Pfizer drops India vaccine application after failing to meet safety standards

covid vaccine
A pharmacist administers a dose of the Pfizer BioNtech COVID-19 vaccine at a mass vaccination site at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.
Pfizer Inc said on Friday it had withdrawn an application for emergency-use authorisation of its COVID-19 vaccine in India, after failing to meet the drug regulator's demand for a local safety and immunogenicity study.

The decision means the vaccine will not be available for sale in the world's two most populous countries, India and China, in the near future. Both countries are running their immunisation campaigns using other products.

Unlike other companies conducting small studies in India for foreign-developed vaccines, Pfizer had sought an exception citing approvals it had received elsewhere based on trials done in countries such as the United States and Germany.

Comment: According to a BBC report, India has not approved any of the highly experimental mRNA jabs. Which is notable because it's becoming quite clear that these also pose the greatest risk: RNA Vaccines, Obedience and Eugenics

The first Black federal judge in Alabama spoke out against one of President Biden's potential Supreme Court picks in a letter addressed to the commander in chief that was obtained by NBC News.

U.W. Clemon, a former chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, urged the president not to consider Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson for the vacancy.

The retired judge said that there are "several exceptionally well-qualified black female aspirants for the Supreme Court" but that he "strongly" believes Jackson should not be considered.

Do the hawks of the Empire actually want a war with Russia?

NATO Ukraine
The West has maneuvered Ukraine into being a 'tripwire' for Russia
Unwise, inflammatory talk from politicians needs to be toned down before it sparks an unnecessary conflict

From what I have been reading and hearing over the weekend, it would appear there are those in Washington and London who are keen to see a war with Russia. But why? What would war achieve, beyond the loss of innocent lives? The answer, clearly, is absolutely nothing.

Rather than dialling down the language and acting like statesmen, politicians on both sides of the Atlantic have spent the past few days talking up the prospect of war. US President Joe Biden, for example, announced that "things could go crazy quickly" and told the country's citizens to leave Ukraine, which led other nations around the world, including the UK, to swiftly follow suit.

Something seriously doesn't add up in Olympic skater Kamila Valieva's doping case

Kamila Valieva doping olympics
© Dimitris Isevidis/Anadolu Agency via Getty ImagesFILE PHOTO: Fifteen year-old Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva is seen in practice at the Bejiing Winter Olympics, February 2022. The International Olympic Committee has defended plans to include Russian and Belarusian athletes at the Paris 2024 Games.
The news that Kamila Valieva has tested positive for a banned substance raises more questions than answers

Heading into the Winter Olympics, Kamila Valieva would have been forgiven for thinking that the main opposition she faced in Beijing would be from her rivals on the ice.

Utterly dominant all season, Valieva looked liked a shoo-in for the ladies' singles title in Beijing, having wrapped up the European and Russian crowns in recent months, and after already collecting one gold medal for the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) with a dazzling display in the team event in the Chinese capital.

But as we now know, the 15-year-old is confronted with far bigger opposition to her further success in Beijing than just her figure skating competitors.

Comment: Some background. Valieva did indeed pass a gauntlet of doping tests:
In a statement on Friday, the ROC confirmed the positive test, but affirmed that it had taken place outside the Beijing Games.

"The doping test of the athlete [Valieva] who tested positive does not apply to the period of the Olympic Games," read an ROC message.

"At the same time, the athlete [Valieva] repeatedly passed doping tests before and after December 25, 2021, including at the European Championships [in January] and already in Beijing during the figure skating tournament. All the results were negative."

The ROC added that due procedure had been followed when the disciplinary commission of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) decided to lift the initial suspension, but noted that the IOC and ISU also have the right to appeal that decision with CAS.

"At present, the athlete has the right to train and compete in full without restrictions until the Court of Arbitration for Sport decides otherwise regarding her status in relation to the Olympic Games," the ROC added.

Concerning the status of the ROC's gold medal in the figure skating team event - where the medal ceremony has been delayed - the Russian statement added: "Given that the athlete's positive doping test was not taken during the Olympic Games, the results of the athlete and the results of the team tournament during the Olympic Games are not subject to automatic review."
The US sporting world is salivating at the prospect of suing Russian athletes in court:
Legislation allows American prosecutors to pursue up to $1 million and jail terms of up to 10 years for actions affecting American athletes' results

The head of the US Anti Doping Agency (USADA) has fiercely criticized the "Russian state system" and said that those involved in Winter Olympics figure skating star Kamila Valieva's doping case could be prosecuted under the American Rodchenkov Act (RADA).

The act, which was signed into US law in 2020, gives American prosecutors the power to seek fines of up to $1 million and jail terms of up to 10 years for actions affecting American athletes' results in a bill that can be applied to non-Americans.

15-year-old Valieva produced a stunning performance to help the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) win gold in the team figure skating event at the Beijing Games on Monday, only for the IOC to call off the medal ceremony because of an unspecified legal issue.

The International Testing Agency (ITA) said on Friday that Valieva, who is favorite to win the singles competition next week, had failed a drug test taken at the national championships in St Petersburg on December 25.

"The act has been used to protect one Olympic Games," USADA boss Travis Tygart told Reuters, referring to the 2020 Tokyo Games which took place in 2021.

Ukraine's neo-Nazi led group Azov Battalion giving weapons training to civilians

Ukraine's neo-Nazi affiliated group Azov battalion
Members of Ukraine's far right movement Azov held military training for Mariupol residents on Sunday to teach them self-defence in case of an attack from Russia.

Comment: Russia has no plans to 'attack'. President Zelensky said as much himself. Russia is, however, preparing to defend itself and the breakaway republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, as well as recently reuinted Crimea, in the event of a US-backed false flag, or an attack by Ukraine.

Ukraine's far right Azov Battalion, part of Special Forces Unit at Ukraine's National Guard, trained residents to assemble and dissemble a gun, to load ammunition and aim at targets as Russia amassed over 100,000 troops at the border with Ukraine.

A 79-year-old local resident, Valentyna Konstantynovska says she wants to be ready to defend her family in case of a Russian invasion.

Comment: See tweets below for more detail. It's notable that Ukraine has been on quite the cannon fodder drive recently, saying that it will even conscript all women between the ages of 18 and 60, despite Ukrainians being, on the whole, against the idea.

Comment: Russia also recently pulled its diplomats over concerns of provocations against its staff.

For some context on the story, one must go to bypass the legacy media:

Federal Reserve to conduct 'hypothetical recession' drill

Federal Reserve
© Getty Images / Igor GolovniovThe Federal Reserve will test the ability to manage a 'severely adverse' system collapse
The Fed is about to conduct its annual "stress test" on the largest US banks, measuring their ability to manage events like a drop in real estate and other asset prices coupled with a surge in unemployment, while still paying their shareholders dividends for four successive quarters.

Comment: Its annual stress test comes as European and US banks participate in cyberwar games.

The US central bank announced the parameters of the tests on Thursday, revealing that the 34 banks being tested must endure a "hypothetical recession" that focuses stress on commercial real estate and corporate debt markets.

This year's stress test will feature a six-point surge in unemployment to 10% paired with a 40% collapse in commercial real-estate and other asset prices, along with growing corporate bond spreads. Banks will be graded based on their ability to weather the simulated recession while still making four quarters of planned shareholder dividends. Those who fall short are supposed to be saddled with restrictions on dividends and buybacks until they amass the necessary capital needed to pass.

Comment: It doesn't take an economist to see that the world's financial systems are vulnerable due to overwhelming corruption, and the Build Back Better brigade have made it quite clear that they intend to use the next financial crisis to implement their nefarious Great Reset: Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: As Freedom Convoy Goes Global, Empire Contrives War With Russia

Bill Maher torches Justin Trudeau for attacks on truckers: 'Now you do sound like Hitler'

HBO host Bill Maher tore into Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Friday over remarks that Trudeau has made in recent days about trucker protests that have been taking place in his country.

Maher's criticism of Trudeau comes after Trudeau has called the truckers that are protesting a "fringe minority" that holds "unacceptable views."

"Justin Trudeau, I mean I thought he was kind of a cool guy, then I started to read what he said," Maher said. "This is a couple of weeks ago, he was, or maybe this is September, but he was talking about people who are not vaccinated. He said they don't believe in science. They're often misogynistic, often racist."

"No, they're not," Maher said, "he said, but they take up space. And with that, we have to make a choice in terms of the leader as a country, do we tolerate these people?"

"It's like, tolerate them?" Maher added. "Now you do sound like Hitler. And recently, he talked about them holding unacceptable views."

The 'Freedom Convoy' multi-city protest is into its 4th week in Canada, where the Canadian prime minister has come out of hiding to direct security forces to make arrests of, and issue fines to, anyone participating in, or supporting, the truckers and other workers demanding an end to 'vaccine apartheid'. Canadians' courage to stand up to tyrannical government is apparently contagious - it has sparked similar movements in Australia and New Zealand. Meanwhile, governments in Europe are not taking any chances, banning mere expressions of protest such as the displaying of national flags in vehicles.

This week's NewsReal covers the latest developments in global resistance to tyranny, and the apparent response to this by the 'deep state' in the form of war hysteria over the Russian military build-up near Ukraine. In just 4 days, British media claims, the world will end in nuclear conflagration! This is of course pure fear-mongering, in part to 'get the plebs back into line', but is there any substantive possibility of 'imminent' Russian military action in Ukraine? Joe and Niall suggest a scenario that involves a reckoning for the US client regime in Kiev, but not the subsequent reckoning for Russia that Washington and London are hoping for...

Mueller declined to charge Donald Trump Jr. and Roger Stone with computer crimes

Comment: Behold the hype and puffery BuzzFeed is famous for.

The Department of Justice released a new version of the Mueller report Friday afternoon that reveals for the first time that former special counsel Robert Mueller considered charging Donald Trump Jr. with a misdemeanor "computer intrusion" crime for accessing an anti-Trump website using a password he obtained from WikiLeaks.

The new version of the report on Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election also said that Mueller declined, citing insufficient evidence, to charge the political operative Roger Stone with crimes related to the hacking of Democratic National Committee computers and email accounts. And the report "did not establish" that the Trump campaign's then-director of national security, JD Gordon, was acting as an agent of Russia when he arranged for changes to the Republican platform during the 2016 convention.

The mainstream media is, without exception, repeating the unevidenced claim from the Biden administration that Russia is about to invade Ukraine. They do this with no proper journalistic questioning or scepticism. They do this despite the fact that, in the last month, not only have we had repeated cries that invasion is "imminent", we have had specific secret intelligence sourced claims from the Americans, that a Russian staged false flag attack was about to happen, and from the British, that there was about to be a coup in Kiev led by very minor figures. Both claims turned out to be nonsense.

Perhaps more pertinently, the media do this as though the invasion of Iraq had never happened and they had never before been misled by US and UK governments, citing intelligence sources.

Last night I watched the Press Review of today's papers on both Sky and BBC News. They showed all of today's front pages, all of which repeated, without qualification, the warning that Russia will invade in the next few days. The discussion, like the news output all day, took the accuracy of this as certain.
