'Stop destroying our kids' lives!' Clashes, arrests as thousands protest against Covid lockdown in London

At least 33 people have been arrested for 'breaching Covid regulations' amid scuffles with riot police after thousands marched through central London in defiance of national lockdown and restrictions.

The anti-lockdown rally started as a peaceful march on Saturday afternoon, under the watchful eye of hundreds of police, but eventually turned ugly after the officers began detaining people while the protesters actively resisted and some even pelted them with bottles.

Comment: Meanwhile, in New York:
A rally held in New York City against Covid-19 measures devolved into shouting matches and scuffles as police tried to separate anti-lockdown activists and counter-demonstrators.

Several dozen people gathered at Union Square on Saturday to voice their anger over the pandemic restrictions. Some protesters were seen wearing patriotic costumes and MAGA hats as they listened to impromptu speeches by members of the crowd.

Although attendance was low when compared to coinciding rallies held in London and other cities around the world, the event led to confrontations between activists and disapproving spectators.

One clip shows two men fighting over what appears to be an American flag.

"Tell him to let it go or I'll punch," one of the individuals is heard shouting as the pair throw punches at each other.

Several police officers then intervene and separate the brawlers. After the brief skirmish, one of the men engaged in an expletive-laced argument with a woman wearing a 'Biden is not my president' shirt.

In a separate video, two pairs of men are seen wrestling on the ground. While one of the fights breaks up quickly, the other two individuals continue to brawl. Eventually, one of them is put in a headlock. Bystanders then pull the men apart. It's unclear if the fights resulted in arrests.

Flashback Baltimore detective turns to FBI, public for help finding Molly Macauley's murderer

Molly Macauley
Over a year later, police are still searching for the person responsible for killing Molly Macauley.

Macauley, 59, was stabbed to death in an affluent Baltimore neighborhood.

She was attacked while walking her dogs.

Comment: Interestingly, Macauley was killed only a few days before Seth Rich, and some have looked at tentative connections between the two murders. See: Murder of DNC's Seth Rich still unexplained - Staffer source of leaked emails?

Gunmen kill 13 police in daytime ambush in central Mexico

mexico murder
Three Mexican law enforcement agents were left lying next to their pickup truck after they were ambushed by alleged members of La Familia Michoacana on Thursday in a series of attacks that left 13 police officers dead
Gunmen killed at least 13 Mexican police in an ambush a short distance outside the capital on Thursday, local authorities said, in one of the worst mass slayings of security forces to rock the country in recent years.

Photos of the grisly scene circulated on social media showing a bullet-riddled police car and an unmarked truck, along with officers' bodies scattered out along the street or still inside the car.

The convoy of security personnel was attacked in broad daylight by suspected gang members in the Llano Grande area in the municipality of Coatepec Harinas as it patrolled the area, said Rodrigo Martinez-Celis, security minister for the State of Mexico.

How woke whites are turning minorities into Republican voters

New Republicans
© Tim Robinson/KJNRepublicans benefit from disenfranchised and would-be Democrats
Upper-class whites have alienated African Americans and Hispanics from the Democratic coalition. That's why Democrats have gone berserk — they're expecting to lose in 2022 and 2024.

In the middle of their legislative orgy of socialistic giveaways and identity politics, Democrats might want to contemplate that their political priorities do not command the support of a majority of American voters. Moreover, the warnings on this front do not come from the right — they come from leftists themselves.

When an editorial columnist from the bastion of liberalism, The New York Times, writes that "Democrats are worried — very worried — about the future of the Hispanic vote," you know something's up. As it turns out, the radicalized "woke" among upper-class whites have done a good job alienating both African Americans and Hispanics from the Democratic coalition.

Comment: Democrats want to make more states? This could entail a form of large-scale gerrymandering, that normally refers to redrawing congressional districts to the advantage of the political party that controls the State's legislature. They might split states, such as California, or offer statehood to offshore territories in order to create new political turf. In the end, people will gravitate to their best advantage and it might not be Democratic.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates brushed away "crazy" conspiracy theories about himself, 5G and coronavirus vaccines during an 'Ask Me Anything' session on Reddit, where he promoted his new book and sung the praises of synthetic meat.

Gates fielded questions from Redditors during the online Q&A on Friday, doing his best to hawk his latest volume on climate change in the process. However, it didn't take long before netizens pressed him on conspiracy-minded allegations that he is involved in a shadowy plot to implant microchips in unwitting vaccine recipients.

"I am innocent!" Gates protested, adding "The whole thing about 5G and microchips is pretty crazy. Why would I want to do that?"

Gates later said "fake news" and "disinformation" online is a "huge issue," observing that "Some false information is more interesting than the truth so digital channels seem to magnify echo chambers with bad facts."

Comment: Global warming? Brrrr! Global population up to ten billion people? Perhaps not.

'Finished with the bluffing': Jewish National Fund goes public with its aid to settlers

JNF box

For decades, Jews around the world have cherished the Jewish National Fund's supposedly "charitable" work buying and managing land in Israel. Generations of Jewish children have been encouraged to drop pennies into its iconic blue collection boxes.

The Fund is held in similar high esteem by western governments, which typically subsidize their citizens' donations to the JNF by treating them as tax exempt. Meanwhile, international agencies seek out its advice on environmental and sustainability issues.

But a vote last month by the JNF's board threatens to unmask the Zionist charity, even to its most faithful supporters. For the first time, the organization has agreed to publicly allocate funds to expand Israel's illegal Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank.

$12 million set aside

The JNF has initially set aside nearly $12 million for what it describes as "land purchases" in the occupied West Bank. In reality, the JNF will be funding the confiscation and takeover of Palestinian lands by Israel's occupation authorities.

According to reports, the JNF may ultimately funnel hundreds of millions of dollars from its reserves into the West Bank in a bid to more than double the size of the settler population there - from at least 450,000 to one million Jews.

Analysts have noted that the KKL-JNF - as the organization is known in Israel - is being rapidly reinvented as a "bank" for right-wing politicians. They want to use its enormous reserves to entrench the government's de facto annexation policy by helping the settlers tighten their hold on the West Bank.

Domestic violent extremists 'will almost certainly' attempt violence in 2021, intelligence community warns

Domestic violent extremists will "almost certainly" attempt violence this year, and racially motivated extremists are "most likely to conduct mass-casualty attacks against civilians," the intelligence community warned in a report released on Wednesday.

Jointly signed by the Director of National Intelligence, Department of Homeland Security and the Justice Department, the single-page executive summary in an unclassified version of a longer report found that militia groups typically target law enforcement and government personnel and facilities. The report states:
"Newer sociopolitical developments — such as narratives of fraud in the recent general election, the emboldening impact of the violent breach of the U.S. Capitol, conditions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and conspiracy theories promoting violence — will almost certainly spur some [domestic violent extremists] to try to engage in violence this year."
White supremacist, neo-Nazi and other groups have cropped up frequently among the hundreds of criminal cases charged in the wake of the Jan. 6th siege.

'Nothing else explains it': Norwegian scientists say AstraZeneca DID cause blood clots; British and Dutch experts dismiss theory

vaccine
© Reuters/Dado Ruvic
Norwegian scientists have linked the AstraZeneca vaccine and blood clots - a condition seen in some people that led countries around the world to halt its use. But British and Dutch medics say there's no evidence for such a link.

"The cause of our patients' condition has now been found," Pal Andre Holme, the head of a research group at the Oslo University Hospital, told Norway's VG media outlet. He was referring to the cases of three health workers under the age of 50 who suffered from severe blood clotting after receiving the AstraZeneca jab. One of the medics then died on Monday.

The clotting in those patients was triggered by a very specific "strong immune response" likely caused as a result of the AstraZeneca jab, Holme explained. In collaboration with the University Hospital of North Norway, Holme's team detected specific antibodies that "activate" platelets and in some cases can lead to blood clots.

Asked by VG if the vaccine was the "most likely" cause of this specific immune response, Holme said he believes "there is no other thing" in the history of the three individual patients which would generate such a response. None of the three patients had a history of similar health issues before, he said. "I am pretty sure it is these antibodies that are the cause and I see no other reason than that it is the vaccine that triggers them."

Comment: Big pharma's clout and message control is running full steam to protect its asset, versus pursuing increasingly factual evidence of a swift and deadly result for a portion of the population.

Denmark also reports vaccine issues resulting in blood clots:
Denmark said on Saturday that one person had died and another fell seriously ill with blood clots and cerebral haemorrhage after receiving the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccination.

The two, both hospital staff members, had both received the AstraZeneca vaccine less than 14 days before getting ill, the authority that runs public hospitals in Copenhagen said. The Danish Medicines Agency confirmed it had received two "serious reports", without giving further details. There were no details of when the hospital staff got ill.

Denmark, which halted using the AstraZeneca vaccine on March 11, was among more than a dozen countries that temporarily paused use of the vaccine after a small number of reports of cases of rare brain blood clots sent scientists and governments scrambling to determine any link.

Some countries including Germany and France this week reversed their decision to suspend use of the vaccine following an investigation into the reports of blood clots by the European Union's drug watchdog, which said on Thursday it is still convinced the benefits of the vaccine outweigh the risks.

European Medicines Agency (EMA) director Emer Cooke said on Thursday the watchdog could not definitively rule out a link between blood clot incidents and the vaccine in its investigation. But she said the "clear" conclusion of the review was that the benefits in protecting people from the risk of death or hospitalisation outweighs the possible risks. The issue deserves further analysis, the EMA said.

The EMA's review covering 20 million people in the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA), which links 30 European countries, included seven cases of blood clots in multiple blood vessels and 18 cases of a rare condition that is difficult to treat called cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST).

Canadian father, jailed for fighting to block gender transition of his child denied bail

father fight transition daughter Robert Hoogland

A father who is fighting in the family courts for the right to speak publicly in opposition to the medical and social gender transition of his child was denied bail in a hearing at Vancouver Supreme Court on Friday.

The court found him in contempt of previous orders which sought to restrain his speech with regard to the medical and social gender transition of his child by medical and legal authorities. The father opposes this process on the grounds that it is causing irreversible physical and psychological harm to his child.

This process of seeking to defend his child from iatrogenic medical harm — ordinarily something we would associate with positive parenting — has been characterised as "family violence" and harassment by the court and by the child's trans rights activist legal advisers.
