m. Wednesday. "We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!"

Twitter flagged the president's tweet, shortly after it was posted, noting that "some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process."

Twitter's flag on the president's tweet linked out to a page to "learn about US 2020 election security efforts."

Reports say Trump's plan is to declare premature victory, but he says he's not

President Trump has told confidants he'll declare victory on Tuesday night if it looks like he's "ahead," according to three sources familiar with his private comments. That's even if the Electoral College outcome still hinges on large numbers of uncounted votes in key states like Pennsylvania.

The latest: Speaking to reporters on Sunday evening, Trump denied that he would declare victory prematurely, before adding,
"I think it's a terrible thing when ballots can be collected after an election. I think it's a terrible thing when states are allowed to tabulate ballots for a long period of time after the election is over.

"I think it's terrible that we can't know the results of an election the night of the election. ... We're going to go in the night of, as soon as that election's over, we're going in with our lawyers.

"We don't want to have Pennsylvania, where you have a political governor, a very partisan guy. ... We don't want to be in a position where he's allowed, every day, to watch ballots come in. See if we can only find 10,000 more ballots."
Behind the scenes: Trump has privately talked through this scenario in some detail in the last few weeks, describing plans to walk up to a podium on election night and declare he has won. For this to happen, his allies expect he would need to either win or have commanding leads in Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Iowa, Arizona and Georgia.

Comment: President Trump denies saying he will claim victory early in US election before all the votes have been counted:
Trump rebutted the article's claim he would claim early victory, saying: 'No, no that was a false report.' He did, however, say that he is prepared to take legal action in states where the result is close.

It was unclear precisely what he meant. Trump has repeatedly called for the election result to be declared quickly. 'I don't think it's fair that we have to wait for a long period of time after the election,' he said.

Some states may take longer to know which candidate will earn their Electoral College votes tomorrow because of this. The Daily Mail reported that Pennsylvania, for example, will accept postal ballots until Friday while North Carolina will still count ballots even eight days after Election Day - though the latter state's election officials said 97% of ballots will already be tallied and reported by Election Night.
Dems dig in their heels for a contested outcome:
This one tweeted by a New York Times national political reporter:

Pro-Biden analytics firm Hawkfish previously asserted that it's likely President Trump will appear to have won in a landslide on election night but may lose after mail in ballots are counted, which "will take days if not weeks to tally."

Big Tech, Democrats and the mass media have all repeatedly insisted that Trump will not be allowed to declare victory on the night, regardless of the Electoral College count.

Best of the Web: Hours before the election, the Biden campaign has gone full Marxist

JBidenKHarris

With hours left before the election, the Biden-Harris ticket has decided on its closing pitch: full blown Marxism. In a video posted to her Twitter account on Sunday, Kamala Harris draws a distinction between "equality" and "equity." She claims that "equality" is the belief that "everyone should get the same amount" while equity ensures that "we all end up at the same place."

According to Harris, equity over equality should be our goal because even if everyone "gets the same amount" the person who started out ahead will still have an unfair advantage. "Equitable treatment," on the other hand, will get us all to the same spot on the mountaintop, holding hands and singing hymns of unity.

There are a number of serious problems with this plan.

Comment: It is clear Harris has no viable concept of governance, nor a mastery of what American rights guarantee each and every citizen. By her definition, we will all be vice president - or she will not.

Best of the Web: 'Sin begets sin': The fall of Jeremy Corbyn will be felt around the world

Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party have finally succumbed to pressure from Zionist organizations in the UK in a move with enormous international ramifications.

There can be little doubt that the ousting of Jeremy Corbyn from the UK Labour Party was the result of a well-planned strategy by a coalition of Zionist organizations, which includes the state of Israel's own Ministry of Strategic Affairs. And while Corbyn is undoubtedly not anti-semitic, nor racist in way shape, or form, he made one colossal strategic mistake: He did not fight the Zionist propaganda levied against him nor did he fight the outrageous accusations of anti-semitism that were laid upon him and so many other good hard-working anti-racist members of his Party.

Pelosi: House is prepared to decide president if election results are disputed

Pelosi

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told NPR on Monday that Congress is prepared to decide the presidential election if the results are disputed.

"We understand what the law is and the preeminence of the role of Congress and specifically the House of Representatives when it comes to counting the votes," Pelosi said in an interview with the public radio station.

Should the presidential election not present a clear winner by electoral vote, then it is up to the House to choose the next president.
"We're ready. We're prepared. We've been ready for a while because we see this irresponsibility of the president, his disrespect for the Constitution, for our democracy and for the integrity of our elections. So we're ready for him."
