At terrorists' door: RT's Murad Gazdiev caught in fierce fight against ISIS in Syria

While travelling with the Syrian army, RT exclusively witnessed first-hand how combing a liberated village can turn into a fierce fire-fight with Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in the blink of an eye.

Syrian government troops, backed by Russian airstrikes, are waging a daily struggle to retake every inch of territory from the Islamic State terrorists in the province of Deir-ez Zor.

Over the past week, Russian jets have intensified their sorties, conducting up to 150 surgical strikes against terrorist convoys coming into Syria from Iraq, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

RT's Murad Gazdiev managed to get first-hand experience of the fighting as he accompanied the Syrian military across the only bridge over the Euphrates river in the area - straight to the frontline in Hatla village in Deir-ez Zor province.

Gazdiev was standing just 500 meters from IS positions when the terrorists launched their assault, which started with an engine roar leading to fire from guns and heavier weapons.

IS terrorists use a harassing tactic against the troops - opening fire as they hide behind houses, driving around in circles at high speed, firing and quickly retreating before the military can respond, Gazdiev said with salvos audible nearby.

Russia may order reduction in US diplomats in Russia as response to seizure of Russian diplomatic property in US

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Moscow is considering various options for responding to the seizure of Russian diplomatic property in California by the United States and has not ruled out that it will demand real parity in the number of US and Russian diplomats.

A senior Russian diplomat stated that Moscow may demand real parity in the number of US and Russian diplomats, which would entail a US diplomatic mission staff cut to 300 people or less.

"As for the response, we've said, including in public, that in diplomacy there is an inviolable principle of reciprocity, and Americans know this very well. If they behaved in this way, it means they agree that we can act in kind with their foreign institutions in Russia. With regards to specific measures, we will consider them, and if necessary, they will be applied," Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's North America Department Georgiy Borisenko said in an exclusive interview.

ISIS reportedly makes agreement with Kurdish forces to evacuate Raqqa

Syria Raqqa
Local news service "Raqqa 24" has reported that the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have made an agreement with ISIS for the terrorist outfit to fully evacuate from their former capital and stronghold of Raqqa.

The report claims that direct negotiations began days ago between ISIS and the US-backed SDF in the town of Ayn Issa in northern Syria.

ISIS demanded that it was permitted to leave the city with smalls arms and not be targeted by the US-led coalition or Russian air forces.
US officers initially declined the agreement demands by ISIS but eventually succumbed after the terrorist group threatened to bomb the entirety of the city and kill as many citizens as possible.

Comment: The Kurds are more or less Western puppets and we know the case is the same for ISIS. Things are wrapping up in Syria. The US still wants its pound of flesh, likely through the settlement of a Kurdish state. The talk about the US initially declining the agreement sounds like the US was just putting on a show (or perhaps it wanted ISIS to remain in Raqqa a bit longer) because in the end it did not want Raqqa to freed by Syrian forces with Russian support.

'Freedom of navigation' operation: US destroyer challenges Beijing's 'excessive maritime claims' in South China Sea - UPDATE: Beijing sends frigate & jets to warn off US destroyer

The USS Chafee navy destroyer has sailed near the disputed Paracel Islands in the South China Sea in a so-called "freedom of navigation" operation, which, according to military officials cited by Reuters, was conducted to challenge China's "excessive claims."

The USS Chafee sailed past the Paracel Islands Tuesday, US military officials told Reuters on condition of anonymity. The destroyer reportedly sailed outside of, but "very close," to the 12-nautical-mile territorial limits of the islands which are claimed by China and its neighbors.

The mission was undertaken to challenge "excessive maritime claims" in the region, according to the officials. The destroyer, an active unit of the US Pacific Fleet, reportedly departed Hong Kong Monday.

Comment: Update: China sent a guided-missile frigate, two fighter jets and a helicopter to warn off the USS 'Chafee' near disputed islands in the South China Sea, accusing the US of damaging the country's sovereignty and security interests in the region.
Beijing condemned the mission of the guided-missile destroyer USS 'Chafee,' which on Tuesday sailed within 16 nautical miles of the disputed Paracel Islands in the South China Sea, within the framework of a so-called "freedom of navigation"operation.

"In the face of repeated provocation by the US forces, the Chinese military will further strengthen preparation for combat at sea and in the air and improve the defenses to resolutely defend national sovereignty and security interests," China's Defense Ministry said in a statement, quoted by the South China Morning Post newspaper.

The guided-missile Type 054A frigate 'Huangshan,' two J-11B fighter jets and one Z-8 helicopter were sent to identify the US vessel and make it leave the waters.

The incident with the USS 'Chafee' would affect trust between the militaries of the two countries, the ministry stated, adding that further operations of such nature might trigger "unwanted incidents."

Crimean authorities have expressed their position on Czech president's proposal to compensate Kiev financially for the loss of the peninsula after the 2014 referendum on the reunification with Russia.

The issue of Russia's sovereignty over Crimea cannot be placed into question by other states, the head of Crimean Government's Committee for Ethnic Relations Zaur Smirnov told Sputnik Tuesday, commenting on proposal by Czech President Milos Zeman regarding the possibility for Moscow to compensate Kiev financially for the loss of Crimea.

Zeman said earlier in the day that he saw possibilities for Moscow compensating Kiev financially or with oil and gas following the 2014 referendum on the peninsula's reunification with Russia. According to Zeman, this reunification is an accomplished fact and Kiev's attempts to get the peninsula back could lead to a war in Europe.

Supreme Court dismisses appeals court challenge to Trump's travel ban

The Supreme Court has vacated a decision by the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit against President Donald Trump's travel ban on several Muslim-majority countries. The high court has yet to decide on another challenge brought by the state of Hawaii, which has been upheld by the Ninth Circuit.

The legal challenge rejected by the Supreme Court on Tuesday originated in Maryland and involved a travel ban that has since been revised by the Trump administration. The challenge still before the Supreme Court comes out of Hawaii and deals with the revised travel ban on six Muslim-majority countries as well as a separate ban on refugees.

The refugee ban is not set to expire until October 24.

The high court ruled Tuesday that because the provision in question expired by its own terms on September 24, the appeal "no longer presents a 'live case or controversy.'" They vacated the case, which will be remanded to the Fourth Circuit with instructions to dismiss as moot the challenge to the March 6 executive order.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor was the only dissenting opinion in the Tuesday decision. Sotomayor agreed that the Supreme Court should not hear the case, but argued that the ruling from the Fourth Circuit should have been kept in place.

China could shatter petrodollar, compel Saudi Arabia to use yuan

Beijing is likely to "compel" Saudi Arabia to sell crude oil in yuan, and others will follow, according to the chief economist and managing director at High Frequency Economics Carl Weinberg. This will hit the US dollar, he says.

In an interview with CNBC Weinberg said China has become a key player in the oil market since overtaking the US to become the world's largest importer. Saudi Arabia has "to pay attention to this because even as much as one or two years from now, Chinese demand will dwarf US demand," Weinberg told the media.

"I believe that yuan pricing of oil is coming and as soon as the Saudis move to accept it - as the Chinese will compel them to do - then the rest of the oil market will move along with them," he added.

Comment: Money...at the 'root of all evil' and the universal power grab! Will the future of the Yuan be any better?

Austrian UN envoy: The JCPOA deal will stand even if US pulls out

JCPOA
© My Future America
Possible US moves to decertify the Iranian nuclear deal is "unjustifiable," Austria's envoy to the UN has said. He added that the agreement will stand even if the US pulls out as all the other parties, including Tehran, are committed to it.

The nuclear deal with Iran, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), will remain in place even if the United States decide to pull out of the agreement, Jan Kickert told the IRNA news agency in an exclusive interview.

He noted, though, that Tehran must abide by the obligations it signed up to. "We hope that Iran will stick to its commitment, because then the other parties to the treaty, Europeans in particular, and also the Russians and the Chinese, will also stick to it," Kickert said. "We believe that if one party keeps its commitment to the contract, the other should also."

Iran's compliance with the deal has been repeatedly verified by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN watchdog mandated to monitor Tehran's implementation of the 2015 agreement. In September, the IAEA once again stated that Tehran is fully complying with the agreement.

Kickert reiterated the European stance voiced earlier by the EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini. She pointed out that the agreement "serves the interests of all parties," while its possible failure will affect all the international community, not just the US. "The European position is very clear: we believe that this treaty is a good one, and should be kept and all the commitments from all the parties should be kept," Kickert said. "There is no intention by the Europeans to pull out," he emphasized.

Comment: Deal or No Deal: Perhaps it is Trump that is "breaking 'the spirit' of the agreement."

Project Veritas: NYT's video editor brags about slanting Trump coverage, Comey connection

A new exposé by Project Veritas has revealed a video editor for the New York Times lying about his relationship with former FBI director James Comey, while also claiming to slant stories against President Donald Trump on the front page.

James O'Keefe, the founder of Project Veritas released hidden camera footage of several conversations with Nick Dudich, the audience strategy editor for NYT Video, as part of his American Pravda video series, which began with undercover recordings of CNN employees.

In the video, Dudich calls himself the "gatekeeper" for all the New York Times videos posted online, saying that his "imprint is on every video we do. Any video that goes on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram - I have a hand in that," Dudich said.

When talking journalistic ethics, Dudich is captured sarcastically making air quotes while he said that he will "be objective" working for the Times before quickly admitting: "no I'm not. That's why I'm there."

According to the New York Times ethical handbook, employees "must do nothing that might raise questions about their professional neutrality or that of The Times."

"As a journalist, I'm not able to give any money to any political organization. I'm not able to volunteer for any political organization. I'm not able to work for any nonprofit or charity. Like, there's a lot of guidelines and ethics," Dudich said. However, before joining the Times, Dudich worked social media on the 2012 presidential campaign of former President Barack Obama and the 2016 presidential campaign of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Comment: Caught with their pants down! If the Times can hire one loose cannon and not discover it, there could be more. What does it say to the diligence of NYT management? At this point one might conjecture most MSM outlets have some sort of infiltration by those whose assigned or personal mission it is to sway opinion by slanting the news in malicious and destructive directions. This sort of reveal questions the possibility of extension levels of sabotage and the secret corruption processes hidden, overlooked, or worse yet, permitted within 'trusted' organizations such as the news service.

Liberal media's worst nightmare: Poll shows vast majority of Americans agree with Trump on immigration

americans agree trump immigration
Americans want LEGAL Americans put first and illegals OUT.
Well, well, well... so after ALL the non-stop liberal media and Democratic party propaganda that floods CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times, Wapo and every other left wing publication, Americans STILL agree with Trump on immigration.

No matter how much pathetic propaganda or silly 'human interest' pieces on CNN trying to make illegals look like angels we should be thankful for instead of the trespassing criminals they are, America is NOT buying it.

Americans want LEGAL Americans put first and illegals OUT.
