Most Germans do not trust the state - poll

Trust in the state has fallen to record lows in Germany and most of the population thinks their officials are simply incapable of doing their job, a new survey commissioned by the nation's biggest public sector employee union shows.

The number of people who believe that the state is 'overwhelmed' with the tasks it is facing has reached 69%, the poll (conducted by the Forsa Institute for Social Research and Statistical Analysis) indicates. The number of people who still trust the abilities of their public officials has fallen by two percentage points, in comparison to the previous year, and amounted to just 27%.

In 2020, when Germany was facing the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, only 40% of its citizens believed that the state was failing to fulfill its duties.

"Citizens' trust in their state's ability to act has thus fallen to a new low. That is alarming," said Ulrich Silberbach, the head of the German Association of Civil Servants (DBB), which commissions similar surveys every year.

"It's Not Left Vs Right Anymore, it's Anti-Establishment Versus Pro-Establishment."
— Glenn Greenwald
Karma is God's hickory switch, and almost always applied with a cosmic chortle. Things come around when a certain excess cargo of cognitive dissonance breaks the brains of those just struggling to carry on. The country has had enough — enough walking-talking hypocrisies, enough trips laid on it, enough Tik-tok lectures from the nose-rings-for-lunch-bunch. We're at the end of something and the beginning of something new. As in: an ass-beating is coming down.

Cue one Oliver Anthony, southern country boy with a flaming red beard and a new anthem for millions sore-beset by the relentless effronteries of the ruling elites. Rolling Stone Magazine, a ruling elites house organ, played the phenomenon this way:
Headline
These things listed above are...what? Things that Rolling Stone is in favor of? Pet causes? High taxes and obese people on welfare? And Mr. Anthony's song is dissing them? You mean Right-Wing influencers shouldn't mention Jeffrey Epstein's name? Is it just plain rude... or does it stir up unappetizing questions that are better off not being asked (in polite company)? Kind of shows you where the battle lines are drawn now, doesn't it?

After bashing it for 3 years and watching millions die, FDA now admits doctors had every right to prescribe Ivermectin as legitimate treatment for Covid-19

Just how corrupt is the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Anthony Fauci and the entire biomedical security state apparatus that peddled fear of Covid and said the only hope of defeating the virus was to wait for a new technologically advanced "vaccine" — the same "vaccine" that proved unsafe and ineffective?

We are talking about a corruption that is beyond the capacity of many Americans to comprehend.

The FDA, Fauci, the CDC, Biden, the entire U.S. medical system and the corporate media mind-controlled millions of Americans into believing that using the well-known anti-microbial drug Ivermectin was a laughingstock perpetuated by quacks and conspiracy theorists.

They kicked to the curb any physician who sought to prescribe Ivermectin to his or her patients infected with Covid. Despite the fact that Ivermectin has been FDA-approved for use in humans for decades, this same deep-state apparatus made it sound like Ivermectin was just a "horse drug" that stupid people were dangerously ingesting in a failed attempt to ward off Covid.

They mocked and derided us. Telling us we were using "horse paste" that was meant solely for livestock, when it was a known fact that Ivermectin, while used to protect equines and bovines from various viral infections, is just as effective in humans.

Now comes the bombshell report we've all been waiting for, exposing who the real quacks have been all along, detailing how they suppressed the administering of a well-known, very effective drug during the heat of the Covid pandemic that could have saved millions of lives.

The Epoch Times reports that doctors are now free to prescribe Ivermectin to treat COVID-19, more than two years after millions were killed by doctors listening to advice from Fauci and the FDA to not treat them with a known effective drug.

It all came out this week in litigation against the FDA.

The pot stench ruining America's cities and addicting her citizens? Blame George Soros

soros

A major part of billionaire activist and philanthropist George Soros's legacy will be the decriminalization of drug use in America

George Soros will turn 93 on August 12, and I can't think of a better way for him to celebrate his birthday than by relishing the vapors of marijuana wafting from a bong or pipe. You know, like the one dangling from conked-out Hunter Biden's lips.

In the early 1990s, at the height of the crack epidemic, it was Soros who funded "harm reduction" clinics to distribute drug pipes as part of "safe smoking kits." Similar "safe user kits" were made available to addicts in 2022 via the Biden administration's crusade to enable illicit drug consumption throughout America.

In 1994, shortly after Soros established his Open Society Institute in Manhattan, the mega political philanthropist decided to test the American criminal justice system and undermine the public's resolve to maintain long-held attitudes and moral values. The savvy speculator selectively targeted criminal laws that governed the use of illicit drugs. At the time, using illegal substances was deemed unacceptable by 90% of Americans. But the crafty Soros anticipated that Americans' attitudes would change once marijuana was legalized, and many would be willing to use drugs. He was right.

Zero cash bail to blame for 'brazen' smash and grab robberies in LA, police union says

Los Angeles' controversial zero cash bail policy is to blame for the recent surge in smash and grab robberies across the city, according to the union representing LAPD officers.

"The elimination of cash bail for these types of offenses is really an invitation to these kind of folks who are inclined to break the law and inclined to do it so brazenly, to push them over to say, 'hey, if I was to get caught, I'm going to be right back out again,'" Los Angeles Police Protective League spokesperson Tom Saggau told Fox News Digital.

Zero cash bail, also known as no-cash bail or zero-dollar bail, refers to individuals who are arrested and charged with a crime then released from custody without having to pay any bail money upfront.

The policy was first rolled out in LA during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to decrease jail crowding. It was terminated in July 2022, but a judge reinstated the policy in May after a class action lawsuit was filed by recent arrestees who couldn't afford to pay bail and had to remain in custody for a few extra days.

Goodhue, Minnesota, a small town in the southeastern part of the state, lost its entire police force after the chief and other members of the force handed in their resignations.

"I think we're all a little bit blindsided by it, but we're resilient and we're going to move forward," Goodhue Mayor Ellen Anderson Buck told Fox 9.

"I want to reiterate that we will have police coverage in the city of Goodhue," Buck said. "That is not an issue."

Police Chief Josh Smith, who will continue to serve in his position until Aug. 24, told city officials that he could not find anyone to sign up to join the police force.

West coast collapse: America's most affluent regions are dying under Democrat control

san francisco
The recent implosion of Silicon Valley Bank out of Santa Clara, California was highly symbolic of the greater decline in progress on the west coast of the US. The bank, which also had branch offices in the east, primarily operated out of the far-left corridor of LA, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle. SVB was a key hub in California for the proliferation of ESG investment and was deeply involved in ESG and DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) related policies. The bank was intended as a model for "woke-capitalism."

The corporate world is quietly and quickly attempting to remove ESG terminology from their public websites and reports now that the money is drying up, and the media has tried to deny that ESG had anything to do with the bank crisis in the spring. However, SVB's own internal reports outline quite clearly their ESG goals and projects.

The point? Get woke, go broke.

A glitch with Bank of Ireland's online app reportedly allowed customers with no money to transfer funds and withdraw it from an ATM.

The technical blunder meant people were able to put money into a Revolut digital account and then withdraw it from a cash point.

Some claimed that they were able to access as much as €1,000 (£859), but the bank insisted the daily withdrawal limit is €500 (£429), according to Independent.ie.

Netherlands 'unexpectedly' falls into recession on consumers, trade

netherlands recession 2023
The Dutch economy unexpectedly succumbed to its first recession since the pandemic on weakness in both consumer spending and exports.

Gross domestic product fell 0.3% from the previous three months between April and June, the statistics office said Wednesday. The result follows the first quarter's 0.4% revised slide and falls well short of the 0.2% growth seen in a Bloomberg survey.

The Netherlands must now confront economic pain alongside the political upheaval sparked by the resignation of long-time Prime Minister Mark Rutte. Behind the downturn in the first half of 2023 are labor shortages, muted demand from European trading partners and steep rises in interest rates as the European Central Bank seeks to tame inflation.

"Stability and predictability are now needed, so we have to be careful not to disrupt the economy and also to increase taxes," Economic Affairs Minister Micky Adriaansens told Dutch press agency ANP.

Comment: What with much of Europe and the US falling, or forecast to fall, into recession, in addition to the EU's massive losses over the last year because of Russia sanctions, in addition to the Netherlands sabotaging its own economy - from farming to tourism - it's not exactly clear why this was so 'unexpected'; on the contrary, it was rather predictable:

Joe Rogan bashes 'creepy' teachers pushing gender ideology with 'cartoon pornography:' 'F---ing loons'

Joe Rogan
© SpotifyJoe Rogan warns that many teachers see teaching as an opportunity to re-educate children and turn them against their conservative parents.
Podcaster Joe Rogan warned on Thursday that American parents are right to be concerned about students being exposed to radical gender theory or pornographic books in school.

"Those adults are with your children more than you are during the day," Rogan said to his guest, comedian Tim Dillon, about teachers. "They're there for hours and hours with the undivided attention of your kids and some of them are f---ing loons."

Rogan went on to note, "some of them think that they have a job to do, to remove the programming of the parents that they don't agree with."

The podcaster added that these teachers don't agree with parents' values and "tell the kids that the parents are wrong, and they're right, which is a real creepy thing."

Rogan followed by warning that someone can "get into your kid's head" with "questionable and debatable ideas that they're trying to push as doctrine."
