LAPD: "Burning lithium-ion batteries release toxic gases, including hydrogen fluoride, posing risks to responders and those nearby"

The American autonomous driving technology company Waymo has suspended service in downtown Los Angeles after several of its robotaxis were set on fire by anti-ICE activists over the weekend.

At least five Waymo vehicles were set ablaze on Sunday, prompting the company to remove its vehicles from the downtown Los Angeles area and suspend service, Forbes reported.

"To our media partners, demonstrators and others who may enter the area of Los Angeles St, North of Arcadia and South of Alameda: Burning lithium-ion batteries release toxic gases, including hydrogen fluoride, posing risks to responders and those nearby. Please avoid the area," the LAPD warned on X on Sunday.

Awww: Companies in pariah state Israel struggle to find customers amid Gaza genocide

Israeli companies are reportedly facing a sharp decline in attracting customers worldwide, in the wake of the global community's growing reluctance to buy from them following the launch of the war of genocide on the Gaza Strip.

According to leaked internal data from Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, the firms are paying more than double what they did in 2023 to gain online engagement, reflecting a steep drop in consumer willingness to interact with their brands.

Meta's confidential data, obtained by Drop Site News through company whistleblowers and reported by the investigative news outlet on Monday, revealed that the average cost-per-click (CPC) - the amount advertisers pay for each user click - has increased by 155.3% for Israeli companies between 2023 and 2025.

That is an "unprecedented" spike from $0.094 to $0.24, which has put the Israeli companies' CPS ranking next to Iraqi and Pakistani ones -- the next highest-paying companies as far advertisement costs are concerned, the report showed.

Comment: Nothing shows public sentiment like voting with one's wallet. This is just one manifestation of the world of hurt the Israeli economy is in.

Left's war on law and order reveal where its true sympathies lie

Americans know Dems own the chaos we're seeing on the streets of L.A., and the leftist insurrectionists are in 'need of some restraint.'

In 1968, the Rolling Stones recorded "Sympathy for the Devil," an homage to political violence. The song, now part of the classic rock Valhalla, included this bit of satanic verse: "Just as every cop is a criminal, and all the sinners saints." It was an admonition for another unhinged time in the United States and much of the world, but the late '60s "Sympathy" has in fact become the working anthem of the helter-skelter, Marxist-led Democrat Party of 2025.

Losing badly in November on everything from the economy to national security to the culture war, Democrats have decided to double down on the very things that cost them power. In so doing, they have championed men in women's sports, raised "Pride" flags for perverts, and vilified defenders of Jews as fascists while spreading antisemitism and making common cause with those calling for "death to Israel!"

The demonstrators have accused the Labour government of deepening poverty while ramping up military production

Thousands of people marched through central London on Saturday to protest the UK government's deepening militarization at the expense of public welfare.

The demonstration, organized by the People's Assembly, began at midday at Portland Place and moved toward Whitehall, with participants chanting and holding placards that read "Tax the Rich," "Nurses Not Nukes," and "Welfare Not Warfare."

A new report from a British government think tank offers some clear insights into the Starmer administration's plan to introduce a universal digital ID.

That digital ID - in one form or another - is a major part of the endgame is not any kind of revelation. We've known that was the plan for years, but the report tells us quite a lot about how it's going to be sold to the public.

I guess we should go ahead and dive in.

The Thinktank

The report was published just this week by Labour Together - formerly "The Common Good" - a thinktank founded in "Labour's wilderness years" to help "make Labour electable again", according to their about page.

Translation: They're centrist globalist Blairite shills who helped undermine and destroy the only vaguely genuine movement in the last 50 years of British "democracy" and now publish reports to push a globalist agenda.

According to the Electoral Commission, they received over £ 9 million in donations last year (from only 234 donors), much of which seems to have been "donated" by Labour Together Limited, a for-profit company. The murky world of Westminster finances is not my focus, however, and I'm sure it's at least passably legal and no more corrupt than is standard practice in those circles.

Exactly how a think tank with eighteen employees, ten advisors, four policy fellows and five board members manages to spend 9 million pounds writing a newsletter a week, a report every two months and doing some online polls I have no idea.

It's a good question for another time, perhaps. For now, we know everything we need to know - Labour Together are old-fashioned New Labour types shilling for globalist tyranny.

India tests AI-based machine gun

The new weapon can autonomously identify and engage targets in complex mountainous terrain.

The Indian Army has successfully tested an AI-enabled light machine gun at an altitude of 14,000 feet, military officials said on Monday. The weapon was developed by Indian defense firm BSS Material Ltd., and is based on the AI-powered Negev, a gun originally developed by Israel Weapon Industries.

During trials, the gun successfully showcased its capability to autonomously identify and engage targets in complex mountainous terrain, a crucial feature for effective operations in India's rugged and challenging border regions. The weapon's core strength stems from a sophisticated multi-sensor AI module, which enables advanced capabilities such as automatic target detection, friend-foe classification, and real-time engagement, allowing for precise and effective operation, an India Today report said.

Coordinated and funded: Evidence points to organized backing behind LA's anti-ICE riots

Investigators link protests to government grants, radical nonprofits, and billionaire financiers

What began as spontaneous demonstrations in Los Angeles following a series of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids has evolved into a complex investigation involving state-funded NGOs, radical activist groups, and billionaire-linked networks. According to independent researchers, including @DataRepublican, evidence suggests the violent protests were not organic but carefully planned and backed by substantial resources.

Videos and documentation from the streets point to involvement from several nonprofit organizations and activist coalitions with clear political objectives. Protesters burned American flags, blocked roadways, and attacked federal officers during what were initially described as flash protests. However, detailed financial and operational links have now surfaced — exposing what appears to be an orchestrated effort.

Why is Gavin Newsom going full Jefferson Davis?

newsom california los angeles ice riots illega immigrants
© New York PostCalifornia Gov. Gavin Newsom plans to file a lawsuit against the Trump administration early Monday morning over the president’s deployment of 300 National Guard troops to Los Angeles, even as the LAPD chief admitted Sunday his cops “are overwhelmed” by the violent anti-ICE riots taking over the city.
What triggered the American Civil War were state officials who refused to honor federal law and instead boasted of their open defiance of Washington.

That precedent apparently is the incendiary model for the weird, but dangerous recent behavior of an increasingly unhinged California Governor Gavin Newsom.

He is currently supporting the often-violent protestors in Los Angeles and their resistance to federal officials' enforcement of immigration laws.

Newsom claimed that Trump's use of ICE to detain those here illegally in the U.S. was "reckless", "chaotic" and "eroding trust".

Does he think that his own rhetoric is creating calm and building trust by opposing the lawful enforcement of federal statutes? Or is he following the baleful model of arch-Confederate rebel Jefferson Davis?

Paris wants to produce drones in Ukraine

Paris is pushing France's largest automaker, Renault, to establish a military drone production operation in Ukraine, the company has confirmed. The announcement comes as Kiev significantly intensifies drone attacks on civilian infrastructure inside Russia.

"We have been contacted by the French Defense Ministry about the possibility of producing drones," Renault said in a statement to several media outlets, including Reuters, on Sunday. Although "discussions" on the issue have taken place, the company insisted that "no decision has been taken at this stage," and that it is awaiting further details from the ministry.

French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu first revealed the plan on Friday, describing it as an "unprecedented partnership" in an interview with broadcaster LCI. Lecornu noted that the project would involve both a major carmaker and a smaller defense contractor.

Renault could be tasked with setting up drone assembly lines "a few dozen or hundreds of kilometers from the front line" in Ukraine, France Info reported on Sunday. According to the newspaper Ouest-France, the project could also involve Delair - a Toulouse-based drone manufacturer that supplies UAVs for border surveillance, reconnaissance, intelligence, and special operations forces. The company has previously delivered kamikaze drones to the French Defense Ministry, which were later sent to Ukraine.

After slow divestment, Canada's Scotiabank quietly reinvests in Israel's genocide

For almost two years, activists across Canada have been demanding that Scotiabank divest from Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit Systems. Despite a commitment to 'incremental divestment', the bank has slowly been reinvesting in Elbit.

For almost two years, activists in Vancouver and across Canada have been out on the streets demanding that Scotiabank divest completely from Israeli company Elbit Systems. Many sectors became involved in the campaign, from solidarity groups to artists, all to demand an end to this unholy alliance of a big bank with an Israeli arms company actively fueling genocide.

It's been a roller-coast ride of two steps forward, one step back. Two years ago, Scotiabank's 1832 Asset Management Fund owned 5% of Elbit Systems worth almost $500 million US. Since then, it gradually divested much of its shares and at the end of September 2024, it was down to just $118 million.
