Trump accuses Ron DeSantis of 'playing games'... He's probably right

desantis trump
In a news release which was also posted in part to Truth Social, former President Donald Trump accused Florida Governor Ron DeSantis of "playing games," calling him "Ron DeSanctimonious." Trump also suggested in the statement that DeSantis lacked "loyalty and class" for not denying a potential 2024 presidential run.

"NewsCorp, which is Fox, the Wall Street Journal, and the no longer great New York Post (bring back Col!), is all in for Governor Ron DeSanctimonious, an average REPUBLICAN Governor with great Public Relations, who didn't have to close up his State, but did, unlike other Republican Governors, whose overall numbers for a Republican, were just average - middle of the pack — including COVID, and who has the advantage of SUNSHINE, where people from badly run States up North would go no matter who the Governor was, just like I did!" said Trump.

War in Ukraine is 'Not in the interests of European countries' - French general

The ongoing war in Ukraine is "not in the interest" of Europe, a French General has claimed, saying that the continent has aligned itself too much with American interests on the issue.

General Pierre de Villiers, who formerly served as the Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces, argued on Wednesday that European nations should be pushing for a de-escalation of the war in Ukraine, saying that the continued conflict is not in the interests of Europe.

During an interview with French broadcaster BFMTV, de Villiers criticised Europe's collective failure to seek an end to the conflict that does not "bring dishonour" to Ukraine, which he describes as "fighting bravely" after having been attacked by Russia.
"The war in Ukraine is not in the interest of European countries, certainly not of France, perhaps of the Americans," the General told the broadcaster.

Don't expect the midterms to change our foreign policy

More defense spending, pushing out Putin — this is a bipartisan consensus.

President Joe Biden and his Democratic allies were expecting a romp on Tuesday. So were many of the career prognosticators surveying the election landscape. Instead, many of the close Senate races, including in all-important Georgia and Nevada, haven't been called. Those of us who have been staring at the returns for hours on end still don't know the full extent of the results.

But what can be said with reasonable certainty is that however the balance of power stacks up, foreign policy is likely to be the same as it ever was. The status quo is an all-powerful force inside the Beltway, where conventional wisdom rules the roost and any tilt away from the mainstream is usually corrected before an honest discussion can be had on the merits.

Comment: Imagine writing an article like this and not even once mentioning the Deep State. It wouldn't matter if any of the above mentioned politician's felt strongly about an issue, if it runs counter to the establishment plan, it's not going to see the light of day. Foreign policy changes when it's expedient to change. The politicians are window dressing.

Caroline Wren, the Senior Advisor for Kari Lake, joined Steve Bannon on The War Room on Thursday morning.
It has been two days since the midterm election and Arizona still has not counted all of the ballots. There are currently 621,856 ballots left to count in the state. Third-world countries have more secure elections than Arizona and several Democrat states in the US.

On Thursday morning Caroline reiterated that there is "no mathematical path for Katie Hobbs to be governor."

Caroline then broke down the votes that are left to be counted.

John Kerry spills the beans at U.N.'s COP27 meeting: They want to replace capitalism with a new economic system

John Kerry
Pope Francis also recently called for a 'new economic system'

The World Economic Forum's climate change agenda was "modeled" off the effort to roll out vaccines during the Covid pandemic, John Kerry said during a COP27 panel discussion in Egypt on Tuesday.

That means we can all look forward to high-pressure, coercive government tactics, and not only from the government but from corporate elites.

Appearing alongside WEF President Børge Brende and various corporate executives, U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry said that it is urgent for the private sector to pair with governments to realize the goal of preventing the global temperature from rising and to save lives in the allegedly looming global climate crisis, Breitbart reported.

Kerry said in a speech before the panel:
"We have an enormous challenge before us to bring to scale new technologies and to harness the deeply capable capacity of private sector entrepreneurs in order to bring them to the table because without it, no government has enough money... we need everybody behind this."

America's 'Ministry of Truth' hasn't gone away: Official Washington hasn't abandoned its plan to control social networks

The US Department of Homeland Security is secretly ramping up its efforts to censor and suppress information it considers dangerous - in other words, it's focussed on inconvenient, but true, facts. A body originally created to defend Americans from terror is now threatening free speech everywhere online - and doing so with the active help of major tech firms.

This is all revealed in leaked documents obtained by journalists Ken Klippenstein and Lee Fang. Perhaps the most worrying papers are those that show that the highly controversial and widely condemned DHS (or "Disinformation Governance Board") - and the serious threat it poses to free speech - hasn't gone anywhere.

How it started...

The body was announced with much fanfare on 27 April. Government officials, pundits, and mainstream journalists fell over themselves to praise the news, and the Board's chief, former Ukrainian government communication adviser Nina Jankowicz.

Just three weeks later, the DGB was placed on indefinite hold, and Jankowicz resigned. The rapid turnaround was said by the Washington Post to itself be the result of dangerous disinformation that had been spread about the Board and about its boss, who it was also claimed had fallen victim to a concerted campaign of misogynistic abuse.

The truth is that many valid criticisms and concerns were raised about the DGB and Jankowicz herself, with free speech advocates understandably afraid the Board would serve as a state censorship unit, dictating what is and isn't true, what citizens are allowed to think, and which sources of information should be silenced and deplatformed.

The latest batch of US military aid to Ukraine consists mainly of artillery ammunition and short-range air defense missiles, the Pentagon revealed on Thursday. Washington says the new weapons will help Kiev counter Russian drone strikes against critical infrastructure.

The Ukrainian military will get 21,000 155mm artillery rounds, as well as 500 of the precision-guided Excalibur shells, and 10,000 rounds for the heavy 120mm mortars, in addition to an unspecified quantity of ammunition for the US-supplied High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), the Pentagon said.

The US has also pledged four Avenger air defense vehicles, which are basically Humvees equipped with four launchers for Stinger man-portable missiles.

There will also be an undisclosed number of Hawk missiles for the 1950s-era field air defense vehicles. Spain delivered four of its spare Hawks last week, and promised two more on Thursday.

Among the equipment listed in the statement are also 100 more Humvees, 400 grenade launchers, an unspecified amount of small arms and twenty million rounds of ammunition for them, "demolition equipment for obstacle clearing" and cold-weather gear.

Comment: This newest care package is worth, according to the Department of Defense, $400 million.

Bayraktar dream ends for Ukraine; 'angry' Ankara backs out of setting up TB2 factory in war zone - reports

drone

The era of Turkiye's TB-2 Bayraktar drones in Ukraine might finally end if reports from Russian media and social media comments from the Turkish company's founder are to be believed.

Baykar has reportedly conveyed to the Ukrainian government its inability to set up a factory in partnership with a Ukrainian state-run defense firm. Two primary reasons are believed to be behind the move:
One, the decreasing utility and increasing vulnerability of the drones to Russian air defense and electronic warfare reported by the mainstream Western press since June.

Secondly, a deal struck between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan to make Turkey into a "gas hub," helping the latter realize its dreams of a regional powerhouse, has played a significant part in declining active Turkish support.
Observers believe Erdogan readily obliged Putin's demands to stop arming Ukraine in return, given the decent personal rapport between the two leaders.

Pentagon exploits post 9/11 laws to wage 'secret wars' worldwide, NYU School of Law report reveals

US Army
© US Army/Spc. Hubert Delany IIIBy abusing 'security cooperation authorities,' the US Department of Defense has waged war on dozens of fronts without the need to report to congressional authorities
A report released last week by the New York University School of Law's Brennan Center for Justice details how the US Department of Defense (DoD) has been allowed to covertly deploy troops and wage secret wars over the past two decades in dozens of countries across the globe.

Among the nations in West Asia affected by these so-called 'security cooperation authorities' are Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen; however, they also include many African and Latin American nations.

Known as 'security cooperation authorities,' they were passed by the US Congress in the years following the 11 September attacks, and are a continuation of the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF), a piece of legislation that has been stretched by four successive governments.

Comment: Any fallout from The Pentagon's illegal 'warfare operations' may have thus far remained far away enough from the Western world for the vast majority of people to live in blissful ignorance, but with nearly a third of the weapons intended for Ukraine 'going missing', and some already crossing the borders over into Europe, the consequences of these proxy wars and their armies may soon become impossible to ignore:

Rewiring Eurasia: Mr. Patrushev goes to Tehran

The meeting this week between two Eurasian security bosses is a further step toward dusting away the west's oversized Asian footprint.
Patruschev & Shamkhani

Two guys are hanging out in a cozy room in Tehran with a tantalizing new map of the world in the background.

Nothing to see here? On the contrary. These two Eurasian security giants are no less than the - unusually relaxed - Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.

And why are they so relaxed? Because the future prospects revolving around the main theme of their conversation - the Russia-Iran strategic partnership - could not be more exciting.

This was a very serious business affair: an official visit, at the invitation of Shamkhani.

Patrushev was in Tehran on the exact same day that Russian Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu - following a recommendation from General Sergey Surovikin, the overall commander of the Special Military Operation - ordered a Russian retreat from Kherson.

Patrushev knew it for days - so he had no problem to step on a plane to take care of business in Tehran. After all, the Kherson drama is part of the Patrushev negotiations with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on Ukraine, which have been going on for weeks, with Saudi Arabia as eventual go-between.

Besides Ukraine, the two discussed "information security, as well as measures to counter interference in the internal affairs of both countries by western special services," according to a report by Russia's TASS news agency.

Both countries, as we know, are particular targets of western information warfare and sabotage, with Iran currently the focus of one of these no-holds-barred, foreign-backed, destabilization campaign.

Patrushev was officially received by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who went straight to the point: "The cooperation of independent countries is the strongest response to the sanctions and destabilization policies of the US and its allies."

Patrushev, for his part, assured Raisi that for the Russian Federation, strategic relations with Iran are essential for Russian national security.
