Turkey playing both sides with Russian S-400 purchase risks exposing US F-35 faults says NATO general

NATO remains worried that Turkey operating F-35s alongside S-400 air-defense systems might expose the state-of-the-art jet's advantages, or lack of thereof, to allies and "known foes," said the bloc's Allied Air Commander.

"Anything that an S-400 can do that affords it the ability to better understand a capability like the F-35 is certainly not to the advantage of the coalition," NATO Allied Air Commander General Tod Wolters told Reuters.

The NATO general fueled the fears that by simply operating both S-400s and the F-35 Lightning II fifth-generation fighters simultaneously, Turkey, which seeks to integrate all of its military information systems, could compromise the entire multi-billion-dollar program. The Washington-led military alliance thus risks losing the perceived advantages of the F-35s, which are rapidly being transferred to allies across the world.

Comment: We've yet to hear any complaints from Russia, but that may be because their missile defense system hasn't been plagued with problems like the pitiful US F-35 program:

US media loses its mind over Trump-Putin summit

Putin Trump Summit
© Shealah CraigheadThe summit begins
The reaction of the U.S. establishment media and several political leaders to President Donald Trump's press conference after his summit meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday has been stunning.

Writing in The Atlantic, James Fallows said:
"There are exactly two possible explanations for the shameful performance the world witnessed on Monday, from a serving American president.

Either Donald Trump is flat-out an agent of Russian interests-maybe witting, maybe unwitting, from fear of blackmail, in hope of future deals, out of manly respect for Vladimir Putin, out of gratitude for Russia's help during the election, out of pathetic inability to see beyond his 306 electoral votes. Whatever the exact mixture of motives might be, it doesn't really matter.

Or he is so profoundly ignorant, insecure, and narcissistic that he did not realize that, at every step, he was advancing the line that Putin hoped he would advance, and the line that the American intelligence, defense, and law-enforcement agencies most dreaded.

Conscious tool. Useful idiot. Those are the choices, though both are possibly true, so that the main question is the proportions ... never before have I seen an American president consistently, repeatedly, publicly, and shockingly advance the interests of another country over those of his own government and people."
As soon as the press conference ended CNN cut to its panel with these words from TV personality Anderson Cooper: "You have been watching perhaps one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president at a summit in front of a Russian leader, surely, that I've ever seen."

Comment: Heaven forbid should relations improve between Russia and the US, as that would impede the Deep State designs to destabilize the region advance their endless war agenda. Thus the extreme efforts seen in the media to discredit the summit and any potential good that may come out of it. See also:

Turkish analysts: NATO seeks to use Turkish territory to encircle Iran

It is the Kurdish YPG forces and their US sponsors, not the Syrian army, that pose the main threat to Turkey's southern borders, Turkish political analysts told Sputnik when commenting on the parts of a NATO declaration directly pertaining to their country.

In a statement released on Wednesday following its summit in Brussels, NATO vows to protect Turkey's southern border.

The statement also says that NATO "continues to monitor and assess the ballistic missile threat from Syria," and that "tailored assurance measures for Turkey to respond to the growing security challenges from the south contribute to the security of the Alliance as a whole, and will be fully implemented."

Donald Tusk recognizes world is changing, calls on Europe, US, Russia, and China to 'prevent global chaos'

Donald Tusk
© European Jewish CongressEuropean Council President Donald Tusk
Donald Tusk, the European council president, has called on Europe, China, the US and Russia to work together to avoid trade wars and "prevent conflict and chaos".

"We are all aware of the fact that the architecture of the world is changing before our very eyes and it is our common responsibility to make it change for the better," he said on Monday at the opening of a summit between Chinaand the EU in Beijing.

Tusk, adding that trade wars can turn into "hot conflicts", called for World Trade Organisation reform. "There is still time to prevent conflict and chaos," he said.

As EU and Chinese leaders discuss climate change, clean energy, trade and North Korea among other issues, Donald Trump, the US president, has been preparing for talks with the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, in Helsinki.

Comment: Is Tusk actually seeing sense, or is his version of 'global chaos' based largely around the rising influences of Russia and China's multi-polar world? Tusk doesn't recognize the long standing role the US has played as a destabilizing factor over the world economy, and that tells us a lot about the way he thinks.

Petition calls for Maxine Waters removal from congress for inciting public attacks

maxine waters protest
Maxine Waters has crossed a dangerous line, calling for attacks and violence against all Trump officials.

What Waters said, when she called on Americans to "push back" against Trump officials, is one of the most irresponsible statements anyone could have said, let alone a so-called Democrat leader.

It is especially dangerous to call for public attacks at a time in our country when liberals are so wildly unhinged and violent, have no control over their emotions and are brainwashed by fake news and hoodwinked by lying, sleazy politicians like Maxine Waters.

Under the circumstances, censure is not enough for Maxine Waters.

US president's remarks called anything from "fair" to "high treason and impeachable" as American Deep State gets called out more strongly than ever

US president's summit remarks called "high treason and impeachable" as American Deep State gets called out more strongly than ever

It is when the hornet's nest gets beaten and knocked out of the tree that the hornets get really dangerous. It is when the fire ant hill gets stirred with a stick and dug up that the ground seethes with angry ants who are ready to bite anything to defend themselves. And so it is with the elements of the American Deep State, as their vaunted hopes of hanging Trump from the noose of RussiaGate got beaten to the ground and destroyed, not only by the president's meeting with the Russian head of state, but also by the response from President Vladimir Putin himself after the summit.

Putin & Trump shake hands before face-to-face summit in Helsinki - cue the clueless, hysterical punditry

Putin & Trump shake hands ahead of face-to-face summit in Helsinki
The presidents of Russia and the US have begun their meeting in Finland with a handshake and a pledge to discuss frankly all the differences between their countries - and ways to improve a sour relationship.

Vladimir Putin of Russia and Donald Trump of the US are holding their first dedicated meeting in the Finnish capital since the latter took office following the 2016 US presidential election. The relationship between the two countries is arguably at its lowest point since the end of the Cold War. Addressing journalists ahead of a one-on-one meeting with Trump, Putin said the Monday summit was a continuation of previous contacts between the two.

"We had contacts over the previous months, talked on the phone and met on the sidelines of various international events," Putin said. "The time has certainly come for a comprehensive discussion of our bilateral relations and some of the sour points that [have built-up.]"

Comment: Let the press bloviate all they like. What matters is the discussions had in private, and those seem to have gone well. Sane people all over the world are breathing a little easier.

Majority of Clinton emails were funneled to 'foreign entity'; Strzok knew and ignored it

Killary waving

As we sift through the ashes of Thursday's dumpster-fire Congressional hearing with still employed FBI agent Peter Strzok, Luke Rosiak of the Daily Caller plucked out a key exchange between Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Tx) and Strzok which revealed a yet-unknown bombshell about the Clinton email case.

Nearly all of Hillary Clinton's emails on her homebrew server went to a foreign entity that isn't Russia. When this was discovered by the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG), IG Chuck McCullough sent his investigator Frank Ruckner and an attorney to notify Strzok along with three other people about the "anomaly."

Four separate attempts were also made to notify DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz to brief him on the massive security breach, however Horowitz "never returned the call." Recall that Horowitz concluded last month that despite Strzok's extreme bias towards Hillary Clinton and against Donald Trump - none of it translated to Strzok's work at the FBI.

In other words; Strzok, while investigating Clinton's email server, completely ignored the fact that most of Clinton's emails were sent to a foreign entity - while IG Horowitz simply didn't want to know about it.
The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found an "anomaly on Hillary Clinton's emails going through their private server, and when they had done the forensic analysis, they found that her emails, every single one except four, over 30,000, were going to an address that was not on the distribution list," Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas said during a hearing with FBI official Peter Strzok. -Daily Caller
Gohmert continued; "It was going to an unauthorized source that was a foreign entity unrelated to Russia."

UK reported to be in 'secret talks' with Ecuador to evict Assange from embassy

Ecuador pais

For over two months now media have been speculating that Ecuador is preparing to strip WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange of his political asylum and hand him over to British and US authorities after Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Maria Fernanda Espinosa said that her government and the UK had "the intention and the interest that this be solved."

According to The Times, the United Kingdom and Ecuador are engaged in secret talks to banish Julian Assange from the South American state's embassy in London, where he has been living since 2012 for fear of being extradited to the US where he would face espionage charges. Senior foreign officials, allegedly including the Foreign Office minister Sir Alan Duncan, are discussing the world's most famous whistleblower's fate.

The reported high-level negotiations came weeks before Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno's visit to the UK. The head of the state previously described Assange, who was granted asylum under Moreno's predecessor Rafael Correa, as a "hacker," an "inherited problem" and a "stone in the shoe," The Sunday Times reported.

Unnamed sources, ostensibly close to Assange, are said to believe that he cannot be deprived of political asylum, and that he's not aware of the top-level talks.
