The US has reached the limits of "cynicism" and "moral degradation" by claiming to sympathize with Russians while providing weapons that kill them, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev said in a Telegram post on Thursday.

The remarks came in response to a short video message published by the US embassy in Moscow on Wednesday, in which it highlighted the "commonness" of the cultures and achievements of both countries while stating that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine was "unworthy" of the Russian people.

Medvedev claimed the clip shows "egregious cynicism in keeping with the best traditions of the Nazis" and called the US "the true heirs of the [Nazi] propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels."

The US government's policies on Ukraine show it is not interested in a peaceful resolution of the conflict, the Russian ambassador to Washington said on Thursday.

In a statement, Anatoly Antonov argued that Washington's decision to supply Kiev with Bradley Fighting Vehicles only confirms the US has not "even tried to listen" to Russia's warnings against such "a dangerous course."

"The US unleashed a real proxy-war against Russia by supporting Nazi criminals in Kiev" as early as 2014, the ambassador said, referring to the coup that ousted the democratically elected president, Viktor Yanukovich. "Any talk about a 'defensive nature' of weapons supplied to Ukraine has long become absurd," he added.

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) voted last week to refer Israel to the International Court of Justice (World Court) for its on-going violation of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination in the occupied territories of the West Bank and Gaza and for adopting measures aimed at altering the demographic composition, character and status of the holy city of Jerusalem.

Among them were of course the US, Britain and a number of other Western states. A huge number — 53 — also abstained. India which at the time of the creation of Israel in 1948 was in the forefront of the struggle to defend the rights of the Palestinians was one of the abstentions. Its growing ties with Israel, especially in the military sphere have often been cited as the main reason for this change in attitude.

Ukrainian officials had rejected Moscow's proposal to cease hostilities for 36 hours

Ukraine's forces disregarded the Christmas ceasefire announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin less than a minute after it took effect, by shelling a residential area in the city of Donetsk, according to the local authorities. The truce is supposed to last from noon on January 6 until midnight on January 7.

In a Telegram post on Friday, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC), a monitoring group that tracks attacks on Russia's Donbass regions, said that Kiev's forces had fired six 155mm shells targeting the Petrovsky District in the western part of the city. Published Tuesday, the latest round of the Twitter Files - internal documents revealing how Twitter engaged in censorship and promoted disinformation in tandem with government agencies for the past few years - revealed that Schiff's office asked Twitter to remove journalist Paul Sperry and others from the site.

Taibbi, who published the Twitter Files post-by-post to Twitter at the behest of Musk, provided documentation showing that "the office for Democrat and House Intel Committee chief Adam Schiff" asked "Twitter to ban journalist Paul Sperry."

Earlier, Xi had announced that Beijing will hold the 3rd Belt and Road Forum in 2023. This has been confirmed, off the record, by diplomatic sources. The forum was initially designed to be bi-annual, first held in 2017 and then 2019. 2021 didn't happen because of Covid-19.

Using the Public Space Protection Order, West Midlands Police arrested pro-life activist Isabel Vaughan-Spruce for silently praying on the streets of Birmingham.

Isabel Vaughan-Spruce is a pro-life activist who was arrested on Tuesday 6 December 2022 for allegedly breaking a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) which has been placed around the abortion clinic in Kings Norton, Birmingham. Vaughan-Spruce was subsequently charged on December 15 with four counts of failing to comply with a PSPO and has been bailed until she appears at Birmingham Magistrates Court on February 2, 2023.

What this manufactured crisis conveniently camouflages is that we are in the midst of a planned total economic collapse- a collapse which was inevitable.

The timing of the COVID fraud became necessary as world markets were faced with an emergency debt crisis in Fall of 2019 which popped up in formerly mostly liquid markets: Repo Markets, Money Markets and Foreign Exchange Markets.

Western governments began a rush to salvage this decaying system, stem this cataclysmic landslide, bail out large scale investors and proactively install a security infrastructure to control the inevitable social disorder resulting from this collapse. This would be followed by a global financial reset, after a period of hyperinflation, destroying both the value of debt and the corresponding paper claims.

The financial system was already in an advanced stage of decline by the fall of 2019 as illustrated by the Fed taking over the Repo market in September to short-circuit the Repocalypse. This collapse began in earnest in 2008/09 and attempts over the last decade and a half to salvage this corrupt economic system only delayed the inevitable.
