In March, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) presented the coronavirus to the Western world as a danger equivalent to the plague. But China's experience, which its government obfuscated, had already shown that COVID-19 was much less like the plague and more like the flu. All that has happened since followed from falsifying this basic truth.
Americans were led to believe that the virus was unusually contagious, and that it would kill up to one in 20 persons it infected — a 5 percent infection/fatality rate (IFR). Today, we still lack definitive, direct knowledge of COVID-19's true lethality. The absence of that knowledge allows bureaucrats to continue fearmongering.
By May, a host of studies in the U.S. and around the world showing that the vast majority of COVID cases cause mild symptoms or none, and showing the IFR to be equal to or lower than that for most flus, forced the CDC to conclude that the lethality rate, far from being 5 percent, was 0.26%--double that of a typical flu. Instead of amending their recommendations in the face of this reality, the CDC and the U.S. government tried to hide it by manipulating the definition and number of COVID "cases."
Federal officials defined "cases" as people sick enough to be hospitalized who also tested positive for the virus — this represented the "curve" that we were urged to sacrifice so much to "flatten," lest a wave of hospitalizations overwhelm our health-care system. That wave never came. The CDC and feds began labeling mere infections as "cases" and stopped reporting "cases" together with the number of deaths. They did this to frighten the inattentive public about "spiking COVID cases." They also inflated the number of deaths attributed to COVID by including illnesses such as pneumonia and influenza and others into the death figures.
In reality, those who died with or of COVID-19 nearly always suffered from other diseases as well, such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and compromised lungs, in addition to being elderly and infirm. COVID-19's effect on ordinary healthy persons is considerably milder than those of ordinary respiratory diseases.
COVID-19 is not America's plague. There was never the slightest evidence that the virus could produce mass casualties; all evidence pointed in the opposite direction. Instead, the ruling class took this opportunity to extort the general public's compliance with its agendas. Their claim to speak on behalf of "science" is an attempt to avoid being held accountable for the enormous harm that they are doing. They continue doing it because they want to hold on to the power the panic has brought them.
In sum, the lockdowns have been inflicted and perpetuated by people who care more about your subjugation than your health. They want to wreck the U.S. economy and increase the Democratic Party's chances in the 2020 election. And they might succeed.
The 2016 election raised the possibility that the presidency's enormous powers might be used to dismantle the ruling class's network of prestige and privileges. In response, elites launched what has amounted to a "full court press" against the Trump administration, treating anything and everything about the administration as illegitimate. Despite their best efforts, the U.S. economy boomed. Trump's approval ratings rose. As 2020 dawned and Trump seemed a cinch for reelection, the political left and its allies grasped for ways of damaging him.
COVID-19 was the perfect chance to produce, stoke, and maintain fear in pursuit of power. In short, the ruling class used the coronavirus to collapse American life. We are living through a coup d'état based on the oldest of ploys: declaring emergencies, suspending law and rights, and issuing arbitrary rules of behavior to excuse taking "full powers."
Truth and clarity about the 2020 COVID coup are necessary for the United States to overcome its effects. Americans are anxious for truth about what happened — and what is still happening. The lies upon which this scam has been based are so substantively thin, and the resources for establishing the truth so abundant, that a few courageous leaders in key places may suffice.
For example, nothing is stopping the Senate from functioning as a truth commission regarding the COVID coup. Since the virus scam is based on lies and misrepresentations by persons of considerable power and prestige, expert questioning under oath before television cameras can let Americans judge for themselves why "medical experts" stigmatized those going to the beach and church — while not objecting, later, to the even greater numbers of Americans rioting in the streets.
State governors, as well, can provide practical leadership to motivate, guide, and legitimize life independent of our dysfunctional ruling class. Several U.S. states never shut down, while others reduced activities far less than the likes of California and New York. Like Sweden's government, these states' officials didn't believe that COVID-19 was the plague and saw individual responsibility as the surest guarantee of safety for all. Indeed, the public would benefit from seeing these states' governors defend their widely different perspectives on the COVID pandemic — and the results of their policies and decisions.
An honest reckoning, if we can get one, will reveal that the COVID-19 experience in America has only tangentially been about health. It has been, predominantly, a political campaign based on the pretense of health but dedicated to the maintenance of elite control — and it has done far more damage and caused more misery than the coronavirus itself.

The showrunners of the Great Cornholio production immediately followed their announcement of a plague pandemic with the announcement that a vaccine is on the way. The trouble with their plot device is that a vaccine has never stopped any epidemic. Vaccines always appear after the plague has receded.
Since the current pandemic story is false, it follows that the vaccine-as-savior plot device is every bit as contrived as the central storyline. Having a compliant news media structure in place makes it easy for the hoax pushers to influence the thinking of millions of people. It helps to be cognizant of a saying in the south:
"When everybody's telling the same tale, it's bound to be a lie".
Partisan politics offers no solution whatsoever. It's a massive distraction. This is crap. Utter crap.
If that's the case, it's one big production, with everyone down to the reporter on the street in on it. Don't think for a second that hasn't crossed my mind on more than one occasion., especially seeing picks of them at their kid's weddings. But that's DC politics where they all rub elbows, but oppose each other on policies. Trump at the time was not a politician, but a businessman who has to mingle because it's the nature of the real estate business. I'm certainly not going to vote for the lil girl hair sniffer who thinks he's in Detroit when he's in Chicago, And his vp pick is one hell of a condescending biatch. It is what it is and Trump is has been a target from day one with multiple attempts at a coup, and i don't think that's hollywood.
Hope is eternal... ( or something like that )
Thanks.

EVERYTHING in our modern world has a hidden agenda, usually targeted to the 20 to 40 as we 50 and over have been slapped, punched, kicked and knocked flat so many times we finally got the message; democracy is a mirage, capitalism aids the elite, and our children are the way the state garners elderly assets.
But that does mean it always has to be that way. Clearly, and this is so obvious to so many, humanity is going the wrong way. Normally, when people realise they are going the wrong way, they turn round and go back to pick up the right path.
In other words: if true, how is it that we are where we are ?
Without such narratives becoming an option by being created by those with awareness, we will never get to experience them.
Menschen sind faul. (rotted)
We ve been going the wrong way for too long. Now we have been sent to our rooms to reflect AND CHANGE our habitual running circles of staying on the wrong way. We are forced to walk around with stupid irrelevant masks because that is our MIRROR... almost all over the Mother Planet. SOOOO STUPID!!
We must BE THE LOVE WAY. (IN our own bodies first.) Bodies never lie... only our mouthpieces lie.
People enjoy varying degrees of drama in their lives. Without some modicum of drama (eg a celebration, a gossip, a person to loathe, a person to love) our lives would feel meaningless. Many are happy to watch most of the drama unfold, as though watching a movie but movies can be exceptionally moving.
Which brings me back to my original question:
We are where we are because of past stories that have been created. IMHO, of course.
When I meditate sometimes it feels as though I can hear people submitting story-lines into the ethereal basket. The basket contains all the remaining created narratives.
In every moment WE CREATE. Our physical body is the magnet. Our monkey minds n emotional drama or not create the body.... the masked.

This series will focus attention on, and concisely lay out, well-sourced information on the following highly controversial, yet absolutely critical points, which -- for our families’ sake -- need to be urgently understood:
#1) The coronavirus is being exploited to implement a tyrannically oppressive economic, “health” and surveillance system, which amounts to the evolution of technocratic fascist control.
#2) Leaders of the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health (NIH), White House COVID Task Force, various pharmaceutical companies, DARPA, NSCAI, various elements within the surveillance state, and the Gates Foundation are perpetrating Crimes Against Humanity. In coordinated partnership with those organizations, mainstream media companies, large social media companies and Google, have, at the very least, clearly demonstrated “willfull blindness” and criminal-negligence, and thereby are complicit in Crimes Against Humanity for propagating unscientific messaging under the guise of “science,” while censoring life-saving information on several effective COVID treatments, which has and continues to result in the unnecessary deaths of thousands of people.
#3) The total number of COVID-related deaths is significantly exaggerated. Hospitals have been financially incentivized to report as many COVID deaths as possible, and to put patients on ventilators, which, in many cases, is killing them. Meanwhile, due to corruption-driven policies, many needed surgeries and medical procedures have been delayed causing significant unnecessary suffering for tens of thousands of people.
#4) The collateral damage due to the deliberately exaggerated virus response has led to many more “deaths of despair” than actual COVID-related deaths, with skyrocketing increases in the rates of debt, impoverishment, hunger, depression, anxiety, drug abuse, overdose and suicide. Meanwhile, there has been an unprecedented wealth gain and consolidation within the economic top 0.1%, primarily driven by the CARES Act and Federal Reserve operations.
#5) PCR COVID tests amount to scientific fraud and have produced a statistically significant percentage of false positives, which serves as a pivotal strategic false metric driving lockdown policies and fear-driven propaganda.
#6) The mass “vaccination” program is extremely dangerous and an unprecedented threat to the health of the entire global population. The overwhelming majority of vaccines are not properly tested and it has been proven that they generally cause significantly more harm than the diseases that are supposedly protecting us from. To think that we are going to get a quick and safe vaccine to cure COVID is obscenely reckless and unscientific.
Big Pharma companies -- such as Pfizer, Merck, Glaxo Smith and Sanofi -- are drug and “vaccine” profiteers who have funded propaganda campaigns, specifically on television news programs and social media, while also funding astroturf / fake science and physician training programs, to give people a dangerously false impression as to the safety and efficacy of their products.
In addition, Big Pharma spends twice as much money lobbying and funding politicians than any other industry. These corrupt activities have given them legal immunity and indemnification protections against tens of millions of people who have been seriously injured by their products.
In fact, these companies have made hundreds of billions of dollars prescribing drugs to treat diseases, which they know their “vaccines” cause. This amounts to a criminal profiteering racket that must be held accountable and prosecuted for Crimes Against Humanity. David DeGraw [Link]

I am reminded of a visit to the CBC website for BC yesterday, they are reporting a rise in cases, seems to me this may bode for another round of restrictions, called the "Second Wave". At this time using the blame game of the younger generations, that like to do what most young people do. Go out about, mix and exchange ideas and thoughts.
One astute and insightful poster, made this comment which stood out among all the high fivers. I paraphrase, very loosely.
Dr. Common sense, after reading thousands of articles, listening to hundreds of experts, Dr. Common Sense reached the conclusion, that the source of COVID originated in the testing centers, dotted throughout the West and beyond. Some words I have added, because, I can't remember the exact words of the post.
ROFL
And this is why they are calling this the so called "Second Wave". Life going on as normal, That is not the message, we are now living in a "new Normal" and that can be changed day by day, dependent on the MSM rebranded (1984) The Ministry of Truth
Needless to say, the article has been reformatted, with the offending comment removed today.

I did not want to see more covid stats (let alone dive deeper) but this was so different. Based on Ireland this woman Delores Cavil (not sure about surname) has done a lot of work on analysing all sorts of stats and is now asking questions like:
Who called this a pandemic and why?
Even with the inflated figures Covid 19 is not fatal now.
What governments are responsible for the harm caused?
How the measures taken are doing more harm?
How this is unconstitutional due to our unalienable rights?
She is working with doctors and lawyers in several countries to look at culpability.
Proposing a new independent world health organisation that is qualified to call a pandemic.
God bless this woman and others who are seeking a way forward. A must watch one hour.
John: You've been talking about this situation, do you have any sort of a take as to what might be helpful: [Link] I have a few notions like nattokinase against blood clots and colloidal copper against lingering viral detritus, large Vit C for mop up, Vit D levels re-upped (most, as you know, are deficient), Zn, Mg and, perhaps oddly, colloidal platinum for its 'catalytic' activity. Frank Key at Purest Colloids reports years of good success with cancer treatment but -only- with people who haven't started chemo or other destructive treatments. MesoCopper - [Link] MesoCopper is an all natural mineral supplement in the form of a copper colloid consisting of nanometer particles of 0.9999 pure copper suspended in pure deionized water. Purest Colloids, Inc. is the exclusive worldwide producer of MesoCopper. Copper is an essential trace element for humans and animals. Although Hippocrates is said to have recommended copper compounds as early as 400 B.C., scientists are still uncovering new information regarding the functions of copper in the human body. Copper is an essential trace mineral that facilitates the activity of several enzymes. The mineral provides a role in the development and maintenance of the cardiovascular system, including the heart, arteries, and other blood vessels, the skeletal system, and the structure and function of the nervous system, including the brain. Copper is a critical functional component of a number of essential enzymes, known as cuproenzymes. The copper-dependent enzyme, cytochrome c oxidase, plays a critical role in cellular energy production. Another cuproenzyme, lysyl oxidase, is required for the cross-linking of collagen and elastin, which are essential for the formation of strong and flexible connective tissue. The action of lysyl oxidase helps maintain the integrity of connective tissue in the heart and blood vessels and plays a role in bone formation. A number of reactions essential to normal function of the brain and nervous system are catalyzed by cuproenzymes. Copper is involved in respiration and the synthesis of hemoglobin. It is essential in the production of collagen and the neurotransmitter noradrenalin. It is an important blood antioxidant and prevents the rancidity of polyunsaturated fats. Copper is involved in numerous enzyme systems that break down or build up body tissues. It plays a role in the production of the skin pigment melanin by converting the amino acid tyrosine. The mineral is essential for the synthesis of phospholipids, which are a component of the myelin sheath that surrounds nerves. Copper works with iron in the development and maintenance of red blood cells and their protein hemoglobin. MesoZinc - [Link] Zinc is an antioxidant nutrient which aids in protein synthesis and wound healing. It is vital for the development of the reproductive organs. Zinc supports healthy prostate functions and male hormone activity. It governs the contractility of muscles which is important for blood stability. Zinc maintains the body's alkaline balance and helps in normal tissue function and aids in the digestion and metabolism of phosphorus. Zinc is a mineral that is essential to the synthesis of DNA and RNA, of proteins, insulin and sperm. The body needs zinc to metabolize carbohydrates, protein, fat and alcohol and to dispose of carbon dioxide and make good use of vitamin A. More than seventy different enzymes require zinc to perform their function. MesoPlatinum - [Link] Platinum is reported to promote healthy tissue regeneration. It is believed to increase the electrical transmission across the synapses within the brain to promote general tissue regeneration of the neurological tissues. Colloids represent possibly the most bioavailable forms of trace minerals and are universally non-toxic and non-accumulative. Mg - Epsom salts in a bath is good, simple, feels good, is commonly available and a great de-stressor. Best, BP

We had several 4 x4 adventures up through ArnhemLand to Smiths Point where you camp very close to crocs. You see them on the beach and crossing tracks. It is permit parking with a limit of about 20 vehicles at a time. What a privilege.
I also went on a school camp with my youngest son (because they needed a mum to prepare the meals). It was next to a very large river crossing (the South Alligator). We walked down to the river at night with torches to shine and spot the crocodiles (their eyes are red at night). Crazy.
It was also a privilege to visit a property with a group of traditional owners. They showed us how they killed prepped and cooked wallaby large birds and long neck turtle. It was all a bit traumatic for 10 year olds who thought lamb chops come from the supermarket in a wrapped container.
When the food was cooked the eldest male was in charge of cutting and passing around the food. I was grateful to spend this time with these people.

Just who are the lawless, anyway? Broadly speaking, they are those who do not have at heart the best interests of all, i.e., psychopaths. That personality type seems to predominate among those who seek government office. So what we have is a classic Greek Promise: psychopaths are put in government office to protect regular citizens from...psychopaths!
I first thought this during my college days when, in Anthropology 101, I studied a tribe in Africa that gave Europeans fits because they had no leader and no social hierarchy. The closest thing they had was one tribal member who functioned as more of an arbitrator than a leader. He did not campaign for this office, but the rest of the tribe came to him for this service because of his personality and intelligence. In all other respects, his life was the same as any other member of the tribe - no fancy house, no extra goods, no payment or added social standing. When a dispute arose, if it could not be solved by the parties concerned, they appealed to his judgement because from youth it had been noted that he was able to see all sides and help the parties reach an amicable agreement. There was nothing formal about what he did. The tribe had apparently lived this way for generations, simply gravitating towards whoever - man or woman - could help hotheads see reason in the most effective way. I wish I could remember the name of the tribe.

Aka ALL talk NO Walk
I would have to both agree and disagree with this statement of yours. While I agree that the system we have (loosely defined here as our government and Western culture) did not drop out of the sky, I do not think it was consciously created by all of us or the generations before us, and nor has it grown organically to meet the needs of the majority of people. It is "our" system only in the sense that until we create a better system, we are forced to endure it. If you read widely enough, there is ample evidence to be found for covert manipulation of public thought and outright mind control for the purpose of subverting and directing changes to the system that benefit only a select few. Efforts along these lines span centuries, if not millennia. We appear to be born into this world as a commodity, with basically the same mentality as those tribesmen. Once we are here, the system set up long ago exploits us for the gain of societal parasites, unless we get wise to the game. Even then, the system has been refined in such a sophisticated manner that attempts to escape bring you to the realization that the system is a very strong net.
However, all is not lost as long as human beings remember we have free will and creativity. At any time, we can say No and try to create a better system of living.
By the time the mess we're in runs it's course and clears up, you and I will be gone and the most pressing issue will be basic survival. At that point anarchy will rule the day and the people then will play by the ruler ways just to have some kind of stability at last and that same wheel will have been set in motion. Individually people are generally good, as a group it becomes another matter. Personnal interests and so on. A topic better discussed in person, slowly, taking time to think while staring at the stars instead of correcting misspellings.
I guess you might say I have an Utopian take on how societies could work. I am a socialist at heart but nothing to do with communism and my brand of socialism does not even conform to the dictionnary definition. It'd be a waste of time to define it here because it it so simplistic I'd be laughed out of this site no matter how enlightened - for the most part - this crowd is. I could describe it in a few lines...

It has to be a group effort and this group here can understand that in spite of personnal differences but not so much with the other 2. Please do not ask why not. It is self explanatory in the few words I used.
Profiteering went rampant here in the UK during lockdown.
Agreed. Without trampling on other people's free will, the best we can hope for is that momentum and new ideas will build naturally. If coercion is applied, any new system will be no better than the current one, in fact, it will be the old one, wearing new clothes, as history shows us time and again.
This doesn't sound like a recipe for success, but if everyone gets there on their own, however long that takes, the end result will be much stronger.
You've hit the nail on the head! Not consciously thinking about what each of us is doing is how we got into this mess and why it is now so difficult to get out of.
Social engineering has been practiced for centuries.
I spent the last few hours doing little house chores, supper and thinking Do I dare. So I do. That'll teach me to be more careful about what I write.
First of all I don't have the first clue as to how to get it started and it cannot be done due to a serious snag; it'd necessarily have to be planet wide to work and the cultural and mostly religious differences get in the way big time in the justice department, mostly regarding the treatment of women.
So remembering the use of money has been eliminated...
1- Every able body works 2 or 3 days a week. Farming, services, industries, stores etc. Lots of free time for anything you like, travel the planet, learn to play a music instrument, study quantum physics, gardening, anything. There are enough people to do it.
2- Everything free, obviously. Input needed as to how to deal with abusers and hoarders. No thrill for thieves here...
3- Education rolled back to a time where students actually learned something. Manipulated history erased to be replaced with real history as it is rediscovered, no ifs and buts. 2+2=4 and so on. Completion of grade 12 encouraged and the slower ones can easily fit in just about anywhere in the work place.
4- The end of trying to keep people alive at all costs at the end of their time no matter the age. To be refined, for example, a hopeless case is to be let go unless a person wants to be experimented on, it's their call. Seemingly cold but sensible.
5- A way needs to be found to slow population growth.
6- Everything built to last. Everything repaired as much as possible. The end of use and throw away.
7- Meaningful recycling locally.
8- A justice system worthy of the name with considerations to the introduction.
Items to be debated, I never made it there yet; Transportation and plastics for example.
There. I had to complete my original idea which was just an outline, a few lines, as a said in the comment that cornered me. I'll be called a fool before being called a coward...
As a starting point I would suggest a framework of ethics as a guide to all preferred solutions - like:
Must be good for everyone and all living creatures and the environment
Must be best use of resources including time and energy
Must be aligned with truth and loving intentions
Must be life enhancing
Must honour people’s free will and desires and more.
The guidelines are pretty simple, the welfare of all including the planet. I am not a scholar so I bypassed the obvious without even thinking of it. You pointed out something I overlooked and that is how the ball gets rolling.
Again this was done because I cornered myself and for no other reason. I did not mean this thing to be by the book.
Paused for thought. 😀
I once proposed a credit system based on an initial assumed value of teeth. We all have the same quantity. Thereafter, their credit value could be cashed in when they fall out. The better the quality the higher the credit. Teeth have a bizarre habit of falling out just when you need capital.
No ridicule...,
Good night.

No, we're in them now and up to our necks . . and very few get it.
Here's a comment I just left at this
SOTT Focus:Objective:Health - Mass Hypnotic Entrancement and Torture in the Covid Lockdown
The response to the Covid 'pandemic' is quite perplexing to many of us living through it. Anyone paying a reasonable amount of attention knows that the measures put in place on the population are...TsidkenuI just pulled down all of this and will go thru it, tidy as required to get clean, printable copy and up' to my site a time permits.I said yesterday that we are at WAR and that , almost no one can begin to conceive because, "Well, stupid , where are the guns and bombs and Nazis?" and the very notion that this is a 10,000 year mind/soul war whose end game is, through many, many warfare seasons, a planet populated by, and producing soulless meatsacks purposed to takeover by 4D STS: a planet-wide meat ranch in other words; one rather similar to the way we breed livestock.
No one listens . . .
The landscape is about to clear.
Be well, friend. - LG.
The key thing that a government should never forget is that everyone has the right to be left alone. Of course, that's the first things that society/government likes to foist upon everyone.
Never been a place that properly appreciated iconoclasts. Sad, that. (Nor critics, sceptics, questioners, heretics, nonconformists, dissidents, dissenters, dissentients, malcontents, rebels, subversives, renegades, mutineers, mavericks, originals, innovators.)

I am glad we did it last year, because the masters have decided that singing is a dangerous pastime in 2020.
"I'm 67 years old. The year I graduated from high school (1971), the sun set on the last vestiges of a real economy in this country. Since then, the abstracted and corrupt system that grew up in its place has metastasized like a cancer to mechanize and dehumanize every aspect of human life. To this day, almost 50 years later, I have not seen ANYTHING that productively 'sheds light on the faults of our current system' in order to enlighten the public mind about what we are now facing, let alone what to do about it. The ponzi schemes that now milk social life for profit are very near to being incomprehensible in human terms. I see bewilderment. I see anguish. I see fear. I see inchoate anger. I see every possible emotional reaction, but no understanding. People don't, for the most part, even expect to understand. The steps that might lead to understanding are far too deeply buried beneath the avalanche of clever techniques for distraction, obfuscation, and manipulation for comprehension to even seem possible."
Well, this is not a phenomenon that is 50 years old, or 500, or 5,000. It goes back to before we climbed down from the trees and ventured out on two legs into the savannah. What we are suffering now has been suffered by countless billions of human beings going back to before we were human beings. For that insight we present-day humans have to thank Jane Goodall, who studied chimpanzees so brilliantly for several decades. She found that everything Isjarvi describes is experienced by tribes of chimpanzees also. (Read his comment again.) And it will probably continue for tens of thousands of years into the future. Evolution happens very slowly, and we are not going to change in a hundred years or five hundred.
All we can change is ourselves. Even if we manage to change a few other people, those who are unchanged will come along and destroy our achievements. Inevitable. Read history. Jesus, if He existed, preached a marvelous philosophy 2,000 years ago. Nobody could have done better. He was SO good at it, so persuasive, , people believed He was God. Look around you. How's it going, after 2,000 years?
By the way, Isjarvi, I'm 74. I've been pondering these things for a very, very long time, (at least in terms of a human lifetime, which is a blink of an eye.) When you reach 74, or 90, God bless you, you will see that nothing changes. Except you. You will change, and become better.
We certainly can't change anyone else. At the most, we can be an example or catalyst for change, if a person is on the threshold of it. And consciousness isn't a 'pull yourself up by your bootstraps' experience. The motivation for a change in consciousness either exists or it doesn't when the time is or isn't ripe. A whole complex of inner-to-outer factors is involved in reaching an 'aha!' moment of conscious understanding. In our current circumstances (yes, unprecedented - when in the past have such challenges been planet-wide?) most people won't gain even a glimmer of conscious understanding. They are swept along in the process on a purely experiential level, though at a deep inner level, they participated in creating the circumstances they are experiencing.
There is no doubt that Jesus existed, and that we are participants in his crucifixion on a daily basis. Jesus existed, but Christianity is struggling to be born - a profound example of how the event presages and sets up the conditions for change in consciousness.
It is not true that nothing changes, your and my anguish over the apparent glacial nature of the process notwithstanding! All we are affirming with our gnashing of teeth is the inability of conscious human understanding to comprehend the purpose in it all.
Round and round we go. Apparently.
This makes me question: what is it that the Creator wants us to learn? My guess is that God is providIng us with the education to create our own Matrix and not cause harm to this template.
Which is likely the purpose of 'misery' and the reason it keeps being created on Earth over and over again - to give more and more people a chance to grow and to deepen the lessons of those who have begun the process.
if only is REAL... ?????
However, I would argue that it is us who want to learn. But that is because I do not think human beings are so separate from the universe/creator as we think.
So... what is the lesson? Btw.. you are a NATURAL of it

1) Attachment. What are the advantages and disadvantages of being emotionally attached to ourselves, other people, animals, material things, ideas, and routines? In "The Active Side of Infinity", Carlos Castaneda (through Don Juan) talks about the impeccability of warriors being ready for things they did not plan on and were not expecting. This sounds like a paradox, but it is possible in a state of complete non-attachment. On the other hand, you might say, how do you learn love if you don't become attached to anyone or anything? That brings me to the next lesson group:
2) Love. What is love really? Is it possession? Is it a melting, gushing feeling in your heart when you look at your husband or little dog? Is it "always wanting the best for someone else"...and how do you know what is 'best' for them? Is it forcing others to do what you think is right? Is it 'saving' someone from their own folly? Or, could love be knowledge? Could it be knowing your place in the universe, fulfilling your own role, and allowing others to fulfill theirs? Could it be seeing every person, animal, planet, etc., as being part of an enormous, intricate whole that includes yourself? Perhaps love is really Flow: allowing the universe to unfold as it wishes, and enjoying and being part of the process.
3) Free Will. I don't see good and evil as the great struggle of mankind. I've lived long enough to see good come of evil and vice versa. However, I do see loss of free will as a bottleneck in the flow of the universe. But then, how do you know to value free will if you never lose it? In this world, it is difficult to know whether mankind can really exercise free will. With all the mind manipulation technologies in play, it is hard to know whether we are following our own dictates or someone else's. And then there are those who do not see that free will is inherently theirs, or are too lazy or fearful to exercise it. What if you give up your free will? Can you ever get it back?
4) Knowledge. This is the biggie. If it were not so important, truth would not be obfuscated at every turn. Without it, learning lessons in other areas becomes more difficult. and free will is curtailed. But how do you know that what you've learned is true? Some people think we are born with something like a 'Truth-O-Meter', that you know the truth because it 'sings'. Is intuition real, or is it just emotion that can be manipulated? What if you reorder your life because you believe a lie? You might gain knowledge if you wake up one day and decide there are problems with living that way...or you may never get that idea. And how do you get knowledge? Is it through reading someone else's ideas or conclusions drawn from studies/experiments they have done? What if the initial source was wrong, or they are reporting a study/experiment the outcome of which was influenced by the observer (in a quantum physics fashion) or paid for by a corporation with an agenda?
If you've made it to this point in this very long post, good on ya (as they say in NZ and Aussie). Obviously this is not everything we could learn from this life, and these are only my ideas of general, over-arching concepts that contain many sub-lessons.
Love.
Remember. Be. Experience.
1. Attachment. I noticed that I only loved those I was attached to in some way. Then I realised that God loves us all equally and I think that is what He wants me to learn to do. Love for the stranger I cannot even see - that is the goal.
2. Love. In addition, I have Learned that it is my own blocks that prevent me from loving. So the goal is to remove my blocks so love can flow freely.
3. Free will. God’s first gift to man. I learnt that God honours my freewill above all else. Again I learnt that is what He wants me to do: honour others freewill too. Again I have blocks: my need to control, my feelings that I know what is best, my expectations, etc.
4. Knowledge or truth. Truth I think is the biggy. Truth precedes knowledge. I believe we do have a conscience and God is always sending us the truth. But like freewill we have to develop that ability to ask for and recognise truth.
Truth also precedes love. Without truth there can be no love. I find that principle helps in the reverse: if I am judging something or someone, I am not seeing the truth as God sees it.
Just my reflections at this point in time.
I see you picked up on my dilemma about whether the lesson was truth or knowledge. Is truth a subset of knowledge, or is knowledge a subset of truth? I have a long way to go in this area, but at the moment, I'm leaning toward truth being a subset of knowledge, because if you don't know what the lies are, how can you know what the truth is?
With regard to your penultimate paragraph, it is very interesting how all these concepts interrelate.
Whilst I agree truth is a subset of knowledge, I feel it is far more important. Truth is right up there with love, like Siamese twins. I am not driven to seek knowledge (although much of the world values knowledge) I am driven to find truth, God’s truth. Nice sharing with you.
Truth is Knowledge is Love
Data on the other hand... is the other 'twin'
As it is said, takes 2 2 tango
The opportunity exists for each of us is to see how un-Christian I am. How have I contributed to this? My expectations, demands, entitlement, superiority, judgement, anger, resentment, neediness- May be?
And then it is my personal choice if I want to change, to grow in love and be more Christian, because love is all there is. By Christian I mean walk in the footsteps of JC - not in any religion. Otherwise we will continue to go round and round. Only love is the solution; that is our purpose.
All we need to do is look at the human body. THE investment is evident.
As I get older, my worldview becomes more holistic.
Yours too, I think?
No, but you're being semantically phlegmatic. Or radically hyperbolic, or...(one could go on with this until one was described as being masochistIC, but I shan't.)
