Nunes calls for Jeff Sessions to aggressively investigate Comey, Clinton, Lynch

Comment: The tone may be somewhat hysterical but the sentiments are valid. All the corruption issues represented by Comey, Killary and Lynch need to be fully aired in the public sphere.

Can someone wake up Jeff Sessions, and let him know there is a hell of a lot of people that need AGGRESSIVE investigating?

That's what Rep. Nunes is calling for.

From Deep State to Clinton to Comey, Clinton, Lynch, and Obama there's a slew of people who should be probed.

Instead, we're sitting back, playing "defense" while our America First President is the subject of a witch-hunt.

The time is NOW, enough waiting - we need action. We need Sessions to be a PITBULL, the same way Holder and Lynch were for Obama.

How to steal an American election with only a pocketful of rubles

For the next two days, the titans of social media will explain to stony-faced members of the Senate Judiciary Committee's Panel on Crime and Terrorism exactly how Russia purchased the 45th President of the United States for just pennies on the dollar.

Although Russia jumped on the democratic bandwagon rather late in the game, it appears that Russian political technologists are already light-years ahead of the wolf pack when it comes to the election process, which - let's be honest - has always been a tainted affair, even in fairy-tale Western capitals.

While US lobbyists are cunning enough to hedge their bets on both horses in every race, or join some shady Super PACs to get maximum bang for the buck, nobody has been able to determine - with absolute, rock-solid certainty - the outcome of any political contest.

That is, until now.

At this point, the more incredulous readers may wish to have a seat because the following news will send spasms of shock and awe to the very core of your democratic being.

The U.S.-Israeli alliance is a devil's bargain and obstacle to peace

US Israeli flags
In Obstacle to Peace: The US Role in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, Jeremy R. Hammond, publisher and editor of the online Foreign Policy Journal, makes a convincing case that the American government has routinely collaborated with Israel to block a genuine peace process, avoid compliance with international law and co-opt the mainstream media.

Hammond traces the conflict from the rise of Hamas in Gaza in 1987 through the U.N. vote on Palestinian statehood in 2012. His chapters on "Operation Cast Lead," The Goldstone Report and the Gaza Flotilla Incident ("Murder on the High Seas") are especially revealing of the U.S.-Israel complicity.

With 70 pages of detailed notes to support his case, the author cites as continuing U.S. policies:
+ Refusal to accept a two-state solution;

+ Refusal to negotiate with Hamas;

+ Refusal to call Israel to account for war crimes;

+ Opposition to Palestinian statehood; and

+ Co-option of the mainstream media.

+ The following are the book's significant conclusions:

Comment: Another thing that most analysis of this kind seem to miss is that the US, itself, is guilty of mass oppression, subterfuge and carnage throughout the world. Yes, it can (and should be) called out for being Israel's puppet in major respects, but America has a long (and now intensified) history of wreaking mass havoc of its own volition.

Still, the detrimental influence and effect that Israel has had over US politics is immense:

Fmr CIA analyst Ray McGovern: Mueller is a fraud who covered up torture, 9/11 and illegal surveillance

With Robert Mueller's indictment of Paul Manafort, the special 'witch-hunt' investigation into "Russiagate" has resulted in charges against a DC lobbyist for working with Ukraine to influence US Congressmen..."Ukrainegate?"

There is no Russia connection to be found.

Peter Lavelle and his CrossTalk panel examined the real reasons behind Mueller's indictment of Manafort, exposing how those investigating "collusion" are the very same people that have colluded with foreign actors.

Understatement of the year: Manafort says Mueller's case is 'embellished'

Accused of multiple financial crimes, President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman on Thursday attacked the strength of the evidence against him, saying the case brought by special counsel Robert Mueller is "embellished."

In a court filing Thursday, attorneys for Paul Manafort defended him as a "successful, international political consultant" who, by nature of his work on behalf of foreign political parties, was necessarily involved in international financial transactions. They say Manafort, who led Trump's campaign for several months last year, has done nothing wrong and doesn't pose a risk of fleeing the country.

Comment: Sort of; he's 'done nothing wrong' insofar as he did what everyone in the Washington swamp does.

The filing was the first volley from Manafort's defense team, which seeks to undermine a 12-count indictment against him and longtime business associate Rick Gates. Mueller announced the indictment Monday, charging the men with money laundering and other financial crimes related to their political consulting work for Ukraine's former ruling party.

It ain't just Hollywood: Female lawmakers allege harassment by colleagues in House

For years, Republican Rep. Mary Bono endured the increasingly suggestive comments from a fellow lawmaker in the House. But when the congressman approached her on the House floor and told her he'd been thinking about her in the shower, she'd had enough.

She confronted the man, who she said still serves in Congress, telling him his comments were demeaning and wrong. And he backed off.

Bono, who served 15 years before being defeated in 2012, is not alone.

As reports flow almost daily of harassment or worse by men in entertainment, business and the media, one current and three former female lawmakers tell The Associated Press that they, too, have been harassed or subjected to hostile sexual comments - by fellow members of Congress.

Comment: Interesting that this seems to mirror the current scandal across the pond in Westminster, too: ... and in corporate America: ... and in journalism: ... and... charitable organizations?: ... and, of course, Hollywood: Are we starting to see a pattern here?

On Tuesday, senior executives from the big three tech giants, Google, Facebook and Twitter, appeared before a Senate Judiciary subcommittee chaired by Republican Lindsay Graham. The purpose of the hearing was to give further testimony on the subject of "Russian meddling" through the use of social media services.

Sean J. Edgett, Acting General Counsel for Twitter, told the assembled lawmakers that the company had identified "nine [Russia-linked] accounts that...promoted election-related content Tweets that, based on our manual review, violated existing or recently implemented ads policies, such as those prohibiting inflammatory or low-quality content."

According to Edgett, two of those accounts were @RT_COM and @RT_America. "Together, the two accounts spent $516,900 in advertising in 2016, with $234,600 of that amount devoted to ads that were served to users in the US," he said.

Hillary defends Trump dossier, makes dubious claims about its release

Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton says the infamous Democratic-financed, Russian-sourced dossier did not "come out" during the election.

That is not the full story.

"From my perspective, it didn't come out before the election as we all know," Mrs. Clinton said Wednesday night on Comedy Central's The Daily Show. She defended the dossier as standard opposition research.

Comment: "From my perspective"? Either it came out before or after the election - that's not a matter of perspective. Also, it does not qualify as "research" if it was made up.

But some of the dossier's more scandalous allegations did surface in the Washington news media before Nov. 8. And her campaign helped spread them around to bash candidate Donald Trump. The campaign used Twitter and TV surrogates to say the information was proof he and Russia were in cahoots to defeat Mrs. Clinton.

Comment: When Hillary Clinton says the information in the dossier is "still being evaluated", this is a euphemism for "we have no evidence to back up any of its claims". See:

Smile! DHS wants tech to scan your face as you drive to Mexico

The Homeland Security Department wants technology that can passively scan the faces of foreign nationals crossing the U.S. border by car, ensuring that the individuals who enter the country are the same ones who leave it.

DHS' Silicon Valley outpost is hosting an industry day Nov. 14 to solicit solutions that would let Customs and Border Protection scan people's faces, even if they're wearing sunglasses, hats or are looking away from the camera, without requiring them to slow down or exit the car.

DHS has been dinged on its biometric exit program before. Its overstay reports, which records who has overstayed their visa, are often incomplete, according to the Government Accountability Office, potentially causing "significant homeland security risks."

Comment: Forget micro-chipping! The Department of Homeland Security seems to be aggressively pursuing implementing this face scanning technology as a means of tracking their cattle citizens. From Facecrime: Facial recognition technology ushers in an Orwellian future:
The justification for using this technology against a public who is never given the opportunity to consent or to op-out is, as always, public safety, as police and government agencies claim the technology is needed to spot criminal elements, gang members and other threats to the public. Here, a quote from George Orwell offers a glimpse of what the inevitable outcome of this is:
"It was terribly dangerous to let your thoughts wander when you were in any public place or within range of a telescreen. The smallest thing could give you away. A nervous tic, an unconscious look of anxiety, a habit of muttering to yourself-anything that carried with it the suggestion of abnormality, of having something to hide. In any case, to wear an improper expression on your face (to look incredulous when a victory was announced, for example) was itself a punishable offence. There was even a word for it in Newspeak: FACECRIME, it was called." - 1984, George Orwell

US Air Force admits to harvesting human tissue in Russia

© Manuel Balce Ceneta / ReutersPutin: "The question is - why is it being done?"

What the heck is going on?

A day after Russian President Vladimir Putin surprised members of Russia's human rights council by informing them that some shadowy entity - possibly with ties to the United States - had been collecting biological tissues from Russians from different ethnic groups, the group responsible for harvesting the tissue has revealed itself.

While some initially discounted Putin's remarks as another loony conspiracy theory, as it turns out, he was right: The group responsible for the tissue collection was none other than the US Air Force, proving that yet another conspiracy theory has become a conspiracy fact.

A representative for the US Air Force Education and Training Command explained to Russia Today that the choice of the Russian population was not intentional, and is related to research the Air Force is conducting on the human musculoskeletal system.
