Adapt 2030 Ice Age Report: Manam eruption anomalies and massive wheat declines globally

volcano
Manam Volcano in Papua New Guinea erupted with ash plume to 50,000 feet, but so many anomalies with the eruption footage, day after helicopter views of clear peak and non ash covered trees next to the crater begs the question "What really happened?".

Wheat globally at 2007 levels and forecast to drop lower causing nations to ceae exports, which will create shortages and civil unrest as we saw in 2007-2008 through Africa and Middle East.

Its going to be a wild ride as dozens of locations with summer August snow this week.

Global cooling: August snow falling at Glacier National Park, Montana

While the Howe Ridge fire keeps burning on the west side of Glacier National Park near Lake McDonald, Mother Nature is busy adding some touches of white elsewhere.

The view from the Park's Logan Pass webcam on Monday morning shows snow falling -- and even sticking in some places -- in the higher elevations.

StormTracker meteorologist Lewis Dortch says snow levels will drop to around 6,000 feet in Glacier National Park -- as well as in the nearby Flathead National Forest.

The National Weather Service office in Missoula has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for elevations above 6,000 feet in Glacier National Park as well as for the Whitefish and Flathead Mountain ranges in Northwest Montana.

Areas above 7,000 feet could see around 1"-to-3" of snow with locally heavier amounts possible.

Global cooling: August snowfall for Canmore, Banff and other Alberta mountain communities

In some parts of Canada, the end of summer vacation is bringing some of the hottest temperatures of the year.

In other areas, it's bringing weather more typically experienced in December than during the last week of August.

Some B.C. communities saw temperatures dip near or below the freezing mark Monday morning. A temperature of -1.5 C was recorded at Burns Lake at 5 a.m. One hour later, the temperature in Prince George dipped to 0 C.

The cold snap marked Prince George's second unusual weather phenomenon in eight days, following the ash-filled skies that had shrouded the city from the sun as smoke from some of the province's hundreds of active wildfires drifted over the region.

Temperatures in the low single digits were also reported Monday in some areas around the B.C.-Alberta border.

Traffic cameras captured snow falling on Alberta's Highway 1 near the community of Canmore.

It's August and parts of Austria and Germany are covered in 40cm of snow

Stunning pictures baffle the world as Austrian mountains covered in up to 40cm of snow

We're in August and people across the EU should be enjoying summer's sweltering temperatures.

But baffling images show Germany and Austria covered in SNOW as temperatures dropped up to 15 degrees from one day to another.

The pictures shows different mountainous areas in the two bordering countries turning into a very early winter wonderland.

Of the two, Austria was most hit with up a downfall over the weekend that left it with up to 40cm of snow.

The city of Salzburg, according to WetterOnline , saw the heaviest downfall. But areas at less than 1000 metres of altitude were also covered in snow.

The ski town of Bad Gastein, for example, which is south of Salzburg and at 900 metres of altitude, awoke to a dreamy white landscape as it was covered in up to five centimetres of snow.

Residents of Obertauern, Rauris, Sankt Jakob in Defereggental and Hintertux on Sunday morning were welcomed with snowflakes amid zero-degree temperatures.

Global cooling: Snow in Slovenia in August

Snow closed the road to Mangart and whitened Kredarica.

Kredarica has already snow, while rain and snow mix on Vršič. According to the traffic information center (PIC), the road to Mangart is closed due to the snow covered road. Precipitation will get worse during the day

The Triglav Lodge at Kredarica, which stands at an elevation of 8,251 feet (2,515 m), is the highest mountain hut in Slovenia and the highest meteorological station in the country.

Is snow at this elevation in Slovenia unusual? I don't know. But I'm thinking that Slovenians need not worry about global warming this year.

Thanks to Primoz from Slovenia for these links.

Global cooling: Extreme snowfall in SUMMER hits the Alps with a depth of one foot

Snow
There has been heavy snowfall on higher slopes in the Alps this weekend, with Austrian glaciers appearing to get the biggest accumulations so far.

The forecast snowfall has resulted from a cold front moving across central Europe, bringing snow above 1500 metres in places.

About half a dozen glacier ski areas are currently open in Austria, Italy and Switzerland with today the last day of the summer ski season at Les 2 Alpes, the only area currently open in France.

Up to 35cm of snow was forecast to fall by Monday morning at Hintertux, which reports 30cm of fresh snow so far this morning. So it looks like a summer powder day there when the weather clears.

Arctic Northwest Passage icebound

"CCG icebreakers cannot safely escort pleasure craft." At least 22 vessels affected and several have turned back to Greenland, according to Daria Blackwell of oceancruiseclub.org.

Good morning,

Due to heavier than normal ice concentrations in the Canadian arctic waters north of 70 degrees, the Canadian Coast Guard, recommends that pleasure craft do not navigate in the Beaufort Sea, Barrow, Peel Sound, Franklin Strait and Prince Regent. CCG icebreakers cannot safely escort pleasure craft. Operators of pleasure craft considering a northwest passage should also consider the risk of having to winter in a safe haven in the Arctic, or in the case of an emergency, be evacuated from beset vessels. Safety of mariners is our primary concern.

REGARDS,

Ice age cometh
© YouTube/Adapt 2030 (screen capture)The hot summer of 1540, coined 'the Great Solar Year', was followed by a little Ice Age that started appearing in 1586.
The intensification of extreme weather globally is apparent to everyone on our planet, but what is causing it and how much more intense will it become? I have put together this video to explain the causes to give you a good idea of events to come with a timeline to 2021 so you can see how these changes will evolve and affect food prices and ultimately your life and lifestyle.

Global cooling: Snow falls on Scotland as Brits shiver in freezing -2C start to Bank Holiday

snow map
Snow shown as pink areas
Brits woke up to a bone-chilling start to the Bank Holiday this morning - with even snow falling on some parts.

Fresh flurries of the white stuff were recorded in the Scottish mountains in the early hours of this morning as temperatures plummeted.

The snowfall was the first of the summer - coming just days after Brits sizzled in the high 20s and weeks after a relentless 35C heatwave.

Temperatures nosedived to single figures across the UK overnight as freezing Arctic air swept in from Iceland.

The bitterly cold air saw rain fall as snow in some parts of northern Scotland at around 5am, including the Cairngorms National Park near Inverness where -2C was felt.

Global cooling: The first sightings of the white stuff on Snowmass Mountain, Colorado

Enough with this warm weather, already. It's time to move on to the cooler, snow-filled months so Coloradans can start hitting the slopes. Thankfully, the mountain gods have heard our calls.

Aspen Snowmass tweeted a photo of its mountain sprinkled with white flakes of snow Thursday morning. There's still a long way to go for the ski area's runs to be, well, skiable, but it's a start.
