Jordanian security forces used tear gas to repel a group of pro-Palestinian protesters who were heading towards the border with the West Bank amid a flare-up between Israel and Gaza, a report says.

Witnesses told Reuters that Jordanian police fired tear gas and shot into the air as they dispersed a group of about 500 young people, who broke away from a scheduled route designed to allow protesters to express solidarity with the Palestinians along the border.

According to Reuters, the protesters were 5km (3 miles) away from a border bridge opposite the city of Jericho in the West Bank.

Comment: Israel appears to have lit a fire it might not be able to control.

A train company has apologised for not being inclusive after a conductor welcomed passengers on board with "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls".

The London North Eastern Railway issued a grovelling apology after passenger Laurence Coles complained.

Coles tweeted: "'Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...' so as a non-binary person this announcement doesn't actually apply to me so I won't listen".

Laurence's friend Charlotte Monroe, 28, also contacted the company, saying: "I was sat with Laurence when this tweet was sent. Both of us are non-binary, and we were both alarmed and uncomfortable by the lack of inclusion."

Comment: Histrionic, attention-seeking nonsense.

LNER responded saying: "I'm really sorry to see this, Laurence, our Train Managers should not be using language like this, and I thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Comment: Pure cowardice. This is how Woke totalitarians win. Easily.

"Please could you let me know which service you are on and I will ensure they remain as inclusive as we strive to be at LNER.

Ireland shuts down health IT systems after 'significant ransomware attack'

irish politicians

Ireland's health authority said Friday it had shut down its computer systems after experiencing a "significant ransomware attack", a week after the largest US fuel pipeline network was also targeted.

The Irish attack was blamed on international criminals and was said to be targeting healthcare records.

Officials said patient safety was not at risk however the Health Services Executive (HSE) said it is currently unable to make referrals for coronavirus testing.

Government minister Ossian Smyth told RTE it is "possibly the most significant cybercrime attack on the Irish State", calling it an "international attack" but "not espionage".

"These are cyber criminal gangs, looking for money," he told Ireland's state broadcaster.

Shut down all IT systems

The HSE said it shut down all its IT systems as a precaution but said the country's coronavirus vaccination programme was unaffected, as were emergency service calls.

But the referral system used to book Covid-19 tests was down.

Comment: Expect more cyberattacks during the pseudo-reign of Biden-Harris.

Maricopa County elections officials DELETED ENTIRE DATABASE DIRECTORY from voting machines - including "All Election Information" from main database

Arizona Senate President Karen Fann
Arizona Senate President Karen Fann
Last week, the Gateway Pundit reported about the emergency meeting that was called by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, after the County was reportedly unable to provide passwords to the auditors performing an audit of the county's 2020 Election results. They also did not provide access to the routers which were requested in the audit as well.

On Wednesady afternoon, it was discovered that "the entire database" showing the "Results Tally and Reporting" for the 2020 election had been deleted from the Maricopa County voting machines!

100 Percent Fed Up reports- President of the Arizona Senate Karen Fann has written a letter to Chairman Sellers, demanding answers.

Comment: Gateway Pundit follows up on the audit discrepancies:
Ballot auditors in Maricopa County are reporting that they have found "significant discrepancies" between the number of ballots therein and the batch reports included in the boxes.

The auditors have been reporting 5-15 percent discrepancies across many boxes, with the number consistently growing. Joe Biden supposedly won the county by only 2.2 percent, according to the official results.

Political strategist Boris Epshteyn said on an appearance on Steve Bannon's War Room show that the discrepancies may actually be as high as 17.5 percent — making it likely that "Biden did not win Arizona."

The National File reports that the "Arizona Senate President recently sent a letter to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, outlining the major issues discovered already in the audit, and offering to settle them without additional subpoenas or compulsory action. In the letter, says Epshteyn on Steve Bannon's podcast, it reveals, 'Pallet five, batch 2976, 200 pink slip total, actual total 165. They are missing 35 ballots out of that batch.' He added, '35 out of 100 is 17.5%. 10 out of 200 is 5%.'"

"Do you know how shocking that is? 17.5% discrepancy in a batch is beyond belief." He added, "In one they've got 18 more than there's supposed to be, which is a 9% discrepancy. Again, if we are to have any confidence in elections in this country, how can we possibly be okay with discrepancies of double digit percentages? It's absolutely mind boggling, anything above a tiny fraction of a percentage is unacceptable, by the way, unacceptable according to the Federal Elections Commission."
The stench fraud coming out of Arizona is overwhelming. Imagine what audits in Michigan or Pennsylvania would turn up?

The best of the barbs traded at first NYC mayoral debate

Ray McGuire and Shaun Donovan
© NY1Ray McGuire and Shaun Donovan traded barbs over banking and the Great Recession.
The Zoom forum for the first televised Democratic primary mayoral debate didn't stop the rival candidates from slinging mud across their computer screens, prompting leading candidate Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams to declare at one point, "Ohhh they're feisty!"

Here are some of the sharpest barbs from the showdown for the June 22 election :

"Don't get me involved in your daddy's problems," City Comptroller Scott Stringer told former Obama housing director Shaun Donovan, whose rich father has given millions to an outside group supporting his son's long shot bid.

**********

"With all due respect Ray, no one has that experience of really making sure we come back specifically from a crisis that you helped create in the Great Recession," Donovan told former Citigroup executive Ray McGuire, who shot back that he had "zero to do with anything involved in the mortgage crisis."

McGuire then cited his 13 years as the head of Citi's corporate and investment banking unit. "You know what they call that in my neighborhood? They call that receipts. He has blank checks," McGuire blasted back at Donovan.

Three suspects were charged and released weeks after allegedly smearing pig's blood on a northern California home previously owned by a defense witness who testified in the trial for former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, officials announced on Wednesday.

Rowan Dalbey, 20, Kristen Aumoithe, 34, and Amber Lucas, 35, all of Santa Rosa, California, were arrested Tuesday on felony vandalism and conspiracy charges. The three woman were cited and released, Santa Rosa Police spokeswoman Lt. Jeneane Kucker said Wednesday, according to the Associated Press. Kucker did not immediately return a voicemail left by Fox News Thursday seeking clarification.

The home allegedly targeted by the women was previously owned by retired Santa Rosa police officer Barry Brodd - who testified in a Hennepin County courtroom last month that he believed Chauvin was justified in his use of force against George Floyd during his fatal arrest on May 25, 2020.

'American Idol' contestant Caleb Kennedy has apologized and is leaving the singing competition after a video surfaced of him posing with a person in a KKK-style white hood.

Kennedy announced his departure from the long-running series, on which he was among the final five contestants, on Wednesday.

"There was a video that surfaced on the internet and it displayed actions that were not meant to be taken in that way," he wrote in a statement. "I was younger and did not think about the actions, but that's not an excuse. I wanna say sorry to all my fans and everyone who I have let down."

Kennedy had posted only a day before his announcement that he was in the studio "working on songs."

The video of Kennedy had previously been spread around social media after being posted to YouTube.

Virginia GOP lieutenant governor nominee slams critical race theory curriculum as 'nonsense'

winsome sears
Virginia Lt. Gov. nominee Winsome Sears, the first Black female Republican to participate in the race, told "Fox & Friends" on Thursday that critical race theory curriculum is "nonsense."

Sears, a Marine veteran, pushed back against teaching children to see White people and their families as "racist."

"It's going to be detrimental to our schools and not what we want. It supposedly is to help someone who looks like me and I'm sick of it, I'm sick of being used by the Democrats and so are many people who look like me," she added.

Former state delegate and Jamaica native Sears, 57, is the first Black Republican woman from her district to run for lieutenant governor. Her district is 60 percent Black.

CDC relaxes restrictions for vaccinated, unless they get reinfected

Biden

In a major step toward returning to pre-pandemic life, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention eased mask-wearing guidance for fully vaccinated people on Thursday, allowing them to stop wearing masks outdoors in crowds and in most indoor settings.

"Today is a great day for America," President Joe Biden said during a Rose Garden address heralding the new guidance.

"If you are fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask," he said, summarizing the new guidance and encouraging more Americans to roll up their sleeves. "Get vaccinated — or wear a mask until you do."

More than a quarter of EU adults would refuse Covid vaccine, over 50% in France - poll

Vaccine hesitancy rates in the EU are raising alarms, after a survey found that 27% of adults across the bloc said they'd be unlikely to accept a Covid-19 jab, amid a "failure" to persuade people of its efficacy and safety.

A Eurofound survey investigating vaccine take-up across EU member states flagged concerns about the success of messaging from health officials on Covid jabs, warning that the failure to fully convince the adult population to be inoculated could put the fight against the pandemic at risk.

Some 27% of those surveyed across Europe, including half of French respondents and 67% of those in Bulgaria, said they would be very unlikely or rather unlikely to get a Covid vaccine. There were big variations between states though, with people surveyed in Eastern European nations more likely to be more cautious about taking the jab. Hesitancy figures were above 30% in several states, including Croatia, Latvia, Poland and Slovenia.

Comment: That makes sense. Citizens in Eastern Europe are more likely to be familiar with insidious government propaganda campaigns. As for France, the Yellow Vest protests, that erupted in response to government mismanagement and corruption, enjoyed support from well over half of the population, and that reflects the deep mistrust French citizens have towards the ruling government.
