Media hysteria: Man arrested in DC with pistol, ammo, 'fake pass' - turns out he was security guard just trying to get to work

CNN and others rushed to report the arrest of a man at Washington's 'checkpoint' with a pistol, 500 rounds of ammunition and a "fake" inauguration pass. The man said he was a security guard, and has been released.

"There's very disturbing breaking news here in Washington. CNN reports U.S Capitol Police arrested a Virginia man with fake inaugural credentials, a loaded gun and over 500 rounds of ammunition," CNN's Wolf Blitzer reported, saying there would be special coverage from the channel on the incident.

Comment: It's only disturbing because Blitzer is a serial bedwetter who salivates over the chance to ramp up the hysteria. If anyone is guilty of "incitement" it is media hacks like him and their atrocious behaviour for the past five years (their whole careers, really).

The fact that the man - Wesley Allen Beeler - also had pro-gun stickers on the window of his pickup truck when he was arrested on Friday in downtown Washington, apparently became a major red flag for the outlets choosing to highlight the detail.

Comment: Here's Beeler in his own words:

FBI arrests 'anarchist' said to have plotted attack on Trump gatherings in Tallahassee - fought in Syria with YPG

Daniel Alan Baker
Update: Near 7:30 p.m., Gov. Ron DeSantis by executive order activated the Florida National Guard to work with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to bolster security at the Capitol complex through Jan. 24.

Federal authorities have arrested a self-described anarchist on charges related to his alleged attempt to recruit the "like-minded" to violently disrupt the expected gathering by supporters of President Trump at the Florida Capitol through Inauguration Day.

The accused is Daniel Alan Baker, described in a 27-page criminal complaint as a former Army airborne infantryman who recently "has been posting messages and multimedia to his Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube accounts that have been increasingly ripe with extremist rhetoric."

"Baker issued a call to arms for like-minded individuals to violently confront protesters gathered at the Florida Capitol this Sunday. He specifically called for others to join him in encircling any protestors and confining them at the Capitol complex using firearms," the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Florida said in a press release.

"Extremists intent on violence from either end of the political and social spectrums must be stopped, and they will be stopped," U.S. Attorney Lawrence Keefe said in a written statement.

"Daniel Baker's actions show that he is a dangerous extremist, and the law-abiding public is safer now that he has been arrested. We are, and will remain, on high alert and will take all appropriate actions against credible threats to the people of our district," he said.

Comment: Baker was featured on VICE for his 'work' with YPG, and also participated in Seattle's CHAZ 'experiment'. Here's his 'call to arms' for January 20th:

Here's the entire criminal complaint, which includes the details that he claimed to have received "Soros money", and was offering cash rewards for information on Trump supporters.

Water cannons & mounted officers: Lockdown rally in Amsterdam met with strong police response

Amsterdam lockdown protest

Thousands of anti-lockdown protesters took to the streets of Amsterdam, decrying restrictive measures against the coronavirus. The unauthorized gathering was met with a strong riot police force.

The anti-lockdown protesters gathered in the center of the Netherlands capital on Sunday, despite failing to get authorization for the rally from the authorities.

Comment: Would permission have even been granted? The UK's police chief said himself that, in his opinion "now is really not the time" to exercise ones right to protest and freedom of speech.

The protesters, who largely lacked face masks and did not exactly observe social distancing rules, decried the restrictive coronavirus measures, carrying banners reading "Freedom: stop this siege" and chanting such slogans as "What do we want? Freedom!" While the Netherlands was initially slower than some countries to respond to the pandemic, it turned to harsher restrictions in December as Covid-19 cases mounted.

Comment: Pretty much every European country fell in line with orders, eventually.

Saudi Arabia launches plans for underground city claiming it's part of a green future

The city design was presented by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman himself, who explained why he believes that a concept of a conventional city should be transformed "into that of a futuristic one".

An ambitious urban development project involving the construction of a city with no roads where 1 million people would live has recently been unveiled by Saudi Arabia.

As per the project, known simply as The Line, the new city is going to be built along a 170-kilometer long stretch of land, resulting in the creation of what is essentially a chain of communities where residents would have easy access to the shops and services they require.

Comment: Express reports:
Some described plans for The Line as little more than an empty attempt at attracting international investment.

The Economist reporter Gregg Carlstrom tweeted: "Everything about NEOM seems like it was dreamed up by a Saudi official who watched a sci-fi movie on [the Middle East Broadcasting Center] at like 4am and said 'that looks cool, let's throw $100bn at it'."

And human rights groups agreed by pointing to perceived double standards.

Reem Abdellatif, a women's rights advocate, tweeted: "The Line is Mohammed bin Salman's desperate attempt to rebrand Saudi Arabia's failed NEOM project.

"After facing challenges from local tribes and failing to attract investments, [Mohammed bin Salman] once again uses old tricks to solve festering economic issues. Clean house first."

Despite the criticism, construction is slated to start very and is expected to contribute $48 billion (£35 billion) to the local economy as well as 38,000 jobs.

The owners of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, New Jersey had their bank account unexpectedly drained even while pursuing their legal appeals against a growing stack of fines levied by the state for alleged violation of Covid-19 rules.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy "took it upon himself to empty our bank account entirely, to the tune of $165,000," gym owner Ian Smith claimed in a Wednesday Instagram post. The confiscation took place "without warning, and without permission" despite both parties being eight months into a bitter legal battle over state Covid-19 restrictions - including a lawsuit against the governor, he added.

The gym owner accused the governor "and his cronies" of "effectively and intentionally interfering with our right to council [sic]" in a Twitter post, noting that the sum taken represented "100% of [the gym's] legal defense money."

World's largest insect farm to be built in Illinois amid signs of soaring food inflation

Black Soldier Fly Larvae

The food industry is about to take a giant leap forward towards sustainability
as a new partnership between Chicago-based food processing company Archer Daniels Midland and InnovaFeed, a French firm that makes insect protein for animal feed, are set to build the world's largest insect protein factory farm in central Illinois, according to Forbes.

ADM and InnovaFeed will grow and harvest billion and billions of insects called black soldier fly, whose larvae are scavengers and thrive on decomposing organic matter and convert it into a nutrient-rich protein that can be transformed into animal feed.

Black Soldier Fly Larvae

Once the facility is operational, both companies estimate yearly output could be around 60,000 metric tons of animal feed protein.

"I'm in awe. If they can pull this off, it will be magnificent," said Jeffrey Tomberlin, a professor and entomologist at Texas A&M University who has conducted years of research on insect protein
"This facility will be several times bigger than anything else in the world," Tomberlin said.

Comment: So the great push for humans to eat insects continues. See also: Is Insect-Eating Really the Future of Food?

One thing is for sure, insects do NOT provide the good fats and nutrients that helped individuals survive real plague by eating meat:

Alternative tech platform DLive cracks down on users amid media complaints about 'extremist' audience after Capitol storming

Capitol Building protest
© REUTERS/Leah MillisA mob of supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump attempt to use a ladder on a group of law enforcement personnel as they storm the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, U.S., January 6, 2021.
DLive, a video streaming service which became popular over the past few years as a free speech alternative to websites like YouTube and Twitch, came under fire from its users after it announced sanctions to combat extremism.

After Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol on January 6, media organizations like the New York Times, Wired, and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) took aim at DLive for hosting users who attended and supported the incident - branding the alternative tech platform an "extremist haven."

"DLive has paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars to extremists since its founding, largely through donations of cryptocurrency built into a service provided by the site," SPLC claimed, pointing out that far-right livestreamer Anthime 'Baked Alaska' Gionet - who recorded himself during the storming of the Capitol - was one such figure reportedly making thousands on the platform.

DLive responded by banning Gionet, as well as American nationalist commentator Nick Fuentes. On Friday, however, the tech platform announced it would be implementing even more restrictions on its user base.

"In response to the recent incident on Jan 6th, we have decided to implement a temporary feature to disable donations and paid subscriptions to all X-tag channels," the company declared. "We understand the inconvenience this may cause for some of you but we believe this is the necessary action to take to ensure a responsible and safe community during this challenging time."

Manufactured Terror: Notorious "Nazi" Satanic group is an illegal counter intelligence operation controlled by two career FBI informants

mass murder Satanic group the Order of Nine Angles
On January 5th, National Justice released an article regarding a leaked FBI document on the pro-mass murder Satanic group the Order of Nine Angles (O9A) hinting at a potential government scheme to undermine First Amendment protected nationalist activity.

After reviewing numerous documents and interviewing multiple sources, National Justice can now confirm that the US chapter of the O9A is a self-described psychological operation run by a South Carolina based couple who have allegedly committed criminal acts to entrap multiple political activists on behalf of the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Department of Justice over a 15 year period.

Joshua Caleb Sutter, the founder and head of O9A's American chapter the Tempel ov Blood, and his wife Jillian Hoy, who controls the Satanist book publishing company Martinet Press, have been accused of attempted murder, identity theft and using sex and blackmail to infiltrate and take control of radical political organizations on both the left and the right in hopes of getting them to commit criminal acts.

There are at least four separate instances of people being set up, going to prison or currently facing serious criminal charges due to bogus conspiracies instigated by Sutter and Hoy in their capacity as FBI sponsored informants and agent provocateurs.

Comment: So elements of the FBI almost literally create the enemy they are telling the public exists. And, of course, this tactic has, and is, being used to create legislation to crack down on "domestic terrorism" - or whoever challenges the pseudo-reality narrative created against the prevailing new "enemy" of the state.

We saw this modus operandi extensively employed against Muslims (among other groups) in the US over the last 20 years.

This lits of these types of set-ups simply goes on and on...

Swiss to vote in referendum to repeal lockdown restrictions, 55% concerned over loss of freedoms

Swiss campaigners have triggered a referendum to strip the government of new legal powers to impose lockdowns and curtail public life as the country battles the pandemic.

Campaign group Friends of the Constitution on Wednesday handed in a petition of 86,000 signatures collected over the past three months — well in excess of the 50,000 required — to formally initiate a nationwide vote to repeal the 2020 Covid-19 Act under Switzerland's highly devolved democratic system.

The outcome will be legally binding, with a vote scheduled for as early as June. While the pandemic has exposed social and political fractures across Europe over the rights of citizens, in Switzerland — where individuals' rights are often treated as culturally sacrosanct and government powers are sharply proscribed by law — the strains have become particularly evident.

Comment: Given the choice, it's likely a significant majority of citizens in many countries suffering the totalitarian lockdowns would choose to take their power back:

Andrew Yang kicks off NYC mayoral bid, calls for universal basic income

Former 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Andrew Yang on Thursday launched his New York City mayoral campaign -- hoping to replace outgoing Bill de Blasio with an audacious pitch for a universal basic income as a headline policy.

"I'm running for mayor for a very simple reason -- I see a crisis and believe I can help," he said, citing the COVID crisis as well as high unemployment in the Big Apple.

Yang spoke in Morningside Heights on the Upper West Side of Manhattan after announcing his campaign on Wednesday evening.
"We need bold ideas and fresh ideas to revive our city. We need to look forward and adapt to economic challenges of today and the future. We also need a city government focused on competence and delivering for our people every day."
He called on the city to move away from political blame games: "When in reality, the people have been losing and it is tearing our city apart." Yang could stake out a relatively moderate candidacy in a field of left-wing Democratic hopefuls. He described his platform as "a positive vision for New York City and a rational, progressive plan to implement it and make it a reality."

Comment: Some suggest Andrew Yang is floating feel-good messages that have little chance of implementation:
