Whelan was arrested in 2018 on espionage charges his family says were false

Former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan is among those expected to be in U.S. custody soon, along with Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, as part of a prison transfer involving the United States and Russia, a senior administration official told Fox News on Thursday.

Whelan had been wrongfully detained by Russian authorities for more than five years, according to the U.S. State Department. His release is part of a massive swap of political prisoners and journalists involving the United States and Germany.

Whelan, a corporate security executive from Michigan and former U.S. Marine, has been jailed in Russia since his December 2018 arrest on espionage-related charges that both he and the U.S. government dispute. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison.

Comment: Regarding Gershkovich, governments do have a long history of using journalist or other types of employees who would have international contacts as a cover for agents. Russia's charges are not outlandish.

Reports are emerging that Hezbollah has fired at least 60 rockets on northern Israel this evening, but the group is still signaling a 'limited' attack following Israel's killing of Nasrallah right-hand military adviser and officer Fuad Shukr, whose funeral was earlier in the day.

Comment: And the result?

Bibi's reckless actions are not endearing him to the north's illegal squatters. They much prefer the fish-in-a-barrel approach of Gaza.

UK PM announces mass AI surveillance, 'behaviour orders', police task force, after surge of protests, unrest, and rioting

starmer keir uk prime minister
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the "tiny mindless minority" behind unrest that has plagued several cities after a horrific stabbing at a children's dance class and vowed to put a stop to it as the 17-year-old suspect was named Thursday in part to counter misinformation blamed as one cause of the fiery clashes.

Starmer said the recent violence was "clearly driven by far-right hatred" as he announced a program enabling police to better share intelligence across agencies and move quickly to make arrests to prevent the kind of outbursts that have sent scores of police to the hospital the past two nights.

"This is coordinated; this is deliberate," he said. "This is not a protest that has got out of hand. It is a group of individuals who are absolutely bent on violence."

Comment: Western leaders blame the 'far-right' because their propaganda outlets have succeeded in demonising the label, which was likely chosen because the 'right' aligns with values the establishment seeks to destroy, such as national identity, and family values.

However, Starmer's attempt to tie this new policy with the far-right is demonstrably untrue, because there has been an unusual spike in unrest in recent weeks, across the UK, and which has included various groups, including British Muslims, gypsies, and the white working class; and over various issues including migration, and a child taken by social services: 17-year-old kills 3 children in knife attack at family centre in UK - 6 more wounded

Indeed, there are very small groups of people who sometimes hijack these events, however many of those are already known to police, and so mass surveillance is certainly not necessary.

Comment: It's notable that the knife attack was is just the latest, seemingly random, particularly violent incident to occur in the UK in recent weeks. However, as has become increasingly frequent in recent years, not only do these appear to occur in clusters within one country, but they can often be found to occur across multiple countries, as seems to be happening of late.

These incidents are also occurring alongside a spate of other unusual and 'unprecedented' events, and it seems reasonable to suppose that if they're not directly related, then they're perhaps a symptom of a general malaise.

Note the following is just a selection of incidents from just the last few weeks:

Turkey blocks NATO-Israel cooperation over Gaza genocide

Turkey has hampered NATO-"Israel" collaboration since October due to the war on Gaza, saying the alliance should not interact with the occupation until the aggression ceases, sources told Reuters.

Earlier in July, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated during a press conference in Washington after the NATO leaders' summit, that efforts to collaborate with "Israel" within NATO are "not acceptable."

"It is not possible for the Israeli administration, which has trampled on the fundamental values of our alliance, to continue its partnership relationship with NATO," he stressed.

Comment: Every which way the West-Israel turn, they're seeing their nefarious agenda thwarted. Even at home the establishment is being warned that their sinister aspirations just aren't feasible, but that doesn't appear to be fazing them, much: Whom The Gods Would Destroy...

Saudi King calls for strengthening ties with Iran, to promote regional peace and security

Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian
Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in a letter to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, has called for strengthening ties between Riyadh and Tehran.

The message was delivered by Saudi Minister of State, Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz to President Pezeshkian on Thursday, reported IRNA, citing the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Prince Mansour conveyed also best wishes to the Iranian people from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The Saudi King expressed hope for more constructive steps in developing bilateral relations with Iran and for the continuation of coordination and consultation between the two sides to promote regional and international peace and security.

Comment: It's likely no coincidence that with every passing day that the burgeoning 'multinodal' world reports developments such as these, there's a surge in assassinations and attempts, sabotage, coups, and the West-Israel beat the drums for world war ever louder:

US deploys 12 warships to Middle East as Israel escalates attacks in region

The United States has deployed at least 12 warships to the Middle East, a defense official told the Washington Post, amid rising tension in the region following the Israeli assassination of senior officials in Hamas and Hezbollah.

The vessels included the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt and its accompanying warships, and the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, a three-ship amphibious task force that includes more than 4,000 Marines and sailors, the official told The Washington Post, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

The official added that the rising tension in the Middle East has not prompted the Pentagon to announce any additional deployments, but the US Navy has assembled at least a dozen warships nearby.

Comment: This follows Netanyahu's rush back to Israel after allegedly being given the go ahead to escalate its war of terror in the region. And, despite the West's failed efforts against Ansra Allah in the Red Sea, Israel's failed ground offensive against Hamas, it seems that the US pathocrats are sufficiently deluded, or compromised, to want to take the risk:

Best of the Web: The Abrahamic Alliance: Reality or work of fiction?

'Abrahamic Alliance' will probably end up being an empty and superficial alliance, consisting mostly of the U.S. and Israel, similar to Operation Prosperity Guardian, which is widely considered a flop.

On Wednesday 24 July 2024, Israeli President Bibi Netanyahu delivered a speech to the Congress of the United States of America that will go down in history.

The speech of the world's most dangerous clown

In the absence of the political leadership - embroiled in an unprecedented social crisis of paedophilia scandals, old men with Alzheimer's pressing random buttons in war rooms and clowns on psychiatric drugs attacking banks -, the 'host' from the Middle East took the opportunity to travel to Washington and clarify certain programmatic aspects of the future of the collective West.

Here are some highlights of his crazy speech, with which he orwellianly turned reality upside down, spread fake news, manipulated his listeners and legitimised a genocide that goes on while the rest of the world thinks about going on holiday, while writing 'All eyes on Rafah' on social media to wash his conscience.

Comment: The Abrahamic Alliance is merely a guise to 'circle the wagons' assuring Israel an unhindered mission and survival at the expense of others. Some have eyes to see.

Moscow responds to assassination of Hamas leader

Haniyeh

Russia has strongly condemned the assassination of Hamas political chief Ismail Hanieyeh, who was killed in a missile strike on his residence in the Iranian capital Tehran on Wednesday. The attack is widely believed to have been carried out by Israel, but West Jerusalem has yet to officially claim responsibility for the strike.

Commenting on the assassination, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed:
"Moscow strongly condemns this attack, as it resulted in the death of Haniyeh. Such actions are aimed against attempts to establish peace in the region and can significantly destabilize the already tense situation."
Russia's Foreign Ministry had already released a statement condemning the attack, claiming:
"It is obvious that those who organized this political assassination understood that these actions were fraught with dangerous consequences for the entire region."
The ministry stressed that there is no doubt that Haniyeh's murder will have an extremely negative impact on future indirect contacts between Hamas and Israel and called on all parties involved to exercise restraint and avoid any steps that could dramatically worsen the security situation in the region and lead to a large-scale military confrontation.

Russia's embassy in Tehran has also expressed shock at the "cynical murder" of Haniyeh, calling it an "unacceptable political crime" that will escalate tensions in the Middle East and negatively impact negotiations to end hostilities in Gaza.

Comment: Israel's silence speaks volumes.
