Two US B-1B strategic bombers have conducted drills over South Korea, the US Air Force confirmed. It comes ahead of President Donald Trump's visit to the region as both Washington and Pyongyang continue to goad each other.

The Guam-based aircraft were accompanied by fighter jets from South Korea and Japan, according to the Air Force statement. It said the aircraft flew over the country's Pilsung Training Range. "The bilateral continuous bomber presence (CBP) mission was planned in advance," the Air Force said. It added that the drill was "not in response to any current event."

Reacting to the war games, the North Korean State News Agency (KCNA) claimed it was "a surprise nuclear strike drill," alleging it's yet further proof that Washington "is seeking to ignite a nuclear war."

CIA is using Bin Laden files to deceive the public on Iran, former intelligence official warns

An intelligence insider is warning the public about this latest CIA mass release of purported Osama Bin Laden files from devices found in the Abbottabad, Pakistan compound, saying that it has a specific political agenda with content that has been carefully and selectively published by the CIA in order to manipulate the public. This surprising insider testimony comes as Iran hawks argue they've found "proof" of an Iran and al-Qaeda connection, and as no information has yet to surface from the files regarding how bin Laden came to be living for years in the neighborhood of Pakistan's most visible military academy and within clear sight of the Pakistani government and allied US intelligence services.

Yesterday the CIA published to its public archives website 18,000 document files, about 79,000 audio and image files and over 10,000 video files taken from devices found in the deceased al-Qaeda leader's compound six and a half years ago. Among the most significant items provided is what the CIA says is bin Laden's personal hand-written journal. This is the fourth major release of bin Laden documents since the first trove of materials was published in May 2015.

Timeline tinkering fallout? Lawyer for LV massacre victims says police responded immediately to Campos shooting - were outside room BEFORE mass shooting started

paddock mandalay
One month after the Las Vegas shooting, there are a number of remaining questions about what led up to the massacre and how it unfolded, but there are also a several questions about why the timeline continues to change drastically - and the latest change puts law enforcement outside the shooter's door minutes before the massacre began.

Some of the most glaring changes in the timeline have revolved around the account of Mandalay Bay Hotel security guard Jesus Campos, who was reportedly injured by suspected shooter Stephen Paddock. Campos went from being just another causality in the shooting to Paddock's first victim, who was shot only once in the leg, despite the fact that the shooter fired 200 rounds down the hallway in his direction.

During an interview on Fox News with Tucker Carlson, an attorney for the victims revealed that not only did police officers respond to Campos after he was shot, they were right outside of Paddock's door before he began shooting out of his hotel room window.

"As of yesterday it was that two - we knew about Campos - but there were two other police officers from MGM that were on the floor prior to the shooting," Craig Eiland said.

The conversation came up while Carlson and Eiland were discussing the mysterious circumstances surrounding both Campos' story and how tightly he has been controlled by MGM Grand.

Comment: Of course, this is predicated on the latest timeline revision. If the original timeline was correct, these two off-duty officers would've arrived AFTER the shooting. But now that Campos got pushed back 15 minutes, they could only have gotten there BEFORE the shooting. Either way, it's clear the authorities are just plain making it up at this point, as they have been since the beginning.

Syrian summary: ISIS loses control of its last major urban refuge

Military control Syria
Today the Syrian Arab Army liberated the city of Deir Ezzor from ISIS. The last resistance ended over night. The remaining ISIS fighters tried to flee north across the Euphrates towards the area held by U.S. proxy forces. Most of them were not successful in their attempts. It will take another few days to remove the remaining improvised mines in the city and to secure the ammunition and weapons ISIS abandoned.

For five years a contingent of some 5-7,000 Syrian soldiers and policemen had held a part of Deir Ezzor city first against Jabhat al-Nusra and then against ISIS. They secured the life of some 100,000 civilian inhabitants. Many soldiers and civilians died. Despite intense attempts and U.S. air support ISIS did not manage to dislodge the Syrian government forces. Only two month ago a serious SAA attempt to relief the city from the outside was launched. It went remarkably well. The defense of Deir Ezzor and its relief deserve an epic novel.

With Deir Ezzor cleared the supply lines of the Syrian army are secured and the push along the Euphrates towards the last urban area held by ISIS can proceed.

IDF plans intervention to "save" Syrian Druze town from terrorists IDF supports

druze
Israeli police forces and military have been deployed in the vicinity of Majdal Shams, a Druze-majority town, located close to the Syrian border, after the US/Saudi/Turkish-backed jihadists assaulted the predominantly Druze town of Hadar in Syria's Quneitra province.

The Israeli police forces have blocked main routes leading to the Syrian border in order to prevent Majdal Shams residents from arriving in the area.

An Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) message is being circulated, saying that (for the first time) the Israeli Army will intervene against the Syrian jihadists in order to prevent the capture of Hadar.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Army Radio reported that hundreds of Druzes from Galilee and Golan regions began arriving in Majdal Shams in solidarity with Hadar residents.

Earlier today, the terrorists detonated a car bomb in the Syrian town of Hadar in Quneitra province. At least nine people were killed and 23 were left wounded.

Comment: How noble, after years of support to those very terrorists: You've gotta give it to the Israelis. Even the Americans can't come close to their level of two-faced mendacity and cynical manipulation of "terrorism" for their own political purposes.

What do we know about the Democratic National Committee in 2017?

For starters it's completely in shambles.

Patriots to the right of the spectrum have complete and utter hatred towards the cultural marxist mantra of corruption in which the DNC wears upon their sleeves like a badge of honor.

Anarcho-Communists to the left of the spectrum have an undying flame of spite and anger towards the corrupt and failed platform of cheating and lies in which the DNC wears atop their heads proudly like a crown of thorns.

Everyone and their mother realizes that the DNC is a structural failure which has resulted in the collapse of one of the tallest skyscrapers in the land.

A Russian submarine and six long-range Tu-22M3 strategic bombers have performed a "massive" missile and bomb strike in eastern Syria, destroying ISIS hideouts and stockpiles in the governorate of Deir ez-Zor.

The attacks were carried out on Friday, targeting positions of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) terrorists near the Syrian city of Abu Kemal.

The Russian submarine 'Kolpino' and six Tu-22M3 bombers participated in the operation to support the advancing Syrian government troops, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Gen. Igor Konashenkov said at a press briefing.

The submarine launched a salvo of six Kalibr cruise missiles from a submerged position, the spokesman added. "A major ISIS unit near Abu Kemal received a crushing blow during the massive missile and aviation strike," Konashenkov stated.

Russia says US refusal to help injured refugees in Syria amount to war crimes

Syria US flag
Russia's Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria told reporters on Friday that the refusal for the US to help injured refugees near al-Tanf on October 29 can be considered a war crime.

"In the skirmish there, 13 Syrian refugees were killed, another 20, including children, were injured. The US did not offer any medical assistance to the injured refugees. Actually, all those injured are doomed. Such actions of the US military and the so-called international coalition near al-Tanf constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and can be qualified as a war crime," the center said in a statement.

More foot-shooting: Chinese bank barred from operating in US because of North Korean links

The United States has excluded China's Bank of Dandong from its financial system, alleging it had helped North Korea evade economic sanctions and launder funds.

"The US Department of the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) today issued a final rule under Section 311 of the USA PATRIOT Act that severs Bank of Dandong, a Chinese bank that acts as a conduit for illicit North Korean financial activity, from the US financial system," the statement said.

The new sanctions will ban any bank doing business in the US from conducting transactions with the Bank of Dandong.

The Treasury accused the Chinese bank of performing millions of dollars of transactions for companies connected to North Korea's ballistic missile and nuclear weapons programs.

According to the Treasury documents seen by the Financial Times, the bank facilitated $786 million in transactions through correspondent banks in the US between May 2012 and May 2015. About 17 percent of those operations were with companies linked to North Korean entities under sanctions from the US and UN.
