SIDS [Sudden Infant Death Syndrome] is the term given to all of the babies who die of an unexplainable death before they turn one year old.

"70% of children who have died of SIDS received the pertussis vaccine within 3 weeks before death." Within this 3 week time period after receiving the vaccine, children's breathing patterns became stress-induced, wreaking havoc on their respiratory systems (Pages 120 and 121 of Vaccine Safety Manual For Concerned Families and Health Practitioners). This stress-induced breathing, combined with a baby sleeping face down would seem to make it even more troublesome for him/her to breathe freely. This is the very same vaccine that lists SIDS as a possible side effect. Something to think about (at the very least).

Please note, the CDC is changing their inserts over the last year, leaving out important side effects even though they are very much still side effects.

Comment: So many in the pro-vaccine camp refuse to admit any serious side effects from vaccines, stating over and over ad nauseam that vaccines are '100% safe'. A simple read of the package insert of any vaccine will quickly disabuse anyone of this preposterous notion. A blatant case of wilful ignorance, if ever there was one.

Toddlers who are glued to a screen at age three are couch potatoes by the time they are five, a study shows.

They move for 40 minutes less each day by the time they start primary school than those who had less screen time earlier in life.

Researchers say the reduced physical activity may contribute to weight gain and poor health. They ­suggest parents follow World Health Organization guidelines to limit young children's screen time to one hour a day.

Study leader Dr. Falk Muller-Riemenschneider said: "Reducing screen time in early childhood might promote healthier behaviors and associated outcomes later in life."

The findings come from a National University of Singapore study of 552 children. Their parents were questioned on how long they spent on screens aged two and three.

The Headlines read: China Quarantines a City of 11 Million Over Deadly New Virus. Little is known about the new virus, making it more challenging for authorities to figure out the appropriate action to take, experts say. Unfortunately, they will not take appropriate action because they refuse to look at the fundamental weakness of all viruses, which can be easily and cheaply exploited.

People die of viruses all the time but the death rates can be sharply reduced if we pull the rug out from under them with rapid changes in pH and with heavy dosages of iodine, selenium and magnesium chloride. Modern medicine refuses to look at these basic medicines, which are commonly used in ICU departments that save lives everyday; refuses to entertain the idea that these same medicines could be perfect medicines to both prevent and treat this new viral disease.

Authorities do not know the incubation period which makes it difficult to know how to respond. But we do know the virus spreads easily and quickly. The province of Hubei, of which Wuhan is the capital and largest city, late Wednesday reported a total 444 confirmed cases, up from 270 announced the previous day.


Comment: Since the writing of this article the number of confirmed cases is over 6,000.


The Chinese National Health Commission reported early Friday that there have been 25 deaths from and 830 cases of the coronavirus, a sharp increase. The death toll increased by more than a half-dozen in 24 hours, while the number of confirmed cases jumped by more than 200.

Comment: As the author suggests, it is far better to think of treating coronavirus (and other emerging viruses) preemptively - rather than have to rely on the medical system should this sickness spread much further.

Diabetes is on the rise, both type 1-in which the pancreas does not secrete insulin -and type 2-in which the cells' receptors for insulin don't work. Either way — and the likelihood is that most diabetics have some combination of type 1 and type 2-sugar can't get into the cells (so they starve) and sugar levels in the blood remain high.

Chronically high blood sugar levels lead to serious consequences, including kidney failure, nerve damage, difficulty healing and eye problems. Both types of diabetes result in a slow and painful death that can include dialysis, amputation and permanent blindness.

If you surf around the internet, you will find some websites giving pretty good advice on how to manage and even avoid diabetes. Besthealthyguide.com advises readers to eliminate processed and refined foods from the diet, such as flours, sugar and trans fat, and to limit consumption of grains and high-carb foods as a way of keeping blood sugar levels stable. The website notes that you can reduce your dose of drugs like metformin on this kind of diet.

Health.com warns that people with diabetes should avoid sugary drinks as much as possible. "People with diabetes should absolutely avoid sugar-sweetened beverages including soda, sports drinks, sweetened teas, and juice, unless these are using these beverages to treat a low blood sugar. . . . Carbohydrates in liquid form spike blood sugars very quickly — they are great for treating a low blood sugar, but if someone's blood sugar is normal or high, they will send their blood sugar to the next level.

CDC funded study shows the vaccinated shed 6.3 times more flu virus, just by breathing

Want to know why more people are sick this year and dying from the flu? The answer might surprise you, it's because of the flu vaccine and the most recent research from the National Academy of Sciences proves that people who are vaccinated spread the virus more, are not protected, and prior vaccination is harming people's immunity!

Does the flu vaccine protect you or those around you? Well according to the research, the opposite would be true. The findings of the study found that those individuals who had received the flu vaccine were "shedding" 6.3 times more virus than the unvaccinated!

"Self-reported vaccination for the current season was associated with a trend (P < 0.10) toward higher viral shedding in fine aerosol samples; vaccination with both the current and previous year's seasonal vaccines, however, was significantly associated with greater fine-aerosol shedding in unadjusted and adjusted models (P < 0.01). In adjusted models, we observed 6.3 (95% CI 1.9-21.5) times more aerosol shedding among cases with vaccination in the current and previous season compared with having no vaccination in those two seasons."

"The association of current and prior year vaccination with increased shedding of influenza A might lead one to speculate that certain types of prior immunity promote lung inflammation, airway closure, and aerosol generation. This first observation of the phenomenon needs confirmation. If confirmed, this observation, together with recent literature suggesting reduced protection with annual vaccination, would have implications for influenza vaccination recommendations and policies."

At the Liutianbao Pharmacy, one of the biggest dispensaries of traditional Chinese medicines in virus-stricken Wuhan, the shelves are practically bare of honeysuckle, the dried fruit of the weeping forsythia, eupatorium and patchouli.

At Changsheng Pharmacy, the shelves have been picked clean of Mongolian milkvetch and Chinese bellflower, after a run on traditional herbal remedies prompted in part by promises from local health leaders that Chinese medicine can arm people with an herbal immunity to a deadly virus that has stoked fear around the world.

"People have bought whatever can possibly be helpful for their health and safety," said Meng Juan, a worker at Changsheng Pharmacy.

Veteran Affairs tests keto diet for diabetic patients, raising ire of nay-sayers

The Department of Veterans Affairs is partnering with Virta Health, a Silicon Valley startup that claims its treatment can reverse type 2 diabetes.

A partnership between the Department of Veterans Affairs and Silicon Valley startup Virta Health Corp. is focusing attention on the company's claim that it provides treatment "clinically-proven to safely and sustainably reverse type 2 diabetes" without medication or surgery.

The assertion is at the heart of an ongoing debate about the keto diet's effect on diabetes. Some diabetes experts are skeptical of Virta's promise and are expressing concerns that the company's partnership with the federal government is giving the diet too much credence.

Comment: One would hope the department of Veteran Affairs will ignore the uninformed nay-sayers and proceed with the keto diet intervention. There is reams of evidence in favor of low-carbohydrate diets in the treatment of diabetes and even more attesting to the safety of the diet.

If you apply a chemical to a field of crops, either from a sprayer towed behind a tractor or from above, by an aerial crop duster, that is considered a pesticide.

However, if you take that same chemical and coat it on a seed, then plant that seed in the ground, it ceases to be pesticide — at least according to government regulators.

This issue of how to define a pesticide is at the center of a growing battle over a regulatory loophole that allows seeds coated with chemicals to be considered "treated articles," rather than pesticides.

The vegan diet is low in - or, in some cases, entirely devoid of - several important brain nutrients. Could these shortcomings be affecting vegan's ability to think?

It was the late 1880s in the city of Rajkot, India. The meeting was to take place on the banks of the local river - and discretion was essential. Mahatma Gandhi, who was just a teenager at the time, hadn't told his parents where he was going; if they had found out, they would have been shocked to death.

As it happens, Gandhi was having a picnic. And on this occasion, India's future national hero - and one of the most famous vegetarians in history - wasn't planning to dine on cucumber sandwiches. No, for the first time in his life, he was going to eat meat.

As he later wrote in his biography, Gandhi was raised as a strict Vaishnava Hindu, so he had never even seen meat before this fateful day. But his picnic companion was a shady character with an unusual obsession - the idea that meat held the key to being physically and mentally strong.

Comment: It's unfortunate that so many of these research feel the need to qualify their findings with 'I'm not saying people can't be healthy on a vegan diet blah, blah, blah,' despite the mounting evidence to the contrary. There is no evidence that even a supplemented vegan diet is sufficient for proper human health, so all these qualifiers really make no sense. If veganism can be healthy, find one who isn't deficient.

The coronavirus pandemic can be dramatically slowed, or stopped, with the immediate widespread use of high doses of vitamin C. Physicians have demonstrated the powerful antiviral action of vitamin C for decades. There has been a lack of media coverage of this effective and successful approach against viruses in general, and coronavirus in particular.

It is very important to maximize the body's anti-oxidative capacity and natural immunity to prevent and minimize symptoms when a virus attacks the human body. The host environment is crucial. Preventing is obviously easier than treating severe illness. But treat serious illness seriously. Do not hesitate to seek medical attention. It is not an either-or choice. Vitamin C can be used right along with medicines when they are indicated.
"I have not seen any flu yet that was not cured or markedly ameliorated by massive doses of vitamin C."

Comment: It's still unknown whether the coronavirus is yet another dud, but it certainly doesn't hurt to be prepared. Using the vitamin supplements mentioned preventively has no side effects to speak of, so following the above protocol should be something everyone is doing.
