Muhammad Rabbani was held at Heathrow after returning from the Gulf where he was investigating a torture case allegedly involving the US

The international director of Cage, Muhammad Rabbani, has been charged under the Terrorism Act after refusing to hand over passwords to his laptop at Heathrow airport.

Rabbani, who regards it as a privacy v surveillance test case, said he intended to fight the charge. "I am innocent of these charges that have serious implications for journalists, lawyers and human rights," he said.

Comment: Cage has proved to have questionable judgement in the past, supporting terrorists in Syria, and their assessment of Jihadi John. However this situation does seem to be a legitimate breach of the human rights and privacy of Mohammed Rabbani, where he was subjected to intrusive searches by the power hungry border control agents.

Jon Robberson is a 16 year veteran of Hollywood feature film, television, and commercial production. He worked behind the scenes at all of the major studios and networks, having worked on projects for such notables as Spielberg, Bruckheimer, Silver and Abrams, to name a few. He also left that scene because he says it is rife with pedophilia.

Dave Daubenmire, the host of the webcast Pass the Salt Live, interviewed Robberson this week. During the interview, the former insider spoke about an alleged global Satanic pedophile ring that controls Hollywood.

Trust us, we know how this sounds. But hear it out.

Vatican envoy sent to probe paedophilia cover-up criticises 'spiteful' children

In an interview addressing scandal in Mendoza, Father Dante Simón talks of kids who 'fall in love with a priest' and are rejected

A Vatican envoy sent to investigate a shocking paedophilia cover-up at the Antonio Próvolo Institute for deaf children in Mendoza province — where priests and employees have been accused of the systematic sexual abuse of minors over decades — has sparked outrage after describing some of the children who laid claims as "spiteful."

Father Dante Simón, one of the two envoys sent by the Vatican to probe the scandal, suggested that some accusations have been dismissed because they were invented by "spiteful" boys who had fallen in love with priests and were rejected. Despite the fact that more than 60 former students have come forward with allegations involving sexual abuse at the institute, Simón chose to highlight "dismissed" cases.

"A few (cases) have been dismissed," the priest told the Mendoza Post. "Because there are people who are spiteful. For example, a girl or a boy falls in love with a priest, and he doesn't respond back. The boy can be very spiteful like a woman can. So, they denounce him (the priest)," Simón told reporter Martín Tejerina.

A decade of militarized drug policies in Mexico has created more violence and more human rights violations

51 people die every day in Mexico's war on drugs, but neither drugs nor drug trafficking are decreasing, while human rights violations have soared.

Mexico decided over ten years ago to militarize their drug policies and rely on the armed forces to conduct counter-narcotic operations and other public safety tasks. The so-called "war on drugs" has taken since then a very real dimension in the country.

Shortly after taking power in December 2006, President Felipe Calderon ordered a military offensive against the country's drug cartels that eventually involved tens of thousands of troops undertaking tasks that should normally be performed by civilian forces. In only a matter of days, more than 30,000 soldiers were deployed in different cities around the country. This number has grown to over 96,000 soldiers carrying out public security tasks. Keeping drugs away from Mexico's children has been a central justification.

In addition, police corporations all across the country have adopted military techniques, training and equipment for the conduct of their daily activities, including counter-narcotic operations. Former or active military commanders are also in command of police corporations at different states or municipalities.

Renowned Russian humanitarian and charity activist Elizaveta Glinka, widely known as Dr. Lisa found a place in all our hearts for her humanitarian service in Ukraine and Syria. Her foundation "Fair Help" will now be called "Fair Help by Doctor Lisa" to perpetuate the name of the deceased founder.

Sputnik Arabic spoke to a board member and head of the project for aiding children of Donbass and Syria, Natalia Avilova, about how the organization has been coping with everything since Elizaveta died.

"It has been almost half a year since she passed. Of course, the most difficult time for us and for our patients was the first three months. We, the team of Doctor Lisa, did not just lose a leader, we lost a mentor, a teacher and for many of us a friend. It was a big blow for all of us and for our patients," Avilova said.

She further said that the patients did not understand how they will be helped after Dr. Lisa's death, who will help them, whether the fund will be able to carry on with its work without its founder.

The famous Russian architectural features enveloping the White House on the latest cover of Time magazine seem to have stumped CNN, which referred to the onion domes as "Russian minarets."

The cover of the new issue of Time features the White House covered in a structure which appears to be a combination of two Moscow landmarks - the Kremlin Walls and the onion domes of St. Basil's Cathedral.

UN counterterrorism chief: Wave of 'more dangerous, skilled' ISIS jihadists bound to hit Europe

ISIS in Europe

Europe will have to come to grips with an exodus of "dangerous and disillusioned" Islamic State jihadists, defeated in Syria and Iraq earlier this year and possibly seeking revenge, the head of the UN Security Council's counterterrorism agency has warned.

Scores of foreign Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) fighters, determined to come back to Europe, are "more dangerous" than previous waves of returnees, Jean-Paul Laborde told reporters on Thursday. Some may be eager to seek revenge after defeats on the battlefield, including in recent confrontations in Mosul.

The first wave of the returnees was mainly made up of young people who went to Syria and Iraq "for T-shirts and photos," Laborde said, RTBF reported. They came back "disillusioned and dismayed." The second wave may contain much more extreme individuals, who had more time to build contacts with criminal organizations that can assist them in committing attacks.

ISIS new video shows potential targets in the US

ISIS has released a new video featuring a purportedly American fighter calling for attacks in the U.S. and footage of new weapons the terrorists have built, including drones and rovers, analysts said.

Using the handle Abu Hamza al-Amriki, the bearded man appears with his face uncovered and urges lone-wolf attacks to avenge U.S. military action in slightly accented English, according to security firm Flashpoint.

It's been nearly a year since an American was featured in official ISIS propaganda. In June, a fighter using the nickname Abu Isma'il al-Amriki praised the Orlando nightclub massacre in another video. Jihadis use al-Amriki in their noms de guerre to mean "the American."

The latest video also includes photos of U.S. locations — the Las Vegas Strip, Times Square, banks in Washington — meant to represent potential targets, said Laith Alkhouri of Flashpoint.

Former White House Secret Service officer sentenced to 20 years for sexting underaged girls while on duty

A former uniformed Secret Service officer was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Thursday for sending sexually explicit photos of himself to underage girls — while he was on duty at the White House.

Lee Robert Moore, 38, of Church Hill, Maryland, pleaded guilty in March to enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity and attempting to transfer obscene materials to a minor. The Secret Service fired him after his arrest in November 2015.

At the time of his arrest, Moore was assigned to protect the White House complex, and prosecutors said he sent some of the materials while on guard duty at the White House.

Moore was nabbed in an undercover sting when he sent indecent materials, including a picture of himself, to someone he thought was a teenage girl on the mobile apps Kik and Meet24, according to the criminal complaint. The "girl" turned out to be an agent of the Delaware State Police working with the Delaware Child Predator Task Force.

Bad PR: White Helmets suspends members for getting caught on camera at rebel execution

White Helmets
White Helmets: terrorists by another name
Syria's White Helmets have suspended several members of their rescue team after stomach-churning footage emerged showing rebel militants conducting a summary execution of a man in the town of Jasim, with the White Helmets helping get rid of the body.

Graphic images released on Wednesday show blood pouring out of the execution victim's head. After the man is shot dead on camera - in front of a large crowd in the town of Jasim in Daraa, southern Syria - volunteers from the White Helmets move in to dispose of the body, AMN reported.

On Thursday, Syria's White Helmets, also known as the Syrian Civil Defense, issued a statement, acknowledging that their volunteers' actions "did not fully uphold the strict principles of neutrality and impartiality."

Comment: Rich. That should actually be the White Helmets' motto, because they're anything but neutral and impartial. In fact, they're terrorists.

"Two Civil Defense volunteers were seen to act improperly and not in accordance with the voluntary Code of Conduct for Syria Civil Defense members," the statement said, adding that the members have been suspended for three months.

"Syria Civil Defense expects each and every volunteer to perform their duties to the highest professional standard, as the individual actions of one member impact the reputation of all volunteers and the organization as a whole," the statement noted.
