France has been ignoring the recruitment of its nationals to fight in the conflict, the Russian Foreign Ministry has said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned French Ambassador Pierre Levy in the aftermath of a deadly missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Kharkov that killed more than 60 foreign mercenaries, predominantly French nationals.

Moscow has summoned the French envoy to raise concerns over Paris' "growing involvement" in the conflict.

Russian officials told the envoy that the French government is to blame for the mass casualties, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement on Friday.

Georgia says West & Ukraine 'disgraced themselves', is waiting for an apology over Saakashvili torture accusations

Shalva Papuashvili

Head of the Georgian parliament said on Friday that his country's authorities are waiting for an apology from the presidents of Ukraine and Moldova, as well as some European countries over accusations of allegedly mistreating former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili in prison.

Shalva Papuashvili, in a televised interview, said a report released by a European human rights body proved that Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Maya Sandu "lied" when they accused Georgia of torturing Saakashvili.

The European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment on Thursday published the report noting satisfactory conditions of Saakashvili's detention in the private Vivamed clinic in Georgia's capital Tbilisi.

Comment: It seems that, in the same way the West and Israel, as well as the multipolar world, are using the increasingly chaotic situation to achieve objectives that would have previously been difficult, it seems likely that those countries the West has a tenuous grip over will also take advantage of the situation to make significant attempts to shrug them off once and for all:

The criminalization of international justice, putting an end to the genocide against the People of Palestine. Nuremberg Principle IV

rally
© unknownHarvard Students Palestine Rally
Introduction

This article examines the criminalization of International Justice as well as the stranglehold exerted by Washington over both the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

While we firmly support and endorse the Republic of South Africa's carefully formulated Legal Procedure against the State of Israel in relation to the Genocide Convention (Click Here to access 84 page Submission, Excerpts Below), the fundamental question is whether it will contribute to repealing the ongoing genocide and saving the lives of tens of thousands of civilians.

Will the Vote by the World Court's 15 Judges be based on "politics" or on an independent and "honest" legal analysis and documentation of the overwhelming evidence -presented by South Africa's Legal Team- pertaining to "alleged" acts of genocide by Israel?

We must recognize that there is "A Sense of Urgency":

The latter part of this article focusses on Principle IV of the Nuremberg Charter.

It is a proposal which has not been the object of media coverage and/or debate by anti-war activists. While it is predicated on international law, its conduct does not require the political rubber stamp of either the ICC or the ICJ.

Based on the Nuremberg Charter, what is required is a grass-roots campaign encouraging: Israeli, American and NATO Combatants to "Disobey Unlawful Orders" and "Abandon the Battlefield".

It is based on Principle IV of the Nuremberg Charter which defines the responsibility of combatants "to refuse the orders of Government or a superior ... "provided a moral choice [is] possible". It can be conducted without delay in the form of a Worldwide grass-roots campaign, concurrently and in solidarity with South Africa's Procedure at the ICJ.

Consequences of the Houthi Attack

Despite months of shuttle diplomacy by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to head off any escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, the US and the UK late last week launched an attack on Yemen's Houthi militia using aircraft and cruise missiles. The military action was in response to the ongoing attacks by the Houthis on shipping in the Red Sea and was designed to deter them from further maritime strikes. The initial indicators are that this is unlikely to succeed, leaving the US and the region trapped in the very cycle of military escalation that Washington claimed it was trying to avoid.

On Nov. 19, 2023, the Houthi militia began attacking vessels it deemed to be affiliated with Israel that were transiting shipping lanes in the Red Sea. The Houthis claimed that their actions were conducted out of solidarity with the Palestinian people, and to protest the deaths of thousands of civilians in Gaza from Israeli military action. Since then, the Houthis have carried out at least 27 attacks, including their largest ever, on Jan. 9, 2024, involving 18 drones, two cruise missiles and one ballistic missile.

Comment: The US military policies have become knee-jerk reactions...stars without stripes.

No Palestinian state - Netanyahu

The US and Israel have clashed over the future of post-war Gaza...

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel "will not settle for anything short of an absolute victory," rejecting calls from Washington to either wind down the hostilities in Gaza or support the creation of a Palestinian state.

The US pushed for the realization of the two-state solution earlier this week in Davos, with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arguing that Israel's path to "genuine security" lay with the formation of a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu said at a press briefing, Thursday, in Tel Aviv:
"Israel must maintain security control over all the territory west of the Jordan River, to ensure no terror is leveled against the Israeli people.

"We will not settle for anything short of an absolute victory... That collides with the idea of [Palestinian] sovereignty. What can we do? I have explained this truth to our American friends, and I put the brakes on the attempt to coerce us to a reality that would endanger the state of Israel."
However, Washington believes there is no way to solve Israel and Gaza's long- and short-term problems "without the establishment of a Palestinian state," US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller reiterated on Thursday.

Comment: The US says 'No' with billions of dollars, weapons, equipment, handkerchief wringing and hand holding. Shalom.

Ukraine has bet on losers - ex-Zelensky aide

Aleksey Arestovich has warned against repeating the mistakes from the country's past...

Ukrainians have repeatedly joined the losing side at key points in their history and are likely acting against their own interests once again, former presidential adviser Aleksey Arestovich has said.

President Vladimir Zelensky's former top spin doctor resigned last January and has since moved to the US, claiming that Kiev wants him jailed on politically motivated charges.

On Wednesday, Arestovich wrote on X:
"Our problem is that at turning points in our history, we bet on the side that is losing. The point is not to bet on the winners, the point is that over and over again we do not bet on ourselves and our own interests."
As one example, Arestovich mentioned Pavel Skoropadsky, a Russian cavalry officer who sided with Imperial Germany in 1918 to head the 'Hetmanate of Ukraine', but had to flee when the Central Powers surrendered to the Entente.

Financial Crimes Enforcement Network urged financial institutions in the wake of January 6, 2021 to look through customers' transactions, using search terms like "Trump" and "MAGA."

The federal government flags terms like "MAGA" and "Trump" for financial institutions if Americans use those phrases when completing transactions, according to new documents obtained by the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

GOP lawmakers on the panel said that individuals who shopped at retailers such as Cabela's or Dick's Sporting Goods or purchased religious texts such as the Bible may also have had their transactions flagged.

Rep. Jim Jordan, the chairman of both the select subcommittee and the House Judiciary Committee, sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher A. Wray requesting a transcribed interview from Peter Sullivan, senior private sector partner for outreach in the Strategic Partner Engagement Section of the FBI.

WEF say World's greatest threat is "Misinformation" — (The biggest threat to experts and billionaires is free speech)

Finally, they admit that Free Speech is more scary than climate change

The WEF, being the billionaire's ski club — are of course, talking about the worlds greatest threat to them, not to you.

In the WEF Global Risks Report they asked 1,490 experts and leaders and their the list of biggest risks in the next two years was misinformation and disinformation. Forget bioweapons, nuclear bombs, wars, corruption, asteroids, inflation and global boiling — the thing that keeps the favored "experts" awake at night is whether people will point out their flaws and expose the rorts* that put them at the top of the pile.
WEF Survey
The "Misinformation and Disinformation" line is dressed up as a concern that AI generated or false information is the problem, but note the giveaway — those in authority are most worried about public opinion shifting to distrust those in authority — as if "authority" could never be wrong.

Blind trust is how you build nations right?
Persistent false information (deliberate or otherwise) widely spread through media networks, shifting public opinion in a significant way towards distrust in facts and authority. Includes, but is not limited to: false, imposter, manipulated and fabricated content.
Fake news has been around since the StoneAge, and the only way to deal with it is to correct it with better information, not with gatekeepers of truth or government rules. Free speech works because anyone caught spreading lies got a bad reputation, and everyone else was free to repeat that.

How is it that those who control the research grants, the media licenses, and one third of the whole economy could be unable to defend themselves? Do they lack a thousand paid agents with supercomputers, guns and security passes to find out the truth? Nay, these are the poor poppets who only have whole institutions, ministries, and public broadcasters with budgets of billions to tell their side of the story. The problem is they have everything on their side except the truth.

Special Counsel Jack Smith has been excoriated by a panel of four appellate court judges for his unprecedented search of a former president's private communications.

The judges condemned Smith's violation of executive privilege by searching former President Donald Trump's Twitter files.

"Holy sh*t: 4 judges on DC appellate court just delivered a scorching smack down of Special Counsel Jack Smith, Judge Beryl Howell, and Judge Florence Pan for search of Trump's Twitter file," reported Julie Kelly.

"The Special Counsel's approach obscured and bypassed any assertion of executive privilege and dodged the careful balance Congress struck in the Presidential Records Act," she added while citing a user named @FamilyManAndrew.

Trump's lawyers warn of nationwide 'chaos'

The GOP frontrunner's team has told the US Supreme Court his possible removal from Colorado's ballot would have dire consequences

Donald Trump's lawyers have warned that the entire entire US could be plunged into chaos if the country's Supreme Court upholds the state of Colorado's decision to remove the republican presidential frontrunner from its ballot.

Last month, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled Trump ineligible to run for re-election and removed him from the ballot for the presidential primary on March 5. The court cited the 14th Amendment, which bans insurrectionists from holding public office.

Trump's lawyers argued again on Thursday that the former president had not instigated the riot on January 6, 2021.
