The lengthy record of US F-35 fighter jet mishaps soldiers on. This time, a Marine Corps F-35B Joint Strike VTOL fighter caught fire during a training mission in October.

The Marine Corps is conducting an investigation after the F-35B Joint Strike vertical take-off and landing aircraft caught fire during a training mission, according to a Military.com report. The jet caught fire in its weapons bay during a training flight over Beaufort, South Carolina, the website said.

"The aircraft landed safely and there were no injuries sustained," 1st Lt. John Roberts, a spokesman for 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, told reporters. "An investigation is ongoing and we will provide updates as they are available."

Donald Trump's campaign manager, speaking on MSNBC, said appointing a special prosecutor for Hillary Clinton can't be ruled out, adding that discussion regarding the issue will happen "in due time." Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence are "looking to unify the country, but we haven't discussed that in recent days, and I think that it's all in due time," campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told MSNBC in an interview, as quoted by Reuters.

Trump did not bring up the issue when speaking on the phone with Clinton overnight, the campaign manager added in a separate interview for ABC. During his campaign, Trump said that if he wins, Clinton might end up with a special prosecutor looking into "her situation." "If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation. Because there have never been so many lies, so much deception," he said at one of the rallies.

Comment: A Hillary Clinton presidency would have guaranteed the continuation of all the things the New World Order wanted to have done.

Russia is ready to restore bilateral relations with the United States, Russia's President Vladimir Putin said, following Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election.
"We heard [Trump's] campaign rhetoric while still a candidate for the US presidency, which was focused on restoring the relations between Russia and the United States," Putin said at the presentation ceremony of foreign ambassadors' letters of credentials in Moscow, adding "We understand and are aware that it will be a difficult path in the light of the degradation in which, unfortunately, the relationship between Russia and the US are at the moment."
Earlier on November 8, Putin expressed confidence that the dialogue between Moscow and Washington meets the interests of both Russia and the US. Russia's President noted in the message to Donald Trump that he hopes to address some "burning issues that are currently on the international agenda, and search for effective responses to the challenges of the global security."

FBI Director James Comey dropped the proverbial bombshell when he announced a 'reopening' of the investigation into the Hillary Clinton private email server email scandal. For just over a week, the news threatened to detonate smack bang in the middle of the Clinton campaign team, threatening to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for crooked Hillary. To make matters worse, we learned that a year-long parallel investigation is being carried out against The Clinton Foundation and potential pay-to-play scheming, and that is where the FBI is focusing. It comes with potential bombshells that could substitute Clinton's plans for swanning around the White House with despairingly clutching at the bars of a prison cell.

The fact Clinton is still in the race and that Trump has emerged as the Republican candidate shows how broken US democracy and the political system are. That Clinton hasn't withdrawn from the presidential race, apologising profusely for her misdeeds, shows just how corrupt and power hungry she is and how she views herself as beyond the law. Julian Assange said she is "eaten alive by her ambition," suggestive of a psychopathic nature that doesn't know right from wrong and doubles down on the corrupt behaviour when the heat is on.

Clinton could take office with multiple investigations being run against her and her associates, any of which could bring her down.

After claiming the lives of more than a quarter of a million people; causing the biggest refugee crisis since World War II; and fueling the rise of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the civil war in Syria, which started in 2011 as a peaceful protest against President Bashar al-Assad, but later turned into an international proxy war, is today, signaling World War III. At least, that's what the West and the mainstream media want you to believe.

However, the truth is the United States and its allies are using the "war crimes" and "crimes of historic proportions" in Syria to prolong the proxy war, overthrow Assad, and annex an independent country. Sadly, the United Nations, Amnesty International, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, and other "concerned parties" (including the mainstream media), support the West in its malicious intent.

Philippine coast guard and fishing boats enter disputed shoal, China doesn't object

Two Philippine Coast Guard ships have started patrolling the disputed Scarborough Shoal in what appears to be a new understanding with the Chinese.

The two vessels, the BRP Tubbataha and MCS 3010, arrived at Scarborough Shoal on 5 November and have already filed their first report, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) commander Rear Admiral William Melad said on Monday.

"But the sea condition was bad and they only sighted one Filipino fishing boat in the area," he told the Philippine Star.

When asked if there had been any encounters with Chinese vessels, Melad declined to comment.

The 2016 US Presidential election has seen a coming together of hard-core Bush-era neocons and the anti-Bush liberal-left in support of the candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The unofficial coalition, which looks likely to help propel the Democratic nominee to the White House (if the polls are to believed), will have surprised many, but it's not the first time self-identified progressives have - wittingly or unwittingly - aided the cause of the most reactionary people in western politics.

The neocons: a group of ultra-hawkish hard-right imperialists, who are quite happy for the US to illegally invade other sovereign states and drop bombs all over the world. The liberal-left: who profess their support for human rights, internationalism and progressive causes.

At first sight, these two groups don't appear to have much in common. But the truth is the liberal-left have for a long time been the accomplices of the endless war lobby.

Think back to 1999 and the US-led bombing of Yugoslavia. Never mind that the Balkan state was a multi-party democracy that operated an economy with very high levels of public/social ownership: the liberal-left cheered as bombs rained down on Belgrade, Nis and Kragujevac . Many 'progressives' swallowed hook, line and sinker the lurid claims of a 'genocide' being committed in the province of Kosovo, which were later dismissed by a UN court.
